Well positioned for bus service and access to Edinburgh. Could not turn the lights off in the kitchen and bathroom overnight. The fans ran with the light switch so a rather noisy night No temp gauge on shower. Scalding water only therefore I could not use shower. One of the light switches when I tried to put it on a huge flash came off it. Lit up the room. Very unsafe. With the water and the electrics. An accident awaiting a problem

Pero teniendo en cuenta que le faltan cosas . Las puertas no cerraban y la principal no toca el suelo. La cocina es amplia pero le faltan paños, escurridor y bayetas. El baño es pequeño pero justo. La cama era demasiado blanda, creemos que es momento de cambiar el colchón. El televisor no dispone de bluetooth para conectar el móvil, con ello no podríamos ver los canales de nuestro país. El suelo es muy ruidoso. Oyes el tuyo y el del piso de arriba. Faltaría una mantita.

• Denise (5/5): Could have been so much better ! - The location was really good -it was on a main bus route and the bus stops were only yards from the property. Within walking distance of Iceland store and Sainsbury's local store The policy statement for the property stated that there was free WiFi n the property; however no WiFi code was left in the property to access the WiFi and owners failed to respond to requests for this. In addition I reported a safety concern with regard to loose socket in kitchen and again no response received from owner. There was some chipped crockery in the kitchen and no tea towel was provided. Chipped/peeling paint work on doors and windows make property look tired and neglected
• Mary (6/5): Adequate, clean and safe. - It was safe and clean. The location was remote, it had no elevator and this 72 year old woman had to carry her bags up a steep flight of stairs. Walls were thin, I could hear conversations in other rooms.

Tuvimos que esperar en la ciudad dejando las mochilas en una oficina de maletas. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue un poco pobre, hicimos varias preguntas acerca del alojamiento y no se nos respondió

No option for recycling. Kitchen was not well equipped. No plug in sink or teatowels or kitchen items such as a fish slice. Floors creaked a lot
• Aaron (6/5): Pleasant stay with amazing accommodations, radiator needs to work - The location, and accommodations like full bathroom and kitchen with a large space and bed, toiletries and extra pillows There are no window screens so you can’t open the windows without getting bugs inside, and the Radiator was faulty

You have a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and electric hob. - The check in instructions were quite clear and we got the keys quite quickly. - The wifi connection was quite good, the TV works. - The landscape around the house is wonderful, the house has a more vintage look - The apartment needs some small renovations, keeping the vintage style. - We didn't get along very well with the water taps at the accommodation. For example, in the shower, if you turned the tap to the left, hot water should have come. The hot water flow came, but only after about 5 minutes, the same with the cold water, which made it impossible to adjust the water temperature. Nice to have - 1-2 adapters for European sockets. We had ours, taken from home, but it would be useful if the accommodation also provided us with at least one plug adapter.
• Vasileios (6/5): - Το δωμάτιο ηταν μεγάλο, ηταν δίπλα σε σταθμό λεωφορείου για το κέντρο. Ο χώρος εξωτερικα απο την οικία καθώς κ στος κοινόχρηστους χώρους είναι παρατημένος. Το δωμάτιο χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση κ επισκευες ( τα καλοριφέρ έχουν διαρροές , βάψιμο πχ).

• Sunil (4/5): Disappointed with the parking—no on-site space available as advertised. - The property was clean, comfortable. The property advertised on-site parking, but there was no space available, so I had to park on the main road and walk with my luggage.

• Nakib (9/5): A lot of space and a great stay - We got so much space. The heating of the room worked very well. The full apartment had all the necessities for our stay. Free parking on the road or garage was very convenient. There is a bus stop in front of the house that brings you directly to the city center. Entering the residence was easy and convenient. The floor was creaking in certain spots. You can hear the people around you in the other floors or outside very easily.

• doris (3/5): Poor state of apartment and no Comms when something was broken. - Very clean but neglected apartment. Cupboards weren't fitting or loose, kettle had a broken lid, kitchen was sparingly equipped (one working pan) The front door (crucially not the apartment door) could not be closed, which left me feeling unsure /unsafe. The host stopped replying to me when I asked for them to fix the door. The apartment was in a poorer state than advertised; leaking radiators, paint falling off the wall, windows not opening. Really not worth the monies..

• Isabel (10/5): - hemos estado seis noches en abril y ha sido estupendo. el sitio es muy amplio, tiene secador, plancha, instrumentos de cocina y cambian las toallas y la basura una vez al día entre semana. El colchón es muy cómodo y tiene también un sofá cama. Tiene una parada de bus que deja en el centro de Edimburgo justo delante de la puerta, lo que nos lo ha hecho muy fácil para movernos. El baño tiene todo lo necesario, y al menos el nuestro tenía ducha y bañera (estuvimos en la habitación 4). Te dan gel, champú y jabón. El método de acceso por códigos es muy cómodo y nos llegaron todos los códigos perfectamente el día de nuestra llegada. La relación calidad precio es estupenda, volvería a quedarme en Lanark Residence sin duda. (tiene cerca un supermercado Iceland) nada en especial, todo genial.
• Fiona (2/5): Not a very good experience - Spacious Where do I start, the electric key code did not work to our apartment and reported it on arrival and several times after. Eventually the man called back and said he will get maintenance to sort it as anyone could have walked into our apartment. No one turned up at all, had to barricade the door with chairs. Did not sleep well as did not feel safe, as a good push on the door would have moved the chairs.

