• rachH0871 (6/5): Lets customers down - We are a young hearted married couple mid fifties. Stayed for 5 nights all inclusive sea view room. So will split this into good and bad for transparency Good- hotel was clean, our room was made up every day, smelt fresh. Staff work very hard and friendly. Entertainment staff seem fab with kids lots if dancing and games till 8pm. Taxis are literally outside security gates Bad- a sports group of maybe 30 children aged 11-13moved in on 2nd day and hotel dynamic changed-dining room became a high school lunchhall with food and table mats being thrown,yelling and howling ti each other sauce pots filled and thrown out by pool, game grabber machine was tipped in side to take prizes, staff did nothing and their coaches were oblivious and drinking in bar. Many residents complained including us but behaviour cintinued for rest if our stay Buffet food was incorrectly labelled, as a coeliac its important, apparently watermelon has wheat in it! Food was hot and fresh but repetitive. Our room was 425 which was about the foyer so the evening entertainment felt like it was in our room till 11pm. Would I recommend? No Would i return? No
• glitchtrapg (6/5): Really nice - The hotel is amazing and it has reall clean rooms. A bit disappointed on the food. We stayed for five days and it was pretty much the same menu. Out of all the staff, Faith was the loveliest. Really friendly, polite and helpful all the time.
• Bmoh12 (8/5): Father and 6 year old son all inclusive - The Village Hotel is very nice, very relaxed and safe, stayed here with my 6 year old son who couldn't of had a better time. The pool area is fantastic as is the commercial street with the arcade which isn't too expensive at 1e a game. We went all inclusive which I would recommend as the food at the pool snack bar is fine and then you are spoiled for choice in the restaurant at meal times The burger and Italian restaurant didn't open until our last night as the season is only starting. The beach front water park area opened the last day of March and is fantastic for kids, if you are all inclusive it's free entry and free drinks The only thing I would say is that the staff are very slow when serving you, weither it be the shop or the bars, they almost go out of their way to ensure a que builds up, which can be very frustrating The rooms are fantastic, very spacious with a large fridge and large balcony We have booked already for next year
• janeychal (8/5): Lovely week in sunshine - We had a great time here! Hotel is nice and rooms are spotless. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Strange thing was no coffee or water topped up after day 1? This is odd in an all inclusive and never had this before. If you like coffee in the room you have no chance. Rooms are nice and spacious and balcony was same as well as very safe as walled rather than railings which is good with toddlers. The food was fine, I wouldn’t say excellent but there was always something. Gluten free options were good although have to ask for cereal, bread and muffins at breakfast. Drinks and snacks were fine during day. Backed potatoes were hard one day and I did let the girl know they needed cooked more which seemed taken on, it would be a waste otherwise as nobody would eat them rock solid. Entertainment at night was poor, a singer every night which lacked atmosphere as in a foyer of the hotel. It was cold and a strange place when they have an inside theatre for this time of year. Kids disco was decent when entertainers came and the guy with the head tie was the best, lively and remembered kids names which was nice. Pool was good if a little cold but kids didn’t mind. Didn’t know the water park would be closed as wasn’t told this when booking. If you walk 10 minutes left there is a little beach which was nice. 10 minutes the other way you are in Fuengirola which is lovely. Anyone who says you can’t walk anywhere is lazy 🤣🤣 you certainly can. We also took Uber a few times and it was cheap and reliable. Hotel security is very good and secure. Reception are nice and helpful as was the staff at the Tui desk. We didn’t have any issues when we were there. Would go back again but think they could do with a few things improving to make it a really positive experience! We have stayed in 4 star before which was slightly better even out of season. Felt a litttle like they were Skeleton staff
• Melp838 (10/5): No complaints - Hotel lovely rooms are clean spacious. Pool area great life guards were brilliant helped me out as I cut my foot open. Well the food lovely plenty to choose from had chicken wings and spare ribs burgers pizza Chinese Sunday lunch plenty of salad cheese dessert not sure why people were complaining. Lager cruzompo and Bailey were lovely
• hughjamesb2023 (6/5): Lovely Hotel,but lacking in areas - Stayed at Holiday World Village in Benalmádena recently and overall had a mixed experience. High points: The room was really nice and big with lovely views, which we were happy with. The bar staff were also lovely and always friendly, which made a difference to the stay. Low points: The hotel itself feels quite dated and could do with some updating. Check-in took over 40 minutes and our room still wasn’t ready when we got there, which wasn’t a great start. The food was good on the first night, but after that it wasn’t great and became a bit disappointing. We also had issues with the air conditioning — it wasn’t working, and even after complaining on the first night and again to the holiday rep, we were only given a fan on the second last night of the holiday, which wasn’t ideal. We were also only given a bin for the room on the last day, which was strange. The animation team were very lacklustre and there wasn’t much going on. There is only one main pool area, which was always full, so if you didn’t get a sunbed early, there was nowhere to really sit in the sun or use the pool. Finally, the entertainment was pretty terrible. I understand it’s not peak season yet, but the hotel was still busy and there really wasn’t much to keep people entertained. Overall, some positives with the room and staff, but quite a few negatives that affected the experience.

