- Connie (4/5): - Great location but property needs upkeep. Staff unavailable except via phone. We saw on web, I think that parking is free but it costs $25 a night at a nearby garage. Free breakfast was not much—coffee lukewarm and few options. Only yogurt for gluten free option. Wouldn’t stay again.
- Mark (10/5): - Stayed here to attend a concert at TQL Stadium. Was very happy with the entire stay. Great location walkable to the stadium and bars/restaurants. The hotel was perfect and classic, with live music on the evening that we stayed. The parking garage is private and less than a block away. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The staff and innkeepers are wonderfully attentive and truly make you feel at home. An absolute highlight is the authentic Italian restaurant on-site, with a warm ambiance and food that feels like a genuine taste of Italy—not the usual chain fare. It's an absolute must-visit.!!!

- susan (6/5): - Security issues: There was a inch or more gap under my door--within view of my bed. Anyone could easily put their phone under my door and watch me in my bed. The only lock on my door was the one on the door knob. No dead bolt, no chain. As a single woman I did not feel like safety was a priority. There were shades on the windows so I woke up early because of light. For these reasons I probably wouldn't stay there again. The staff was great and helpful. Great, fun, walkable area.
- James (10/5): Bravo, Brava! - The Symphony Hotel is a few minutes’ walk from various arts venues, and its musical ambiance—classical in theme, live jazz in the evenings—sets the tone perfectly for those in town for a concert or play or exhibit. The staff are exceedingly helpful, the rooms and restaurant are richly appointed and squeaky clean, and the whole experience is carried off with panache.
- Diane (10/5): - The property is incredible. The decor, history, ambience, and staff can't be beat. I can't wait to come back and stay again. The room had every amenity imaginable, and was very comfortable. The dedicated parking garage was a great feature and even has chandeliers in it! My only issue wasn't with the hotel, it was trying to drive around the area. I suggest parking you car in the beautiful parking garage for your stay then walk or take public transportation (very convenient). This property is a must stay!!!

A few minor issues (a squeaky old bed, no shampoo in the shampoo holder, basic free breakfast, and quite expensive), but overall, a great place to stay. There is no elevator, so you have to climb the stairs. Great chandeliers in the parking garage.

- jovan (10/5): - This is a small intimate hotel. They have an off site parking garage. I didn’t eat at their restaurant but it is fine dining area. They have a small bar and certain days of the week have a small jazz band. The overall atmosphere is cozy. They don’t have a big staff so you have to text the staff and they will respond to you. It’s sorta like going to your relatives house. Not quite a bed and breakfast but close to it.

And the location is terrific, a short walk to Vine Street with its Over the Rhine storefronts, now filled with an eclectic assortment of shops and restaurants. I stayed there for New Year's, but not only could I hear the sounds of the celebration, I could also hear every step and conversation of people walking in the hallway. The fire alarm went off at night, and a manager (I assume it was the hotel manager) was running through the hallway, asking, 'Is everyone okay in here?!' That seemed like an unusual fire safety procedure.

- Jim (8/5): Unique Experience - The hotel is very unique and more like a VRBO then hotel. I really liked the decor and classical music themed rooms. My only "want" that was not available was a workout room. However, based on what the hotel is designed for, I completely understand the reason behind it. Easy access to restaurants, bars and the entire downtown area. If you are looking for a non-traditional hotel, this is just the place for you.
- LESLEY (8/5): Unique stay; loud early morning construction - Very cool old hotel with unique rooms… we stayed in the Bach room and enjoyed our check-in experience and the room itself during our short stay. However, we were awakened at 7:15am to loud drilling or sawing in the room next to us just on the other side of our bedroom wall… it went on for 30 minutes or so. All in all (other than that) would recommend staying here.

