Guest Reviews
- Thomas (10/5): - For how low the price was i was very impressed with how nice and big my room was would definitely stay again
- Emily (10/5): - Would recommend, stayed as a solo traveller and was a safe area and very welcoming. Very accessible to the centre without being right in it. Trams and station nearby as well
- Virginie (10/5): - Breakfast is delicious, rooms very comfortable. Receptionists are nice
- Hamish (8/5): - Lovely clean room, nicely styled and very comfortable. Unfortunately the room smelt a little like stale cigarette smoke.
- Rachel-Audrey (10/5): - Clean room, fantastic vegan restaurant downstairs, lovely view of the city. While some of the staff was nice and professional, other members had absolutely no hospitality skills. But the room itself was great.
- Aliaa (6/5): - Generally the hotel os good, excellent location, nice staff. The only downside is the room cleaning, the cleaner merely made the bed, failed to change the towels and vacuum the floor.
- Kuo (4/5): - Initially, I wasn’t planning to leave a negative review, but the stay was below expectations. The air-conditioning didn’t work for half my stay, and the hair dryer was broken until it was replaced after I reported it. The towel and bed sheet weren’t very clean, and my ankle started itching after the first night. There was also a short water outage in the morning.
Most staff were very friendly, but a female staff member I met on my last day seemed impatient when I asked about leaving my luggage. Overall, the service was good but unfortunately the building felt old and poorly maintained.
- Marmalade2004 (4/5): Wouldn't recommended. - I booked this hotel with high expectations and I was really excited to stay here as its fully vegan. Now the café/restaurant attached to the hotel is absolutely fantastic.
The hotel however is not, the aircon stunk of eggs, we aired it out but even after the smell had gone it barley worked and was pretty pointless. The shower is tiny, I kept hitting my arms on the doors, the shower pressure is very powerful and I do love a powerful shower but in such a cramped space it was quite painful.
I wouldn't say its close to the old town either its quite a walk to be honest.
Staff wise really friendly and helpful apart from our last day, we paid for breakfast but ended up having to leave early so asked if we could have a breakfast box just some croissants, something simple, we requested this the day before we left and were told that was fine as we had already paid for the breakfast but on check out we were told we couldn't have them! We had actually paid £30/40 for this! They said we owed them money for a coffee that we had paid for two days before! We told them we had paid and were still met with a NO from the café staff!! so the hotel actually owes me money now! This was such a shame and really was disappointing. Overall I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel and I am yet to write a review on some vegan travel pages and I wont be recommending them unfortunately. I left so disapointed.
- Ingrid (8/5): - Convenient location, lovely breakfast and great stay overall.
- davidtW1091EO (10/5): A gem in Prague - What a gem of a hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely looked after, not in a scripted way, but with real heart. Everything was smooth, simple, and just… right. Perfect for a business trip. Great design without being flashy, service with a smile (and some personality!), and that rare feeling that the team actually enjoys what they do. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how hospitality should feel. Hats off to the people behind it. I’ll be back.
- Nimesh (10/5): - Clean and friendly hotel in good location near Wenceslas Sq.
- Molly (10/5): - Beautiful hotel and in a great location! Friendly staff as well
- 275enav (10/5): Loved it! - Best hotel experience, photos do not do the justice how clean, tidy and comfortable the rooms are.
Hotel staff is amazing, welcoming and very friendly.
10/10 would book this hotel for every Prague visit and is very close to the center.
Loved it!
- Steven (8/5): Nice but not boutique - A nice hotel but its not really a boutique hotel. There is renovations still ongoing.
I had a lovely room on floor 3 but wifi was bad so had to move to a small cupboard room on the 6th floor where wifi worked.
Breakfast is all vegetarian. Staff friendly.
- Stuart (10/5): - Fabulous stay, lovely staff and great food. Would highly recommend.
- Sayna (10/5): - The location is in a great spot. 10-15 min walking to old town. The room were clean and staff were so nice and helpful. I did not gave a bad experience, only at mid night some guests were not thoughtful and talking loud in hall way and slamming the door. Overal everything was great. They also have a vegan restaurant and my room included with breakfast and food was great.