• 67alfies (4/5): Mediocre, good for pensioners - We arrived on sunday and stayed until the sunday after. food was mediocre, small amount of options unless you love fish. very understaffed for the amount of guests. air conditioning only put out hot air. i asked if you can put it on cold as room was way to hot, they replied ‘this time of year we only do hot air’. The entertainment was boring and the same every day. and we was kept up on our last night because of how loud the music was and screaming kids. on our last night we asked about if there was any food that we could have before our flight. our pickup was at 7:20 and breakfast was at 7:30. even a pastry or cereal would do. when we asked they said ‘that is the set time’ and was not sympathetic at all. Pool was freezing cold and didn’t even want to go in. also had loads of seagulls in the pool and seagull poo we also found some plastic within our food at dinner. (photo below)
• 64debiy (8/5): Holiday village March 2026 - Hotel situated between Fuengirola and Benalmadena closer to Benalmadena. Buses were cheap and Uber taxis cheap. Old town behind seafront of Fuengirola is lovely some great bras and restaurants. On arrival at hotel checked in by reception who were always helpful and polite from the minute we checked in to when we left . The hotel was very clean room cleaned daily and staff in the hotel were always cleaning. I was disappointed the gym was closed and the steam room and sauna were also closed. Used the indoor pool we were given vouchers for towels which we handed back on checkout so we didn’t have to pay. There were a large group of footballers arrive whilst we were there but in fairness they kept themselves to themselves and were there for team bonding . Some of the brits were loud and rowdy at night when they’d be drinking all day and some unruly teenagers racing around the place rowdy . The restaurant was busy but plenty of good variety, a small selection of Tapas, soup every night. Hot food chicken and chicken dishes , vegetable lasagne one night dauphinoise potatoes plenty of vegetables. Full salad bar every day, plenty of cold meats and cheeses. Fresh Tuna steaks and mussels and prawns etc . Asian night on Saturday with different rices, noodles, spring rolls curries etc . If you just wanted pizza chips chicken nuggets they were available. Full breakfasts with a variety of eggs cooked freshly, cereals yoghurts full range of continental with fresh fruit melon pineapple apples pears etc. choice of ice creams cakes and fruit or cheese jellies yoghurts etc . Speciality restaurants weren’t open. All staff were friendly and felt sorry for restaurant and bar staff as very busy and they never stopped could have done with more staff. Good choice of all inclusive drinks available. Could have done with a lounge area that was quiet or just for adults as kids running around which we didn’t mind but could be off putting for some people. Snack available in the bar area from 10-4 daily if you didn’t want lunch or breakfast. Rep information was pretty standard and she seemed to want to sell the market trip over and over . Bus to Fuengirola was 1 euro 40 we went to Mijas peublo by Uber for £6.85 . Could have done with knowing health and safety info as very small fire plans on doors of hotel. Fire alarm went off twice which was a false alarm but no one seemed to know what to do and you could not hear it everywhere . Could do with a Tannoy system if alarms are not everywhere as by the time you got to reception or dial 9 its dangerous if a real situation. Felt sorry for reception as they kept apologising for false alarm but do feel it dangerous especially if older or with young children who cannot move quickly . Paid for a taxi to the airport which we never do as pick up time was late when I asked the rep to check the time she said yes it’s tight but you’ll have to check in and rush to passport control Straight away no time for anything else as we didn’t want to rush we paid for a taxi as did a lot of people on our flight did feel TUI should have arranged the transfer earlier as the airport was very busy glad we went earlier so we didn’t have to rush. Rooms were large and lovely big balcony bathroom had walk in shower and a bath with a shower and two sinks. Kitchen with microwave and fridge kettle and a coffee machine but only two pods left on first day and a carton of water. I don’t drink tea so had to purchase pods as I didn’t want to keep going downing the morning before breakfast it’s nice to have a coffee when you get up. Had to purchase bottles of water as again only refillable downstairs felt they could either have water on each corridor or bottles in the room as all inclusive lots of hotels have refillable water on each landing . We enjoyed our stay the weather was lovely but needed a fleece in the evenings. Went to Marbella and Puerto Banus trip good value for money and nice guy . Visited Fuengirola a few times Panda bar in the old town lovely for cocktails . Ate a few times in Timeless on the seafront which is lovely a family run restaurant with just a husband and wife. Benalmadena Marina lovely lots of nice places to eat there and Cocos sports bar if you want to watch some sport food was nice and huge portions friendly staff. We went in lots of little bars but can’t remember names of them but found people in local areas very friendly . We had a lovely holiday but I wouldn’t want to stay in high season as too noisy . Benalmadena Castle worth a visit £6 by taxi 3 euros each to go in not very big but worth a visit .
• Linzi3012 (6/5): It's what you make it - We were here last week and were a little disappointed. Only the main car and restaurant were open due to it being out of season. The weather wasn't great but that can't be helped. Quite remote, needed a taxi or bus to get anywhere. The spa downstairs with the indoor pool needed some tlc and the sauna was closed which was disappointing as it was cold and rainy would have been nice to relax in there. The food was pretty poor although we always found something it was only ever like warm. The staff are all lovely, very cheerful and always happy to help. The drinks are good and it's all very clean. Would imagine in summer getting a sun lounger by the pool or table in the restaurant will be difficult. Still it was a break from the norm and overall we enjoyed it.

• M3388LKninas (4/5): Save your money - We were here for a week It’s the 5th day in and I am thinking about going home about 10pm the fire alarm goes off that’s fine got the passports and took the kids out of bed for a false alarm that’s fine thing happen To then get back to the room and not even 5 minutes later same thing happened I am sorry but if they had a problem when everyone was at the front desk they could have said I would like to highlight that the bar and arcade you do not hear the fire alarm so just keep that in mind In my eye that is so dangerous that there was children playing and they couldn’t hear if there was a fire The second time it happened I heard the man at the front desk give nothing but check to a lady who has a young baby and was annoyed as were a load of people , from my point of view she had a right to be annoyed and was not specking to him in a way of disrespect It is far away from both city however you can get the bus 120 for cheap however it is very busy but that’s not the hotel fault We did highlight an issue with the room and still haven’t has anyone look at it There is no over / cooking facilities in the room The pool is frezzing cold It is off season and I understand that why not everything is open However the gym wasn’t opened and I don’t think that’s a seasonal issue The spa is a bit over priced in my eyes for what is and you need to pay €3.50 for a swim cap that you need to wear in the indoor pool As a fussy eater and having 4 children with us it’s alway going to be a hit or a miss with all inclusive so I am not only passing blame to the hotel however for the fussy people there was chips, pizza and pasta that’s really it On the Wednesday 11th of march A large group of about 40 people came in that’s fine however the hotel couldn’t keep up with the demand and the food area is so busy Then on the Thursday 12th of march (this is the day am writing this ) A group of what look to be a sport team about 30-50 grown men come along and same story Then was told by the staff members in the food area it is “going to be really really busy in till Sunday ” Not a good start to the evening
• laurarobertson82xx (8/5): Lovely hotel - Lovely hotel just a bit far out and no shops nearby you need to get bus or taxi as this is like in benalmadena border. We came last week and weather was cold and wet but this would be perfect in better weather. Only bad thing was the dinners through the week weren't good, like it was a different chef on weekends and food was lovely on fri, sat and sun. Good variety but for fussy plain people there wasn't much to eat through week except chips, pizza etc. The kids club was great kids loved it but we only found this on day 6 lol. But hotel was really clean and staff lovely. Would come back but in season when it's warm.

Food always cold .obviously march but a lot closed no restraunts open to book,Irish bar friday and Saturday for 2 hours only.no heating to cold in complex to sit any where no patio heaters nothing. Can't say what it's like in summer but stay away when booking early season.
• Voyager823679 (4/5): Holiday world hotel village - Carvajal - Just returned from the Holiday World Village after a 7 night stay. Mixed feelings about this hotel to be honest. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel is in no mans land between Fuingerola and Benalmadena, the bus is useful for cheap trips around if a green card is purchased. 7.5 kms to Benalmadena marina 5.9 kms to Fuingerola bus station The food was just ok, very repetitive and bland. Sometimes warm ... sometimes not. AI drinks were very good with a wide choice available, some bar queues at busier times but not excessive. The room was ok, quite a few issues reported but only some fixed. The large shower head was not fixed properly so moving around on the pipe work. Reported day 1 but still the same on day 7. Nice to have a lot of space in the room with a fridge etc included. Also a good quality tv is fitted in the room allowing YouTube/Netflix/ Tv to be viewed. The entertainment was mediocre but might be ok to some people. This was kept in a smaller area. However on 2 evenings the 'entertainment'was in the hotel internal area. This acts as a megaphone as the hotel has no floors in the centre. If you want shouty singers,bingo at volume 10 and kids entertainment from 21.00 this is the place for you. I assume the entertainment will be outside in the summer. No in room safe as they were 'being upgraded'. Gym in the hotel not working. Cmon guys, its the start of the season. Area is lovely and we shall return.....just not to this hotel.
