Dans la même carrera pour prendre les jeeps Willis pour la Vallée de Cocora. Mais le + revient au restaurant de l hôtel. EXCELLENT. La viande, les pâtes, les petits déjeuners très copieux et très bons, servis avec le sourire. VRAIMENT, ne cherchez pas ailleurs. Descendez les marches de l hôtel au restaurant. Vous ne serez pas déçus. Rien . Tout était parfait

• Silvia (9/5): December 2025 - Good location, not so close of the crowded area. The breakfast is served at the restaurant across the street and it is quite good. The staff is very helpful.
• Diana (10/5): Excellent value, great food. - This is a very good value hotel in Salento. It’s no frills but very clean and comfortable. A short walk to the centre of town but only a few minutes and that makes it quieter. The restaurant where they serve the inclusive breakfast and dinner is opposite. We had one evening meal there which was fantastic with nice cocktails so if you are staying a few nights do support them. The owner of the hotel who also runs the restaurant is a really welcoming and friendly lady with excellent English. She invited my sons to play football on the training pitch next to the restaurant with local boys one evening which they loved. We used the hotel’s laundry service (quick turnaround) and they booked us a coffee tour.

El personal es super atento, simpatico y cercano. Igual el precio es un poco alto teniendo en cuenta que hay mucha mas oferta y mas moderna a mejor precio.

• Stef (9/5): Geweldig!! - Wat een geweldig verblijf. Mooie schone kamers en een heerlijk bed. Het personeel is heel gastvrij en behulpzaam! De locatie is ook top. Dichtbij het centrum maar geen last van geluid. Al met al top! Niks!
• Mairead (8/5): Salento is really pretty and we had an amazing time doing trekking on foot and on horseback. I would recommend staying - The rooms were especially pristine, the master bed was extremely comfortable and large. Sheets were luxurious. Three of our party were in the family room. The pub next door was very loud - music went on until after 3am on Saturday night. Sunday was before 1am. Not helpful when you are up early for treks etc. I was disappointed that the staff didn’t suggest an alternative room when I raised the complaint after Day 2 (the king room was super serene, by the courtyard). There were lots of empty rooms and I would have been happy to pay extra. Neither receptionist spoke English. The owners, Pedro and Belinda were friendly and accommodating, had extremely good English but were busy at the restaurant.
• Iraida (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanness, small, very quiet and relaxed hotel. Super nice personnel. Great restaurant just a few steps from the hotel. That the road in front is in construction. But it's not the fault of the hotel.
• Marzia (10/5): Exceptional - Although the hotel is very basic, the owners and staff made up for it. There was such great attention to needs of our family of 4 (two kids of 8 and 2) that it felt like home away from home. The restaurant is especially exceptional with a vast variety of delicious food (both local and non) and a football pitch that our son enjoyed! Transportation to and from the airport was great, as well as the tour they organized for us at the Finca El Ocaso! A small fridge would have been a plus, but managed without it!

• Youming (4/5): I do not recommend this hotel - Nothing much I would not recommend anyone to stay here. We didn’t have water to shower 2 out of 3 days during our stay. When we asked the staff, she said the town is out of water. However,other hotels had water to shower. A quick search on the review it seems to be a common problem other guests also experiences with this hotel. We didn’t receive any apology or compensation. In addition, the Wi-Fi of the hotel is extremely poor. The sound isolation is also poor (however that is common in Colombia).

• Beatriz (7/5): Good hotel for a small town - The hotel is well located, near the main square and walking distance to touristic options. The owners and staff are always available to help you. Also, the hotel have a very good one block away restaurant, which I absolutely recommend. Didn't like the breakfast isn't served in the hotel, but at the restaurant they own, one block away. The rooms didn't have tv cable or option to use it with apps.

• Adelene (9/5): Great stay at betatown hotel - Great location. Quiet at night. Helpful and friendly hotel staff. It was a bit hot for us as there was no AC, but hard to find a hotel in Salento with AC. The only “window” we could open would open to the courtyard so no privacy and light came in the room from the courtyard until about 10:40 pm (that’s when they manually turn it off). Breakfast was ok. A bit monotonous after the third day (eggs and bread with a bit of fruit). Why don’t hotels in Colombia offer more fruit?
• Philip (9/5): Delightfully decorate, immaculately clean spot in a quiet area with fabulous large comfortable beds. - Beautifully decorated in bright colors in the classical Salento style with tile floors throughout. The "windows" in each room are colorfully painted shutters with multiple panel that open. Very traditional and cheery. The entire hotel is kept immaculately at all times and there's a small but inviting garden in the courtyard. Bed was large, super comfortable, had nice linens and had pillows of different density so you can choose. Good towels and toiletries supplied and the shower had good pressure. I never needed hot water, so I'm not sure if it is available. Staff are fabulous, always cheerful, friendly and very helpful. Security is 24 hours and you leave your keys at reception. Location is quiet and quite close to the bus station. Breakfast was eggs (your choice), a small but tasty chorizo, arepas, juice, fresh fruit, coffee.and white or brown bread toast, all prepared freshly for each person. In fact the restaurant is also a great choice for lunch or dinner and they have a good selection of wines available in both full and half bottles. I regret not eating there until my last night. Because of the building materials, noise can carry if people are being loud. There is, however, no noise from the street as the hotel is on a quieter street a few blocks from the main bar area.
• Liina (9/5): Superb - The rooms were wonderful. Spacious and felt luxorious. The location is very good. The staff was very supportive and attentive. My special greetings go to the breakfast team! We stayed in Beta for 3 nights, and after 1 night they already knew our "special needs" and served it without saying a word :) Kudos also for the football/soccer field next to the breakfast area. It was great place for the kids to burn their energy while waiting for the family to finish their meal. Wifi could be better. It didn't even sync my Icloud, and none of our party of 8 people, could download important documents or log into governmental sites that needed special verification. SO.. if internet is a MUST for you, then reconsider. Social media worked fine. :) Also one thing you should take into account, that all rooms are open to the courtyard, which is public and shared. We had children with us, and of course they wanted to run around the open premises, also we woke up very early because of the time difference, so all the noise kids will make, is heard to the other rooms as well, because it's all so open. So I think we might have caused some trouble for other guests who would have loved to sleep longer than 8. ALthough we tried our best to keep everything very hushed at least till breakfast time. But I believe these types of open colonial style rooms it is pretty much so everywhere in Salento.

