De motorfiets kon achter het huis op een verharde parkeerplaats worden neergezet. Hele mooie comfortabele kamer en een grote serre met gemeenschappelijke woonkamer. Op slechts 5 mijl vanaf Trebah Gardens Ik kan eigenlijk niets bedenken...

• Andrzej (10/5): Perfect B&B - The Fig Tree is a short drive from Falmouth town centre and located in some beautiful countryside. It was raining on arrival and I was welcomed at the entrance and given tea and cake. The property is stunning. If you want quiet and peaceful this is for you. Very beautifully decorated and maintained. Excellent breakfast / relaxation room area. But the best for me was the bed. Firm mattress rather than the soft rubbish which cripples my back. Superb breakfast too. This place is a 10/10 gem. Only that Booking.com don’t take payment and the property don’t take card. But that’s more on me for not reading in advance.

The owners were so friendly and offered great advice on places to visit and see. The breakfast was incredible so nicely presented and so much choice. Everything tasted so good and used all local ingredients
• Julia D (8/5): - The cutest little bnb we've ever stayed in! The owner/proprietor was severely friendly, and we feel bad we had to turn down her offer of tea on arrival because we had to check into some work calls! Breakfast the next morning, however, went above and beyond. Hard to believe that such a little place can serve so many people so efficiently! Also of note is the amazing views and peaceful quietness. It was hard to get a hold of the proprietor after our initial welcome onto the property. We liked that she left us to our own devices and didn't hover, but we wish there was clearer direction on how to get in contact if we need something in the middle of the day. The only other issue, which is my fault in terms of choosing this location over any other place, is that there's nothing around and the streets are frightfully tiny. Coming from America, it was near impossible for us to get accustomed to the walkways they call roads in Cornwall, so the fact that there's nothing for miles around this place means there's nothing within walking distance and you have to brave those scary roads if you need to go anywhere (such as for dinner). Perhaps that's just a personal issue, but it was a bit deal for us.

• Pierre-Yves (10/5): Le paradis des Cornouailles - Un endroit paradisiaque. Une magnifique maison dans un endroit idyllique. On voit même la mer depuis la chambre! Le service est excellent et le logement très propre et hyper confortable. Le petits déjeuner est préparé avec soin, confectionné à base de très bon produits naturels. Il est aussi copieux. L'isolation entre les chambres est un peu faible.
• Anneli (10/5): Lantlig idyll - Mycket personligt och varmt bemötande från värdinnan, hon bjöd på te och kaka i allrummet när vi kom. Vi pratade också länge med henne i hennes fina blomsterträdgård. Fint och fräscht rum, breda enkelsängar och engreppsblandare vid handfatet. Rymlig dusch och nyrenoverat våtutrymme. Mycket bra frukost med god yoghurt och färska frukter, möjlighet att få Engelsk frukost också.

• Lesley (10/5): Superb accommodation close to Falmouth - This is a beautiful house in a great location with a good view. The hosts have been very thoughtful in how they have presented the room with lots of unique touches including a daily gift of home baked cakes. It was very comfortable and they provided a big breakfast with a great selection which was first class. They were helpful with suggestions for the local area. This was a first class accommodation and certainly great value for money, so thank you for. making my daughter's birthday and graduation day very special. Very highly recommend. There was nothing we didn't like.

• Piu (10/5): Exceptional - Fig Tree House was a little piece of heaven. The setting is incredibly serene, surrounded by lush greenery, and the hosts, Sal and Chris, were absolutely perfect. If you’re in need of some quiet time, this is definitely the place to relax, recharge, and detox. We liked everything in Fig Tree House and definitely going back.

• Anonymous (10/5): A great B&B in a lovely rural setting with excellent breakfast and facilities. - Fig Tree Cottage is in a beautiful rural location with lovely views across rolling countryside. We were greeted well by our hosts who offered to carry luggage for us, showed us around the property and made us a pot of tea. The breakfast was delicious with generous portions using largely local produce.

My bedroom was near the dining room and was a bit noisy when people had breakfast at 7.00 am. You could hear people moving about on the ceiling above early in the morning. It was a twin room. I always find the duvet slips off single beds in the middle of the night. Maybe a double bed upstairs would have been even better!

• Emma (10/5): We felt very welcome and comfortable on our stay at Figtree House, a beautiful little gem of a place - The figtree House was set in a lovely location with a beautiful well kept garden. Plenty of parking space on the off road drive way, A very spacious breakfast/lounge room with lovely views all around and very light and airy. Also with very comfortable sofas to relax into, with a wood burner that would be very inviting in the cooler months. Lovely decor throughout and the bedrooms had everything you needed with a modern on suite . The breakfast was amazing, 5 star! And plenty of it Lovely personal touches, Sally gave us homemade cakes and drinks on arrival and the following day, a great treat! We we're made to feel very welcome and felt very comfortable staying there. A wonderful weekend away 😃 There was nothing not to like!

Extra nice touch was the cake to have with afternoon tea when one got returned from days activity. For families with children there is a Zip Wire centre in an old quarry just up ghe road.

We had a really great time there and would come back anytime! There‘s nothing we didn‘t like. Everything was perfect! If we would have to mention something, then maybe you can hear people from downstairs if you‘re a light sleeper. However, this is only a minor point; the apartment was a 10/10!