• JenAliceDye (6/5): Good not great! - After reading a lot of negative reviews I was really worried about coming to this hotel, but honestly it really isn’t that bad. We travelled in a large family of 10, everything from 6months to 88years. Very fortunately the ones in our group that needed to be in the quiet part of the hotel did stay in the quiet part! I strongly recommend booking this as a preference. If you are on the side with the shops etc. it’s very loud very late and the rooms really aren’t soundproof at all. The pool is great - yes there is a queue of people for sunbeds area opening up. If you care enough to go in this queue you get a good sunbed with shade every time. I cared so I queued and it was really no bother. Also, there are plenty of sunbeds in the water park next door so there is always somewhere to park yourself for the day. The water park isn’t great from an accessibility perspective, and those in our group that where elderly could do the walk over the stairs and bridge. There really should be an accessible option to access. The food was in general good and I was happily surprised given the reviews. However, there was a very strange 3 days over a weekend (fri-sun) where the quality of the food plummeted and it was inedible. We did wonder if the head chef had taken some time off because it was completely different and dreadful. The crèche was fantastic for our son, we didn’t want to leave him so we did the stay & play which was lovely and the staff were all brilliant with him. I wouldn’t come back here, purely because of the lack of consistency with the food but it was a nice week and there are a lot of positives.
• lantauloafer (4/5): Ok for kids, dire for adults - Stayed here only because grandson's US soccer team had to stay at this resort for week-long kids' football camp. Vast, dated complex with minimal staffing in late November. Spacious but old, ill-equipped rooms. Mediocre buffet food. Isolated location, with a highway between hotel complex and beach. Definitely need a rental car to go anywhere eg restaurants outside. There's a huge pool and play areas for kids, but the place is pretty dire for adults. Full board was overall poor value. Don't recommend at all if you want a taste of southern Spain, rather than a "resort experience" in a tourist bubble.
• deborahdZ6014EJ (8/5): Nice hotel which I’m sure is fantastic in high season, just not in November! - Travelled as a family of 4, 2 adults and two 12 year old girls for a long weekend taking advantage of a school INSET day. Whilst we made the best of it, it was a little lacking on things to do when the weather wasn’t so good and was quite far out of Benalmádena. We still enjoyed, no complaints re the food, staff or our room. Just not a lot to do in the rain. No queuing for sunbeds lol 😂 Would return, just not in November!
• 400fim (8/5): Good hotel - Me and my friends (8ppl) stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. We literally got back home last night and we already missing it.This is a huge hotel with lots going on. Rooms like apartments. Separate kitchen, bathroom with two sinks,bathtub and shower cabin ,so basically two ppl can have shower the same time if they want ,living space and good size bedroom. Lots of room space. Sea view or mountain, panoramic lifts. Food was good. Different things every day. Staff in the restaurant were helpful and smiling despite working hard every day. Behind the bar staff was also polite ,smiling and always happy to offer you nice drink or cocktail. The girl Faith who was behind the bar is absolutely the winner .Her spirit,welcoming,and hospitality is absolutely spot on.She is a little gem.Keep doing it girl you doing great.We are so glad we met you.. We were end of season pretty much ,a week before the hotel closes and lots of the entertainment areas were closed. Activities were poor. But in total we spend a wonderful time there. We will be recommending this place to our friends.
• zakw565 (6/5): It's okay... - We stayed here for 5 nights in November, out of season so we know it wouldn't have much open during the off season. The hotel itself is fine, its showing signs of a budget hotel and could really use some TLC in places. The Room: The room was okay. The beds are big enough and we was given a nice room with a sea view, can not knock the view at all, we must have been given a self catering room as it was huge, it had a kitchen, huge bathroom, huge balcony, lounge area and bedroom, the room is very outdated and could do with an upgrade, the mattress are NOT the best, didn't sleep very well they are very lumpy and uncomfortable. Room was cleaned everyday and to a good standard. The food: This was disappointing for us, when we go all inclusive we know what to expect, repetitive food, the food was luke warm we never once ate something that was hot, not enough vegetable choice only once during our 5 night stay that we had carrots, more choice of vegetables would have been nice. Entertainment: Entertainment was average, we didn't stay for it most evenings as it was just "Okay" singers not for us, they had the entertainment in middle of the hotel where all the rooms are, very annoying if you want an early night because it goes onto about midnight, there is a stage outside so I am guessing it is outside during the summer. Staff: The staff are great, especially in the restaurant, plates are cleared quickly and they are very polite as for the cleaners. Some of the bar staff a rude, not a hello, thanks.. but only the odd few. Cant comment on the pool as we never used it! Would I stay here again? Probably not, food was a massive let down for us. The hotel itself is fine if you have children but I would not recommend it if you are a couple, its quite away from everything so youll need to get a taxi or the bus.
• 331janiceh (6/5): Wouldn't return! - Inside was freezing, especially in the evenings. Even though it was cold outside the air conditioning was on and all of the fire exit doors were open. The food was terrible, cold, tasteless and repetitive.
• Z6181KPbrians (8/5): We had a great week. - We had a great week. Room and cleaning was good. Receptionists efficient and helpful. Quite a few things had closed at the end of October but not really a problem for us. The food was however average and often not hot e.g. we didn't find any hot chips (french fries) across the whole 7 days of our stay. But not a great issue in the greater scheme of things. The themed meals evenings were a good idea. The transfers worked well and the TUi rep very helpful
• Seasonedtravller (10/5): Excellent - Half way through..... wish we had booked a longer stay While the hotel is a distance from both fuengirola and benalmadena, it is a gem. Staff here are accommodating and friendly. We booked this holiday as a celebration of passing our college Spanish exams, and all the staff were happy to take time and help us practice. From reception, restaurant and bar, all staff are very friendly and patient enough to help us with our Spanish (or lack of). • Guide759629 (10/5): Great family hotel - Great family hotel. Although classed as Benalmadena the nearest beach is a 15 mins walk to Fuengirola so very convenient. There is a bus just outside that runs regularly alii Inf the coast. Complex is 3 hotels and a beach club, all facilities can be used foc if all inclusive board basis is chosen. Hotel is a little tired and we were told it was going to be refurbished, even so it was quite impressive. Hotel entertainment was a little lacking but the TUI entertainment team were amazing. Can’t praise them enough - full on all day and night, friendly, talented and very hardworking. Main pool had gentle sloping sides all round so ideal for little ones and the once a week pool party was a highlight although there was something going on every day. Sunbeds a plenty although the hotel wasn’t full and plenty of room in the beach club with lots of different areas for little ones to enjoy. Dining room was pleasantly not like a cafeteria and food was high standard with plenty of choice with themed nights . Coffee machines had queues at busy times at breakfast but beer and wine on tap on a self serve basis in all bars during rest of day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable and the sheets were so soft I just wish I’d asked where I could buy them from - fabulous.

