It is always clean, the rooms are nice & clean, staff is friendly, food is great. Oh and, they welcome you with a nice glass of wine. The hotel is situated in the perfect place to walk to all of the stores and restaurants. I highly recommend.

David (6/5): Great on paper but the reality a very different. - The good was tainted by the bad. Myself and my wife chose the hotel for an extra special treat as we were on our Honeymoon. Check in went smooth but upon entering our room it was clear that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was a used band aid on the floor beside the bed, clearly visible as you enter the room. After that you would obviously look further and we found the room to be, hastily cleaned to accommodate the next booking. I sought another room, which I rarely do, but this left a bad taste after the money we spent. It's not cheap but we thought, why not it's our Honeymoon. Those at reception were unapologetic and more interested in getting me another room and out of there. If you take the room with the balcony and fire place you will be disappointed due to the street noise.

If you get a larger room and in a different area of the hotel I'm sure its very pleasant , so just check on that before you book
timke2022 (8/5): Late Checkout: $600 Please - I recently stayed at the Archer Hotel Napa and compared it to a Fairfield Inn in Sebastopol, which I actually rated higher overall. To be fair, the Archer is a nice hotel—clean, well-designed, and definitely high-end. It just didn’t feel worth the price for what I got. The biggest issue came at checkout. After a four-day stay, I asked for a late checkout. I was told I could have one extra hour, until 12 PM, but anything beyond that would require paying for a full additional night. Given the price point, that felt unnecessarily rigid. To make it more frustrating, housekeeping showed up right at noon to clean the room. On every previous day of my stay, housekeeping didn’t arrive until around 4 PM, so the timing felt especially abrupt. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but in my experience it didn’t match the value or flexibility I’ve had at other comparable properties.
mattmP3118UW (2/5): Don’t stay at the Archer! - I stayed at the Archer in December. I chose to use their valet service like I usually do at nicer hotels. I had just purchased a new vehicle. The day I checked out it was raining and we were quick to get in the car and drive home. Once home I noticed significant damage to the back of my vehicle. Over the past 4 months I’ve been dealing with the hotel and their insurance company to take responsibility for the damage they caused to my new car. They said because I didn’t notice the damage at the hotel that they aren’t taking responsibility. I requested to view the video of the front of the hotel at check out to prove their innocence, since it would show my cars damage, and they refused. This hotel doesn’t care about its clientele or doing what’s right. I would strongly suggest staying somewhere else the next time your in downtown Napa.

alexandraa626 (10/5): One of my favorite hotels - The room was beautiful! Fireplace on the balcony was a first for me. Enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening on the patio by the fireplace. Great tub for a bath. They provided a bath bomb and salts. Comfortable bed, great location. Staff was also so nice and seemed genuinely happy to be working there and taking care of people. Will be coming back!

Our room was very spacious and delighted us with its high-quality furnishings, including an incredibly comfortable bed, a generous bathtub, a terrace with sun loungers, and a well-equipped kitchen that is perfectly suited for wine lovers – just a few of the highlights. The staff were consistently extremely courteous and helpful – it felt as though every wish was anticipated before we even expressed it. If you are visiting Napa Valley and want to enjoy not only excursions to the surrounding wineries but also the charm of small-town life with great shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and bars, this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel was beautiful and it was dead center of downtown Napa which was incredible. We parked our car and didn’t have to drive all weekend after checking in. All the staff was friendly and helpful. My friend was a gifted a wine bottle to celebrate her 40th! I needed some extra help and noticed Jessy of housekeeping walking by my room. I stopped her and asked a question. She was so helpful, she really went out of her way to help me with my request and I was so thankful. Thanks so much Jessy!! Honestly, this has been the friendliest hotel I’ve stayed at. Every single person was kind and helpful and made our girls’ weekend incredible!

Bobby (5/5): Housekeeping and valet were amazing. Unfortunately poor reviews for the front desk. - Property is great like always. We were surprised with construction next door. Buyer beware. We usually stay at the archer once a year for my wife’s birthday get away. The construction next door seemed like the elephant in the room. The staff didn’t mention anything. So 8am the drills and beeps from construction trucks in and out throughout the day. The front desk seemed a lot less accommodating than usual. More defensive than trying to make us comfortable. Over all I will probably book at a different property next time.

Hotel was spacious and the decor fitting for Napa. Big shout out to Jessy from housekeeping who brought a little gift for the kids.

The room was extremely pleasant (perhaps with a bit of dust), and the rooftop was nice, though the view wasn’t particularly memorable. One downside: there was a noticeable smell upon entering the room, and I started sneezing—possibly from the curtains or carpet. In the end, though, it didn’t significantly impact the overall experience.

