So beautiful, cozy, amazing rooms and art decor in a Spanish Style or Hacienda Style that preserved the original architecture. The restaurant is really really good. No need to go outside. From breakfast, warm-home made pastries to the sensational Taco hour on Wednesdays. We loved everything!

- Robert (7/5): Fantastic staff, but unbearably noisy property - The staff was absolutely outstanding. Their efforts were truly “above and beyond.” 15 out of 10. The bed was really comfortable and the location was convenient to tourist sites The noise. The noise. The noise. The hotel rooms are situated around an stone atrium. The restaurant, the bar, and all events are situated in the courtyard at the base of the atrium. (The restaurant and bar are absolutely inhospitable). So, every single sound is amplified as it bounces off of every stone surface—right into your bedroom. There was a children’s event on my last night—there were screaming children and trumpet music that lasted well past 10 pm and despite their efforts, the staff could not persuade the event organizers to close the show. Despite the outstanding staff , I would not stay here again.

- Carolyn (9/5): A beautiful historic hotel in a great location - It’s a stunning boutique hotel, with so much charm and elegance. Our bed was comfortable and bathroom was recently renovated. Plenty of closet space for two. Breakfast (not included) was really good, and the dinner also. I highly recommend the mushroom soup! My husband took advantage of the pool. I had a wonderful massage. It’s a fairly quiet location: just 3-4 blocks from the Zocalo, and right next to a park where an outdoor flea market sets up on Saturday and Sunday, which we loved. You’re also just a block away from the Los Sapos shopping area and park. Would definitely return. The only negative was that the bedrooms are above a courtyard which is beautiful but that is also where the dining room is, so if the diners linger until late, you can hear them. It did keep us up a bit one night.
- Janet (9/5): We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely, well-situated small hotel. - Ideal location for exploring the historic center of Puebla. Our room was large, quiet, comfortable and nicely decorated; the bathroom was spacious and modern. The staff was helpful with several requests. This is a beautiful hotel but I missed having an inviting, warm, common space to relax with a drink in the evening. The restaurant area was fine for breakfast but not where you would want to sit down with a cocktail. There is a tiny bar area but it was chilly and not inviting and I never saw an employee servicing it.

- Robert (10/5): - Loved the hotel. But discovered that the exits have wrought iron gates that are locked at night. When I inquired about exits in case of fire they said they would have to unlock the gates. I believed this was entirely dangerous situation.

The pan dulce was delicious. We loved everything. The room was not so good isolated so some noise woke us up in the morning.

Miguel went out of his way to make sure I had the info to get around and get the most out of my visit in Puebla and Atlixco Waiter staff in restaurant seems robotic formal. As if they are serving the king and queen. A bit more relaxed would be nice…imho But they are very nice

There was a consistent problem with the toilet, in spite of staff promptly attending to it twice during our stay.

- Ludmila (6/5): - The property is excellent in general. Previously I mostly stayed in the entry level suites which are excellent. This time however I made a mistake to book the presidential suite and it was a disaster. The space is amazing and artistic, with multiple windows, decorated by antiques and modern art. However the plumbing in the main bathroom did not work. When I book expensive suites I mostly look forward to the posh bathrooms, these I consider sanctuaries, but not this time.

The door to the bathroom near the pool is hard to open, the two doors are not aligned properly (we already mentioned to the staff on prior visit). No soap in the bathroom. The furniture on the sundeck is falling apart.

Él único detalle fue que cuando llegamos habia un evento y el sonido de la fiesta era tan fuerte que parecía que la fiesta era dentro de nuestra habitación, nos informaron que terminaría temprano -10:30pm- y así fue afortunadamente, pero fue el unico pero de nuestra estancia

He was able to accommodate my needs due to my chemical allergies thus my stay was very pleasant without any issues. Hotel is walking distance to the centro and there are many options for shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel.