• Sistersister123 (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an AMAZING Week – We Didn’t Want to Leave! - We arrived home yesterday after the most fantastic week at this incredible hotel and are already missing it! From start to finish, everything was seamless, welcoming, and full of fun. Here’s how our stay went… Check-In We arrived around noon on Sunday 5th October and were greeted with the warmest welcome from TUI rep Spike, who instantly made us smile. He gave my son a HV passport lanyard – and even handed one to my teenage daughter so she didn’t feel left out. Such a thoughtful touch! We were then pointed towards the welcoming drinks – a lovely, refreshing start. Because we’d already checked in online, the process at reception was super quick. Our room bands were ready in envelopes, and after providing a credit card, we were all set. Even better, our rooms were ready early, so we could head straight there. Reception staff were so friendly and upbeat – what an AMAZING first impression! Rooms We stayed in rooms 130 and 131, both with stunning pool and sea views. Honestly, stepping out onto the balcony for the first time took our breath away – absolutely beautiful. The rooms were huge, modern, spotless and well thought-out. The bathroom deserves its own paragraph – it was enormous, with a rainfall shower that was FANTASTIC, a separate bath, Jack & Jill sinks, and more than enough space for everyone to get ready comfortably. Fresh, fluffy towels were changed daily, and all the essentials were provided. The kitchen area was well equipped (even though we were all-inclusive, we appreciated the facilities), and the lounge area gave the kids their own little space to relax, complete with sofa beds, table and chairs, and plenty of storage. The bedroom was spacious with comfy beds, lots of wardrobe space, and room under the bed to tuck suitcases away – great design! Aircon worked perfectly and kept us cool all week. Food & Drink WOW. The main buffet restaurant was OUTSTANDING. The variety at every meal was unbelievable – there was something for everyone, and even my fussy eaters were impressed! Breakfasts had everything imaginable: cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, pancakes, churros, eggs every way possible, bacon, sausages, breads, cheeses, meats, and so much more. Lunches and dinners offered an equally vast selection – salads, pastas, pizzas, meats, fish, rice, vegetables, and endless desserts. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The snack bar was another highlight – we ate here most lunchtimes. The baked potatoes melted in your mouth! You could also grab burgers, nuggets, pasta, toasties, fruit, ice cream, and cakes throughout the day. We tried both à la carte restaurants, and both were AMAZING – great food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. The bars were just as impressive – every member of staff was friendly, fun, and full of energy. They’d dance, laugh, and make you feel genuinely welcome. I’m not a fan of pre-mixed cocktails, but if you mention that, they’ll whip you up a signature creation instead (no idea what was in them, but they were delicious!). The kids loved the refillable slush cups too. Entertainment The HV entertainment team were phenomenal – their energy was unreal! They got everyone involved without being pushy, and there was always something going on: quizzes, treasure hunts, foam parties, water games, bingo, pool activities – you name it. Our kids (14 and 11) loved joining in and made loads of friends. In the evenings, you could choose between HV entertainment (the “Purple Tops”) or the hotel’s own shows (the “Orange Tops”), plus a games room with plenty to do. Some nights were brilliant, others more low-key, but every single night you could see the effort the team put in – they truly give it their all. Cleanliness The hotel is spotless. The cleaning team work tirelessly and it shows – everything from the rooms to the communal areas gleamed. Our room was cleaned daily and always looked perfect. Beach Club A brilliant addition to the resort – we had so much fun here. It’s well worth spending time there for a change of scenery and a few laughs in the sun. Overall This holiday was everything we hoped for and more. The hotel, the people, the food, the views – everything was just AMAZING. We were genuinely gutted to come home. If you’re reading this wondering whether to book – don’t hesitate! Go for it. You won’t be disappointed. 🌞💛
• G4893SBmichelleh (10/5): Amazing wedding venue - I had my wedding in the Holiday World beach club and it was the most amazing experience. The staff were absolutely amazing. When they weren't busy making sure we had all the food and drink we needed they were dancing with us and making sure everyone had a great night. Nothing was a problem for them and they couldnt do enough for us. The manager Manuel was so helpful and stayed until the end to make sure we had no issues. We even asked them to order in a drink they dont normally serve for us and it wasn't an issue. I honestly can't recommend this place enough for a wedding. Special mention to Sheikh for his amazing dance moves and keeping the party going all night! The views were spectacular too :)
• Alexandra (6/5): - Pros: The staff are the most kind and efficient we have ever met in any hotel in Europe. They are truly amazing professional, helpful, and always smiling. They absolutely deserve the best recognition and payment for their hard work. The food was good, and the service at the restaurant was excellent as well. Overall, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made a big difference in our stay. Cons: Unfortunately, we found cockroaches in the gym, which was quite unpleasant. The bathrooms are unsafe: every time we used the shower, water would spill all over the floor, making it very slippery and dangerous. One of our family members even got a cut on her ankle because the shower door was unstable and moved unexpectedly. We constantly had to use lots of toilet paper to dry the floor after every shower to avoid slipping. The room conditions are quite poor — everything looks old and worn out, and several things are falling apart. Pros: El personal es el más amable y eficiente que hemos conocido en cualquier hotel de Europa. Son realmente increíbles profesionales, atentos y siempre sonrientes. Sin duda merecen el mejor reconocimiento y una excelente remuneración por su trabajo. La comida estaba buena, y el servicio en el restaurante fue excelente también. En general, la amabilidad y atención del personal marcaron una gran diferencia en nuestra estancia. Contras: Lamentablemente, encontramos cucarachas en el gimnasio, lo cual fue bastante desagradable, muy sucio el gym.

Hotel is a little dated but rooms are large and have a small kitchen, lounge dining area and the bedroom has 2 large double beds and a large bathroom. Food was good, our son found something to eat everyday. Close enough to Fuengirola and Benalmadena if you want to go out for something to eat. Our holiday would have had more stars had it not been for on our last day our cleaning staff stole money from us that was hidden at the back of our wardrobe in clothing. Reception staff were of no help and if honest were not interested. We contacted Tui on app and straight away agreed to look into it, we then went to inhouse rep and he was more than helpful and said he would speak to reception. A member of staff advised its a tricky one, yes i agree but at the end of the day we are still money short. Other guest also mentioned there personal belongings had been rummaged through or money missing. Again hotel and stay till this was brilliant, just house keeping let it down massively.
• Vesa (2/5): - When we arrived at the hotel, we were not shown the hotel's services, such as towels or the amusement park, etc. The hotel's breakfast was ok, but all the juices were water with artificial coloring. The pool was terrible because the music was playing too loud all the time. The hotel has a big safety risk because the railings are way too low for little children who climb on them. If a child falls down, there is no net underneath. I'm sorry we chose a completely unsuitable hotel for us.
• b0dn_rikb (8/5): Great family hotel - I went with my daughter (2 years old) and partner in September. The weather was amazing the whole time. The hotel was great overall. The staff were very nice, cleanliness was very good. We had our room cleaned every day and bins taken out. We arrived in the night and the hotel has organised to bring food to our room from the restaurant and put it in our fridge which was so thoughtful. The food was very good. Different types of food each night eg Mexican, Japanese, Greek etc and we loved them! Snack bar was perfect as my daughter has lunch before the actual lunch opened it wasn’t a problem because the snack bar had plenty of choices. The bar had chocolate milk on tap!! My daughter was over the moon! The pool area was so child friendly. Fake grass all around the pool which made it so safe for my daughter. Kids pool was ideal for all small children. Entertainment was decent. Very nice playground near the pools too which was handy in the early mornings before we went to the pool. Hotel had a shop which had pretty much everything but very pricey. The only negative about the hotel is the location. It was so far away from shops or anything to do. You need a car or take a taxi to get anywhere. There is a beach near the hotel which is only around 10 minute walk but to get down to the beach it is a loooong flight of stairs. But definitely worth it! The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the water very clean! Overall we loved the hotel very family friendly we absolutely loved our holiday!

