Dog en ting at være opmærksom på er at de er begyndt at tage penge for wellnes området på time basis. det står der intet op på deres bskriivelse. vi brokket os over det da vi gerne ville have den viden inden vi booket. De undersøgte om det var rigtigt at der ikke stod noget om det så vi fik 1 timer hver dag gratis. Men kan se de ikke har tilføjet det på teksten. men eller set super hotel med virklig godt morgenmad.
• David (10/5): THE Place to Stay in Lviv! - Given this is a war situation, the level of hospitality and friendliness was outstanding. The staff were absolutely lovely. Also the food and drinks were superb; the Uzgar was brilliant, like drinking an old much-loved smoke stained shepherd's hut but lovely!! Thank you so very much everyone! The hotel is very pleasant indeed (but like all hotels I have stayed at in Ukraine the lack of a kettle and tea making facilities is a big issue for Brits! A kettle was available by request, thank you, but culturally Ukraine hotels need to embrace this going forward. It is pretty much a given standard internationally. It sounds petty and churlish I know, but it has surprising importance to many of us Brits!!!) The swimming pool, sauna and spa being in use in wartime was initially a challenge given the power outages, but the staff were keen to patiently explain how vital our contribution to Ukraine's economy really is. On the basis that we did spend money, make donations wherever we could, and generally sought to tip above our normal average whilst in Lviv, we accepted the logic and were very grateful for the facilities still being available. We would have fully understood if they were closed. All in all, a great stay and we were thrilled to see the hotel full at the weekend, well done Taurus! We shall definitely return in the autumn. • valentina (6/5): - we were placed in part of old building. it was very small room under the roof on the sixth floor. in the hallway and the room was bad smell of chemicals. we decided to stay for one night. I couldn’t sleep because of my asthma and allergy i have. about 2 am I came to person in the registry and asked to give us room in new building. she was very nice, helped us to get another room with no smell. she helped us to move there. We spent another night in another part of the building. Breakfast were good , people were nice. except the problem I got in the beginning of my staying. any strong smell give me trouble with my allergy. I ‘d advised them to take old carpets off and do not use smelly strong chemicals.

The hotel is rather new with conveniences we are accustomed to in the U.S. (Just remember to take your own washcloths. Most Ukrainian hotels do not supply washcloths!) The abundant hot and cold breakfast buffet was outstanding! The hotel was away from the city street sounds.

The food and service were definitely a disappointment where when we stayed at the bank hotel the food was spectacular along with service. If we return we’ll definitely make sure to book ahead so we can stay at the bank hotel. Btw the reviews on this hotel were great but were very misleading.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - The biggest issue of the property is a misleading description. On expedia, there is no information that pool is not included in the price. The area in which is the hotel is quite poor - it's quite empty, its also quite far away so it requires taking an uber. Definitely not worth paying, taking an apartment in the center makes more sense. Most options on breakfast are with meat, couple more cheeses and veggies wouldn't hurt.

Le personnel parle un anglais très approximatif (comme beaucoup d’Ukrainiens) mais est à l’écoute et disponible. Service de massages très agréable et peu onéreux (moins de 20€ le massage d’une heure). Petit-déjeuner bon mais peu de choix sucrés. Chambre confortable.

• Matias (2/5): Extremely noisy - The noise in all the hotel was so loud. Sunday afternoon musid did not stop and it was so noisy. But the worst came on Monday night: dance music until 12 pm at very high volume. I complained and they told me that they had a banquet and they could not lower the volume. I was in 5th floor and I felt in the middle of the dance floor

• David (10/5): Excellent quality. - Taurus hotel was really surprisingly beautiful. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and great toiletries. What a treat! Sevice was outstanding. I called reception for a toothbrush and in a matter of seconds I received knock on the door with the requested item. The staff is helpful and kind. I was disappointed that the spa was not working but not needed for a short stay. The area is off the beaten path but an easy walk to the main square. The complex is impressive with two connected buildings and second hotel across the street. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choices and great coffee. Excellent value for this 5 star quality hotel . I will book again for my next stay in this wonderful town. Lviv has so much to offer.

