- Imelda (8/5): Nice and quiet. Beautiful setting. - Nice and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Friendly staff. It was not cleaned properly. Towels needs replacement. Kitchen utensils needs urgent attention.
- Gary (9/5): -
- Mishka (6/5): Do not come here if you're Jewish. The owner made some very anti-semitic statements - Great rooms, food, and game drive The dirt road leading to the place, the anti-semitism of the owner
- Michelle (10/5): A great stay en route to the northern cape - Beautiful property and rooms with very hospitable hosts. The dinner was excellent. Nothing
- De (8/5): Very good - Beautiful Beautiful

- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): A long drive down gravel roads, but well worth while - A lovely game ranch (although we were not there long enough to take advantage of a game drive). An extremely comfortable room. The hosts Louann and Michelle looked after us. Louann in the evening and we sat out and shared a bottle of wine and put the world to rights (Louann was awaiting the arrival of guests). Michelle did breakfast and afterward told us about her art hanging in the main bar/dining room. Breakfast is booked for a certain time and cooked for your arrival. As I only have a fruit and cereal breakfast, it came as a surprise when Michelle brought out a full cooked breakfast for me, which sadly I was unable to eat.
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Marijke (8/5): Spacious, well equipped and comfortable. - Friendly owner, spacious, well equipped. We loved the emu! Aircon worked like a bomb on the hot day. Ceiling fan in bedroom could be renewed, it was super wobbly and didn't have much effect.
- Saif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clayton (9/5): Superb -
- Naroesca (10/5): The stay was amazing and the people were really welcoming. Felt like a home away from home -
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- Vince-rhys (8/5): Comfortable stay, minor hiccups but overall a lovely place and kind hosts - Cold front long weekend was made better by our hosts due to awesome aircon heater. No breakfast available due to chefs being on leave / unavailable due to long weekend.
- Petra (10/5): If you want nature and tranquility, this is the place to be. - What a lovely place to stay. It is away from any town noises and traffic. The chalets are well equipped and spacious. We sat outside watching the animals at the water hole at night. The owner went out of his way to ensure our comfort. Dinner was great. Nothing. It was just a pleasure staying there.
- Roelof (10/5): HOSPITALITY BENCH-SETTER AND EYE-OPENER! - We liked everything! Beautiful lodge, great setting, the most incredible host and hostess: Louaan who, without our knowledge, arranged to have our car problem sorted out the following day (thank goodness!) and Michelle who never stops caring and who prepared a great dinner for us (the BEST steak in the country!!) and a breakfast which was next level, in a class of its own! The accommodation was superb, so were all other facilities, not forgetting unmatched hospitality. PERFECTION IN PRACTICE! Recommended with enthusiasm. Absolutely nothing, dirt road, perhaps? But it is a game lodge 😬!
- Ritrisha (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (9/5): Quiet Beauty - The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast and dinner were very good.
It is quiet and you can enjoy the beauty of nature.

- Derek (9/5): Great Lodge! The best in the area by far!! - The owners are very nice and assisted wherever possible. We have a great game drive and relaxed on the patio the evening with great food and wine. The breakfast was exquisite. Unfortunately the one room was cleaned long before, but did not kill the mood.
- Babie (9/5): Superb -
- Steph (10/5): Feel at home and get spoiled at Almar Exclusive Game Ranch. - We had a fantastic time at Almar. Louaan and staff made us feel at home from the first hello. They are extremely helpful, friendly and always willing to assist. The accommodation was clean and spacious and we had a great private boma to braai at. They also took us on two gorgeous game drive and shared their knowledge of the animals and history of the area. We ended our stay with a lovely dinner at the lodge restaurant. We will definitely be back for many more visits to Almar. Thanks Louaan, Michelle, Magdalene and Lucky!
- Moagi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (9/5): Great hospitality and location - Louaan made sure we had everything we wanted and was attentive without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our too-brief stay at Almar and would recommend to anyone. It must be a great location for a game drive or wedding. Our rooms had everything we needed and it was great to be able to sit on our balcony and watch the wildlife.

- Evelyn (8/5): Alma Family vacation - We enjoyed our family weekend away at Almar. The kids loved being in the pool and seeing the animals.
Our unit was the best...The rooms were spacious and comfortable with enough room for everyone.
- Hlamalani (10/5): - The place is warm relaxing if you need rest yes that's a place for you listening just to nature