- nicolamB1848SY (2/5): worst hotel ever how dare tui call it a 4 star - hotel was awful, smoke alarms covered up a complete health hazard and woken up to drilling and banging and chatter out side the room. it was so bad I'm sat here down 6 floors having a awful breakfast and can still hear the drilling!
best advice is avoid
- Jessica (8/5): - Good location, clean, and safe. Nice restaurant, bedroom, and bathroom. The lift is a bit small and there is only 1 lift so it's a bit slow. But apart from that great value for money!
- ankem861 (10/5): 3 days holiday - Very nice hotel in a perfect position. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff very very friendly. The small restaurant from the hotel is a nice and cosy place. The vegan food is the best I've ever tried and also vegan breakfast is delicious.
- 90linc (8/5): Nice hotel - Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and very clean. This is a vegan hotel and has a limited breakfast menu but I can highly recommend the waffles. hotel is very central to all attractions and Prague is a walkable city. We had a nice stay here
- 347esmew (8/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel, great location so close to everything in Prague. Blanket on the bed had a few stains but apart from that the room was perfect, very comfortable bed. Would recommend for a cheap hotel near the city centre. Staff were very welcoming and spoke many languages.
- eringZ5KN (2/5): Rotten Meat in the Walls - awful hotel. on the second day the door frame fell off the bathroom door and inside was a load of rotting meat covered in maggots and insects. after telling the staff it took almost 24 hours for it to be cleaned up meaning we had to sleep in the room with the rotten chicken. the only compensation the staff offered was a free breakfast which the only options were vegan. Rude staff and filthy room i don’t think anyone should stay here.
- zhe (10/5): - Safe area, great hotel.
- Youri (10/5): - Our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is really well situated, easy walking distance to the main squares, metro, tram, and train stations close by. At times, the room was a bit noisy with noise coming from floors above.
- Vikram (10/5): - It was one of the better places I stayed in my trip. Room was spacious and the bathroom was clean
- ANNE (8/5): - This hotel is further away from the main train station than we thought. Dragging suitcases on cobblestones is not fun. Get an Uber! Our room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a cart with shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on.
- bruce r (10/5): - Normal room etc
- Lydia (10/5): - Lovely property
- Arielle Sheinberg (10/5): - Great hotel for a very good price!
- Christos (8/5): - An OK hotel for our first night. Lovely vegan breakfast in the adjoining restaurant.
Strange that a hotel claiming to be vegan friendly advertising a steak restaurant in the bedroom.
- Ran (6/5): Mixed feelings - Centrally located and the price is good. Upon entering the room greeted by a large - albeit friendly - spider, who later disappeared from view. “Double” bed made out of two single ones, so danger of falling between the cracks. Most pleasant experience: accidentally left phone in a Bolt cab, and night receptionist went out of his way to help. Thanks pal! Most annoying part: mini fridge not working and staff said this is a feature, not a bug - so I had to drink tepid Coke throughout my stay.
- ranarad (6/5): Nice, but... - I'm staying in the hotel right now. It's centrally located and the price is OK. But still somewhat disappointing compared to what I expected.
The room is nice but a bit shabby. I was greeted by a big friendly spider weaving its net in one of the corners, but it got frightened and disappeared.
The thing which troubles my most is the in-room fridge / mini-bar. It does not cool, which I feel defies to whole purpose. I went to the supermarket and bought some coke and yoghurts, but it seems that I can only store them in the lobby fridge if I want to keep them cold. Hopefully they wouldn't mind if I wake up at 2am, feeling I need some ice-cold coke, and crawl into the lobby in my underwear ;)
Let's see how the next few days unravel. Stay tuned!
- Madina (8/5): - Great localisation. Staff was nice. The restaurant was really really good. Would recommend!
- Melissa (8/5): - Lovely hotel very friendly and helpful.
- aude (10/5): - Lovely hotel, clean and well located
- Antonio (10/5): - Great hotel. Highly recommended.