• Ina (10/5): In alle opzichten perfect. - In alle opzichten perfect. Gelegen op 5 minuten lopen van centrale plein. Familiebedrijf met de allure van een top-keten. Ontbijt in het tegenover het hotel gelegen restaurant (ook van de familie, helemaal top). Zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. Een aanrader!

• Catherine (8/5): Peaceful location and restaurant serves delicious food - The property is close to the centre of town without being noisy. It has a separate restaurant, which is excellent. I had dinner there as well as breakfast, which was included in the room price. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. The rooms all open onto a corridor or open air central space. This is fine except if there are noisy guests. There are no actual windows but you can close the shutters if you don’t want anyone looking into your room. More choice at breakfast would have been good.

• Charles (10/5): Clean, quiet, and convenient - Room was very clean. Window faced an interior courtyard. It was quiet as a graveyard at night, which is what I wanted for a peaceful sleep. (I didn't see any other guests at the hotel during my stay. I might have been the only one.) The hotel is only a short (3-5 min) walk to the town square. All the front desk staff were pleasant to deal with, and they were patient with my minimal/awful Spanish. The only quirky thing is I had to leave my room key with the front clerk every time I exited the hotel. Nonetheless, I found this hotel quite good for a two-night stay, was very pleased with its cleanliness, and would stay there again.

The only con I have is that the rooms have poor ventilation. There are windows, but they open into the hotel’s hallways. I wish the room had a fan or exterior-facing but windows. Other than that, it was a good stay.

• Ashley (7/5): Overall good, not great. - Location was good. Not too far from the square, but far enough to not get all the main square noise. Breakfast was good. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly. We paid for 4 people in the family room, but ended up with a 5th person, which we informed them of right away. After a few hours, they called us and said we needed to book a second room. So we did, and wanted two people in that room and three in the family room. But they made us pay for two people in the new room, even though we'd already paid for four people. So we paid for 6 people instead of 5. It was very frustrating.
• Nathalie (2/5): PÉSIMO - Esta gente literal se robo mí dinero. No lo recomiendo. Cero colaboradores y te cobran sin haber utilizado los servicios. Pésimo servicio. Muy groseros
• Jacquelyn (8/5): Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. - Location, clean and comfortable. Quiet. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. Rooms could have a little more ventilation- a little dark but overall a good stay.
• Carlos Alberto (10/5): Buenas instalaciones, servicio y costo. Recomendad - Es una excelente opción de hotel, con un costo adecuado. Está cerca del parque principal.. La atención fue muy buena.
• Amber (8/5): - The staff here was very friendly and helpful and it was in a nice, quiet and safe location. Rooms were generally comfortable and clean, but lacked charm. A few tweaks and touches would fix this and make them more inviting. The sister restaurant where breakfast was served had a lively atmosphere with helpful staff/owner willing to give welcome advice about the beautiful and vibrant Salento area!
• Hanan (8/5): - We arrived to Salento before check in, room was ready to put our luggage. Alexandra at the front desk was very helpful, and welcoming, she spoke a little bit of English wish was great. Hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood and walking distance to everything.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Bonito y apacible - Excelente alternativa de hospedaje, el servicio de restaurante es excepcional, solo faltó prever los elementos de aseo pero fueron rapidamente solucionados. Recomendado 100%.

• Elena (8/5): Very good - room very large, wonderful position, very kind staff a little bit cold in the room.
• Andres (6/5): - Nice little hotel in the middle of Salento. Perhaps a bit pricey for what it offers as it is very basic. The hotel setup means there are no windows or natural sunlight into the rooms which would be ok if there was at least a heater in the room: Salento is a cold town and the hotel rooms get really really cold in the nights!
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Our stay here was good! However, getting the hot water to work was a little complicated but that’s due to not being used to the shower beforehand. Definitely recommend staying here!
