- Joel (10/5): - Convinience
- lemonblonde (8/5): Reasonable good - Very nice place to rest your head however confusing about complementary drinks
Asked at reception and terrace bar which drinks are complementary told twice the all on menu
First night no soft drinks available or spirits
Third night all available
But š
I was presented with a bill when questioned was told only juices and soft drinks are complementary
Bill 550 pesos for what was a triple size,on ice that was separate, was happy to pay anyways š

The ambiance is sophisticated yet cozy, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. I especially loved the guided history tour of the hotel, which deepened my appreciation for its rich heritage. Highly recommended for history buffs and luxury travelers alike!

- mariejoyp2025 (10/5): My experience in palm grass hotel - Dining at Hotel Palm Grass is an experience that complements the overall charm of the hotel. Their restaurant offers a delightful mix of local and international cuisine, showcasing authentic Cebuano flavors with a modern twist. One of my favourite food in palm grass hotel is their best seller which is the Humba ni maxilom and Sea food pasta. Aside from that the ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The service is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring you have everything you need. Whether youāre enjoying a hearty breakfast or a relaxing dinner, the restaurant provides a comfortable setting for a memorable dining experience.

The hotelās blend of heritage and modern design gave the space a unique and inviting atmosphere. - nicoletF9593PO (10/5): Relaxing Place - There rooms is very comfortable and affordable price. And also their staff is very friendly and approachable. In bar is nice view and relaxing place. I recommend this hotel. Also their food is very delicious and their drinks very affordable prices.
- Tour67859609421 (10/5): We had a wonderful experience in their bar - We had a birthday celebration of one of my friends in hardin dagami and it was all worth it coz they had free karaoke and their food is very delicious and satisfying. We avail their tower drinks and the taste was just right. Their staff was very accommodating.
- arcamom (10/5): Fun experience - I would like to share my experience in this hotel aside from its accommodation that is very clean and cozy which give us a relaxing stay I also like to share about the event they always held above 7th floor which they call Hardin Dagami, It was fun having drinks and food with a nice view also a fun host that keep us entertain
- Patrick (10/5): Enjoyable hotel stay - I chose this hotel for its location. It is within walking distance of the places where I wanted to visit.
There is a bit of wear and tear in the hotel but it is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Also I found the food in the restaurant to be great and reasonably priced.
I had a very early checkout and the kitchen staff prepared me some food to go as I would miss the breakfast service.
I would definitely stay here again if I am in Cebu City.
- Michelle (8/5): - Aircon is slow cold and window is broken
- Orazio Ezio (8/5): - The property is located near the santo nino Church lots of shops very friendly staff and service good and clean rooms. Thanks to Zoe well done!
- Jarrett (10/5): - Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and right in the downtown
- Alan (2/5): Horrible experience - The room was horrible. Toilets did not flush, shower was clogged, bed was old and uncomfortable, the room was dark, very small window. No outside food is allowed in the hotel, this means no Grab orders or takeout allowed in your room. I would recommend staying somewhere else. The pictures on Hotels.com are not accurate at all.
- Joel (10/5): - Excellent
- Brian (8/5): - .
- Terrence (10/5): - View and location
- Owen (8/5): - Excellent location if you want to be close to site-seeing and night life.
- Michael (10/5): - Clean and friendly staff.
- Cory S (4/5): - I will stay there again
- Neil (2/5): Nice ameinites. Way too noisy. - Nice rooftop bar. Room was fine, just a few roaches. Wifi speed is awful could hardly load a page. Worst thing was the noise other guest were making in the corridors ... ruined my stay.
- Andrew (6/5): Three night stay - Enjoyable stay as alwaysā¦..clean comfortable modern roomsā¦..friendly staff and lovely roof top Resto bar with music.
- Melissa (8/5): - Adequate
- Joel (10/5): - Heritage hotel
- Daniel (2/5): - An AWFUL two nights we stayed. My boyfriend and I live in Bohol (neighboring small island), and came for a ādateā weekend to do some shopping and have a nice dinner. I have stayed here before and always found it adequate for PH.
There was no hot water the entire time, and we told them about it twice, but they never did anything about it. There was also ZERO WiFi in the suite. And, yes, I booked the ānicestā suite they had for the weekend.
Lastly, our ferry did not get in until near midnight, so we checked in very late. They called our room at 9am and woke us up to tell us that the breakfast would be ending soon. While in theory this is nice, the staff has no way of knowing our sleep schedule, and I was very irritated that they woke us up.
I will not be staying again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel needs a lot of TLC. Beds are hard as rocks. Staff was amazing though. Food was okay. You get what you pay for. Location was not the best but close to the walking street.
