• Verified traveler (10/5): - Sehr schönes, alleinstehendes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Bungalow auf kleiner Anlage direkt in der Natur, abends konnte man viele Tiere inklusive Faultiere direkt von der Terasse aus in den Baumkronen sehen
• IAIN (10/5): Our 1st choice in Cahuita. - We stayed here last year and were happy to return. We booked one of the 3 bungalows in the owners garden. The bungalows are basic but comfortable with plenty of wildlife - raccoons and monkeys visit most days and humming birds everyday. To sunbathe you need to visit the National Park (a small donation required) which is 3 min. away and has wonderful beaches and walks through the rain forest - watch your bags as the animals will try and steal any food in them. Most people stay 1 or 2 days as they travel the country - we had 12 and did not get bored. If we return Bungalows Ache will be our 1st choice.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Location perfect. Lovely area and close to the National park. The bed was nice and having a fridge is perfect. The negative side is ..alot od mosquitoes in the room each night. ...there are openings in the room ..allowingmosquitoesto enter....no air conditioning and her hot. Loved the ourside pato ...could be improved with outdoor furniture.
• Brent (10/5): Great spot near the entrance to the national park - Great location right near the entrance of Cahuita National Park. Bungalows were clean and comfortable and provided a great place to see the park and surrounding areas. Definitely would stay here again!
• Gans (10/5): - Bungalow style rooms nested in a garden, with chairs and hammock outside, make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the many birds, occasional monkeys and nature. Rooms are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, mosquito net etc. Great location, as the walk to Cahuita NP is just about 5 minutes. They have tours etc that one can organise.
• Jenne (10/5): Tropical Paradise - Bungalow Ache' was a great place to stay. It is less than a 5 minute walk to town, the National Park, and the beach. The grounds are beautiful and teaming with wildlife including, monkeys (howlers with their 4 am wake up call), birds, and agouti (adorable). The bungalow is plenty big with a refrigerator and kettle. They are not air conditioned but have fans in the rooms. The bungalows get hot but if you can't stand the heat you should not have traveled to the tropics. We would go back there in a minute.
• April (10/5): - This has got to be one of the best places I have ever stayed. Sure, no other place has had monkeys so they easily help my rating. Haha. But check in was great, the bungalow was so cute. I loved how it was decorated. I hope to stay here again!
• Gary (6/5): Good but not for everyone - The cabins are very quaint and the monkeys and other animals looking for food not very far from your front door is wonderful and almost worth the stay. It is also well located for the park which is definitely worth spending a few hours in. The cabins are neat and functional and as expected you share it with a few critters. Sadly a lot of those are made up of mosquitoes and although there are precautions made to minimise the number, the mosquito nets hanging over the beds are dated and no matter how much i tried they always got in. This made for an unpleasant nights sleep. That combined with the heat ( only fans to keep you cool) and the mattress and bedding which were not of good quality, means i would not go back to stay. WiFi was good and the coffee machine and coffee made for a pleasant surprise.

• Ellen (10/5): - Bungalows Ache is a charming place to stay. The setting is lovely and a very short walk to the entrance to the national park and to the town's main street filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and gift stores. If, I were to have one suggestion it would be to put screening on the cabin windows - I noticed that the bungalow next to us had them but because we didn't, we needed to shut up tightly in the evenings. That being said, it is an absolutely delightful place to stay.

• Mayra (10/5): Nice Bungalows in beautiful setting and close to t - The grounds were beautiful with lots of different flowers and it was very peaceful. Early in the morning we could see the animals go about, lot a little crabs all over the grounds and monkeys in the trees, beautiful!!
• Susan M. (10/5): Wild Pura Vida! - This place is wild! Monkeys, sloths, birds, iguanas and all kinds of wildlife right off your deck. No air conditioning or window screens.
• Simon (8/5): A great place for a quick stay - We really enjoyed our stay. The owner and his family were really welcoming and the setting of the property was great, just near to the town and beach but very quiet. Monkeys visited the gardens each morning and evening and the views were great. The cabins had a great design, the only improvement could be the shower but this wasn’t really a problem. It was hot but there were two fans, and I would recommend this place for a quick stay for a few nights.
• Steve (10/5): Excellent location. - When I first arrived I was a little concerned as to whether I'd made the right choice. However after a very short time I realised I had in fact made an excellent choice. The location is spot on for both the main street and the park. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The grounds had a lot of wildlife capuchin monkeys, iguanas, all types of birds etc One thing to note the payment is cash only and the local bank does not change sterling, US dollars and Euro are Ok but sterling no.
• Anna (8/5): Jungle cabin - We loved our stay in this bungalow. Jungle and animals are right on your back yard as it's right next to Cahuita National Park. It's very basic room with two fans and no a/c, you get a bit of a feel to be out camping. There is a coffee maker and fridge, cups, plates and cutlery, so you can make breakfast for yourself after shopping at the close by store. Beach is only few minutes walk away as is the entry to the National Park. Perfect spot for some beach fun and experiencing the nature and animals around you. On our hotel yard we spotted many animals and birds without even going to the park! Best time to spot animals and birds is right at the sunrise 4.30-5am. Make your own coffee, sit in the porch and enjoy the show ;)
• Desiree (10/5): Relaxing in Cahuita - The bungalows were quiet and private. The host provided us a tour of the grounds which was very interesting. The sounds of the neighboring neighboring national park and beach were audible from our bungalow. We saw monkeys and other animals on the grounds on a near daily basis.
• Amanda (10/5): Convenient and clean - There was wildlife right outside! We saw monkeys and iguanas while laying in the hammock on our patio. So relaxing!
• Carolina (10/5): Great! - The service was great. Everything went smoothly! Location is also awesome: close to main street and close to the beach (national park). There is a lot of vegetation around the cabins so as soon as we arrived we saw a group of monkeys crossing over. Also, cabins/bungalows are very cosy and nice (specially given than Cahuita is not known for it's luxury).
• Gillian (10/5): - clean comfy no ac. BEAUTIFUL VIEW . wierd temp for shower but you have to make sacrifices when youre on the carribean! walking distance to bus stop food beach shops bars . its nice . i loved it here . some crabs crawled in though haha
