• enrico (8/5): Un buon soggiorno ai tropici. - Struttura molto ampia e bella, tipico resort ai Tropici, personale gentilissimo e pronto ad aiutare. Ristorante ottimo e relativamente economico. In fase successiva alla prenotazione non sono riuscito a parlare con nessuno della struttura, richieste, chiarimenti. Mail e messaggi inutili. Pazienza. La spiaggia del villaggio era inutile, e lo sapevo, poco più di un porticciolo per natanti, piena di alghe, ma bastavano pochi minuti di auto o di navetta gratuita per raggiungere le più belle spiagge tropicali.
• BUES (8/5): NO Landshark at this Margaritaville - Breakfast was really good along with the seafood soup (Great) and appetizers were excellent with prices very comparable to our South Florida home. Pool area is beautiful and spacious. We liked the location. Easy access to the Red Hook ferry or short ride downtown. Being stuck in a room up on the hill, at the mercy of the intermittent phone system for a ride most anywhere on property. It sure would have been nice if there was a spa on site for a simple couples massage.The swim up pool bar must be up at the hilltop pool. My number one complaint, NO Landshark!!! At a Margaritaville?? in 2026? No joke!

Pools are just ok. There is virtually no beach which was deceiving from the website... it's filled with seaweed so it's unusable and the water isn't clear

• TRAVIS (8/5): Great St Thomas VI Margaritaville Stay - Great stay. Fast and easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and well kept resort. Rooms clean and well kept with balcony of bay strip. Lots of Restaurants and bars on site. Several pools to chose from. Several beaches within 5 mins drive. Airport 20-25 mins away depending on traffic. Grocery store/convenient store 1 min drive/5 min walk. Night clubs and restaurants nearby. Great location as everything you need is in walking distance. Food at restaurants was solid. The drinks made by bartenders were pretty strong. Parking was free. Golf carts ran most of all day so easy to get picked up and dropped off on the resort. A/C ran well with no issues. Hot water for showers remained consistent. Rooms were stocked with necessary amenities. Great stay. Enjoyed the resort. Would definitely stay again!! There was not much I didn't like. Check-in lobby was a bit hot but I wasn't in there long enough to make the stay a dub. Mosquitoes were crazy wild outside at night so bring your OFF spray lol. My legs and arms still in agony from the bites lol. The A/C was cold when it ran but it stayed off for long periods of time making it warm and uncomfortable for some stretches at night. Other than that, overall was a great stay.
• Jason (3/5): My day was OK, but I’m really hurt please assist me. I’m in rough shape. - I need to complete an accident report I slipped near to the restaurant. I was in shock when employees smothered me with questions. I was very uncomfortable and just wanted to sit somewhere then general manager came over and asked me and I just wanted to be left alone for a minute and yes, I should’ve filled out an accident report and I am in such pain. I can’t even walk so we have to talk and see what your establishment can do for me. Please call me back general manager at 607-242-5822. Talk to you soon. Email me the accident report and date please I gotta get an MRI thank you. Everything was just ok. I got hurt and got smothered 607-242-5822. Please give me a return number so my attorney can figure out how to get paid for my MRI.
• Marcelo (1/5): Terrible smell all over hotel and sargassum terribly managed. - Dirty hall, employees with angry faces, at checkin nobody informed that there are no room cleaning even for 3 nights. The beach is awfull, sargassum and bad smell all over the hotel. Employees were just pailing up more and more sargassum at the beach over and over, leaving a terrible smell all over, pools, restaurants, bar, everywhere. I would never recommend it.

• lisamartoneg (8/5): Friendly people - Stayed here for four days and for the most part it was a good stay. The people who work there are hard workers but definitely ran on island time. Daily cleaning off the beach of seaweed.. that’s just part of the Caribbean really can’t be stopped. I would definitely stay here again. I had a great view of the ocean although when we originally got there we had to change rooms because the one they put us in was kind of outdated. Coki beach is a must and they have a shuttle.