- Lim Geok (2/5): - Expedia it is your fault never truely described the surrounding. And never have the actual latest building exterior photo glass panels. Timber steps on roof top almost giving way.
Expedia your selection of hotels to customer is terribleš¤š”
- Kthryn (6/5): - The hotel is located in the centre of the city, itās busy and loud with lots of things happening. It was too crowded to take our infant son out to explore at night. We opted for to eat at the hotel.
- Alexander (8/5): Great location. - Great location. Right next to night market and all major stores and restaurants. Accommodating staff. Easy check-in/out process.
- Jeremy (6/5): - .
- lourie joy (6/5): - Average/ okay lang naman.
- 53glent (8/5): It was an spectacular experience. - Not much display and at least they highlighted some of the important antiquities. People are also entertaining by just putting their efforts and smiles. There was Moderator and it was quite fascinating how she highlighted the history.
- Shaun (8/5): Nice place to stay - Nice place to stay close to everything very clean and comfortable would definitely go back
- Quevyn (10/5): Houses local historical creations! - From the anting-anting, unique bench with a compartment underneath, tinikling bamboo poles, hand-made accessories, and adult toys the locals were into back in the day, they've got it! The old locals were certainly creative and wild! The place simply screams Cebu pride!
- Verified traveler (6/5): good location - the bathroom needs better maintenance as it seem like the toilet paper has gathers lots of dust but it is good location to shopping mall & ferry terminal to bohol
- Kirsty (4/5): Only book if you're a very deep sleeper! - The room was ok, quite spacious but the bed was not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was very old-looking with the toilet seat hanging off and rust around hinges etc.
However, the big issue was that we could not sleep. There is a karaoke bar on the rooftop and the karaoke went on until 2am! Our room was nowhere near the rooftop yet we could hear every word being sung. When you book a hotel room, you want to sleep- if we wanted to go to a karaoke bar, we would do. We love going out and enjoy karaoke but not at 2am in a hotel. I called reception at 1am trying to ask if they knew where the noise was coming from and they said they'd ask them to turn the music down but that definitely didn't happen.
- Nicefora (8/5): - Thereās some baby roaches in the bathroom and where the tea pot was locatedā¦thereās no hot water most of the timeā¦. Lots of mildew around the shower wallsā¦
- Rosie (6/5): - I kind of regretted booking at this hotel. They only provided 2 bath towels, not even a towel to dry your feet. And the shower stall is so disappointing old. This hotel is poorly maintained. The free breakfast is fine. The staffs are great though, courteous and respectfulā¦
- KHEE YONG (6/5): - the room is dirty and smelly. Cockroach running around the room. Maybe this is a old building, But good to do some cleaning. Staff are kind and helpful. They did not make up my room on the second day.
- David (8/5): Okay for the money - Water never really got hot. Staff is Awesome. Not too bad a price for the money and was centrally located.
- Michael (10/5): - Our stay is all good
- Meindert (10/5): - Well maintained hotel with a positive vibe towards the cultural heritage of Cebu. Good food in their restaurant.
- edwardanthonyn (8/5): Sure gonna be back - First, the staff is great, respectful, and courteous.
The room was great, clean, and relaxing.
Free wifi and also free breakfast.. Food was great, it was delicious. The coffee was ok. But I suggest finding another brand.. But other than that everything was great. Highly recommended, for a night it was amazing..
I'll be staying here every time I go to Cebu.
- Cindy Grace (6/5): could have been worse - Booked at this hotel because my flight was canceled due to the typhoon. No electricity all over Cebu and this was one of the few hotels that had a working generator. The staff was very accommodating, but considering the influx of people they were a bit overwhelmed in handling customer queries
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent staff and place
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Found out that this place has a spy cameras in a certain floor. Just be cautious. I experience it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): great ambience and comfortable rooms - the ambience of the room is comfy, however everything else is a bit expensive, from room service fee, corkage, etc. you have to buy everything from them, you can't bring any food outside from their restaurant, the place is situated in the heart of the City, but its besides a memorial center, everything else is okay
- Prez_Canada (10/5): Lovely surprise - This hotel should be rated higher. The rooms are lovely and the rooftop bar is amazing. we stayed here three nights and only found out about the rooftop bar on the last night. The breakfast included was good and the overall experience was very good. For the price we paid I don't believe we could of been happier.
- N36MBpaulm (4/5): Poor value and customer service - Stayed here one night. Wanted 2000 peso deposit for consumables. Didn't have cash and could pay card but wouldn't get money back on it from them for 1-2 months!!??
Mini bar was poor, lucky if 500 pesos worth of stuff there anyway.
Only given 1 sachet of coffee and 2 sugars, no creamer at all for 2 people. Asked about this and was told that's all you get!
Fridge had tray full of water in it.
Breakfast was minimal, but tasty.
