- Anthony Dominick (6/5): - This is our first time booking a stay at this type of apartment hotels and therefore a lot of things to get adjusted for. First of all, no 24 hour front desk checkin, as the office closes at 4 pm. Luckily we arrived before that time. Our room was a one bedroom with a kitchen that’s equipped with a dishwasher, oven, full size fridge and microwave. Cooking and dining utensils are included as well. No washer/dryer in the room though. Just 2 shared combo units (with detergent provided)in a laundry room inside the office on the entry level. A slight inconvenience but better than nothing. Guests would need to use a specific code to enter the building during off-hours. The apartment is also close to a major neighborhood mercato and a few supermarket if you need to buy groceries or prepared food. A big bonus.
- Benjamin (10/5): - Loved the location just north of The Vatican. Shopping was nearby. The subway was 2 blocks away for easy travel to access the city. There could have been better instructions on how to use the washing machine, or how to dry only. Better yet, a separate washer and dryer would have been more useful for multiple loads or sharing with other tenants. Communication from the staff was excellent, both by phone and in person.

They gave us one coke, one sprite, 1 liter spakling water, amazing chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of white wine. The washer/dryer helped us a lot since we were leaving on a cruise after this stay. You can walk to the metro or bus stop. We did both! Vacatican city is 9 minute walk! I would come back here in a heart bit. I would recommend this to anyone. Service was amazing and location was the best! The AC was amazing. The weather was 96°.

The staff is amazing but the place was spacious, comfortable, clean, walkable to many places in Rome and super close to the Vatican. And the price point was perfect. Exceptional stay. We had been through hell upon our arrival in Rome. Our original VRBO never provided the codes and then we moved to a horrendous hotel and finally could not take staying in hotel and found Vino e Oli. I just wish I booked this place originally. 3 is definitely a charm!!!! Thank you for everything!

AC is very good in the apartment as we are here in August. Location is very convenient, 5 mins walk to the Vatican and many bus stops within 2 blocks that will take you all over Rome. During our stay the near by subway is under renovation but the city has shuttle buses that runs on the subway line that’s being renovated, the buses runs very frequent like every 2 mins. Overall it was a great place to stay for our Rome trip family of 4.

The location is prime as it is walking distance from Vatican City (10 min) and it has every dinning option you can think of, multiple markets the Metro is like 5 min away. The location was close to everything- just blocks away from the Vatican and an easy walk to the Metro station. The neighborhood was lovely and very quiet. The staff was very helpful- they helped arrange transportation from the airport and were able to get us in a bit early to our room, which we appreciated after a long flight. I would definitely stay here again!

- Steingrímur Dúi (10/5): Beautiful apartment but not perfect - I am giving good rating because the owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly and sweet and the apartment was beautiful. But some things were not working like the airflow system and some equipment did not work in the apartment and to add to that the apartment next door was being renovated so there was loud activity every morning which interrupted my sleep. I think that if the owner does better maintenance on the apartments this would be a fabulous perfect place to stay. The location and the neighboarhood was very nice, rather quiet beautiful street very close to endless shops and restaurants and the building itself is very beautyful and safe.

- Shiraz (2/5): - Run down building, very noisy neighbourhood, toilet did not flush , technicians tried for half a day but still didn’t work, air condition had the same issue Repairs in the building made it difficult to rest. Street noise and from the tenants was continuous.This building is not ready for a let out and should be taken off the market for a while before the facilities are upgraded. The girl doing the administrative work was excellent and we hesitated checking out before our time because of her . Otherwise there was nobody to help. No one after 6pm to assist us and we needed a doctor. The facilities need to be cleaned up thoroughly. Two people come in for 6 to 7 minutes, make the bed,wipe the bathroom and kitchen. Spray strong chemicals.Not vacuumed in months. Just took out the garbage. The price they charged us is not worth it at all. Construction work next door starts at 8am and the banging goes on all day. Never again for u they should refund a portion of the payment to us as it is not even a one star place to stay.

Perfect detailed directions sent to my email a few days before. LOVE the ability to do laundry for free!!! Was able to pack our bags for trip home with clean clothes- one less thing to do when I return home jet lagged. We will recommend to everyone we know!

I loved this beautiful city!