- KjA0706 (8/5): Good hotel as a central base in Prague - I write this review with the price in mind - it isn’t anything fancy but it is exactly what you need for a base in a great location in Prague.
Room was clean and beds comfy - fridge in the room was a nice touch. We found it quite quiet considering the location which was also great!
We arrived at 11am expecting to just leave our bags but they had a room available and let us check in which was greatly appreciated after a very early start!
Bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade and the air con unit was very noisy! Considering it was approx -5 outside we had to put it on heat but found we could only do it for a little bit before turning it off because of the noise!
It did warm the room up quite quickly tho, just not ideal in the night as it got quite cold.
We didn’t make use of the restaurant as we are not vegan but it looked nice - only downside of being a non vegan in this hotel was no milk for morning coffee facilities in the room! Other than that it didn’t matter so wouldn’t let it put you off if you are not vegan.
- Holly (6/5): - Staff were nice and welcoming. Bedroom was nice however the bathroom is quite old and every time we returned to the room after it had been cleaned we saw silverfish all over the bathroom.
- susan (10/5): - Lovely hotel would stay there again
- Mark (10/5): - The Salvator Boutique Hotel was good value and within a walkable distance from all the points of interest in the city.
We never ate at the hotel as there are any number of cafes/restaurants nearby.
Would not hesitate to stay here again if we decided to return to Prague.
- Fearless33321907028 (2/5): Do not recommend to stay in this place, there are numerous nice hotels in Prague. - Horrible staff attitude and smelly room.
I booked this hotel for my parents as it is next to main railway station, so they could navigate easily even walking. Due to flight delay they managed to check-in only in the morning the next day. To make a story short, for 7 hrs extra stay - staff changed them the rate which is more then the normal whole day stay. More over bathroom was so smelly that they had to keep windows opened all the time.
- 41asafr (10/5): Informal, clean, lovely and vegan! - We came for almost a week, for our wedding. it was great to have a vegan atmosphere and an exquisite vegan restaurant. staff was friendly and helpful, generous with recommendations and available. The room was clean and the view was stunning. we had a really lovely time. thank you
- Karen (8/5): - Was a good hotel in a good location. Was a little noisy at night. 4.5 stars
Would recommend
- Ellen (8/5): - Not in central location, but it’s walkable to the old town.
- Lucie (10/5): - Like the 24 hrs desk front
Feel secure for travelling alone
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location. The room could use a little more attention to detail in regards to its cleaning. A lot of hair found from previous guests in/on sheets, on the toilet and generally could use wipe/sweep.
- Erikfs101 (8/5): Nice place - Nice Hotel
Clean rooms, good size
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Good location, Would return.
The breakfast in an attached restaurant could use some work. Staff not very friendly or helpful.
The vegan menu is not so desirable. We didn’t even eat the 2nd day.
- Theresa (10/5): - Very friendly staff
- Mario (6/5): - They showed a room refrigerator in their summary of amenities however it was not functional when I arrived. The staff was not very engaging. No plans to return.
- Nancy (10/5): - Great location.
- Andy (10/5): - My 2-bedroom suite is very spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and able to communicate effective in English. The vegan restaurant downstairs serves wonderful breakfast with plate setting. The best Belgian waffle I haven’t had for a long time.
- JAMES (10/5): - Staff very polite, helpful, room very clean, bed very comfortable I would definitely recommend this hotel
- Paul (10/5): Very satisfied - It was an amazing stay with my friends. The receptionist Alvaro is a very good guy who attended to us very well especially when we had problem locating the car park. The room is very comfy and a good window view of the city. The air conditioner is in good shape. The hotel is close to all tourist site which we visited by foot. The only negative thing is that there is no water in the fridge which is not good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place for breakfast
Fine breakfast but it could be more different food
- Verified traveler (8/5): it's ok - Good location and clean. Although there are no double beds, they just put two single beds together which aren't fixed,so you end up sleeping in the gap. Room service didn't change the towels or top up tea and coffee selection. Have never experienced this in any other hotel, especially four star as they claimed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was very clean and friendly we loved our stay.