842philipi (2/5): This property suffers from theft - Sadly enough, this hotel is dealing with serious THEFT ISSUES which management is unwilling to fix or even review. I recommend the reader staying elsewhere if you have any valuable items. My story below. We stayed at the Archer Hotel Napa mid December 2025. When departing the property, I left my Stetson cowboy hat in the room ($1K+). Realizing this the next day, I contacted the Archer Hotel who informed me that nothing was reported yet (with a promise for a follow up notice). After 3 weeks of silence, I reached out again and was told that staff had not found the hat in the room. I must point out that the hat was packed in a special-purpose large box; given the size, special packing, value, and nature of the item, it is inconceivable that it would have been discarded as trash. Evidently, it was stolen. I then escalated this issue to management who mostly ignored my requests (I can share various emails for those who care). I did learn that there is security footage but access or review of it was denied (and one would wonder why that was not done in December following my first call?). This makes it evident that management (GM Michael Pace and Director of Operations Patricia Wilson) prefer to turn a blind eye and as such indirectly approves of staff holding on to left-behind items of value. Again: this is theft. I am now left with filing a report with the Napa Police Department.

TexasInkling (10/5): Great Stay in Napa! - This hotel is centrally located in Napa. The staff is extremely helpful and hospitable. Our room featured a comfortable bed and a balcony with a fireplace and a great view of the town. There is also a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view. The workout facility is also very nice. It was a quiet stay even though lots of other people were at this hotel when we were.

Everything - from the hotel lobby, amenities (such as breakfast and free wine tastings in the lobby), the room, the staff, and even the rooftop bar - were absolutely superb. The hotel is also located in a prime location in downtown Napa, where you can easily walk anywhere -from restaurants, shops, bars, and museums. An ideal hotel for a bachelorette! I want to highlight the Housekeeping staff, especially. I realized I left a coat in my hotel room when I already arrived home. I reached out to the hotel immediately to notify the staff of my lost item, and within a day, I was told that my coat was located and was able to be shipped out to me. My coat is now back with me, 3 days later. This level of care and service should be the standard for all hotels. This experience only made me certain that my next stay in Napa will once again be at the Archer Hotel.

It is an ideal location, right in the heart of Napa, an easy walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, and tasting rooms. From the moment we entered the hotel to checking into our room (469), everything was visually appealing and wonderfully decorated. Our housekeeper, Jessy, was very friendly and did a marvelous job of ensuring our room was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. She made sure our stay was a memorable one - thank you, Jessy! We look forward to returning to Napa and once again staying at Archer Hotel.

colleencC871YF (6/5): Hotel was great valet was hugely disappointing - My room had a random view of a roof. The bathroom was great, but the room itself was fair. It felt a little outdated. However, the most disappointing part was the valet. The young men that worked in the ballet were very unmotivated. They were not helpful with pulling up and parking, and they never offered to unload our bags or help load them. At 1.4 young men sat there and watched six women load their luggage and unloaded themselves at two different times. They never once offered to help instead they just sat there having conversation and ignoring us. We had to walk up to the kiosk to request our key. Coming from Texas and used to southern hospitality, this was extremely disappointing.

876darrenv (10/5): Concierge Lisa saved us! - We booked a wine tour ar Darioush for $300 and then showed up at Archer and our concierge Lisa said Archer had a deal with Darioush for a free tour. Lisa called Darioush and aggressively got us a refund for $300!!! We are extremely grateful!!! Stay at Archer was also amazing. Clean and beautiful room and facilities. Staff were all very nice, professional, and helpful. We will be back at Archer for sure.

U9793AIadrianaf (10/5): BEST Hospitality Ever - This is the best hotel experience we have ever had (and we are well-traveled)!! Their hospitality is superb. Archer Napa is beautiful and centrally located in downtown Napa. However, what makes this hotel spectacular are its staff. All staff (front desk, bartenders, waiters, valet, etc) were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Both concierges, Gil and Lisa, were warm and friendly and provided excellent recommendations (and made reservations for us at wineries and restaurants). They bat 100 out of 100!! Patricia, their director of operations, was truly impressive not only with her hospitality, but her team-work! On a busy morning, she jumped right in and sat guests and cleaned tables at their delicious breakfast restaurant.). This is a place that we absolutely looking forward to returning to!

Jennifer (7/5): The hotel is a splurge but the location and elegance make it worth a try. - We had lunch at the rooftop restaurant. The food was tasty but pricey for average food. The hotel is beautiful. A few small things that could use improvement. The bathroom was low on all the soap, lotion, body wash, etc. We called and the refilled with no problem. The only option to park your car is valet. This $34 per day which is high.

The room itself was spacious, clean and super comfortable. When we arrived there was on site wine tasting and live music which was an awesome surprise as well. We had drinks on the roof and breakfast at the hotel - both were fabulous!! The location is also perfect since you can walk to so many different spots. I’d definitely stay here again and can’t wait to come back!
