whuteverrrrrr (6/5): Big Unit - We had a 2-bedroom 2 bath. It's sizeable and sleeps up to 8 but if you had 8 there not sure where everyone would sit; kitchen table? Couch for 3 and 1 chair by fireplace and tv viewing. (A tv that wouldn't connect to net & hard to operate). Wi-fi never worked & had to use hotspot. Unit itself is long in the tooth (90's feel) and needs updating. Carpet was dirty from years of use. There was a washer/dryer though no description told us of this so we brought more clothes than necessary. Like so many timeshares now they're outdated and not worth what you get for your money (dues/exchange cost).

A8118VCelizabethb (2/5): NOT what we were promised - We booked this trip based on the description and pictures, which showed an adorable condo with a vaulted ceiling, an upstairs bedroom with a loft, and lovely furnishings. What we got is a single level apartment with no charm and limited space. It feels very much like a bait and switch.

Hot tub...pool ..sauna closed super early. ...... amenities had a charge where it was usually free. Toiletries and clothes soap etc. Should always be free Young girls were nice at the desk, not overly welcoming. .Was different than our last visit.

Kerry (9/5): Great place with a small design problem at the door. - Location and amenities were as expected The front storm/screen door did not close completely upon arrival. Repair was made quickly. However the door is installed in a way that constrains access by not opening wide enough to easily move thru, especially with luggage. This causes strain on the door closer which in turn causes the door to not fully close as well as aggravation for the customer trying to move thru.

Departure08728471860 (8/5): A nice place tucked away in the woods - My wife and I spent five days at this property. It's located in a beautiful, secluded, wooded area just west of Mt. Hood. Our flight got in late, so we arrived shortly after 9pm to check in. The office was closed. There was a phone there with instructions, but no one answered it for about ten minutes. When someone finally answered, we were given instructions about opening a lock box with our key in it. The unit we stayed in was nice and clean. We were excited about the hot tub and sauna, which were in good shape, but we had to get in the car and drive to it from our unit, which wasn't ideal. We had trouble with the WiFi for most of our stay, for which the resort was kind enough to give us a partial refund. There are some nice restaurants close by. Overall we enjoyed our stay, most of all for the peace and quiet.

I was there for a wedding and I asked when I booked the place for a late checkout, emailed about a late checkout, and talked to them about a late checkout when I arrived. All the times they said “won’t be a issue but you must call the morning of your checkout” Morning of my checkout came and then suddenly it was a issue and couldn’t give me a late checkout. Not very accommodating.

When asked if they would give us a discount, they said Expedia wouldn't let them. I called Expedia, and when the agent called the property, the property refused. This was very disappointing.

We were given breakfast vouchers to adjacent resort that was a short walk was our room. Beautiful landscaping for walking. Definitely plan to visit again. I have no negative comments

The pool and hot tub area was very nice, as was the gym. We loved the peacefulness, and the trail going down to the river. There was everything we needed in the kitchen for making our meals. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely choose this place again.

I called the desk and asked and someone brought two tiny bottles of water. After a long day on the road and an early morning coming up. It's 9:30PM and just a trickly now so no shower! Wasn't worth the price.
Juanyun (2/5): - This resort is terrible. They didn’t mention any backup plan for me through email or through Expedia about late checkin and I was almost not able to get my room key. When I arrived at the room, the water from the bathroom and the toilet were super muddy. When we called the emergency contact, the man who responded was very inpatient and he promised a callback but actually no callback. The water condition recovers in the morning but still no employee in the registration explaining this whole bad experience. We were given two breakfast vouchers but there was nowhere to use them. And the room has extremely terrible sound insulation. It sounds like people are dragging luggage right next to my ear when they walk in the hallways.

Mary (10/5): Family 2 night stay - Excellent resort and close to Mt. Hood, approximately 30 minute drive to Timberline lodge. We stayed at the suite and it was clean, stocked, and spacious. Parking was up front. Nice backyard patio. Surprised to see washer and dryer in suite, which we used on the second day. Friendly staff. Highly recommend for families. We will definitely visit again.