- Jeanelle (8/5): A gem in the city…will stay there again! - Great experience! It’s a small 9 room hotel on the outskirts of OTR near Findlay Market. The check in is atypical of a hotel and more of a bed and breakfast. There aren’t room numbers, but room names, and I stayed in the Schubert. The room was comfortable and despite my lack of pictures, there is an in room bathroom. The color palette was rich and inviting, with little trinkets aligning to the theme sprinkled throughout the room.The hotel has 3 floors without an elevator. There is an outdoor deck and a first floor restaurant, Vivaldi. There is a small food menu, but a vast liquor/ wine selection. There was a live jazz band as well. The parking garage is about a block away, so please be prepared for that journey. The garage is secured and well-lit, with 2 beautiful massive chandeliers. My only complaints are: there needs to be a surge protector in the room, as if you have more than one item to charge, you have to hunt and move furniture to get access to an outlet. The complimentary breakfast is meh, and is a small fridge in the restaurant of regular store bought food. Lastly, there should be a note of how to check out in the hotel room, as the innkeepers are not available if you leave before the check out time of 11am. I had to search for how and where to leave the keys.

One light was not working and could not get the ceiling fan on either. Restaurant was closed for remodeling which they might have mentioned. Car parking was secure but was a block and half away so had to walk between the two.
- MARK (4/5): - No one was in person except on check in. The only way to talk to staff was by text. The air conditioning was to cold. The breakfast was just ok. I would not stay there again. Tiles were falling off the walls. It needs paint.

- Sarah (6/5): Historic, charming, but won’t go back. - We are seniors who navigated two tall, 20-step narrow staircases with our luggage, to our third floor room. Hallways and stairwells stifling hot. No elevator. Room was nicely air-conditioned. No place to put luggage, very tight quarters. Oh, and it wasn’t discussed on their amenities list, but they have wonderful, clean, accessible parking (2 blocks away) and there is an extra $25 per night added to room fee.

- Jason (4/5): - This was, unfortunately, my most disappointing hotel experience in recent memory. It felt less like a hotel and more like a couple of rooms situated above a restaurant. The quirky B&B style, with rooms named after composers, aimed to create a music-themed ambiance in an old house. However, the rooms appeared dated, lacked cleanliness, and the bed had a musty funky odor that made it challenging to fall asleep. Considering these issues, the price point seems rather high for the overall experience. One notable inconvenience was their strict policy of charging a $50 fee for late check-ins after 11 pm, regardless of the reason. While I understand it's their policy, arriving at 11:16 pm due to a flight delay felt unjustified. I do want to highlight the kindness of the staff despite this policy. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to the Cincinnati Music Hall could be a significant advantage for music enthusiasts. If this location is vital to your plans, the convenience might outweigh the drawbacks. However, for a more comfortable and modern stay, I'd recommend exploring other options within the nearby area.

We were in the area and would be there about 20 minutes early and she wanted to charge us $25 for an early check. Even though the website didn’t say there was a charge for parking they tried to charge us for parking when we got there. I told them to look at the welcome email they sent, and there was nothing about charging us for parking. We said we weren’t going to pay for parking, but they charged us anyway we had to have a heated conversation with the owner to get that charge taken off The room we stayed in had a window that was frosted, but the lights were on outside the window and the room was light all night long There were a lot of noises coming from inside the hotel during the night She wanted to charge us a $25 parking fee and that was never mentioned in our welcome package or on the website We were a bit disappointed

- Chelsea (10/5): Exceeded every expectation. - Absolutely fantastic in every way! Check in was super simple. The parking garage is right around the corner and easy to access. This property is walking distance to tons of great places. We found a beer garden with a German restaurant that was 10/10. The rooms have everything you could need. Super cute. Super clean. We stayed in the Copland room. Absolutely stunning. Wonderful Wednesday away from home. I would stay here again and again.

- Dolores (6/5): Disappointed - I purchased a one night stay for my daughter and her husband on the wedding night. I chose this hotel because it is quaint & unique. I ordered a bottle of champagne and a charcuterie board to be present that night. Everything was wonderful except they went to the dining room the following morning for breakfast and no one was present. They arrived at 10 am and left at 10:15 because no one approached them. When I questioned this, I felt the innkeepers attitude was “sorry about your luck”.

- Maci (8/5): Quaint Hotel - Great stay overall, I had a quick stay overnight while traveling for work. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, netflix on the TV, breakfast & free parking. A few things that aren't deal breakers but good to know: the covered & gated parking is not connected to the hotel. It's a walk & it's not the best area to be walking at night. We'll loosely call it breakfast, while i was there it was yogurt and i couldn't seem to find the coffee to save my life.