• Olena (10/5): Прекрасный отель, современный, доброжелательность - Прекрасный современный Отель. С прекрасным сервисом, великолепными завтраками, чистым бассейном, хорошими саунами. Единственный минус: при выселении нам указали, что в мини баре оказались распечатанными шоколад, сок и чипсы. Поднявшись в номер мы не увидели сока и чипсов ( объяснили , что их уже успели выкинуть), на столе лежал распечатанный полупустой шоколад( непонятно почему его не успели выкинуть?). Вообщем остался большой осадок, путешествуем постоянно по Европе таких ситуаций не возникало. И уборка слабая-поверхностная ( между днями прибывания). Но однозначно при посещении Львова вернёмся!

• D (6/5): Hotel and Spa - Easy to find but away from the centre of the city and they offered parking spaces in their car park. The bed and pillow was not very comfortable for me. The air conditioning was noisy and we could not leave it on at night. The room opposite also had a noisy aircon unit which meant we could not leave our window open. There was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom... One tiny shelf to hold toiletries. However the shower was good and spacious. The size of the room was comfortable but there were no facilities for making a hot drink. We chose this hotel for the swimming pool but it was disappointingly small - no more then two people at once and only half a dozen swim strokes end to end. The charge is 100 uah per hour but the pool is only open from 10am which rules out a swim before breakfast. Next time I would probably stay in the ibis which is more comfortable, has better quality breakfast and is more central.

The laundry service is outstanding, good prices and back within 4 hours. Well stocked mini bar. Had spa, jacuzzi, and massage on 1st level but didn't have time to enjoy. However, their pricing seemed to be lowest I have seen. Only drawback is it is 20-25 minute walk to city center. But, grab one of the cheap ($3 US) taxis and who cares.

• Verified traveler (10/5): European Quality in Ukraine - The best hotel that we have stayed at in Ukraine. It is clear that the hotel is new and has been modeled after Western style hotels. We have stayed in other hotels in Ukraine that made us wondering why we had to even pay for the room. This place was a home away from home and was a win for the whole family. We only wish we would have stayed there more nights. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is AMAZING! By far, the best complimentary breakfast that I have ever had at any hotel. • onur (6/5): Clean but cold - The hotel was ok. Just ok. Because, location is not so close to the center. It is about 15 mins by walking but you should think about weather also. Room was big enough but cold at nigths. The water at shower also cold at night, i don't know why. I can't recommend there much because my experience was not so good. The hotel is clean but service and heat not so good.

• Greg (8/5): Nice Modern and Comfortable - The room was really nice. It had air conditioning which was a big plus with the heat we were having. The bathroom was really nice as well, new and modern. I like that there was also a mini fridge in the room, stocked with drinks and snacks that you could purchase. There was ample room in the fridge to add my own items as well. I did not like that they charge an hourly fee separately for use of the pool, but it was part of the spa area indoors, so I guess it can be normal to charge for spa use. Overall, everything in the Ukraine is a great value for Americans, including this hotel. I couldn't believe how inexpensive, yet nice the hotel was. There was miscommunication when booking my massage appointment at the spa...I did not get the services I ordered, so was not too happy with that...but overall, I was happy with the hotel and the staff. The location is a little hidden down some side streets until you get out to one of the main blvds., but a short walk like 10 -15 min or so to the big farmer's market in one direction, or to the old town area and main square in the other direction.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing deal - Throughout my stay I could not believe I only paid ~$27 for the place. The hotel comes fully equipped with spa, cafe, restaurant, and bar. It is well situated, about 30 minutes from town center and 10 minutes to St. George's Cathedral. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. I expect the ongoing construction nearby is the reason for the current discounted price, but it's not really a bother.
