Además, el establecimiento dispone de una piscina exterior y un spa de uso común en una caseta independiente. La habitación, anunciada como “Deluxe” de 25 m², resultó ser mucho más pequeña de lo esperado. Todo era muy escaso: no había armario ni perchas, el menaje de cocina era mínimo y apenas había espacio para guardar o dejar cosas. El lavabo del baño también era tan pequeño que resultaba muy incómodo de usar.

• Judi (7/5): The owners have put in much effort to modernise the rooms. - The motel looked to be the best option of limited choices in Kaitaia. Unfortunately the next door neighbour has a very loud barking dog

• Hikitia (10/5): Excellent stay thank you. - They were able to accommodate my request for parking right outside our room and ground level accommodation by putting us in older accommodation, supposed to be in newer part of Motel. Had everything we needed, very very comfortable, didn't mind the older decor cos they met our requests. Excellent hassle free stay, party of 3.

Leider sind verschiedene Dinge nicht mehr wirklich in Ordnung: wackliger Stuhl, verklemmter Wasserhahn....es wirkte etwas lieblos, nachlässig gewartet.

• Eksteen (3/5): Will not use this motel again - It was a good size unit The carpets were so dirty, not sure if it was blood stains or what it was, its radish brown drippings next to the bed and under the Tv. The complete apartment smelled like wet dog too. I wanted to turn around and walk out but was so tired of travelling and decided to just stay the night, but at night realised the beds were also so uncomfortable you can feel the mattress coils coming through.

Wünsche oder Fehlendes werden sofort, zuvorkommend und mit sehr viel Einsatz in Ordnung gebracht. Sehr gute Lage. Interessantes, älteres Gebäude und Pub. Gibt Einblick in lokales Leben und geschichtliche Hintergründe. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll im vintage Stil ausgestattet. Grosses Pub, tolle Musik, Aufsteller. Pub serviert Mahlzeiten. Gute Auswahl und passable Küche. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und wurde zu einem Teil unprofessionell renoviert. Das muss jetzt wohl das aktuell im Einsatz stehende Personal ausbaden und wettmachen. - Aber darum erst recht: unterstützenswert!!!

• Nicola (5/5): - Staff Facilities Room We had a room near the neighbours property who was a dog breeder and had just laid fresh silage in his yard When booking, we recommend asking for a room away from his yard.
• Sonny (5/5): Not bad for a night stay. - Location. Too close to the road and you can hear traffic noise from the room. The amenities are outdated and there is no aircon. However, the staff was really friendly and they have updated us to queen suite.

• Mike (10/5): Easy check-in. Ground floor apartment was easily accessible. Convenient on-site laundry facilities - Our family apartment was adequate for five of us. Wayfarer Motel is centrally located to within walking distance to shops in town, and a short drive to the grocery store. It's also on the main route north to Cape Reinga and west to Ahipara. The pool was crystal clear and a pleasure to cool off after a day at the beach. We didn't manage to make use of the spa but used the laundry regularly. Some of our neighbours were noisy after sundown.

The rooms looked nothing like the photos and everything was old and outdated. The spa was not working and had to ask for clean towels because the room was not cleaned on second day Nothing like the photos. The oven was really old and did not want to use the oven tray as it was also old and not clean
