• Dennis (10/5): - My stay at the hostel was so close to a bunch of restaurants as well as the subway line and just a 15 minute walk to the Kyoto airport so it was really convenient! I got free towels everyday and laundry was just only 200 Yen for the laundry pods. The hostess (I'm sad I didn't get her name) was nice and kind as to show me how everything works. Japanese isn't required but it was nice for me to practice some of it with her. Definitely would stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.

• Mianni (10/5): - This hostel had a window and fan inside the spacious capsule with a foldable bed for more space. The kitchen was very clean and the laundry was free. Overall great hostel with adequate transportation near by, I would definitely book again.
• Amber (8/5): - This place had a great location, close to the train station and no more than 30 minute walks or train rides to most tourist attractions and food. Staff were super friendly and it was very clean. However, if you are used to a softer or thicker mattress, the beds will hurt your back. My partner and I were in a lot of pain after our stay because of the bed and pillow. It was an overall great stay but the beds could hurt you if you’re staying for a longer period.
• Charles (10/5): - It's basically a hostel with single rooms. Mostly quiet but it's impossible to close the room door without making a noise that everyone can easily hear. The price is good but there is a significant cost for late check-in.
• David (8/5): Price and location the real draw - Basically a self serve guesthouse. Was not used to waking 3 flights down to take a shower, no hanger for towels at the public washing basin and inside pf public toilet, and no TV. But after a couple of days I got used to it and it was OK. Location very convenient ot subways and buses. Price is right also.

• Chikako (10/5): Che meraviglioso!! なんと素晴らしい！！ - 本当に快適に過ごせました。女性の4人部屋を使用しました。同室の人は外国人達だったのですが、皆と仲良くおしゃべりしました。1回目は夜中に鍵の解錠に手間取っていた台湾ガールを昔取った杵柄、お手伝いしました。翌朝出発時間に遅れそうなほど会話。今回の2回目はドイツからのお嬢さん、本当に楽しく爆笑！彼女の独学の日本語もまた楽し。メンバーは時の運ですが、施設が一番素晴らしい。オーナーの人柄も含め、清潔感、機能性、ロケーション、普段はゲストハウス、ユースホステルには宿泊しないのですが(年齢的に笑)なんかいいですね、癖になりそうです。私は未使用でしたが、ランドリーも便利そう。シャワーも快適、キッチンも調味料、ティーの用意、ゴミの選別、リビングも良い、屋上からの見晴らし、清水さん、比叡山、京都タワー、 近所の昔ながらの喫茶店etc.良い思い出ができました。バスも1本で10分少々で東山へ到達、素晴らしい。また機会があれば 利用したいと思っています。ありがとうございました!

• Marilyn (10/5): - This is a unique hostel with its Japanese charm. Place is in excellent location—- about 15- minutes walk to Kyoto station, a couple minutes to a subway station & to bus stops. I was able reach popular destinations easily with public transportation. Convenient store & McDonald’s are just a couple minutes walk as well. Though, good to venture local restaurants. As a solo female traveler, I definitely felt safe. Very close to a scenic river. I had a double room with a bunk bed. However, I happened to not have a roommate & had the room all to myself! It has a window. Charming bed, with Japanese mattress & pillow. There’s a rooftop terrace. Laundry is inexpensive—only 100 yen for both wash & dry. Tea bags of different variety are available & complimentary. I specifically like the one of brown rice. I got to meet & talk with other people from other countries while at the lobby. It was fun! Mr. Ace is a wonderful host. He speaks excellent English, very accommodating, down-to-earth, helpful of suggestions of places to see in Kyoto. Provided assistance with my huge luggage in check-in & check-out process. I need to travel lightly next time. I highly recommend this charming hostel. Will definitely come back!

• henry (10/5): A taste of Japanese hospitality!! - We visited from Manchester New Hampshire USA and the Guesthouse WindVilla is a great location if you want to experience all that Kyoto has to offer. The staff at the Guesthouse Wind Villa were hospitable and always helpful. The Guesthouse is kept in a clean and great condtion. I highly recommend a stay there if you plan to visit Kyoto.
• Boseong (10/5): 전체적으로 훌륭하고 가격이 매우 저렴! - 케이한 시치조 역에서 걸어서 1분. 오사카까지 급행 전철도 다니고, 후시미이나리, 청수사 등 각종 관광지에 바로 갈 수 있는 노선. 바로 옆에 라멘집과 맥도날드, 편의점이 존재함 프론트는 2층, 숙소는 3층. 짐이 많다면 힘들 수 도 있다. 엘레베이터는 없음. 세탁기는 무료, 세제는 100엔 분리형 도미토리라 문을 닫으면 개인실이 됨. 숙소 전체적으로 깔끔하고 괜찮았으며, 요리도 해먹을 수 있는 공간이 있다.
• JUOJU (10/5): - 旅館位於住宅區中離車站很近很方便，晚上很安靜不吵鬧非常好，但相對餐廳也比較少，不過有全家跟麥當勞。 房東英文非常棒，不會日文也能順利溝通，雖然沒有電梯有點不方便，但房東會幫忙搬運行李非常親切。 最棒的是有洗衣機（含烘乾機能），每次使用只需要付100元的洗衣球即可，非常划算！ 廚房空間非常大設備也很齊全，有提供各種口味的茶包飲用。 這次入住的是四人一間的榻榻米房，每個床位都是獨立空間，完全不會受他人影響，而且每個床位都有窗戶非常棒！ 有機會下次還會想入住！
• Seon Lyang (10/5): 최고의 숙박시설이었습니다! - 혼자가시는 분, 친구랑 가시는 분, 진짜 여기 게스트 하우스 추천추천 합니다! 교토 게스트하우스가 다 이런지는 모르겠지만 오사카에 머물렀던 게스트 하우스랑 비교했을때 정말 가격 대비 최고로 좋습니다. 심지어 가서 1박당 200엔씩 더 지불해야했지만 그 돈이 아깝지 않을 정도로 좋았습니다. 우선 다른 게하는 커텐으로 나의 사생활(?)을 가리는 반면 이 게스트하우스는 문으로 되어 있어 나만의 방이 생기기 때문에 엄청 편하고 좋습니다. 옷걸이가 있어서 옷도 걸 수 있고 환풍기와 창문도 있어 갑갑하지 않았습니다. (앉아서 손 뻗으면 천장이 닿는 정도) 방 안에 세면대가 있고 복도에도 세면대가 있어서 밖에 나가지 않고 세수와 양치를 할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 방문도 카드키로 되어 있어 안전합니다. 각 층마다 화장실이 있고 응가 냄새 안나게 변기물에 거품이 나오드라구요. 샤워실은 남녀 공용이었지만 3칸의 샤워실이 있어 겹치지 않았습니다. 드라이기 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 그리고 무엇보다 진짜 최고 깨끗하고 사장님들께서 너무너무 친절하십니다~ 휴게실도 자유롭게 쓸 수 있어 좋았어요^^ 교토타워에서 걸어서 15분~20분 정도 걸리지만 주변 동네가 너무 예뻐서 그냥 걸어다니기만 해도 좋드라구요. 저 갈때는 한국 여행자가 한명도 없어서 외로웠는데 한국 사람들이 이 게스트 하우스를 몰라서 아쉬웠어요. 꼭 이용해보세요 진짜 최고 강추합니다~!
• HyunJung (10/5): 청결 위치 친절 굿 - 너무 깨끗한 곳이라 매우 만족하며 머물렀습니다. 일정중에 옷을 더럽혔는데 세제를 백엔에 구입하면 무료로 건조까지 되는 세탁기를 사용할수 있어 유용했고 호스트들도 매우 친절했습니다.수건은 제공되고 샴푸 바디워시 공용어로 배치되어 있고 칫솔치약은 없어요. 원데이버스티켓도 호스텔에서 바로 구입할수있어 매우 편리했습니다

• Noémie (10/5): Super !!!!!! - Incroyable ! J'y retourne sans hésiter ! Staff génial, parle anglais et est toujours dispo pour aider et discuter. Cuisine bien équipée et salle de bain propre. Machine à laver et sécher avec produit inclus 100yens. Les chambres en dortoirs sont nickel, chacun à sa propre box avec l'espace pour un lit, des gros sacs etc, et une fenêtre perso. Un lavabo dans la chambre et des toilettes à chaque étage. Salle commune sympa. Tout prêt de Kyoto station, aussi d'une gare de train et de bus, 25min à pied de Gion. J'adore !!
• Alejandra (8/5): Buena ubicación, limpio, moderno, hab priv pequeña - Muy buena ubicación, a 10-15 a pie de Kyoto Station, a 25 minutos a pie de Gion y Fushimi Inari. Localizado en Higashiyama, un barrio muy tranquilo. Instalaciones muy limpias y modernas. No hay elevador y la habitación es pequeña.

La struttura è confortevole, ha un’area comune dove si può stare in completo relax. C’è anche lavatrice con asciugatrice e cucina a disposizione degli ospiti. Bagni e docce in comune, molto puliti. Proprietario molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze dei suoi ospiti. Lo consiglio vivamente, anche perché si trova a 10 min a piedi dalla stazione ed ad 1 min dalla metro.

• Changwon (10/5): 교토 게스트하우스는 여기로 - 1. 먼저 체크인은 20시까지 가면 되지만 호스트가 10시까지 있기 때문에 힘들게 뛰지 않아도 된다. 하지만 늦으면 민폐니까 빨리 가도록 합시다 2. 호스트가 영어, 일어에 능통하고 한국어 조금하면서 바디랭귀지 등 다 알아 듣는다. 그리고 엄청 친절하니까 겁먹지 말아요 3. 방은 한 방에 4개의 객실이 있고 캡슐형태로 각 방이 있다. 방에 들어갈땐 카드키로 들어가고 보안도 철저해서 여성분 혼자 가도 괜찮고 내가 체크인했을땐 나 포함 남자 2명에 다 여성분이였어요 4. 차, 요리시설, 수저, 그릇, 컵, 전자레인지, 다 사용가능하고 모든게 자동식이고 그냥 호텔느낌나요 5. 샤워시설도 24시간 가능하고 깨끗하고 그냥 좋슴다 6. 세탁기는 무료지만 세제는 캡슐로 한개당 백엔으로 사야합니다. 넓고 깨끗하고 방도 좋고 아늑하고 시설 좋고 시치조라는 지하철 바로 앞에있고 그냥 좋아요 대신 방에 방음이 안되니까 조심하고요 저는 다들 조용하셨어요 다음에도 교토오면 무저건 여기갑니다

• Floriane (10/5): Perfect guesthouse ! - Very nice guesthouse! The dormitory give us intimacy. Every "bed-box" can be locked if you bring your own locker ! Very clean. Staff very kind, always there to give you good advice or just have a little chat, if you want to. It is very compfortable to stay in this guesthouse even for many days . Bus stop and subway at 1 minute by walking, main train station at 10 to 15 minutes by walking.

The entire building was new and well maintained, plus very decent amenities within. Also within walking/biking distance of Fushimi Inari shrine, plus many other famous temples (and some not so well known).