• Ayomipo (10/5): A fantastic vacation stay filled with memories. - The studio was unbelievably roomy, clean and well maintained. I loved how spacious the studio was and the natural lighting illuminating the kitchen and dining area. Such a wonderful experience. There's nothing I found unpleasant.

• aleksandra (1/5): Ho dovuto perdere i soldi e prenotare un altro appartamento da un altra parte - L'esperienza peggiore della vita Sconsigliato! Ho dovuto cercarmi un altro appartamento per trasferirmi, perché non c'era sicurezza. Nell'appartamento accanto al nostro succedevano cose poco chiare, entravano e uscivano in continuazione uomini diversi ogni mezz'ora. C'era un casino assurdo di grida. Ho provato a contattare il titolare chiedendo se poteva spostarci un un altro appartamento o se gli altri erano andati via, ovviamente non sarebbero andati via e non ha voluto venire a verificare la situazione (forse perché sa che è vero)e ha detto che non ha ricevuto altre segnalazioni e che quindi per lui va bene, non serve verificare. Ovviamente non ho dormito, perché era tutta gente particolare che non aveva fatto il check-in e non aveva mostrato il documento a nessuno ma tutti quelli che entravano sapevano il codice d'ingresso. Le porte erano vecchie in legno quindi abbiamo passato tutta la notte con la paura. Ho viaggiato tanto, ma non avevo ancora visto un tale disinteresse verso i clienti. Ho chiesto il rimborso almeno per le notti che non ho dormito lì, il titolare non ha risposto nemmeno quella volta e quindi alla fine ho pagato pur dormendo da un altra parte. Ho sbagliato a non aver letto bene i commenti prima di prenotare!

• Kirsty (10/5): Great place to stay. - The house is gorgeous, it is a little run down but I personally think it adds to the charm. The rooms were big the bedroom area had a huge bed that was really comfortable. There was a dressing table with a mirror that was a perfect place to get ready. Yhere was also a tv on the wall. The living area had a huge L shaped sofa, a coffee table, a TV on the wall, a double wardrobe and a dining table with two chairs. There was also a a built in tall larder cupboard. Off the living area there is a small kitchen with a fridge, a microwave and a hob built into the worktop. There is a toaster and kettle. Tea and coffee is supplied also. There is plenty of dinnerware and cooking utensils. Next door to the kitchen is a gorgeous wee bathroom that has been beautifully updated with a walk in shower. The house is on a busy road but it is far enough off the road that you barely hear the traffic. It feels really secure as there is a code to enter the house and a separate code for the room. There is plenty of parking on Lanark Road. I was able to park my car safely there for my whole visit. The WiFi is brilliant with a really strong connection. The driveway is very steep so I would recommend parking on the road. The celing lights were really bright and there was only one lamp on the bedside cabinet which I had to move into the living area. There isnt a lot of sockets but I had brought an extension lead so I would recommend doing that.
• Madison (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous! - It was very spacious, felt like somewhere I would actually live. It was really clean and tidy, too! The bed was SO comfy. I had checked reviews on apple maps and they weren't great, so I was blown away by the property. Would 1000% stay there again.

• Nazia (10/5): If you love vintage things, this place will amused you always.. - I like to stay at the old houses and this property amuses me a lot. Every time I come to this place and fell in love with the rooms and the beauty of it. The property owners are quite adjustable and pro active in handling all the things. I have been to so many places but what I feel here is unexplainable. There is nothing wrong to mention for this place.

• Miller (1/5): - Was right enough Owner never gave the code for the keypad to get in nor did they answer phone or messages I had my 66 year old disabled mother with me 2º outside , luckily I managed to open the window and climb in and let her in then , absolute joke , no apology or refund offered today to rectify things.. Just an absolute joke tbh would never stay there again even if they paid me ..

• Stefan (7/5): War okay - Es war ruhig gelegen und bot Platz für uns fünf. Wir bekamen auch Zimmer direkt nebeneinander in den Zimmern im Hinterhof, dadurch sehr privat und entspannt. Es war direkt am Wanderweg des Water of Leith und nur ein paar Gehminuten in die umliegenden Hügel. Traumhaft Das Hausmeisterteam und die Reinigung waren sehr freundlichen und man bekam Kaffee, Tee und Hygieneprodukte umsonst. Jeden Tag wurden die Zimmer gereinigt und neue Handtücher wurden sobald welche gebraucht wurden bereitgestellt. Bei Starkregen, soll ja vorkommen in Schottland, regnete es in Zimmer 6 unten hinein. Leider direkt an der Steckdosenleiste.. Die Eingangstür zum Vorraum konnten nicht abgeschlossen werden und es war abends recht zugig und kalt. Die Matratzen waren schon recht durchgelegen.

• Geoff (7/5): Overall we had a pleasant stay. Value for money was good for Edinburgh, but room for improvement. - Location was good for us. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and good pressure. Lots of toilet roll provided. Spacious apartment. Tea and coffee and sachets of milk provided. Apartment was nice and warm. Entry and exit using the door codes was easy. The upkeep of the apartment could have been better. The shower head was cracked and there were some cobwebs in the bathroom that could've been hoovered up and the paint was flaking off around the bathroom door. The previous people had left a loaf of bread in a kitchen cupboard that was going mouldy as well. Also, it would've been handy to have a "make up my room/do not disturb" handle to hang on the apartment door to indicate if housekeeping was required or not during our stay. I used one of the parking spaces at the top of the drive when we arrived, and when I needed to get my car out a second car had parked next to me and it was extremely tight trying to manoeuvre my car out of the space. I parked on the road after that in case it happened again.