• Adams (3/5): Never again - The restaurant is not bad on site The staff is very rude, something I saw on the entire island. We had to switch rooms because the rooms smelt like pure mold. We asked for room service and they told us it would be a charge of $135. Overall, it was not worth what we spent at all

Other guests had experienced the same issue and were letting me know. It looked like the fitted sheet on the bed had not been changed out, they had wrinkles were someone may have been on the sheets already.

They claimed the beach is public and they have no responsibility...really sad. A guy named Dijon was the one I think is bringing robbers to the beach because he claims they have no responsibility...

• Kimmishoe (10/5): Had a great vacation! - We absolutely loved our stay at Margaritaville Vacation Club in St. Thomas! The grounds are beautiful and the whole resort has such a fun, relaxing vibe. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the golf cart drivers were always so fun and quick to get us around the property — we never had to wait long for a ride. Also, don’t miss the buy-one-get-one drinks during happy hour… they are a must! We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back again.

• E2259WFscotth (2/5): Not a 4 star hotel. Bad service. - We were told this was a 4 star hotel. After the first day the room was not cleaned no fresh towels. When we called the front desk they informed us there is no house keeping. Only upon request. They dropped off a bag of towels. We requested the room to be cleaned on day 4 but were told no. They do not provide that service. We would not have booked here if we had known. The restaurant service is horrible. No wonder you automatically add a service fee of 18%. Otherwise there would no tips. We went next door Sun and Sea for meals. Thank goodness they are at the resort next door. The concierge tried to charge us $80 to go to Redhook. She must have a deal with a taxi because the taxi out front said it is $8 per person. The desk staff is rude. Then they tried to sell me a timeshare. I didnt come for a sales pitch. I came for vacation. Which did not live up to expectations. Would not recommend staying here ever.
• I7106VOdawnr (6/5): Lovely grounds. Disappointed in everything else. - I was really underwhelmed with this hotel. Pros- The grounds were very nicely maintained and it was direct waterfront. The pools were very nice, but seemed to lack adequate seating. (As usual, people came out early and claimed chairs with towels so nothing was left by 10:00. Lounge chairs sat empty, except for towels, for hours.) Restaurant was decent and coffee was good. The rooms looked a little dated, but were very clean and spacious. Coki Beach is a short walk away, but was uber crowded with cruise ship passengers. There is a shuttle service available if you prefer to not walk. Cons -We paid around $800/night. I expected a little more. There was only one restaurant and one little mart style store that sold a few things, but no groceries. In room, there was a coffee maker, but you were only given one package of coffee and a few packs off sugar, but no cream. There is no room service for a four night stay so coffee was never refilled. Coffee/cream/sugar were not sold at the on-site store. Twice I had to take a tepid/cold shower because there was no hot water. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, so we had to use some of out towels to sop it up which was a pain since out towels were never going to be replaced since----no room service! It was obvious that this was an ongoing issue as the drywall looked like it had been wet multiple times and then painted over. Bathroom fan was LOUD and never turned off. We had to keep bathroom door closed to prevent lose of AC. There were 73 steps up and then another 13 steps down to our room which really wasn't that big of a deal. They do have golf cart service to rooms if you want to wait for them. Hotel was not near much of anything and you would need to taxi everywhere you go.