If you are looking for a family friendly holiday this is a great place. Rooms - yes in need of updating which is being done this winter BUT it does what you want , clean bedding, big bathroom ( which was spotlessly clean every day). Kitchenette - got a kettle ( all you need if you are all inclusive) . Hotel Staff - warm welcome, always polite, helpful and friendly. ( Special mention goes to the restaurant manager who actually remembered us from last year) Tui rep - knowledge and friendly. Entertainment - well what can I say ? They can either make or break a holiday if you are traveling with children. Well they absolutely made our holiday, absolutely brilliant all day everyday ( who will ever forget my pool entrance on bing bong bingo - salmon being hooked on a fishing rod by my son ) Food - enough choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tasty and hot and the Chinese night was fantastic. All in all a fantastic holiday. Some people are moaning about various things BUT if you want a 5 ⭐ holiday then be prepared to pay 5 ⭐ prices. Definitely booking for next year. Thanks for a fantastic holiday and memories that will last forever.

• S8259GEmariar (8/5): Well catered for everyone and I mean everyone whatever your ability. ❤️ - The hotel is catered well for children and adults. The animation team are brilliant entertaining from 8am till midnight. The children are entertained with lots of activities. Never bored. Our room was a self catering apartment even though we were full board. Brilliant space and a balcony over looking the sea. If you wanted to watch sports this is a hit and miss in the Cinema. You have to tell the reception and stand your ground as it says Sports will be shown. The Irish bar is only open from 10pm to 12am. Music in main lobby is open till midnight again all shuts down. The buildings are split into two where on one side is an aqua park amazing. Look out for the elephants models beautiful. Lots of swimming pools. Each pool catered for babies to adults designed well. The main pool is your normal swimming pool. The food is average but assessable all day. All staff from the hotel are polite and helpful. The hotel has an amusement arcade. The other pool has a football and tennis courts, The hotel has trampolines and high trampolines like swings. This hotel has a thumbs up from me. I would go all inclusive well worth it. Enjoy you won’t be disappointed this hotel knows how to look after everyone!!!!
• Y1257XEstevens (10/5): great trip - what a truly wonderful 3 days my wife and I had on a short trip to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary our room was 511 which had a kitchen with cups plates saucers pots and pans cutlery glasses cooker kettle and microwave the living area is large with table and chairs big wardrobe pull out bed that doubles as your sofa the balcony is so big it has 2 doors one from living area and one from bed room the bedroom has 2 small double beds and another large wardrobe in the bathroom there is a bath with a shower there is also another shower in the opposite corner to the bath also twin sinks and a hairdryer the food in the restaurant is of a good standard with plenty of choice on to the bars which there are 3 off the main bar is by the entertainment area then the 2nd bar is close to the restaurant indoors but you can take your drinks outside were there is a large seating area some entertainment in the evening and theres also an irish bar on level -2 all other things you need including entertainment are on level -1 there is also a water splash park accessible from the hotel which is free all the staff work extremely hard would i go back yes in a heartbeat people who complain about this hotel must be looking for a reason not to like it there are water stations on level -1 as well the only little niggle i had was the onsite shop is a bit pricey and as you are in the middle of nowhere it can soon add up so make sure you have everything you can think off the hotel is one of three on the complex and if you fancy having a look theres a free shuttle about every 15 mins on a personal note we would like to thank the hotel for the bottle of bubbly we received for our anniversary it was an unexpected surprise once again a big thankyou from us both

• deadstupid21 (10/5): First All Inclusive Family Holiday 🪇 - What a lovely place. Second we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and never felt like we were asking too much. The reception staff, restaurant staff, bar and entertainment staff were all amazing. Big big shout out to Dani, Faith, Louise and Reece. They were full of energy and you can tell they are happy to work there. Rooms were a great size, only real issue was the problem with the fire alarm going off quite a bit but it's not anyone's fault, we just ignored it after a while 🤣 Food was good, drinks even better. I'm glad that the entertainment staff weren't forceful as I just like to lie on my sunbed and watch people take part. Overall, a great week here. We would definitely come again. Oh and a fantastic crisp selection in the shop, my partner's carry on was filled with crisps. Thank you everyone! ❤️
• Z5463YP (6/5): Have you looked at all your options before you book? - Stayed September 2025. Weather was great whilst there. It’s an AI family hotel so you have to expect a certain level of average food and noise by the pool or don’t go if this is an issue for you. Read all the reviews prior to going however this is my take: Good Pools- fantastic choice for kids between the 2 hotels. Entertainment team - Work day and night. Breakfast food - decent quality & choice. Rooms- decent size and balcony is also. Sun loungers - plenty for everyone by each of the pools. No need to rush out before breakfast. Beach- there’s a little nearby beach to the hotel you can visit if you want a day there. Reception staff- very helpful with anything you need and go out their way to help. Bad The beds - Not one for going too extreme but these are by a mile the worst beds I’ve ever slept on. We changed room at one point and no different. There’s more give on a concrete floor. Lunch/Dinner- As I said you need to expect some level of average food when catering for the masses but it genuinely is hard to stomach. SMOKING- there’s no dedicated smoking areas around the hotel. So if you’re a non smoker it’s not the best. You have adults blowing smoke on to kids faces by the pool etc. it’s 2025, even for Spain this is piss poor to not have smoking areas. Location - it’s quite far out from either Fuengirola or benelmadena so you need to get a taxi if you want to leave. All in all it’s an average hotel, it’s absolutely a 3 star, so if you’re happy with that then great! But if you’re paying decent money to go I’d look at other options.

• traceycD2785AZ (10/5): Benalmadena holiday village resort - Came for 5 days with family 11 of us including a 2 and 3 year old The hotel was lovely very clean the reception staff were wonderful always there to help The waterpark was amazing and being September it was not packed The all inclusive food in hotel wasn't all that,we much preferred lunch at waterpark which is included We were told we could book 2 separate restaurants in hotel included but when we tried to book was told as we only booked for 5 days we had to pay,this wasn't explained to us on booking Outside of hotel we went to furengolo to find a pharmacy as had forgotten to bring some if my medication We were able to buy my prednisolone over the counter for 2 euros I would say the marina with its shops and restaurants was amazing but they not very disabled friendly I had mobility scooter and there was more then a few places I couldn't go which was disappointing But would I go back to benalmadena Yes I would The sun shined brightly every day we were very lucky as temperatures were high.