Wish the pool hours were longer to enjoy it more so. Closed at 6:45 pm just when you want to wind down. But over all, I’ll be back!
lucsimsthomas (8/5): Nice resort, friendly staff - This resort sits in a quiet town near a golf course (this made my husband very happy) and the staff is wonderful, so check-in was a breeze. The condo we were in appears to have been renovated and the furnishings were nice, comfortable and functional. It was actually pretty warm during our stay and the forced-air cooling unit worked fairly well to keep the condo cool. There were no wine glasses, which I found a little strange, but only a minor complaint. There is a fairly large heated pool and a very nice hot tub and sauna near the office and the gift shop, which had some very nice stuff in it. The bed was comfortable and when we had an issue, the maintenance guy came out fairly quickly to fix it. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Pool closes at 9pm,or sooner to clean up, there is no Salmon River access point or restaurant on site (other ones nearby).

KayO730 (10/5): Relaxing Stay at Whispering Woods – Unit B3 - We recently stayed in a one-bedroom unit (B3) at Whispering Woods and had a really enjoyable experience. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. While the decor is a bit dated, everything was in great working order and thoughtfully provided. The unit includes a BBQ and outdoor seating, which was perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It also has a washing machine and dryer—super convenient for longer stays—as well as a portable air conditioning unit that kept things comfortable. Whoever is managing this property is doing an excellent job. We felt well looked after and would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone considering a stay. Don’t hesitate to book!

Jesse (6/5): OK property at a nice quiet location. - These are condos in a quiet location. There is a golf course, lot of greenery and trees. It appears to be an old facility. Arrived early around 11am, front desk took said she will call when the room is ready but no one called. After waiting we arrived at the property again at 4:30 pm and they said the room was ready. There were huge mosquitoes in the room, called front desk and they said they couldn't do anything as the Maintenance team was on their way home since its after 5pm now.

James (8/5): - The rooms are clean but out dated. Bed and pillows were hard. The upstairs loft sleeping chairs will only work for small children. The washing and dryer needs to be replaced. We took our clothes to a laundry mat down the road to dry them because dryer was taking so long.
Jadwiga (10/5): - The place is very spacious, garage parking, swimming pool for kids and playground. Restaurants and store within the resort with reasonable prices.
Kerry (8/5): - Beautiful and quiet property with amenities. Just FYI - no air conditioning. “First floor stay” means above the garage - so you are up one flight. Can be awful if you’re not expecting that!
Tish (10/5): - Great values, two large bathrooms, lots of thoughtful amenities and info about the area. Lovely spot on the golf course, outside pool and hot tubs with great shower facilities. Exceeded our expectations and a superb value.

Laura (8/5): - The living room had a nice view of the woods. It was safe, clean, secluded, quiet. It is not upscale, but was overall a good stay. The bedrooms had very comfortable mattresses. There is one air conditioner unit for the whole place, but the first night we put the fan on and opened the window, and that was fine. Staff were nice.

TrulyGoBlue (10/5): Great Resort - Everyone was very friendly. If you love golf, this is a great course. The clubhouse was quite nice and not crowded. Nice gym (except no dumbbells). We backed up to a green and so there were people going by on the golf cart. The central area of the unit (living/dining room) was a bit overcrowded with furniture and the TV screen was a bit on the small side nowadays. WiFi was spotty (connection would drop frequently, but when it held, it worked well) and cell service equally spotty.

Andrea (6/5): - Third floor room provided in an older condo complex converted to rental rooms. Clean inside but very warm since there was only a portable room AC in the living room of a 2 BR suite without being told there was not central AC. Summer travelers from other places need to know this when it's 80-90 degrees outside. The bedrooms were hot after a long day traveling so very disappointing. The TV did not have a Roku remote and had multiple instructions that did not work (and that comes from a tech guy) who can figure out anything. Clean but older and needs renovations in the bathrooms. Should be told about being on the third floor with no elevator also. Travelers have alot of luggage and need to know before booking.

Anonymous (9/5): Highly highly recommend, We could totally see ourselves coming back again. - Beautiful premises, great staff. So close to amazing activities and sites near Mt. Hood. An amazing place to relax and enjoy clean and quiet nature. We lay down in middle of the golf course late at night and had an incredible star gazing experience. Kids loved the place and especially the private hike down to the Salmon River. What an amazing resort!! It's a bit hot in the summer for the level of AC provided, and the AC machines sometimes randomly shut off and don't allow you to turn them back on.

Parikh (8/5): Overall nice place, but there is room for improvement - Property was big for sure. So for a couple, it might be too much. It was good to have a full kitchen. Temperature adjustments I don’t think AC was working.