• bah440 (10/5): Beautiful resort, great hillside pool! - My husband and I went in February. We did receive a notification regarding the sargassum. The beach was cleaned up and there was no odor. Our room was beautiful with a great view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If we needed anything, it was taken care of quickly. The accommodations were clean and well supplied! We had a great experience here!
• kenyac2026 (2/5): Awful place - This place was horrible! I booked a 2 bdrm 4 beds and a sofa bed for 8 people. I arrived and there were only 2 beds. I spoke with the front desk and manager they were no help at all. My guests had to sleep on the floor. I even asked for another small room they claimed the couldn’t help. I paid over $700 for my guests to sleep on the floor. The bathroom was moldy and the room had an awful smell.. people don’t waste your time or money. Go to other resorts than that
• kateg485 (8/5): Would stay there again! - Rooms were clean and the staff was fantastic! The grounds were beautiful, and even though we received several texts warning about a smell on the beach, we didn’t notice anything at all. The infinity pool and pool bar were a blast. We chose not to eat on-site due to past food reviews, but we did enjoy the drinks — every bartender we met was excellent, and the happy hour specials were great. The only downside was that the shower leaked, so we had to use extra towels to soak up the water. One thing we really appreciated: unlike other vacation clubs, we weren’t pressured or hassled to attend a sales presentation. Good location with easy access to taxi's and Red Hook.
• Sunshine14883492411 (10/5): Location and relaxation - First time staying at this resort. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Xenia at check in was the best. She made sure we were knowledgeable about everything that the resort offered. Eric was our ride to and from our building most of the days of our stay. He was also great and gave us the lay out of places to visit on the island. Overall we had a wonderful time at this Margaritaville location. Would definitely stay again at this location when visiting St. Thomas.

• melanieaU6880AE (2/5): Bedbugs! - My husband and I came back with 20+ bedbug bites and didn’t feel them until we got to the airport after checking out. Now they aren’t willing to help me due to “not flagging to the front desk before leaving” (despite bed bugs typically biting every 3-10 days with bites showing up later). If the hotel isn’t willing to help me, I doubt they are checking the areas and cleaning appropriately. Shame. Will not come back.
• bensonz52 (8/5): Comfortable week - Spent a week at Margaritaville. Our studio was comfortable and well equipped. Pools are well maintained and not crowded when we were there. The beach on site is kept clean but the water has a lot of seaweed and is rather turbid. The resort provides a free shuttle to Saphirre Beach and Coki beach, both of which are nice, with beach chairs for rent, food, restrooms. Coki beach has decent snorkeling at one end of the beach. Can also walk to Coki beach, about 15 min. from the resort. There is a restaurant on site and bars at both pools. The restaurant food is rather plain but tasted fine. The restaurant service was very disorganized and uneven. The only other drawback is for the units on the hill, there are long stairways to get down ( or up) to the pools, restaurant, and beach. The resort uses golf carts for shuttles but you often wait a long time for one to come by. Several good restaurants on this side of the island, in Red Hook or between the resort and Red Hook.
• C2097GCshannonc (2/5): The worst and last stay - We were lied to about our stay. No one would help us when we called for assistance and it cost us over $150 extra for our stay. We called several times and were treated very poorly when we asked for help. We will never stay at a vacation club again. We are long time Marriott Bonvoy members, and we now know why.
• E4486VNdenisea (2/5): Poor customer service - I was unable to travel to Margaritaville St. Thomas due to a documented weather emergency that resulted in airline flight cancellations. Despite this being completely outside of my control, I was offered no reasonable accommodation or flexibility. I expected better guest consideration under these circumstances. This experience has been disappointing, and I have escalated the matter publicly for resolution.
• Doreen (4/5): - The upper pool was fun. View was fabulous, staff friendly, staff at Margaritaville restaurant were friendly, Woman at swim up bar was friendly and helpful. Concierge was only trying to get us to sign up for a sales pitch to purchase time share. Things that would have enhanced our stay were not mentioned such as Location of Village square coffee shop (although milk should be sold there so I could make in my room). We didn't know the upper pool was as nice as it was until our 2nd day. We were told it was an indoor pool. Should be signs that food could be ordered between 1 & 2 so people know. Beach was smelly with seaweed and unusable, we could have easily walked to Coki Beach (although it didn't impress us) via the beach but only learned about it walking home - waited 20 minutes for shuttle to go to Beach. Had a major issue with woman from Kelly's taxi when we had to go home. We had ordered a ride and she chased him away the morning of our departure. She was rude and I was very upset by her lack of professionalism.

• Julia (7/5): Nice rooms and views. Not much of a beach. Must travel by taxi to get anywhere. - manager Curtis helped to resolve an issue of moving to another room due to a leak. Booking.com did not resolve an issue with the property of billing the entire amount at booking time instead of a night's stay as a deposit. Staff were friendly, although we received different answers to the same question from different staff members. Musty smell in first room (leak in pipe discovered night 2). We did not get a night's stay reimbursed but did receive 1/2 in a refund and a small restaurant voucher.