- Vikas (8/5): Good location, great staff, walkable to Vatican - We stayed there for 5 nights with a young child. Hotel location: Vatican city is 10-12 minutes walkable from this location. For every other Rome's attraction, you may need to take a taxi unless ready to walk more than 3 kms. The local taxi service in general is OK (not great). Uber doesn't work. For finding taxi, may have to walk 5-10 minutes depending upon how busy time it is. Food places: There are plenty of food places (breakfast, lunch / dinner bistros etc) very near to this place - less than 5 minutes walk. Staff & communication - absolutely great staff. They start sending important info via email and whatapp which is very convenient. The staff member(s) are available at property during business hours and for rest of time still accessible via whatsapp & text messages. Room: Our room was a mini suite with kitchenette, small living room and small / partitioned bedoom area. The bathroom is where my issue is. The bathtub was old fashioned and not very comfortable to take shower. The faucet system takes time to adjust the mix of hot and cold water to desired level. The bathroom surely can be fixed for better spacing. Laundry: We used laundry machine at no additional cost available at reception area with clothes drying rack. The dryer is not like a US dryer where clothes come out completely dried. Just something to note. Overall our stay at this place was good. Hotel staff helped to book taxi for us for two separate occasions which was very helpful. :) .

- Rebecca (8/5): - Prati is a great, walkable safe neighborhood with lots of good restaurants, close enough Vatican, metro. Giorgia, one of the managers, is a highlight; her restaurant and metro/direction recommendations were much appreciated. This residence could’ve been improved with better tv stations; replacing old beat up ‘rental’ furniture except the bed was very good and firm. It was noisier than I expected with screaming kids upstairs and construction and a huge dumpster right outside our window. All in all-still a better solution than a hotel or B and B. You’re paying a lot for location here. They should just either Change the advertised photos or update the stained furniture.

- Mark (10/5): - First off, the communication was great before we ever got to the apartment. We knew we would be arriving in Rome early in the morning, and made arrangements to drop our luggage and change. Even better, our room was available when we arrived! The Prati area is a little further away from most tourist sites, but still very walkable. The apartment was just as described…a nice sitting area and kitchenette along with separate bedroom and bathroom. The street was busier than we expected, but we still enjoyed opening the windows in the evening and letting in a nice breeze. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Rome!!

There are many good restaurants nearby as well. The suite itself was lovely. We were a family of 4 and we were very comfortable and loved the air conditioning. The communication with the receptionist was great. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone and will definitely come back.

One suggestion: Provide a card for your guests that they can show to taxi drivers to get to the address. We had some spotty results even using Italian speakers to get taxi drivers (possibly lazy or unscrupulous) to get to the correct location.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place, thanks to everyone there. - My first time in Rome. We booked Deluxe one bedroom apartment. Spacious, clean,fully equipped kitchen and super comfortable bed. Loved the mixed of new & old decor. Location of this place is everything as described and more, super convenient. You can walk to just about all the attractions and we did. Lots of restaurants, shopping and bakeries nearby. Metro station (line A : Ottaviano) is just a short walk away. If you coming from FCO airport,take the train to Rome termini (Rome central station), then switch to metro Line A towards Batitstini, get off at Ottaviano. Both Federico and Giovanni Battista were wonderful, from the moment we booked. They were warm, friendly, respectful, helpful and kind. I busted a wheel on my suitcase, not only they found a repair shop, they got it replaced for me! Unbelievable genuinely nice! Will definitely stay here, if we are in Rome again.

Please note that Expedia details give the impression that this is a hotel type setup with a continually manned reception throughout most hours of the day. This is NOT the case. It is one of those places where you need to self serve to get into the building via a keypad code and then open a safe to get your room keys. You of course need to receive this information before turning up at the venue. This is not explained when booking. We turned up to a locked front door with reception not answering when we rang the bell after a 19 hour journey from Australia. We found this rather stressful and bewildering, things got sorted out in the end but the process need to be made clear on Expedia.

Near lots of bakeries and restaurants. It’s a short walk to the Vatican so it is very good for people who book early entry tickets and tours which I would highly recommend. We were able to view the Sistine chapel with very few people. GB the manager is great - highly responsive and a very nice guy.
- Vivian (10/5): - The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. The manager was very friendly and responsive. We were initially gave 2x1 bedrooms apartments as an upgrades. But 1 of them had some flying insect issue, the manager was able to quickly switched us to the 2 bedrooms apartment and helped us moving the luggages at 8pm on the arriving day. The apartment Is walking distance to Vatican City but will require taxi to go to the other attractions. There is a metro station close by but unfortunately many of the stations were closed for maintenance work during our visit.