• 492libbyl (10/5): Best holiday ever - The best hotel I have ever been too. It’s amazing for children, I have an almost 4 year old and a 7 month old they both loved it. Sad to be leaving the place, it is beautiful here. The food is nice, the restaurants on site are great too. There’s so much to do here and you can also just chill it’s really truly great. The beach club is awesome too Rooms are clean too. I already cannot wait to come back next year. The Staff are so friendly and great with children. I’d like to give a special review to Faith as she was so kind and friendly whenever I saw her around the hotel / behind the bar she was delightful

Positives Lovely see view (definitely upgrade for this) Pools are v good Entertainment team work hard and are good especially during the day around the pool Room was big and had a kitchen with kettle, toaster and fridge Reps friendly and helpful Good location - on the bus route to Benalmadena and fuengirola Breakfast good Not so good Do not go if you want a relaxing holiday. Music and loud entertainment from 10am to 11pm. Too over stimulating for my daughter. Room not cleaned v well, floor was filthy, bed linen had marks. Bed linen only changed two days before we left Balcony furniture dated, plants on our balcony dead! Food poor, lack of choice at evening meal especially for the kids, pizza and chips daily Staff in restaurants not friendly Restaurant v noisy and v busy Evening entertainment mainly the reps which was ok but would like to see more local acts Irish bar had cockroaches , dates, dark and depressing! Beer not good. Cat faeces on the mini golf course! Main restaurant indoors, only place to eat outside is a la carte restaurants In summary will not be returning
• SanchezOnTour (8/5): Great For Kids - Have just arrived back after a 4 night stay, I joined other family members who were there for 11 nights. First of all, lets be clear, this place isn't for us adults, its for the kids and for that, it is perfect. I bought the holiday through TUI, so AI. Coach transfer from / to Malaga airport. Airport was busy both days but well organised. Got to the hotel about 12:50ish and my room was ready, so happy days. Your room key is in the wristband you're given, which is a great idea, however they do not always work, which is a pain. Family members I joined gave up using their wristband keys and asked for key cards. I had room 336. Vary spacious, huge balcony. Dated but done the job. Do please pay extra for pool / sea view, you will not regret it! Maids came everyday to my room, which I was impressed. I had issues with ants the first day, reported to reception and never saw ants any other day since. I spent 3 days around the pool and one day at the beach club (was a nice change). You get food / drink at the beach club as part of your AI package. Pool was closed the first day I got there due to child having accident the in pool. Parents, please just put a nappy on them, really isnt hard! So much entertainment around the pool each day to keep your kids happy, they will never be bored. No need to get up at silly o clock to get sunbeds, plenty to go round. Most sunbeds are fenced off until 10am. Please be careful with your belongings around the pool. My sons new trainers were stolen from on top of our bag by our sunbeds. Food was your usual AI fare. You certainly will not go hungry, there is always something for everyone. You also have a snack bar to keep you going around the main meal times. My son took part in the football academy, would definitely recommend and got a certificate on stage, so that was nice. The only thing putting me off going back in the future would be some of the clientele. I am a working class man and far from a snob but some of the characters you would see on a day to day basis, interesting shall we say. • LancsRyan (10/5): An excellent family holiday and the Swim Academy with Louise is absolutely fantastic - Visited the resort for 11 nights in August, a really spacious, well maintained and clean hotel. The rooms are spacious, but dated - however the air conditioning is really good. The entertainment is good, given that it is a family resort, and is rightly catered towards children. There's plenty of activities for children of all ages, the kids club is very secure with parent photo sign-in and sign-out. Well airconditioned play room which served well during peak heat. The pools seem clean, and the life guards are quick to tackle poor behaviour. Food was varied, but cyclical, and after a week you have done it all. The team were very hard working - and a big thanks to Alex who greets you for his continuous good service. Slightly frustrated at some of the additional expense which I think should be incorporated into the price, particularily having to pay for the safe (~€3.65 per day) and having to pay €1 per sunbed towel for a fresh one. The pool bar is good, and a thank you to Carlos for his good service too. CruzCampo is on tap, but mind that its stronger (5.6%) than the UK equivalent, as I learned the hard way. Cocktails are premixed. The absolute standout highlight of the holiday was Louise and Ciara of the swim academy, who were absolutely fantastic in building my Son's confidence in the water. Louise was absolutely incredible and I cannot thank her enough. Really pleased with the holiday overall.
• molly1953 (2/5): On tour again - We turned up & there were 200 kids in sports gear,we were not warned by TUI about these kids,they were on a sports academy trips.Every where we went they were there,knocking on doors at 11pm,riding in the lift,playing football all over,We caught the bus to go to torremolinas to have a break from them.It is only a few euros & worth a visit.Deffo would not return & surprised TUI use this hotel.
• D2985KVpatricias (6/5): an unhappy customer - The hotel is ideal for families with young children as there are lots of activities and plenty of pools. The rooms are dated and tired. We were placed in a room which was facing a railway line with trains running every 20 minutes in addition when we looked over the Terrace there were dirty nappies, towels and rubbish. We complain to the hotel and the rep and we were moved on the second day to the fifth floor still facing the railway lines and a lovely view of a rubbish dump we advised the hotel that we were still unhappy, but they were unable to move us. I would not I’ve booked this holiday costing £3000 for seven days if I’ve known that I would be facing a busy railway line. Also I purchased a ring from the jewellery shop on site called Seana they had a 50% sale and I purchased a ring for €140 after three days the ring broke when we were back in the UK. So far I have called the hotel directly twice. I have been told that they do not own the shop and only rent it. They are unable to give me a phone number to contact them directly with my complaint and I’m still waiting to be called back despite leaving my contact number twice a very unhappy experience. So if any representative of this hotel would like to help me out, I would be most grateful.