The bartender was rude a white brown long hat girl at night. The nachos came Burt and tasted horrible wasted $35 didn’t have time to discuss with her as her attitude was unpleasant to start and they were closing.

• georgehA7829MA (4/5): Not very family friendly - On our recent stay at this resort from the 17 through the 21st we had a mediocre stay. With that said our review is geared towards a family stay with 3 small children. On arrival the resort looked very nice and once we checked in the problem began. We came by rental car which was nice but does you no good on this resort. To further explain on this there is no close parking to your hotel room or condo. You have to usually park to one area of the resort and either walk a long way to your room up a significant amount of stairs with a baby in arms is not fun especially at the end of the night . Calling a golf cart sounds easy but it can be an act of god sometimes to get a golf cart because you and everyone else on site need the same services. My self and multiple families would find ourselves waiting for a long period of time and then just grabbing our bags, groceries, and children and trekking our way to our room. Limited amount of things to do onsite for kids. The beach was nonexistent which was sad, the room didn’t have much choices for kids television other then the Disney and Nickelodeon which wasn’t a huge deal just minor. The bathroom doors do not lock which anyone with kids knows that’s a recipe for disaster when you have small children. The room had small mold spots throughout bathroom and ceiling in bedroom. The coffee bar and restaurant was very limited which was sad. The coffee bar for us was all the way on the other side of the resort. The coffee bar for 2 of the days we stayed on site had a limited menu of about 4 flavors of coffee. Once we asked for clarification on what the flavors were again they seemed bothered by our question. Frustrating because there was a list of coffees on the chalkboard but none of the 86 flavors were crossed off. The final part to this is anytime I would gather some supplies from the coffee store which was like a mini market I would then have to trek all my stuff back to the room, because a golf cart was hard to find and get. Carrying multiple coffees without carrier and bag in hand can be fun lol. The resort was well kept from the green space. The pool was very nice which is where we spent alot of time. Overall a low score from our standpoint.

• 691leannr (10/5): Amazing with wonderful service!! - Wonderful service!! AC went out in room we booked. And they gave us 3 rooms with working ACs along with food vouchers for each person in our party. Also are very eco friendly with great information. Large comfortable rooms.
• N4806XUvc (2/5): Roaches - Roaches, beware. Old and outdated rooms with roaches. Mud pit right outside the lobby (towards six string stage) multiple people got stuck in. Blinds didn't work, no soap or conditioner on check in, missing remotes, dirty. Good activities overall but a very disappointing experience for the price. There are better places without roaches.

• wthdik (2/5): Would never come back. - Don't go to Magen bay, not the greatest, if you're looking for crystal clear blue water forget this place. They charge 20 dollars for one lounge chair. Very poor island be prepared to spend a lot of money.only cheap way to get around is a car rental.This is it an advertisement for AARP but if you have it, it will cost have of the regular price.

• 89debraq (2/5): DONT DO IT!!!!!! - The resort pictures online are nothing like the resort there is absolutely no beach. There’s caution tape everywhere of the last hurricane that destroyed it. Can you imagine going to your vacation and not having the beach that you pictured or you can’t even walk it!! Thank God, I only stayed there one night waiting for our other hotel for the week. If I had to stay there for another day, I would’ve left and found another hotel. I also ordered appetizers from the only restaurant and bar there and they told me I need to come get it myself and they will bring a cowbell. We waited almost an hour for our food that was sitting at the bar when I walked up, he was on his phone. They automatically charge you 18% gratuities so I work so hard. I’d have to say the front desk girls are absolutely friendly wonderful and they deserve a kudos. Jimmy Buffett would be so ashamed. God rest his soul. The two pools are really nice though. The infinity pool on the upper top of the mountain we took a shuttle. We stayed there till dark. We couldn’t get back even after calling the hotel three times they finally picked us up after an hour. When I mentioned my complaints to the manager on check out, she blamed it on Expedia go figure third-party not our fault. Just had to do a shout out to people that think they’re going to get a great vacation and they’re not!!!!!!
• Tiara (10/5): Wonderful time definitely will be back to this hotel! - So many activities to do at the resort and all staff members were helpful and made you feel like you were home! That there wasn’t really a beach to relax on but the hotel will take you to a near by beach that was beautiful for free.
• Carmen (7/5): - The location is good, The suite was spacious and well appointed. Golf carts were readily available to transport people around the large, hilly resort. Excellent concierge service. Front desk was very polite. No hot water in the evening. We took cold showers the three nights we were there. We booked with a third-party who charged us, but did not immediately pay the hotel. We were charged again at the hotel and told by Margaritaville that it was our responsibility to seek reimbursement. I think if the resort is going to allow third-party booking sites, they should have been more proactive in helping us. We were able to secure reimbursement from the third party but without any help from Margaritaville staff.

