Highly recommend staying here! When visiting the Lancaster area
- Caitlin (10/5): - Anita was a gracious host. I appreciated her attention to detail. She made me feel so welcome.
- Sonya (10/5): - Enjoyed staying in a historic home. Snacks and bottled water provided in room. Delicious hot breakfast daily, Anita, the Inn owner is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
- Jeff (10/5): - Great host and spacious and comfortable king bedroom accommodations with en suite full bath plus lots of living area including couch, recliner, chairs, coffee table, small fridge. Amazing old, wide plank hardwood floors, solid wood doors with original hardware. Everything you could ever need was provided and a great homemade breakfast and treats as well. Will definitely stay here again if life brings us back this way. FYI rooms are on the second floor so require climbing stairs, may be an issue for mobility challenged persons. We just loved it here.
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful rooms with awesome breakfast. - My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Schoeneck B&B in Aug, 2023. It is a lovely, stone structure from the 1700's. The room was large and comfortable, with a private bathroom and cable TV. It had two air conditioners. Breakfast consisted of yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatos, coffee and orange juice. Everything was delicious. I definitely would stay here again. Highly recommended.
- Darlene (10/5): We would definitely go back! - What a wonderful place, with an even more wonderful hostess! Anita went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could think of needing or wanting. Beautiful building with comfortable beds. And Anita's breakfast just can't be beat! We'd go back in a heartbeat! Thanks for everything, Anita!

- Janet (10/5): - Where do I begin? We arrived to a warm welcome from the owner, Anita. She showed us to our room, and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The room was spotless, and very cozy and comfortable. The next morning, we went downstairs to an incredible homemade breakfast, complete with fresh berries, yogurt, eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. She was a wealth of knowledge about the area, things to do, and local happenings. She had many suggestions on where to eat and things to do. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Anita. When we left, we were sent off with a delicious pie, a new friend, and an awesome experience to share. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and will definitely be returning.
- Howard (10/5): - The hosts were honest down to Earth people. Anita went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She is also an excellent cook.
- JENIFER (10/5): WONDERFUL STAY!! - We had a wonderful stay. Mrs. Anita (caretaker/bell hop) was so sweet, so helpful, so accommodating!
Our beds were so comfortable, everything was clean. She left us snacks, she sent us out the door with fruit and pie if we didn't have time for her homemade breakfast. One day we were able to sit down for breakfast on our 3 day trip. She made us pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. She had the table set so beautifully! We had a great stay. HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in the area!!

- John (10/5): Fantastic stay! - The B&B is a fantastic, tastefully decorated, pre-1800 house. The room was comfortable & everything was very clean. The room was supplied w/an abundance of goodies & travel needs. The grounds were welcoming. But the real gem is the owner, Anita, who serves a wonderful hearty breakfast and is very accommodating making sure that her guests are comfortable & happy. She is a wonderful host & person & ended up being a friend who we miss already. Highly recommend this B&B for couples (w/o kids) travelling to this area who want to support local businesses and get a taste of what the PA Dutch Country people & lifestyles are like. Plus you can't beat the value!
- John (8/5): The twisted roads lead to a place of rest - Our hostess was ready to help and provided interesting information about the area.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The Property was amazing. Mrs. Anita was amazing. The only issue was getting lost trying to find the property.
- Maria (10/5): - Wonderful stay, very gracious host. Went out of her way to accommodate my daughter and I when we arrived late. She even sent us home with treats!! She serves a delicious breakfast too!
- Elisabeth (10/5): - I love old homes that are restored and used for B&B's or restaurants. The owners have done a wonderful job saving this very old property.
- Marci (10/5): - Anita made our stay comfortable and stress-free!
- Bernadette (10/5): - This is such an historic building and the owner is so accommodating, I can deal with the noisy roads at night and the lack of restaurants. The farmland in the larger area is BEAUTIFUL and very peaceful. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
- Carlos (10/5): - I absolutely loved this place! It was very clean and the woman who runs the place, Anita, is fantastic. She's the best part of the stay. She's such a sweet person and the breakfasts were wonderful. She takes a pride in getting the best and freshest ingredients and if you ask she'll happily tell you all about the food, the local markets etc. There was plenty of hot water, the beds were comfortable, the refrigerator was stocked with water and treats and there were snacks on the table. The street was a little noisy sometimes but anyone who has travelled (or lives in a city) knows to bring earplugs. I'll be going back the next time the ren faire is in town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Anita is a wonderful hostess. She made sure we had everything we could possibly need each evening we came in from touring around the area. We will go back and stay there again soon. Rooms clean and cozy, breakfast excellent both days.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - People very friendly and helpful.
Room a little small
- MaryBeth (10/5): - The home was built in the 1700’s and full of beautiful antiques.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location and Anita knew exactly where we would be able to find a white shirt for the wedding. My husband and I had a wonderful time at the bed and breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our room was charming
Anita was fabulous and breakfast was delicious
Will definitely stay there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Charming farmhouse with a hospitable hostess - Anita was incredibly friendly and hospitable. She went out of her way to talk to us about things to do in the area and make sure that we felt welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the decor led to some fascinating conversations. The B&B is in a quaint old farmhouse which has its rustic charm but also its quirks... the only issue we had was that the heating system was a bit erratic. Overall, though, a very nice experience.
- Bret (10/5): Old world charm and comfort - It was very clean and comfortable. The building was very old which added to the charm and the owner was very nice and accommodating and saw to our every need as well as being a wealth of information about the area! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing get away! We will definitely stay again when in the area..
- Denise (10/5): - This inn was great! Anita the innkeeper was very nice and very helpful. The inn was spotless and the extra treats available we delicious.
- Dominick (10/5): A hidden gem in Lancaster County! - This bed & breakfast hosted by Anita was very charming. If you're looking for a very relaxing and casual experience this is your place. Each morning you'll greeted by Anita in her exquisite dinning room for an wonderful country breakfast prepared by her. Anita is a wealth of information about the area telling you about places to site see, where to eat and shop.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property in the middle of Stevens, PA. One person more or less running it, but Anita is fantastic! Extremely accommodating, comfortable bed, private bath and excellent breakfasts. Our room was prepared with every possible amenity, including snacks and a frig. Only drawback--truck traffic noise in the mornings due to its being located on a main road. Otherwise, we'll be back and are recommending it to our friends!
- Anne n (10/5): Awesomeness - It was wonderful! Anita was the most accommodating individual. Her house is not only beautifully furnished but neat and clean as can be. Her home cooked breakfast was very filling. We will return. Thank you. She went out of her way to make us sandwiches bc we couldn’t be there for breakfast. Truly extraordinary
