- Susan S (6/5): Niedosyt. - Ładnie dobrane kolory w pokoju. Designe był ok, ale niczego nie opowiadał. Był. Świetna lokalizacja. Pomóc przy opłatach za parking. Niestety spodziewałam się większej funkcjonalności pokoju. Designe jest ważny, ale funkcjonalność jest ważniejsza. Łazienka była zrobiona dziwnie, nie było najmniejszych szans na oddzielenie się od reszty pokoju, choćby szyba. Byliśmy z dzieckiem, więc to dodatkowo komplikowało sprawę. Generalnie było czysto, choć pajęczyn było dużo przy lampach na drewnianych belkach. O śniadaniu chciałabym napisać coś pozytywnego, były z menu i dość małe porcje. Dziecko miało niestrawności po zjedzeniu śniadania w drugi dzien, ale z tym nigdy nie wiadomo dlaczego, więc ciężko ocenić. Mi i mężowi smakowało. Brak windy (tak, to zabytkowa kamienica, ale nawet w takich da się zrobić windę). Takimi schodami nosić samemu rzeczy na samą górę to był koszmar.

Fill in your check-in details, second reminder, final reminder, whatsapp reminder. Ignored all and nobody even asked ID when I arrived. Also upgrade and late checkout offers and reminders. And last cherry was asking for a tip at checkout. Rooms are okay, however beware the windows are not soundproof.

- clbelanger96 (10/5): Beautiful Comfortable Stay in Budapest - Our stay in Budapest was absolutely wonderful, and this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The comfort level was exceptional — from the plush bedding to the quiet, relaxing atmosphere, it truly felt like a retreat after long days exploring the city. The ambience of the hotel was quaint and welcoming, with beautiful décor and a warm, inviting feel throughout the property. The staff was consistently gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Their kindness and professionalism added so much to the overall experience and made us feel truly cared for from arrival to departure. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was the perfect way to start each day. The selection was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, offering something for everyone before heading out to explore the city. Really enjoyed the omelet and the croque madame. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its outstanding location. Situated within an easy walk to Buda Hill sites or an easy transit by bus to many of Budapest’s main attractions and scenic streets. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, ambience, exceptional hospitality, and an unbeatable location for exploring Budapest on foot, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again.

- delligill (10/5): Lovely, atmospheric hotel in a great position - This atmospheric boutique hotel is in a great position in the Castle district of Buda. We had a great room at the top of the hotel - large, bright and clean - with a comfortable king-size bed and a great shower. We had dinner in the hotel's bistro on our first night and it was atmospheric, with decent food and friendly service. The included continental breakfast was also good, albeit fairly simple - but there were other options available, if desired. Our room was quiet and included a decent fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine. The only downsides were the lack of a lift (we had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs, although we were given some help with our luggage) and the fact that the window blinds let in a lot of light (it felt like full daylight in the room at 6 am) - we had to buy sleep eye masks. But these were minor points in an excellent stay at a lovely hotel in a terrific position. Be aware, though, that the Castle district is at the top of a hill and, if you like walking to restaurants etc, you will be descending and climbing a lot of hills and stairs to get around! We were fine with that but others may prefer taking taxis. The price seemed fairly reasonable for the quality of the hotel and the size of the room, certainly compared to the main hotel brands.

- LackyTravels (10/5): Highly recommended - This was my second time at the Pest-Buda Design Boutique Hotel and I can highly recommend it. Nothing is lacking. You can hear some traffic noise in the room facing the street, but it didn't bother me at all and I cateched good sleep. The room can be completely darkened. The location is great, especially for a morning stroll in the castle district before the tourist crowds flock to the mountain. The The design is lovely and the restaurant is really nice. The staff is very polite.

L'hôtel est situé dans le quartier de Buda, sur les hauteurs de la ville et a beaucoup de charme. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très avenant. Notre chambre donnait sur la rue, et même s'il s'agit d'une petite rue, celle-ci est très très passagère, avec beaucoup de trafic de voitures et les pavés de la rue amplifient le son. La chambre n'est pas bien insonorisée, de fait on entend vraiment beaucoup le bruit de la rue et des voitures, et ce, très tôt le matin. Peut être l'hôtel devrait il investir dans de vraies fenêtres double vitrage. Literie un peu dure.

Staff poco serio, hanno detto che non potevano accettare pagamento con la mia carta amex messa a garanzia, mi hanno mandato i dati del bonifico che ho immediatamente fatto con una carta differente e il giorno dopo magicamente hanno preso i soldi anche dalla mia carta amex, facendomi pagare due volte la struttura, serietà zero , non si fa così. The room was of top quality: clean, spacious, comfortable bed, and all modern amenities worked perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great experience!

- Ivana (7/5): Komme nach Budapest gerne wieder, bin aber nicht sicher ob ich bei diesem Hotel wieder buchen werde. - Sauber und Ortschaft TOP Raum hatte kein Fenster, deswegen war es bisschen Problem mit lüften, Raum nicht wie derjenige der auf den Bilder beim Buchung gezeigt wurde, Kellner hat uns beim Frühstück garnicht erklärt was inclusive ist deshalb waren wir beim frühstücken ziemlich hungrig danach, was aber aufm Bilder in Booking ganz anders aussieht.

- Sara (7/5): - Characterful boutique hotel in an excellent location close to Buda Castle, Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion. A few problems to start with. Room wasn't serviced after the first night, safe didn't have batteries and radio didn't work. Problems were rectified but only after asking twice. They did offer to void the cost of one of our meals and give us a complimentary breakfast but the final bill didn't reflect this and we had to have it revised.

La habitación limpia y con todo lo necesario. Personal atento y amable. No nos explicaron bien lo que incluía el desayuno el primer día. Nos dijeron que incluía 1 sólo café y zumo y al día siguiente nos dijeron que eran ilimitados. Localizarlos en caso de emergencia (fuera del horario de recepción) no es fácil, el teléfono que proporcionan no tiene whattapp y no hay instrucciones de cómo llamar desde el teléfono de la habitación. Tuvimos un problema porque los restaurantes de la zona cerraron antes de tiempo por poca afluencia de turistas y no pudimos cenar. Quisimos llamar al hotel para que nos dieran su recomendación en ese caso.
- TRB100 (8/5): New year trip - A characterful boutique hotel, which was just what we wanted. Is located in the lovely castle district, a short taxi or downhill walk to the centre of town. A minor niggle was that you can only pay the bar tab in Euro's, when charged to the room, which was strange.

- Helen (10/5): A romantic and lovely spot to stay in a warm and exciting city. - It was a unique, beautiful hotel while still feeling clean and warm. The room had lots of space to make myself at home. It was also ideally located being only a few minutes from Buda castle and fisherman’s bastion. And the steps to and from the Pest side really isn’t that bad. There are also lots of great restaurant options around and the staff are very helpful. The bistro opened at 12 and when I went down at 12:10 for a seat for 1 person they seemed very flattered that I didn’t have a reservation and insisted that I could only order a soup or starter as they had a reservation at 1. I understand not being able to seat me due to another reservation but having me stay but limit what I could order was a little strange. Still the meal was lovely and I can’t fault the hotel for anything else truly. It was only this one small experience.

- Diana (10/5): Medieval Inn with a lot of history , but with facilities of modern life - We liked the room very much, also the bathroom, everything was great, except a small problem with one radiator, but was very quickly solved by the stuff. I don't remember the name of the receptionist, but he was always there, attentive and helpful, doing a great job. Breakfast was fine, the service very good, location perfect. Next time we will choose the same place, is a trip back in the history, but with all modern facilities. We liked everything.
- Jan Jebsen (10/5): Will definitely book this hotel again - Location is superb. You have to take note that this is on the Buda side. Surprisingly quiet especially during the Christmas period. I wish I stayed longer. If I will have to go back, will definitely stay again in this hotel. Only a few steps from Buda Castle. Has a Christmas market near it too. Room was excellent and clean. Wife loved it. The complimentary L’occitane is deffo a cute above the rest. I forgot his name but the manager was very nice too! If you want closer to Parliament, you will have to stay on the Pest side of the city.

- Dreamer31176581739 (10/5): Wonderful location! - We had a lovely stay at Pest Buda Design Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the castle area. Also, it’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop to get the 16/16-A bus to the rest of the city, metro, etc. Our stay included breakfast which was selecting one breakfast meal off the menu plus a beverage. Orange juice was also included. The breakfast meals weren’t huge but adequate and very tasty. Our room was small but very nice and comfortable. The in-room coffee was very good. The only sort-of disappointment was that though the hotel boasts being the oldest (1696) in Budapest, the room itself was very modern and generic. There were no architectural features remaining that reminded one of anything before the 1990’s. But probably nothing anyone can do about that now. Overall a very nice stay.

Malheureusement, la chambre qui nous a été attribuée ne disposait pas de fenêtre pour aérer. De plus, les murs étaient très fins, ce qui nous permettait d’entendre les personnes à l’extérieur. Il y avait également une porte donnant sur le couloir extérieur ; à travers celle-ci, il était possible d’apercevoir partiellement l’intérieur de la chambre lorsque les lumières étaient allumées.

- Clare (7/5): Ok - The space of the room and decor. Nothing was ever replenished in the room. The basics of tea, coffee, etc. The first time this occurred, the front of the house dealt with it with no issues. The second time, I was told I'd need to pay, so very unhappy with that. Safety concerns - I severely trapped my finger in the room door as it slammed and extremely heavy. I couldn't stop this bleeding for 20 mins or so. The staff didn't know the location of the first aid box, so very concerning. The bed was extremely uncomfortable for both of us.

- Mike_Lorraine (10/5): A special place to stay - This boutique hotel is absolutely lovely. It is stylishly designed, friendly and is situated in a great position near to the BUDA side attractions. It is a really nice place to stay and the staff are super friendly. Andreas and Daniel were the reception come managers and went out of their way to make our stay really special. It is a small hotel with only 10 rooms arranged on three flights of stairs. It is a really old building that has been updated to create a modern hotel. There is no lift ( due to conservation listing) so if you are not good on stairs ( spiral) then that may be an issue for you but the steps are not arduous. You are situated in close proximity to all of the BUDA tourist sites. Access down to the river and bridges across to the PEST side of the city is either by walking down the many steps ( we did it and we are in our seventies!) or by public transport buses or by the castle shuttle buses or by the funicular railway.

- Jana (9/5): Es war ein perfekter Kurzurlaub in einer schönen Stadt. - Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren in der Adventszeit und es war alles sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Die Lage war perfekt, man konnte alles zu Fuß erreichen oder hatte direkt einen Anschluss an die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und alles war sauber. Das Frühstück hat uns persönlich nicht überzeugt.