Had some karaoke on till 2am so bring earplugs or better still find somewhere else
- Scott (10/5): - The room was a little small but very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.
- alisonm846 (4/5): Not that good - The bedroom was clean and the staff nice. There was no hot water and no pressure in the shower. Shower didnāt look clean to us
Aircon is directly blowing air to your face while sleeping and you canāt set it up another way
- DanInWaterloo (6/5): Great staff, ok hotel. - The positives: exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great local design element and nice views from the bar and pool area upstairs.
The negatives: rooms are unique but aging, quite noisy on upper floor given proximity to bar, and no hot water when we stayed.
The area the hotel is located in is gritty but there's a good cafe next door and Colon Street has everything you need.
- Verified traveler (8/5): My stay at Palm Grass Hotel - Over-all my stay was good. Checked in and out was quick. The room was a bit small but the bed was great. Staff were very respectful, pleasant, and always smiling. Kudos to them. Food was good considering itās a 3 star hotel. Will stay again. Thank you.
- Kyrie (6/5): - The room i booked is for 4 people, the room is tiny for 4 and they will give you extra mattress that fits 1 person. The room is not child friendly , a small kid can reach the locks of the door (even the on the top) The bathroom is not child friendly either ( even for adults you should be extra careful specially after shower/bath) the bath tub is too high to hop in, you will have to squeeze in yourself on the very side of the tub to be able to get in cause there is this glass partition covering almost most part of the tub. cleaning is not consistent. Sometimes they just change the towels and wont mind throwing empty plastics.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location close to most attractions in Cebu and to the ferry port. Clean room and generous breakfast offering.
- bvrntravellife (8/5): Nice room for the price - Stayed here for three nights, room was nice and clean. My only issue was there was no hot water. Being from the states, we like taking hot showers. For that reason I gave the hotel 4 stars. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great find for the price.
- lawintech (8/5): Serves the Purpose - We have to visit the wake of a close relative and need a place to rest just in case, particularly the children. The property is just a short walk from the place. It also lends a taste of historical heritage. Friendly staff, clean facilities and near public transport.
- daviddH4042HM (8/5): Simple Hotel at the City Center - Palm Grass Hotel is not your typical 5 star hotel. But it has unique advantages. 1) You are right smack (walking distance) to the major sights like the Magellan cross. 2) You are quite near the shopping malls of the Colon (old district) area. 3) Friendly staff and a good room. 4) Cool bar at the 7th floor to catch a few beers.
Surrounding area is kinda rough, but the hotel restaurant is okay to stay and have a meal or beer.
My choice of hotel was because it was near the event place i had to go to on this business trip. Only 4.1 kms from SM Seaside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and good service
- Justin (10/5): - Great service and staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were all around awsome defenently worth the money, only downside was the hot water barley running, but everything else was awsome and rooms were all around very clean and neat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel check in was fast and easy the reception staff were friendly and efficient with excellent customer service the welcome drink was an unexpected suprice my cases taken to room. By the porter who showed me how to work the the TV and air con the room was spotless... Quality bedding comfy bed and quality pillows. Hot water for shower. Good quality toiletrys. Nice touch from reception a call to see if everything OK and I was settled in OK the meals were excellent. Hot and tastey all the staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very nice hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall a relatively upgrade hotel near the city centre (just a little bit of walk from the port area)
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff was courteous and helpful, great selection of delicious foods and desserts at the on-site restaurant, and location was close to many stores/shops and attractions (some walkable). The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The hotel provided many amenities and toiletries. We would definitely stay here again!
- Sophia (8/5): Value Hotel - Fantastic value hotel. The hot water was a bit of an issue and while the bathroom floors were clean, white tile doesnāt age well. However the staff is courteous and service was very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very comfortable room. Nice amenities. Very helpful desk staff. I made a mistake in my booking dates and they worked with Expedia to add an additional night.
- Mark (6/5): - The room itself was okay. The big thing that I didn't like was that you had to put your room keycard into a little holder on the wall, to turn on the power to the room. While I'm sure it was designed to save them on electricity by making sure that you turned off everything when you left the room, it doesn't take into consideration that one or more people may decide to stay in the room. And no, leaving the keycard in the room wasn't an option, because you had to swipe it in the elevator in order to select your floor. Additionally, it took a while to get hot water for the shower, the hallways were to hot and the only drink that came with the breakfast was coffee. That's okay if you're a coffee drinker, but for me and my kids, we had to pay extra for other drinks.
- Stephen (8/5): Stop over - On e night only as convenient for ferry terminal
location in downtown Cebu City the area is not great but the hotel stands out
- Stephen (8/5): Downtown city location - Convenient for ferry terminal and Santo Nino, and a much nicer place than the surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful
