Guest Reviews
- Cheryl (1/5): Very bad experience - Nothing Shower didn’t drain properly, no working fan in bathroom, Air conditioner hard to regulate and very loud. Sink did not drain properly. Bed hard to get comfortable in, poor sleep.
- Helene (8/5): It was adequate for the price - Location great. Was suffice. The lamps n side tables were filthy. The hairdryer did not Work.
- Alicia (10/5): I love staying here. No matter what’s going on they are so kind!!! - Clean and great staff How nice the staff are
- Candi (6/5): - The bed and pillows were comfortable The room was not cleaned well at all. The headboard was covered in handprints. There was hair all over the shower and tub. Chunks of dirt on the floor showed it was not swept well either. The chair in the room had a white stain so I was afraid to sit in it.
- BryD (7/5): - Quiet Water pressure
- Whitney (8/5): -
- Celina (8/5): -
- Susan (2/5): It was not the Hampton Inn, but I knew that when I booked it. But that was no excuse not to care. - I use to stay at this motel when it was Richland Inn. I have fond memories of the friendliness of the people and the cleanliness and updated furniture in the room.
I did enjoy how quickly the room's AC worked and the waffles you could make for breakfast. Breakfast: Even though the eggs and meat was not freshly made, it still could have been hot. One day, there was very little food set out
Staff: I only had contact with one service desk manager. He didn't speak much and wore the same clothes every day we were there: pants and a Halloween sweater with the hood over his head. I didn't even see staff walking in the ground.
Bathroom: The water knob on the shower was stuck so you could only get HOT water. Found a way to correct it. The toilet had to be flushed twice in order to get everything down.
Room: Desk chair was falling apart and peeling. They didn't make up the beds but changed the towels and emptied the trash. The cleaner also left a strong reefer smell that took a while to air out.
Parking: Too close to each other and solar panels. There was a construction crew
that stayed one night and they were in front of our door. They got out a grill to make dinner, were polite when we passed and there was no mess in the lot. Still it would have been nice if the manager would walked around more.
- Maria de Lourdes (4/5): Below the expectations. - The location was good. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom clean. The room smelled like if someone had smoked in there, although it was a non-smoking room. The breakfast service is very poor, no fruit or eggs are offered, only carbohydrates of little nutritional value.
- Kay (1/5): Nasty ass place - First off this place was dirty bed sheets and all I got pic to prove They got bugs big cockroaches
- Greg (9/5): -
- Memphis (8/5): I enjoyed my stay - Location was right near the family house
- Cody (9/5): -
- Jennifer (9/5): - Clean and comfortable Little off the main highway
- Greg (2/5): Horrible - The water was wet Everything
- PeÑa (6/5): Hotel just for rest, not for family - The location is great. Cost of day is fine, Around is peacefull, easy access. The breakfast is bad, it looks like they had been cooking for a days ago, clean services is bad, they just change towels and supplies, the floor was dirty since the beginning. The air-conditioned was broken and too old.
- Hari Krishna (9/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): We stayed here waiting to get our house ready. The staff made sure we were taken care of and were so nice. I love stayin - I love the staff and cleanliness of the rooms Nothing i love it just the way it is
- Alicia (10/5): Me and my kids enjoyed our stay and tennis definitely enjoyed the complimentary breakfast - The friendly staff and cleanliness I didn’t have any issues
- Jeremiah (4/5): - The staff was we encounters was great, but the air conditioning didn’t work.
- JANEL (2/5): Dirty rooms - Dirty room, dirty bed, Horrible how can they say this is a clean room ready for a guest? The lady in the office was nice but slow. Switched us to a different room, that was similar. The sheets were stained.
- Julia (2/5): - Linens and room dirty
- MiKayla (10/5): -
- erica (10/5): -
- Samantha (2/5): - Requested reimbursement and was denied after being there for 3 hours. Will never go there again
- Bobby (7/5): Good -
- Bill (8/5): Good - Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Melissa (10/5): - Just happy it worked out for us
- Rinehart (1/5): Bad -
- Joel (5/5): Passable -
- MAGDALIZ (4/5): - The price was the only think ok with this property. It was cleaned, I can tell the sheets were washed, staff was nice and attentive. The room smelled as if someone had smoked in it. The sheets smelled like they were properly washed, but had holes in them, from cigarette burns. Not a great place to stay, but at least we slept.
- Willie (4/5): Disappointing -
- David (8/5): - Convenient to the freeway.