There was a time lag between our daughter’s booking for herself and her two children, and the booking for the two of us, a retired couple. Closer to the date of the holiday, she did ask the hotel if it could be arranged that our rooms were close to each other. The hotel did brilliantly; our rooms were not only on the same floor, they were next to each other! What? The holiday was booked with the expectation that it would be an all-inclusive holiday particularly suitable for youngsters (early years). When? The holiday was booked for one week in mid-August. Where? The hotel is located between Benalmadena and Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. The closest airport is Malaga, and transfer time by coach for us was a little over 30 minutes each way. Our daughter and the children used a taxi in each direction, and the journey time was a little less than 30 minutes each way. Why? The children were of an age where they could be well-behaved enough to undertake a journey which involved them getting up at about 3am to get to the local airport before 4am, enduring queueing for security check, enjoying a breakfast at an airport lounge, getting to the departure point in good time for the flight and not being nuisances for the duration of the flight. And, of course, having a great time at an all-inclusive holiday in a safe environment while experiencing a slightly different culture. Is it really all-inclusive? It’s much like many other “all-inclusive” hotels; some things have to be paid for, depending on the hotel. At this hotel, for example, the room safe has to be paid for. The HV app does have a “Payable” section for some children’s activities, but there are plenty of activities for which no extra has to be paid. How did it go? After arriving at the airport and finally getting our baggage reclaimed, there were people available to ask and we got the information we needed to find the transfer coach. An update sent from Tui about which coach to take did not make it to my phone until after we actually found the coach, boarded it and got away from the airport. Just us? Poor signal quality in certain areas is a known problem. Disembarkation from the transfer coach was a disappointment; the coach reversed into a sort of roundabout on the hotel grounds, about as far as possible from the hotel entrance which was uphill from there. The usual tip for the driver, who would generally take bags off the coach and deposit them on the ground, stayed in my pocket since I was too busy taking the bags off myself. Just our coach transfer? From previous experience, checking in on arrival at a hotel can be rather slow, so I checked in online before our arrival. In the reception area, there were queues for those who had checked in online already, and those who had not. Inexplicably, the queue for those who had not already checked in was shorter and much faster moving than the other queue. Eventually, we were seen and provided with a sort of all-inclusive wristband with a “chip” to unlock the door to our accommodation. The “chip” was a source of frustration and irritation. Whether my wife or I tried it, the success rate for unlocking the door first time was very low. On one occasion it worked first time; usually only after twenty or more attempts, if at all. A helpful maid tried to assist us, but she found the process just as unsuccessful as we did. We took her advice, reported it to reception and received a far more reliable card. If you have read this far in the “How did it go?” section, you may be wondering why the expression “Closing in on perfection for our family“ prefaces the review; it’s because almost all of the rest of the holiday was so good! The accommodation was spacious and comfortable; there was a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave cooker, hob, crockery, cutlery and various utensils; there was a bathroom with double hand basins, a bath with overhead shower, a separate shower, WC and bidet; the bedroom had a wardrobe with safe (pay extra to use), two comfortable adjoining beds as a double, bedside cabinets, light switches and power points wall-mounted above the bedside cabinets; there was a door leading to the terrace; the lounge/diner area also had a door leading to the terrace, dining table and four chairs, a sofa bed, flat screen TV, wardrobe and air conditioning controls. We made little use of the kitchenette having selected the all-inclusive board. What of the eating arrangements? The main restaurant was more than satisfactory with a wait of only seconds at most to be directed to a table to suit five of us (and with a high chair when one of the children was feeling tired). The restaurant food? We were never bored. The complaints seen in some reviews of menu repetition seem unfair from our experience, but since we only stayed for a week, perhaps the menus are the same every week rather than every fortnight? On one occasion, some breakfast food did run out but we didn’t have to wait for long before it was replenished. It was an opportunity to indulge in items we don’t often, or never, have at home… starting with churros and hot chocolate, which the grandchildren enjoyed. The snack bar food? It depended on the time of day, regarding availability. The range of hot food was limited but on the occasions that we investigated, highly acceptable to the grandchildren whose only criticisms were the absence of barbecue sauce for the chips, and vinegar confusingly labelled “vinaigre” (yes, French spelling, not Spanish). What of the hot drinks in the hotel? The Cappuccino, Americano and Café Solo coffees were as highly satisfactory as the hot chocolate. Freshly prepared fruit juices in the restaurant were even better than the machine-dispensed ones. Fizzy drinks were as chilled and sparkling as we expected. The lager was no disappointment. The red wine, white wine and sangria were all more than acceptable. We didn’t get round to trying the rose wine, just too busy doing other things. The all-inclusive cocktails, spirits and liqueurs we tried did not fail to please, but in fairness, we did not try every possible one. Advice regarding booking the a la carte restaurants early on was taken. These restaurants do not function at weekends, so choices may be limited. Our preferences were available, and we tried both the “Oh My Burger” and “Don Gennaro” restaurants. Dining outdoors is possible but on a windy day, indoors is preferable. The menus for children and adults differed slightly. Both food and drink were highly enjoyable. Poolside entertainment can be very noisy, but we saw nobody complaining. The hotel is international. Since we’re British and booked with Tui, we were not surprised that Holiday Village activities were basically for British and Irish holidaymakers. Spanish holidaymakers were catered for by a Spanish-oriented activities team. One Spanish example was the Children’s Disco around 9pm or so just outside La Colonial Piano Bar. Our grandchildren would have been happy to join in, but they were tired out and asleep not long after Totz Disco, so they missed out! The Holiday Villages app associated with the participating hotels is not the best ever to navigate around, but it has plenty of helpful information, especially for activities of great interest to a couple of grandchildren. It made suggesting what to do very straightforward. The system for the hotel to look after the children was very reassuring regarding the Kids Club; if you didn’t use the app to identify yourself as the responsible adult, the child didn’t get in to the room. If you weren’t the responsible adult set up with the app, you couldn’t take the child out of the room at the end of the activity. Poolside, shade is at a premium, and knowledgeable holidaymakers will quickly make for sun loungers in areas likely to be still in shadow at the hottest times. These are easier to find for a couple than a family of, well, five in our case. Although the trees, awnings and thatched parasols are not moveable, the sun loungers are. Towels (the ubiquitous pink ones) are available free of charge from the hotel, but there is a charge of one euro to clean each one. There are taxis and buses to the local towns of Fuengirola and Benalmadena, but the grandchildren were having so much fun in the hotel and Beach Club, we decided not to investigate this time. The Beach Club opens at ten in the morning and is very popular; the route requires using a footbridge to cross the road; it provides fine views of the immediate area. It is part of the all-inclusive deal, but there is a payable VIP area which we did not investigate, so cannot pass on more information. The upper level of the Beach Club seems to have more opportunities for arranging sun loungers in shady spots than the area poolside back at the hotel. There are fountains and a pool which the grandchildren enjoyed. At a lower level, there is a pirate ship and pool areas. Sun loungers here are few, close together, do not stay available for long and need to be appropriated early. Inflatable “doughnuts” are available for hire to use the water slide. There are height restrictions, but there is chance to check before hiring. Beyond the water rides are tennis courts and the football pitch. The snack bar does not dispense alcoholic drinks or coffee during open hours, but these drinks can be obtained elsewhere. We tried to give the grandchildren as many opportunities to try every activity they were interested in every day for the whole stay. They were rarely too tired out but occasionally the activities were too popular and at full capacity already. This happened to one of the party who was unable to have a go at Water Walking and was almost inconsolable. On a later day, the same grandchild did manage the Aerial Adventure activity and two different level swimming activities, as well as all of the other water play and running around! There are many hardworking staff at this hotel; they do their best to entertain holiday guests, keep the place in good order, clear tables, clear rubbish, replenish empty food containers, provide the drinks for the holiday guests, answer queries, tidy rooms and so on. There were so many who deserve a mention, but I’ll just mention one: Sean was a memorable character, approachable, informative, funny, here to inform, not here to do hard-sell on excursions, and an asset to the organisation. Travel Tips: 1. If practicable, and this does depend on the company and the flight time, deposit the suitcases at the airport the night before. 2. If the airport provides passport checks/security checks for a family group, use it to reduce stress. 3. Get all paperwork done (check-in, boarding passes) before the day of departure. 4. A folding buggy makes transporting tired children easier, and also doubles as a packhorse! 5. Bring an insulated cup to keep drinks cool. 6. Poolside noise can be reduced by wearing noise-cancelling headphones.