- raymond (10/5): - Friendly service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Fab hotel, lovely clean room, comfy beds and pillows
Breakfast was good, a good selection to choose from.
Staff were friendly and polite.
Great location, fairly central to all the "tourist" spots.
Nothing bad to say about this place at all. I'd stay here again.
- John (10/5): Well worth the visit . - Don’t be put off by the ordinary roadside location. Once inside we couldn’t fault the service by all the staff . Room facilities were spotless and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Very close to the old town without be noisy . Overall, a very peaceful and relaxing visit at Christmas time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was in a pretty good location just a short walk from Wenceslas Square and about a 15 minute walk to the old town centre. The hotel was clean and the rooms where nicely decorated. There was a large mini bar in the room which was reasonable but there was also space to put your own drinks etc.
Breakfast was really good, basic continental breakfast with hot options such as eggs (scrambled and fried) sausages, bacon and some veg options. Really nice quality and great coffee!
We had a room at the rear of the hotel on the 2nd floor and had the window open most of the time and it was really quite, the hotel itself was also really quiet!
Overall we had a great stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good base to explore prague!
- Geoff (8/5): - It was bright, airy and well maintained.
Staff were friendly and very helpful
Breakfast was excellent,
Good value for money.
My only dislike was the shower recess was very small, much like you would expect to find on a ship, not a hotel. This was a little strange, as the bathroom was big enough to accommodate a larger shower.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel offers a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the location to the city centre was excellent too. It take 15 mins max to get to the old town square. I would also recommend the Rum House across the road. Just superb!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Passing through. Just needed a night’s rest.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Every thing in walking distance. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and very well located. Breakfast is very complete
- Verified traveler (8/5): - good location staff very helpful
spacious rooms with new showers
- F.B. (8/5): - Good location and close to train station . Clean and good size room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was unique and reception were very welcoming ..breakfast was lovely too
- Verified traveler (10/5): CUTE BOUTIQUE HOTEL!!!! - Cute boutique hotel! Clean, great staff, great breakfast varities our kids enjoyed.
- Michelle (8/5): - Great location. Very easy to get to everything we wanted to see and do.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and nice place to stay. The service is good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful hotel; easy walk from the railway station and then right round the corner from Wenceslas Square.
Easy walks down to the Old Town, the main sights and the restaurants.
Staff at the hotel were marvellous, so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them , even posting my post cards!!!
Breakfast food was plentiful and tasty with a good variety of hot and cold options.
It’s very much a boutique hotel, however the room was sufficiently big enough for me, with good air conditioning, en-suite bathroom and endless tea and coffee making facilities 👍👍👍
I was sad to leave 😢
- Vanessa (8/5): - Need new towels
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really clean and tidy. Modern interior. Very polite and helpful staff. On a busy road but the windows blocked out all the sound. Excellent air con. Superb hot water in the shower.
Breakfast, a good choice available, from 7-11am so well worth including in the deal. Not in the old town but only about 10-15 min walk through Wensleslas Square to get there. I’d happily stay there again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and spacious. Super location. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
- AY (10/5): - Good location
Shopping and amenities
Good food options
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great value for the location.
Walking distance to old town center, train station and the National Museum.
Friendly and helpful staffs.
Room is clean and well equipped.
Good quality breakfast.
Good affordable restaurant nearby.
Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great deal for such a good location. Walking distance to historic old town center. Building is old but recently renovated. Room, bathroom and hallway are all spacious. All amenities are in great condition. Staffs are super friendly. Free breakfast has good verities. Our room is super quiet even though the hotel is facing a busy street. We are very happy with our stay and will highly recommend this hotel.
- Sam (10/5): - Great location , clean hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. Highly recommended
- Joe (10/5): - Very good hotel in new town, close to everything. I recommend it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location central for walking around the old and new town
Lift was terrible especially as we were on 6th (top) ) floor
Only one lift ridiculous
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location everything in walking distance the cleanliness wasn’t bad felt like the floor was always dirty. Hannah on reception was amazing very helpful.
