• Borg (9/5): Great for visit to monkey forest 8 minute walk - Conveniently nestled of main road and close walking to the best coffee shop The rude guests that were there standing over there balcony demanding breakfast be bought up to them.

Big room comfy bed clean and a very big bathroom with bathtub. Small clothes line also in the balcony pool and garden views. • Lies (10/5): Top!!! - Kamers zijn schoon en best groot. Elke dag wordt je kamer schoongemaakt en word je bed opgemaakt. Het zwembadje is heerlijk; in de ochtend kun je er lekker tannen want dan schijnt de zon erop. Het water is perfect qua temp. Je kunt een ontbijtje bestellen van de kaart: ei (in elke vorm) met toast, pancake met fruit, gesneden fruit / of een juice, koffie of thee. Heel lekker! Het personeel is heel lief. Je kunt ook een scooter via hen huren. Dit is €12,20 per dag. Het kan ook goedkoper, maar het is handig als je net aankomt. Ook had ik een massage geboekt. Die was wel chil, maar niet bijzonder. Ook zijn er veel cafeetjes op loopafstand. Het centrum is ook op loopafstand.

• Iñaki (3/5): - La casa The villa is beautiful, just like in the photos... but unfortunately, the facilities aren't the best. There's no hot water in the shower, the kitchen is in poor condition, and the power goes out when it rains. The staff is very good at resolving problems and is always available. However, we couldn't get anything fixed, and day and night we only had ice-cold water to shower with, and one night we were left without electricity. Very poor value for money.

• Therese (7/5): Een fijne plek midden in het centrum. - De locatie midden in Ubud is top. Je loopt via de steeg zo het bruisende leven van Ubud in. Alles is op loopafstand; het apenbos, waterpaleis, super leuke restaurantjes en winkeltjes. En eenmaal weer terug in het hotel, kun je een fris plonsje in het zwembad maken. Het is een wat ouder familiehotel en dat is wel zichtbaar. Maar de kamers worden netjes schoongehouden en de familie en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We konden onze vuilen was voor een netteprijs laten wassen.

Concretamente un lunes a primera hora se les indicó que no habia mantequilla, y la respuesta fue "ya,es que se acabó"... se dieron media vuelta, se fueron y no le dieron mayor importancia ni ofrecieron alternativa. también tenían en obras la habitación al lado de la muestra y tuvimos que ir a pedirles a las diez y media de la noche. qué por favor dejaran de hacer ruido porque queríamos dormir... les duró veinte minutos y siguieron con las obras, volvimos a ir a hablar con ellos y de malos modos nos contestaron qué su hora de terminar el trabajo era a las las once. Cómo ya era hoy nuestra última noche allí y cuando me acerqué a recepción no había nadie, desistí de hacer la queja pero desde luego que no me volvería a alojar aquí...no merece la pena

Breakfast good and fresh. Nice pool Older style accomodation. Aircon not strong as room not sealed. Big gap under door and between window. Shower hot but bathroom basic and old fashioned.

• Montserrat (10/5): Absolutely wonderful stay! - I stayed by myself 9 nights and I had a wonderful stay. The staff is extremelly friendly and courteous, delicious breakfast, beautiful pool and gardens, all really well taken care of, extremelly quiet and relaxing place in a alleyway in the centre of Ubud, is a little oasis of calm and peace amist the chaos, great location. Everything was perfect!!! Thank you so much! Nothing

• Paula (7/5): Value for money and close to local markets. Need to be fit to manage the stairs and hill. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the property was up a small roadside hill which we had to access via foot. Given my knee injury it was very difficult for me walking up and down the hill road. Our rooms we also located down some steep steps, which again I found difficult. The staff were very helpful though with moving my suitcases.

• Tess (4/5): Niet aan te raden! - De ligging was goed en de airco deed het prima. Het bed was heel hard, er was geen handzeep op de badkamer, de badkamer was erg vies en stonk heel erg. De douche deed het niet goed. Er zat schimmel op het plafond. De handdoeken werden niet verschoond.

It is very worn , old , the doors are shaky, there is mold everywhere. The shower is either too hot or too cold the taps are not really working. Impossible to set the temperatures right There is definitely better value for money elsewhere in Ubud. Even the swimmingpool is tiny it is rather for decoration.

• Yiru (6/5): - It is a good value. Very noisy with the wood cutting work nextdoor, but not controllable by the hotel. The shared kitchen is not hygienic, so I did not use it. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is adequate, no hot water, so i could not use the shower or bath. Breakfast was ok for additional $2, but i wouldn’t pay for the full price. Internet intermittently cuts off.

• Andrew (8/5): Very good - The staff were amazing and made us feel at home. They were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. We chose one of the cheaper rooms which was great value for money. If I was to stay there again I would choose the slightly more expensive room. The pool is nice, the breakfast is freshly cooked for you with freshly squeezed juice and the location of the hotel is excellent. I would definitely stay here again if in Ubud. As I mentioned, I wish I had chosen the higher quality room, but that was my choice. I couldn't fault the place.

Thanks Ibu - It was a lovely place to stay and most of the staff were well trained and friendly. great location for Ubud central. Easy walk to everything I wanted (Yoga Barn, resturants, markets, massage) Very quiet because in a lane way. Good aircon. Bath tub. Breakfast was made to my request for dietary needs. I was very glad I booked this acommodation. Pool made my hair green. No mirror that can do makeup in due to lighting Younger staff need a little more training in hospitality and food service. Only Bali coffee.

There was a large gap at the bottom on the room door to the outside. To get to the hotel you have to get up a steep alleyway. Almost too tight for a car to safely get up.

It was easy to walk to the centre of Ubud and very close to nice restaurants, coffee places and shops yet it still feels quiet. Hogh ceilings in the property and room feels spacious. Very dirty bathroom for a property rated 4*. Mold is everywhere, walls in need of redecorating.

I really enjoyed my stay. As many of the reviews stated, the rooms are in need of an update. The sheets and towels seemed dirty. There was a constant smell.

Hot water was available constantly, you just had to run th water in the morning for it to come. Comfortable mattress (not too soft). Ubud is an area that is being developed. One day/night there was construction noise, so not so relaxing by the pool.