- Karla (1/5): Dirty - Roaches, didnt even stay the second night. No refund Roaches
- Jessica (3/5): Was not clean - Front Desk was nice Hairs in bed, dirty sheets, dead bugs in bathroom. Smelled like marijuana. Fridge didn’t work.
- Wilecia (8/5): - I'm still here. I checked back in. It's cool
- Cincera (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jim (6/5): - Not many staff members spoke english, and I dont speak spanish. That created a big problem a couple of times.
- Ash (5/5): Our storm adventure 🤣 - We needed a place to go because the weather was suppose to be really bad where we live in Alabama. We live in a mobile home and have pets that the storm shelters here wont allow and we couldn't leave our furbabies behind. This hotel allowed me to bring my pets and im very grateful for that. Also I didn't see any bugs so that was a plus. It wasn't clean and there was alot of people staying there in the back and selling drugs.
- Aldo (5/5): Passable - The room was filthy, the bathroom bath dirty not worth the price
- Rebecca (10/5): - Check in friendly
- James (5/5): Passable -
- Ledbetter (9/5): Superb - Affordable, staff was very friendly and helpful. Faucet in the bathroom was loose
- Megan (5/5): Passable -
- Lynne (1/5): Bad - The rooms were dirty, the ac was noisy, and it was ill maintained.
- Denise (8/5): Very good -
- Bowen (6/5): Pleasant - Stayed 9
nights, bed was geeat Floors were not very clean
- Alicia (10/5): - The facility is older, loose tiles in the bathroom and it smelled like cigarette smoke. But the linens were clean and the bed was really comfortable.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (1/5): Do not stay at this hotel. Horrible needs to be shut down. - nothing but hot water Conformters were very wrinkle but were white. Bed sheets made everyone itch, mold around shower mat and shower walls, floor wasn't mopped, tabletops hadn't been wiped, went to get breakfast at 8:20am and man at desk told us everything was frozen and he couldn't make more eggs sausage or biscuit so we had no breakfast for 2 dietetics in the group but keep in mind there was 40 minutes left until breakfast would be over.
- Matt (8/5): perfect for what i needed. cheap - didnt have breakfast. mainly due to other reviews.
location was perfect as it was only up the road from where i was working. plus shops and restraunts. there was what i can only describe as a resident staying a few doors down. he was stood outside his door when i left in the AM and the same when i come back in the PM. mostly smoking weed or playing music
- Sergio (6/5): Pleasant - Nothing, really is a low quality hotel Noise from Refrigerator, from the bed, from AC, Breakfast sort,
- Carlton (1/5): Have someone call me: 816-896-8636 - Room 124 had a wolf spider, literally a 1-1-1/2” diameter one, on the floor in the bathroom, next to a moldy section of baseboard & flooring beside the shower base. That was one awful looking bath, ok? TAKE IT OUT OF SERVICE ASAP
Your overnight manager quickly got us moved & made it a bit better. Late at night as it was, we weren’t up for driving elsewhere. He’s a young black man. Tattooed forearms, he was VERY polite & apologetic. Zero issue with the man.
I have video on my cell phone of this spider moving around. As well as that moldy bathroom trim. Our other room was OK. Had a decent night’s sleep, & thankfully didn’t encounter any other spiders.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Blankenship (2/5): Very poor -
- Mc (3/5): Will not stay there again, I am glad I was only there 1 night. - I like how close it was to the University. Breakfast was a joke, the room was worn, the bed was lumpy, there was no security latch on the door, when the door was closed you could see light coming through, the buttons on the AC were broke.
- Justin (2/5): - When we arrived there where at least four people in the lobby. I am assuming these where friends or family members of the property owners or the staff at the time. No one was behind the counter to check us in. We had to wait for a gentleman to get up from his seat in the lobby. The additude the gave was as if we were an inconvenience/ disturbing his conversation. He started to check us in, and then a lady came up to the counter and he pushed us off onto her. She displayed the same additude of us being an inconvenience. Once we got into the actual room, which took us a few minutes to find because all we were told was your room is located in the back building, but not that the odd rooms were in the front. We found that the room had the distinct odor of pot. Also when taking a shower the water was barely warm, and did not last long. Also it seems that this property is used as an extended stay hotel as there were a few people that had lawn chairs they placed outside their doors. Over all I would not recommend this hotel.