• Kevin (10/5): - The hill pool was great. The Margaritaville restaurant was the only choice other than coffee shop on property and it was devoid of local options. The menu is great for US but not why I came to St. Thomas. There were some fantastic local food at Cochi beach that was walkable distance.

Restaurant staff my first night was horrible and food was nothing to write home about. 2nd time I went to the restaurant same waiter and he was much better but food still not great. My room was in building 14 and the climb was more than I could handle at the end of the day. Several times my family waited for 20+ minutes for a shuttle. Last night there we busted 2 shuttles just sitting at the corner chillin on there phones. I did make a complaint to the front desk and sent a picture. I would like to give praise to Roberto he was spectacular and always working hard. As well as a big praise to Tiny she was amazing and even stopped once when we were waiting for a shuttle and called to make sure they knew we were waiting. She was headed home and already clocked out. This to me as a property manager is above and beyond! I enjoyed my time on the island and will definitely be back however I will not be staying here due to the beach being closed and having to drive to other beaches and pay. Also I will not stay here because of the Timeshare BS I told them I was not interested the 1st day and that should have been enough. There was no reason to message me every day and pressure me I do not appreciate that No means NO

• Micah (2/5): - The beach view was horrendous and looked nothing like the pictures. All the other beaches cleaned up the seaweed and margaritaville let it pile up and rot which made the entire resort smell like a giant fart 24/7. The staff tries to con you in to signing up for a time share when you get there and the “free transportation” are a bunch of lazy guys who are annoyed when they have to drive you in their golf cart and then expect a tip. Overall horrible resort.

• Lauren (6/5): - We loved where we stayed up high on the hill. No smell of the Sargassum seaweed. However we tried to eat at the restaurant on site but the lack of service and the horrible smell of the seaweed we had to leave. Infinity pool on top of hill didn’t have any smell and the service was great. Would recommend when they don’t have the sargassum seaweed issue.
• Trixie (4/5): - The beach smelled like dead fish.. the on site dinning staff were rude and un attentive. The walk to our room was difficult while there were sguttles if you asked for one after about 7 good luck getting one. We found them just parked in random places not helping anyone. Margaritaville is now more toward timeshare properties and we were spamed daily to try and getvus to sit through there presentation that we had already refused at check in. Our cards were charge almost 500 dollars and we were told it was a system glitch. I will be going back to st thomas but will not stay at maragaritaville.

• Debra (8/5): - The roof top pool was an excellent amenity on the property. The sargassum had a terrible smell which I understand is not their fault. The property itself is beautiful. Getting to our condo some days was tough because the golf carts would take too long so we ended up walking up the stairs instead.
• Lourdes (4/5): - Getting a shuttle could take up to an hour. I extended my stay since Wednesday and they still woke me up three times to tell me I had to leave! Roaches in my room.. called them In but never got anyone even though I spent the whole day in the room whre I had no breakfast and by 2pm, I called a shuttle for the rest. By 2:55 thanks to a room maintace cart that had seen me waiting for so log! God bless that staff! Im 76 years old and, from there on, I walked!