Recommend this hotel if you come to Prague.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great staff, decent size of room, good location all walking distance
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Really nice hotel overall and is recommend. Very clean and modern. The only downside to the hotel is WiFi is not great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): overall was good - Overall was good but the bedsheet and towel if more clean will be better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They provided a beautiful buffet breakfast which was included in the price of the room. My wife is a celiac who also doesn’t eat meat, and there were enough choices for her.
We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant one day; a very nice meal that was reasonably priced.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good hotel close short walk to the main centre. I would recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved the stay! - Wonderful hotel in a great location - 15 min walk from the train station, 20 min walk to the old town. Would stay again for sure next time I visit Prague.
Only other advice I can give is to avoid the "cafe" attached to the hotel - over-priced and underwhelming food. The Italian place out the hotel door and a few steps to the right is absolutely outstanding though!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - 4.8 out of 5 stars:
Customer Service: 5
Location: 5
Breakfast: 5
Lobby: Clean, warm and inviting to sitting & relax
Room: Clean & comfortable.
The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars from me is because the Shower was a little small & no shelf to place shampoo or body wash. Plus, dresser or place to place your bag on.
The customer service was 5 star, Marie & Hannah (I think that was her name) were top notch. They were friendly, gave great advice & super helpful with all of my needs. They will tell you about the Money Exchange place right around the corner from the hotel. They really made my stay simple and terrific. Plus, Len-ka the young lady who worked in the café was awesome friendly, polite and just really a nice person. The whole staff was top notch.
The location of this hotel is perfect, you are in walking distance from everything. If the breakfast is offered in your package take it, you will not be disappointed. The breakfast has eggs two different ways, breakfast meats, sausage, bacon, potatoes, roasted vegetables and many other hot items. Trays of meats & cheese, jams & other spreads. Fresh juice, coffee, cereal, fruit, fruit salad, & croissants & breads. Just amazing buffet of really good food.
This is a wonderful hotel and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
- Michele (10/5): - Nice hotel, close to train station and Wenceslas Square
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was in a great location. Everyone was very accommodating and the hotel room was very clean. They arranged rides for us and gave us helpful directions when asked.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were very pleased from begining to end with our stay at the Salvator Boutique Hotel.
The Reception staff was helpful and professional.
Thank you for a beautiful stay!
- Dr (10/5): - Ideal location, really helpful staff and excellent facilities. The rook was of a very high standard with all the amenities you would require.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved staying at this hotel. Super clean and cosy hotel, easy to find and very close to the city centre. Rooms are very big which was amazing. We needed an iron at some point, and they helped us straight away.
Breakfast is delicious and very varied, cheeses, ham, prosciutto, salami, bacon, sausage, eggs, vegetables, cereals, yogurt, honey, nutella, jam, croissants, cakes, tiramisu, fresh juice, tea, coffee. Great Breakfast!! Staff are very friendly and willing to help you.
The only small issue was when we had to check out, as I drank one bottle of wine from minibar (price shown on the fridge was €3), however they charged us with 170 CZK, which are €6.6...Probably the lady made a mistake as she did not speak English very good. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and we definitely recommend this hotel. P.S. We also received a bottle of wine from them for our anniversary. Big thanks!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall ok. Not really near to attraction though..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Good facilities. Helpful staff. Good value.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, modern and good value for money. Checking in and out very efficient. Short walk to metro. Downsides - the Queen side bed was just 2 singles pushed together and standard of bedding felt cheap. But overall a good standard of accommodation for local area and price. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely hotel in a nice location at a very affordable price. The only issue we found was that the double bed was in fact two singles pushed together.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Situated in a convenient location. Reasonable breakfast and as requested was put in a quiet room. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful. Giving very useful tourist information. The shower was quite small fortunately so are we. Plenty of toiletries and tea coffee making facilities. For the price we paid was great value. Couldn’t fault it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was great,...
Reception, Rooms are clean, very nice hotel.5 min to the downtown