- Bobby (8/5): - Comfortable
- Kevin (7/5): Good -
- Alisha (2/5): - The smell in our room is so bad that I cannot sleep and feel nauseous. The room is filthy and gross. There is grime and dirt easily visible everywhere. I don’t want to touch anything. The air conditioner unit is so loud and it still feels muggy and soggy in here with it on. I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied. The pictures online make this place look way better than it is. I won’t dare to eat the breakfast they offer. This is so gross
- Shunteshia (1/5): Nasty & Terrible Customer Service - When we open the door to our room the smell of cigarette smoke 💨 slaps us in the nose . Which is terrible if it claims it’s a no smoking 🚭 hotel . We went to look at the bathroom and the tub and the toilet is disguising, neither looked like they’ve been cleaned in months . There was a mat in the shower and it was so buildup dirt and hair under it 🤮. The next morning I went to the front desk to ask if he’ll send someone in to clean the bathroom and he catches an attitude with me and proceeds to tell me that my card was declined and I explained to him that the money was taken off of my card . He then to continues to argue with me and then says the payment was pending . Needless to say he argued because I wanted the bathroom cleaned , which in return I never got it cleaned even after my request. Definitely wouldn’t come back or recommend to anyone . I honestly believe I deserve some of my money back .
- Georgia (1/5): Worst place to stay ever! - Nothing! You could see light around the door. The room was rough and the included breakfast was not available. The people in the room next door were in and out with people coming and going all night.
- Samuel (2/5): Very poor - I booked a room not smoking! And
it stunk of Cigarrette so bad!!
- Kristin (6/5): Check-in difficulties, but nice room - Check-in was a nightmare. Even though I had booked and paid for the room, the person working the desk said he had no reservation for me. We arrived at the hotel at 3:10 p.m., but were not checked in until 4:15 p.m. It is only when the clerk actually talked to a hotels.com representative on the phone that our reservation magically appeared. Very frustrating. The room itself was very nice. It could have used a more thorough sweeping of the floor, but everything else was clean and well set up. There was a refrigerator and microwave available for use.
- Jason (10/5): - It was sufficient for the price.
- Michael (6/5): - Stayed for a week and a half and couldnt get a late check out, had to get an extra day instead. Because of the manager, who knew we were bad with time. We wont be back
- rodger (6/5): - Overall good experiene....only exception was the cermic tile on the floor was extremely dirty....appeared fine to look at but after walking for a few minutes our feet were filthy
- Kimberly (1/5): If I could have canceled my stay here I definitely would have. Never again - Nothing Was not clean and needed to be updated. Wasn’t worth the price!!!
- J2428QSjoel (4/5): Would not recommend staying here - When I arrived to check-in there was no one at the front desk. I waited about 7-8 minutes and then called the front desk to see if the clerk had the phone with them. The desk clerk answered and returned to the desk to check me in. The room was clean but the maintenance needed as the evening wore on were ridiculous. I had planned on reporting them to the morning clerk, but when I arrived again at the desk it was the same night clerk R Patel. He looked like he had just got out of bed and did not want to talk…never asked if I enjoyed my stay. He did not look like he was in the mood for problems so I just left. Issues:
Room smelled musty, ran the AC and it cleared it up
Tub faucet and handle were loose and the handle came off
Bathroom sink faucet was not secured to the sink/countertop
Shower curtain had mold stains
Bathroom door damaged
Entry door damaged
Extreme road/street noise
Window style AC very noisy
Bed was OK
Water pressure and hot water was good
I would not stay at this property again.
- Nomad64257971991 (2/5): The quality inn is not the place to stay very rude stay an nasty environment - They are so rude they will never offer to clean your room I’ve been here 2 weeks and not once had room service came by an provided clean towels an toiletries nor will they change the bed sheets I literally have to walk up there every couple of days to get it done then on top of that when I ask for it it’s 2 hours plus before it gets done and they wrongly chargered my card 2 times an tried to say they didn’t once for 200 an another for 20 an if it was not for me getting ahold of the main person who owns the hotel I would of never gotten my money back because if the Indians was not going too but overall I would never stay here again in my life an you would figure after 2 weeks of staying an paying on time they would give you a deal but nope they try to charger me to the fullest
- S (1/5): STAY AWAY !!!!!! - Nothing Plain and simple NASTY !!!!! Floors were disgusting! . Dried blood on bathroom door facing in obvious plain sight. Bed lines were stained and dirty. Tub was not fit to stand in much less sit in. Refrigerator kept us awake all night making noise. Towels were hard , stained and terriable! Worst place I’ve stayed in ever !!!!