All of the staff were amazing and welcoming! Definitely a bed and breakfast vibe. The breakfast is included with your stay and was soooo good!! Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. They give you a garage door opener and have a private garage right around the corner that is all included as well.

- Amy (10/5): Great Location, beautiful rooms - This is our 2nd time staying at the Symphony Hotel. We have enjoyed both visits. This hotel is very unique and quaint. I love that each room is different. The weekend breakfasts are amazing. The hotel is so convenient to the free streetcar, getting around downtown Cincinnati is quick and easy. We had friends join us, which made our trip even better. If you're looking for a unique experience, the Symphony Hotel is a must.
- Nancy (10/5): Checkin easy and safe - I was apprehensive about arriving solo in a destination I'd never been to a place with a nontraditional checkin procedure. I was pleased and relieved. Melissa greeted me at the door after I texted and called that my plane arrived. The whole experience could not have been better. Dinner Friday night was awesome, grouper and roasted veggies were fresh and delicious. The jazz was a treat. Symphony is comfortable and in a great location in the heart of Over-the-Rhine, next to the Music Hall and Washington Park. The choice of nearby restaurants and the free tram to major attractions is a plus. Definitely will stay here again.
- Kelly (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay here, the staff was extremely friendly and my room was really nice and cozy, i would definitely stay here again. The included parking was also really great as i had family staying in a different hotel and they had to pay for parking every night. The only complaint i had was the coffee maker still had a used pod leftover from whoever had stayed there before and looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in a long time. Otherwise i had a great experience here

- Marian (8/5): - This hotel is right off of Washington Park where the Music Hall is located. The free tram stops at the corner. Walkable to the Findlay Market. Good breakfast included with the room. Free parking off site at their own garage by the soccer stadium, so 2 blocks away. I was concerned about the possibility of noise from the street, but that was not a problem when we stayed there. One window did not have a blind, but they provided sleeping masks with the room. I actually used it! Our part of the building required steps to the room. We investigated the rooftop deck the next day - it would have been a nice place to hang out if we had the chance.

- Karen (4/5): Great unrealized potential - Best thing was the EXCELLENT mattress & the location (next to Music Center). Also, if you're into "cutesy," the "cutesey quotient" is A+++: staggeringly crass ornaments, poor-quality recordings, etc. etc. covering literally every available surface and wall space. All else was below average. Hostess seems ill-suited to her profession, appears to resent any intrusion on her time or patience, lacks even minimal charm or empathy (other than obviously forced); food is over-rated, over-priced, and disappointing: mushy over-cooked veg, starch is fried soggy potato chunks, crab cakes have zero "chunks of crab," house wine poor quality, service adolescent, well-intentioned but unskilled. Rooms are awkward, poorly lit, inadequate cumbersome window coverings, no protection from glaring street lamps other than "sleep masks" (!!!). Showers have temperamental hot water (basically non-existent); basin has no functioning stopper. Toilet paper: a half roll only?!!!! Jazz & lounge patron noise very loud till well after 10:00. Lock on door malfunctions. Complimentary breakfast? Not till 9:00, and no notice given that there is yogurt, juice, etc. that can be picked up going out the door earlier--I just stumbled onto this. It could be mentioned at check in, for those of us giving notice that we need to leave before 9:00 a.m. who have paid for breakfast. This place could be a real treasure under better management. It has a great location and lots of inherent charm.

- Brandy (10/5): We loved this hotel! - The hotel is older so it has lots of charm. It only has 9 rooms so there is plenty of privacy. There is a restaurant and jazz bar downstairs. It's perfect for a weekend getaway. They also have a FREE parking garage right down the street. We will definitely stay here again.

- Amanda (10/5): Unique Experience - We had an amazing stay! Wish we would have come earlier to enjoy the hotel more. I think it was beautiful and so much more to do than known. Enjoyed sitting at the bar, the young man who was bartending was very nice and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and enjoy my experience more. Such a unique hotel with a lot of charm and history, Everyone was so nice. My only wish is that the restaurant and bar stayed open longer for guests.
