• Burhan (8/5): Very good hotel. - The hotel is excellent for a budget hotel. I did not personally stay in it. I booked for my mother in law and father in law. They said the hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The only problem was the room they stayed was in was a bit small.

• Suzy (8/5): Perfect location ideal for bahasa speakers - The room was clean and comfortable and location was perfect as far as i was concerned. Staff were friendly and helpful when face to face and seemed very understanding of my embarrsssing lack of ability when it comes to speaking Bahasa. Unfortunately butler chat in the archipelago app does not appear to work at all. Messages appear read but are not answered. Don't bother downloading it or using it, it is a complete waste of time. Calling to order room service was completely ineffective, I'm pretty sure I was hung up on, potentially because my attempts at saying what I wanted in bahasa made no sense to the other person so they freaked out and hung up the phone instead of seeing another staff member could assist. The pricing for the restaurant is deceptive. There are extra fees and taxes that you have to pay for your meal meaning that the cost on the bill is completely different to the menu. Finally don't take the hotel organised transport to the airport it is overpriced. Instead book a gojek car. The price is good, as is the service

• Jumaina (7/5): Stay at Fave Hotel, Banjarmasin - Friendly reception staff & fast registration. Amazed by the ability of the registration staff to recognised my face of returning guests for the 2nd time. During breakfast - food wasn't delicious & was served cold. It is quite a disappointment as it only caters food for local taste buds & none international cuisine for diners from foreign countries.

• Ferdian (6/5): Pleasant - Location is on the main street. They give bolster. This is the only hotel that I experienced providing bolster to the customer. My room was just beside the Government Hospital and near the mosque. It's very very noisy, since the speaker from the mosque is toward my room. Bed is a bit hard.

I am very recommended to make an event here. It is a nice place, a very cozy and comfortable place. • GrahamM2130 (6/5): I got pretty much what I expected - This is a 3 star hotel with decent sized rooms in a good location in Banjarmasin. Facilities are basic, a little tired, but tidy. The shower area was huge but the drainage was a little limited and couldn't handle anything more than a light flow without spilling into the rest of the bathroom. I couldn't fault the staff (but English is very limited). A real highlight was the breakfast which was excellent and would hold its own against 4 start competition. One idiosyncrasy is that instead of bottled water they provide filtered water in the hallway - helps to reduce plastic waste.. I'd be comfortable staying here again - it is good value.

This hotel provide unlimited mineral water by put the water dispenser outside the room. But unfortunately, there's no tea/coffee in the room and there's no shower cap. The service is satisfying, fast check in and check out.
