Top floor with restaurant and beautiful panoramic views. The rooms also had nice views of the bay. The staff was great, friendly and super responsive to any issues/concerns. Overall great experience. The WiFi signal was weak and did not work in some areas.

L'accueil du personnel à la réception, merci à Chakib et Mohamed pour leur professionnalisme et leur attention, notamment pour avoir assuré le transfert vers l'aéroport à 5h du matin également l'excellent accueil du personnel au niveau du restaurant panoramique, chaleureux et professionnel. Un petit déjeuner copieux et savoureux a aussi été offert à mon fils. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Merci pour tout !

Le personnel était très sympathique, les chambres sont spacieuses, modernes et super propres. Le restaurant est splendide, avec vue panoramique sur la ville et la mer. Le dîner était excellent et pas très cher. Petit bémol sur la fenêtre de la chambre qui ne fermait pas bien et on entendait les voitures dans la rue. Ceci dit, l'expérience a été très positive.

- Yacine (1/5): - J’ai voyagé avec une autre personne – un homme et une femme – et nous avions chacun réservé une chambre séparée, conformément à la loi algérienne. Il s’agissait donc d’une réservation tout à fait normale et légale. Malheureusement, l’agent de sécurité de l’hôtel nous a demandé 10.000 dinars algériens simplement pour que nous puissions nous rencontrer à l’intérieur de l’établissement. Ce comportement relève clairement de la corruption, ce qui est totalement inacceptable dans un cadre hôtelier. En raison de cette situation, nous avons décidé de quitter l’hôtel environ deux heures après notre enregistrement. Ce genre d’expérience est inacceptable et a complètement gâché notre séjour. Ich reiste mit einer anderen Person – ein Mann und eine Frau – wir hatten jeweils separate Zimmer gebucht, ganz entsprechend den geltenden algerischen Gesetzen. Es handelte sich also um eine völlig normale und korrekte Buchung. Trotzdem verlangte der Sicherheitsmitarbeiter im Hotel 10.000 Dinar dafür, dass wir uns überhaupt innerhalb des Hotels treffen dürfen. Dieses Verhalten ist nichts anderes als Korruption – und in einem Hotelbetrieb absolut inakzeptabel. Aus diesem Grund haben wir den Aufenthalt bereits etwa zwei Stunden nach dem Check-in abgebrochen und frühzeitig ausgecheckt. Ein solches Verhalten wirft ein sehr schlechtes Licht auf das Hotel und hat unseren Aufenthalt komplett ruiniert.

- Ines (2/5): Décevant malheureusement. - J’ai apprécié la vue sur mer. En revanche, je n’ai pas été satisfaite du service. Une chambre qui ne correspondait pas à la nôtre nous a été attribuée, sous prétexte de ne pas déranger des mariés installés dans la chambre initialement réservée. • Les salles de bain étaient mal entretenues, la moquette était très sale, et un seul sortie de bain était prévu pour deux personnes. De plus, il n’y avait ni babouches ni kits de courtoisie. • Compte tenu du prix payé, il est étonnant que le petit-déjeuner ne soit pas inclus. • Par ailleurs, aucun stationnement n’est prévu. Le commerçant situé au rez-de-chaussée de l’hôtel observe les allées et venues des clients et nous a interdit de stationner devant l’établissement alors que la place était libre. Il s’est même approché jusqu’à l’entrée, avec une attitude intimidante et irrespectueuse. • En résumé, je suis très déçue par cet hôtel.

HErewith I want to say a big thank you to all the staff from the hotel. Your work of all of you was great. From the welcome from security to the reception and the help there followed by the good housekeeping staff and the restaurant and staff. Overall for us the experience was absolutely great. So a massive thank you to the staff for everyone, well done. You all will see us back in the future. The room was great as well. Together with the staff that made the days in the AZ Kouba hotels great! Thank you and see you all in the future, keep up the good work. The only aspect which came as a surprise was that the hotel should be able to receive payments from mastercard creditcards however this was not the case. This is one tiny aspect, but this is common for me as holder of a european mastercard creditcard. Luckily we were allowed to arrange the payment in another way as per cash and we were allowed to do this at the end. This was super so this minor aspect did not effect the stay at all, because the stay was absolutely great! Yet again thank you all so much and see you next time!

- Evgeniya (9/5): Superb - We stayed at this hotel during Djazagro exhibition. We definitely liked the splendid view from the restaurant on the seventh floor. The breakfast was also very diverse and fresh, especially we appreciate the fresh juice. The room was ok, but unfortunately my room lacked a table lamp. However, i did nit request it during my stay, so no big deal. The cleaning lady was very polite and room cleaning was regular, on a daily basis. We appreciate the professionalism of hotel personnel. Since we were on a business trip, we requested a special invoice tailored to our accounting requirements, the manager was kind to prepare the invoice accordingly. The guy at the reception, who helped us to check in and check out, Chakib, was very polite, professional and his English was good, which was very convenient. We thank Chakib and his colleagues for this wonderful experience in Algeria.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and professional—from the bellboy and restaurant team to the reception. A special thanks to Mr. Chakib, who was incredibly helpful and took the time to show me around. His hospitality made such a great impression that I decided to extend my stay. I would definitely come back!
- Gilles (9/5): Great business hotel for a short stay in Algiers - Great view from the rooftop restaurant. Amine the taxi driver affiliated with the hotel is super friendly and efficient. Price is a bit too expensive. Location is not ideal as you are far from the city centre. However you can walk to "jardin botanique" and "monument des martyrs".

- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. Every single person I came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and kind. I arrived late after a delayed flight, but Hichem was extremely helpful and understanding. He answered all my questions and spoke with me at length to make sure I had everything I needed and to set up a city tour and airport transfer for the following day. He kindly extended a late check out to me since I was arriving so late and would need to rest after 2 days of travel. His English was great and he gave me great advice that made my first day in Algeria very easy. Thank you! The bed was comfortably firm and the shower was nice and hot. Very nice room with views of the city and sea that was perfect.. An ample breakfast for a reasonable price was also offered.I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I ever return to Algiers. Nothing myvstay was wonderful. I would return again!

- Ilie (7/5): Good - The staff are friendly The place and the staff are very good, Although I Was a little bit disappointed they don’t have room service at night but it was ok In the morning I had to wait a very long time to receive slippers plus I got only one pair not two ( as I was with my sister in the room), I took a shower at night and the water stopped running. The room was so cold and tried to turn the AC to heating mode but there was no way to do that as the control panel was on a parental mode.

- Kanako (6/5): Perhaps this is Algerian quality - It was okay to stay there. Room size was okay and staff was nice. There were several issues. Tea bag was opened. Bath amenities were half full and printing on a tube was pretty much gone. I found a dead fly in my bed. The neighbor was snoring loud and I could hear that all night.

- Jasmine (8/5): - Overall we had a positive experience staying here. The reason for not giving 5 stars was one of cleaning staff stole $100 from our room. We had momentarily left our room and did not think that in the short time we were downstairs, that cleaning services would be performed. We still had our personal belongings out and money was on the table. When we returned, we found that a $100 bill was missing. Management investigated their staff but found that no one supposedly had the money. Other than that experience, staff were friendly. Some spoke English which was positive as well, as my French is very basic and limited.