- Alicia (10/5): If was a perfect stay - It was very clean and quiet
- Lawrence (1/5): Awful, but we were dead tired so we stayed. - Roaches in the room. One was crawling on the bed. Poor lighting in the room. Only one light was working. Breakfast was cold and rubbery. One guest was bouncing a biscuit on the table.
- Ali (7/5): Good - BREAKFAST
CLEANNESS
- Kaitlynn (5/5): Passable - The air conditioner The water in room 133 the hot water did not work
- Rebecca (4/5): - My advised the staff that my handicapped elderly mother would be traveling with me. There was only one handicap parking space on the lot. Also we had four people and got one wash rag and three towels. The loud music coming from the room next door with men going in and out all night and two girls staying there should have been a clue as to what was going on all the while a man sat outside in the car watching the room. I won’t be back to this motel and will not suggest it again.
- Kaitlynn (7/5): Good -
- Kaitlynn (7/5): Good -
- Cathy (7/5): Check in was very pleasant. - Close to restaurants. In need of lots of updates. Toilet didn’t flush well. Sink was very slow to drain. No soap in room for guests.
- John (2/5): Very poor -
- Kaitlynn (7/5): Good - The privacy and leaving people alone
- I (3/5): Poor - Room was off with private entrance and was clean. Housekeeping walked right in the room in morning without knocking, a party was two rooms or so down that was way to loud and out of hand and the breakfast was frozen and or empty not many options laid out for it being a holiday weekend.
- Jay (6/5): - Tub was nasty in poor condition. Faucet hung way off the wall - not flush with tub wall. You could see the PVC pipe. Check in guy looked very rough - no personality. No one at desk at checkout. Dropped off key.
- Larry (3/5): Poor - The air conditioning didn’t work properly and sleeping was difficult
- Sarah (1/5): Not a great experience. - Bed was comfortable Bathroom was filthy, there were multiple people having parties and being loud all night. There were stains on the chair that were gross.
- Ryan (1/5): Awful - The room was turned over too quick. Nothing was swept, wiped down. There were hand prints on the headboard, crumbled candy bars on the floor, long black hair stuck to the side of the shower wall, eyelash glue all over the floor and it smelled like marijuana and cigarettes!
The breakfast was awful, and frozen eggs and sausage in a chafing dish, still had to be microwaved.
The staff appeared clueless. When we booked the rooms, we assumed they would be together because we have children, they were not. What if we had little kids? So we just split up the adults to stay with the kids. Husband’s rooms door was kicked in at one point (previous to our stay) and would not seal properly. This was just a bad experience.
- Trevor (2/5): - Dirty hotel and the breakfast is terrible
- Joshua (10/5): - Great place for a great price … clean and friendly staff
- Dennis (8/5): Very good -
- Mohd (1/5): Not a place for human stay - Nothing at all Not clean bed
Not clean blanket
Not clean furniture
Not clean carpet
Not clean bathroom
- Bruce (10/5): - Had a quiet night and had a great time.
- Emily (4/5): Disappointing -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean, the bed was amazing! You had a nice breakfast, the staff was nice. It's needs to be updated a bit.
- Rahim (5/5): Alright - Bed Restroom flush was not working.
- Patrick (1/5): Bad - Late afternoon receptionist and her assistant were pleasant Room was very smelly. Apparently smoking or previously smoking room. Morning attendant had "no care" attitude. Only cereal at breakfast. No waffle batter, syrup, orange juice at 8a m. Attendant was annoyed that we requested replenishment.
- Katrina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (7/5): Good - The bed was very comfy. There was no cups in room. The tub was dirty.
- Charles (2/5): - We checked in, she gave us the 2nd story. No elevator! I asked for the 1st floot, she gave us the 1st floor in a different non attached building. That building shares it's parking lot with a Mexican restaurant/bar. So there's NO parking available.
We go to the room, it's open, we look no one is there. We load in, and the door will not shut! Or lock in any way.
We move to the 3rd room,im tried 9 hour drive.dirty stained floor, stained bed spread, stained sheets, 1 of the 2 beds seemed serviceable.
Still no parking at thiS room either. Had to park on the other side of the building.
I give up! You win! Im tired
- Rebecca (8/5): - Parking for second building was not good — next to a noisy bar.
- Dana (1/5): Bad -
