- Penélope (8/5): Situación excelente - La ubicación era perfecta en pleno centro histórico de Arequipa. El personal de recepción muy amable en todo momento. Hay que tener en cuenta que no tiene ascensor y tienes que subir las escaleras con la maleta. Al estar al lado de la plaza de armas, puede haber ruido.

- Petra_slo (4/5): Not worth the price - Location was really nice and the view from the bar above was amazing. Staff was very helpful when we had some issues with the reservation. Our room was exactly under the bar, the music from there was super loud, we felt like we are sleeping in a disco. Water in the shower was only slightly warm. After showering whole bathroom was flooded. Also floor in the room was destroyed. We had some early tours every day, they said they will provide a continental breakfast, which included: dry crackers, one piece of candy and a cheap juice. None of the personnel spoke any English.

- J (1/5): Bad - The location was excellent, that's all there was to like. Trust me, look elsewhere Zero consideration for guests. Hotel has a roof top bar side hustle that blasted absurdly loud music late into the night. The bass made it impossible to relax after a long day, the thump was so loud it felt like it was in our room - sleeping through it was not an option, we also had an early rise the next morning. Hotel needs to decide if it is a night club or a hotel, if it's going to be both, it needs serious investment in sound proofing and training the DJ that he should care if guests are complaining, which we did multiple times only for it to continue thumping away. Wish I had read the other reviews before booking, clearly this is an ongoing issue that the hotel doesn't care about.

The rooms were filthy, the bathroom was a joke! The lighting was terrible and the shower pressure.....what pressure! The floors were grimy in the entire room. Oh and the Saturday night music and noise was unbearable through the NEED to have open windows because room was musty and damp!!! We did visit the rooftop bar, where the drinks were just ok, but the view was great! I wish we stayed somewhere else as there are many places to choose from.

- Jiri (8/5): The best location in Arequipa - Excellent location, just in the downtown, a few meters from the main square and the cathedral. Breakfast at the terrace basic, but ok. There was a heavy unpleasant music in the night coming from somewhere, probably from the terrace bar. I'm not sure if there were any guests at the bar, but the noise was really terrible and highly aggressive and annoying.

I strongly recommend to try their Salchipapas with some cold beer ;) Unfortunately, in the morning before check-out , electricity in the building was turned off. So, I couldn't charge my cellphone and had to take an ice cold shower... The bed in 303 wasn't very comfy.

Don't let the photos fool you, this is not a Boutique hotel, it is dated and dirty! It is really loud all night outside making it difficult to sleep, the bed was uncomfortable and had hair in, the creaky floorboards meant you were woken up every time someone walked down the corridor, the wifi was terrible, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

- Dexter (10/5): - I could not highly recommend them enough. Rates are extremely reasonable. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staffs are the nicest people you will ever meet. We arrived at 6am and we were welcomed wholeheartedly. This gem is situated in the HEART and SOUL Arequipa. You can literally throw a stone at the Carhedrsl. Its vibrant neighborhood is bursting with cultural activities. It has the colonial charm that every photographer dreams.

- Paty (10/5): - It's a colonial building with great upgrades and very spacious rooms. It's on an excellent location. We had a corner room that allowed us to see the main plaza and cathedral. The top terrace is used as the breakfast area, which by the way it's delicious, offering cereal and yogurt, fruits, bread and coffee, milk, juices and your choice of eggs. The service is outstanding, from the reception desk to the service of the room and breakfast. Beds are comfortable and the shower is always hot and strong. We loved to stay here and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Paul, Henry, Karen and our very favorite, Cynthia!
- P (4/5): - Location is good, but condition of the hotel is run down. Walls were marked and had paint bubbling. Floor of our room was very old hardwood that you could feel move under you. Curtains were ripped and towels upon arrival were threadbare. (they were later replaced with better ones). The breakfast offered was OK for one day, very basic. I would consider this a backpackers hotel, not one for couples or families.

- Patrick (6/5): Pleasant stay and great location - The location is perfect. All the activity seems to be within walking distance and it is good to be able to return to the hotel as often as wanted. The beds were very comfortable- great nights sleep. The rooms were clean. The shower was hot. The cable channels plentiful with premium movie channels for free. The rooftop dining a nice touch. But the best part was the friendly and helpful staff. They provided all we asked for with a smile and friendliness. However, the room sizes and designs are not optimum and they are missing some basic hotel amenities (phone, iron, hair dryer, safe, etc), had to request to have a chair in the room, but it was provided immediately. The bathroom was also tight.

- HH (6/5): Great location - Good if you're on a budget. Thin walls and creaky floors. Clean. Helpful staff. Nice terrace with views of cathedral and mountains makes for very pleasant breakfast and happy hour drinks at sunset. Pisco cocktails are fresh and yummy!
- Craig (10/5): Excellent location - This hotel is right next to the plaza and Cathedral. If you get a room on the street side, your view will be of the cathedral towers. Very nice rooftop deck witha gret view. Free breakfast is served up there. I also went up there in the evenings for a drink and they do serve a full dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and watched my bags while i was gone a few days on the Colca canyon tour. rooms could use a little updating, but it is OK, since I was only in the room to sleep and shower. Price was reasonable
- sandy (8/5): Great location next to Plaza del Armas - Loved the location, hot showers. Bed comfortable. Stayed Tuesday through Sunday. Room 203 overlooks walkway. Window opens for fantastic view. On negative or be aware: if stairs are a problem, this property might be an issue. 1 1/2 flights to Lobby and 2 flight to rooftop breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- Erick (10/5): Best location in Arequipa - Excellent location, I traveled with my family and we had a good time, breakfast in the rooftop was very good and the view from the window is excellent. It is a bit noisy at nights due to the proximity to the Plaza de Armas but if you are traveling this will not affect you.

- Kristine (10/5): Small, clean and perfect location! - My first impression of this place was a bit guarded. We had arrived very early after flying in from Cusco and finishing an Inca trail hike the day prior. They staff was very accommodating and let us check in early! They also arranged for our clothes to be laundered. We decided to do a Colca Canyon excursion the next night and so they stored our luggage and let us check back into the same rooms (cleaned of course) the following night. The breakfast upstairs on the terrace is wonderful, by that I mean she cooked us up some eggs to order when we arrived. The street noise could be heard from our room but eventually that all turns quiet and we slept very well. The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were just fine. The staff was perfect! I grew to just love this little gem on a busy street.