• xxCatherinexx (8/5): Excellent family holiday - A brilliant family holiday with a 6 year old. The staff here really make this place and a special shout out goes to Louise and Ciara who are the swim academy team. The progress our son made with them was absolutely amazing and they made such an effort with all of us around the resort too. The entertainment team work extremely hard too, there is never a dull moment and something for all ages to do ranging from bingo, paddle boarding, aerial adventure, aqua aerobics and so so much more. The food is your typical all inclusive buffet but was of a good quality and again, the staff work so hard here too helping to check for foods suitable for allergies. You can get a visit in the separate restaurants and whilst I wouldn't bother with the Italian as you can get similar offerings in the main restaurant, I would definitely recommend the Oh My Burger restaurant for a gorgeous steak and brilliant staff who helped me practice my conversational Spanish when trying to complete the whole experience with my duolingo knowledge! Another special shout out goes to Alex who was always a friendly smiling face in the main restaurant and pool bar, keeping things running efficiently and just being a lovely presence. Great pool area at the main hotel with plenty of sunbeds. I really liked how they were gated until 10am which stopped the typical sunbed saving. We also witnessed a lifeguard removing towels that had been sneaked in before opening time which was fabulous. The beach club is another great addition with plenty of additional pool areas and is only about a 10 minute walk away over the bridge. You can continue using the all inclusive over there and it makes it feel like you are on a mini excursion. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is due to the quality of the rooms which I hear are going to be refurbished this winter. The rooms are very big but are dated and nothing was stocked in the fridge apart from 1 carton of water on the first day which i found slightly odd for all inclusive. You also have to pay a daily fee for the safe which I strongly disagree with! Massive positive for the brilliant air conditioning though and also the way reception handled an issue with a broken shower door. Overall we had a fantastic time here and we were very sad to leave!
• F827PXmarkb (10/5): Another amazing holiday - Just returned after our 3rd year in a row coming to this hotel Just spent a week here with a 9 year old and everything exceeded our expectations as always. The front reception has had a beautiful make over and we were greeted by the TUI Village reps, Sean , Alejandra and Danielle these are the heart of any questions and issues that may occur , always polite and always helpful And as always Trevor is upfront on reception and so helpful to everyone, he ensures your first greeting is a joyful one and handles the checking in for you. Our room was waiting and ready for us, the room is spacious, spotless and what we needed for our requirement's. It has 2 double beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the front room. There's a separate kitchen area and a large very spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, bath and a shower and the option of a safe in the room for just €3.50 per day. The restaurant has had an amazing make over this year, it's so much prettier and the layout is great. The floor managers are so helpful in greeting and guiding you efficiently to your seat to ensure you're not standing around looking lost. A big thank you to Alex who was always walking around with a huge smile every night we were there. Also any dietary needs you can speak to any staff members who will support your request but the best person would be head chef Pablo I found him so polite and helpful and he highlighted the range of free from products vegetarian products and other dietary needs that people may require. Pool side is amazing with plenty of sun beds , half are open to grab when you want and the other half are closed off and opened at 10am This just ensures every late awakener gets a chance at a bed but overall a sun bed is always available. There are 2 bars located on site with bar staff always at hand and polite , Faith on the smaller bar in the evenings is always a joy to be served by and next to that bar is a snack bar where food and drink is always ready and available We also tried both the Italian restaurant and American restaurant which is included in the All Inc package and the food was absolutely delicious. This hotel also includes a Spa and the always happy and smiling Jorge who was there to offer you spa service. Yo can get Spa towels for free via a token you get on arrival from reception. The holiday was amazing and our 9 year old loved it. She even went out and got a Spanish dress and was complimented by the bar staff and they took the time to talk about the culture. A big thank you to manager Manuel who also took the time to stop and speak to us and also compliment our little señorita We thank you holiday world and we will see you again next year
• Nicsstuff23 (10/5): Another fantastic holiday - This was our third year visiting Holiday Village Costa Del Sol, and we have already booked to return next summer for our fourth! We love everything about it, the facilities are brilliant, the staff are so accommodating and work incredibly hard, and there is so much to do. Our 9 year old daughter has additional needs and adores coming here, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is great, the newly refurbished restaurant and reception areas are brilliant and the restaurant staff are fabulous. One of the ladies (apologies we didn’t get her name) kindly took the time to explain the provenance of one of the Spanish breakfast items which was really interesting and very appreciated. Alex and Pablo in the restaurant were so friendly and ran things very efficiently, and Faith on the bar was brilliant. The entertainment team were fantastic, always so high energy and friendly and my daughter loved joining in with everything. The rooms are clean and spacious and the pools both at the hotel and the beach club are both clean and well maintained. Trevor on the front desk and the deputy manager Manuel both couldn’t have done more to make sure that our stay was amazing and we are very grateful. The spa was a lovely treat and Jorge was so happy and friendly. A truly brilliant week and we can’t wait to return again next year
• corrinep852 (10/5): Brilliant family holiday - Just returned from the most amazing family holiday! We spent a week here with our two kids (aged 18 and 10). Everything exceeded our expectations and we were genuinely sad to leave. Our room was spacious, spotless, and perfect for a family, with two double beds in the main bedroom and a sofa bed plus pull-out bed in the lounge. The separate kitchen area, complete with a fridge, was super convenient for keeping drinks and snacks cold. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the entertainment team. They were full of energy and made every day fun with their brilliant shows and activities. We split most of our time between the main pool and the beach club, both of which had plenty of loungers available, no need for an early morning dash to reserve them. We also tried both the onsite American and Italian restaurants, which are included in the all-inclusive package and the food was absolutely delicious. The main buffet and snack bars offered loads of variety, so we were never bored of the options. A highlight was the Asian-themed Sunday dinner, we all highly recommend. Other thoughtful touches included free beach towels and the option of a safe in the room for just €3.50 per day. Already looking forward to coming back next year — we truly had the best time 😊

The room with kitchen, the seperate pool over the bridge with salt water, lazy rive, waterfall and adults area, the flow of fresh and delicous food, the entire place is SO clean!!!! Oh my gosh CLINT who is part of the restaraunt team was outstanding. My daughter is allergic todairy and we were soworried and he was literally our HERO. He went above and beyond to make sure there was always something she could have down tolollies. There is so much fun and entertainment at pool side. We have already booked to go back next year AMAZING in every way x
• sexylegsjohnson (10/5): Fun filled family hotel!! - Stayed at the beginning of August 2025. Like many other reviewers I was concerned by the negative ones. WE HAD A FABULOUS TIME!!!!!! At checking in we were greeted by big smiles from the desk staff. Who checked us in quickly and put on our All Inclusive wristbands. These are also your room key. They then informed us our room has ready, 2 hours early! Amazing! Straight to the room to unpack and get into the pool. The room (439): Spotlessly clean and tended to by Erica, she did an amazing job and provided fresh towels for us everyday. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a one bedroom room. The beds in the room are 2 large singles/small doubles pushed together to make a huge bed. The living room there is a double sofa bed. Our 3 year old bunked in with us and my 13 year old son loved the sofa bed and the room to his self at night. The rooms are huge with plenty of storage in both the bedroom and living area. The room also has a dining table with 4 chairs There is also has a separate kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge and a bit of space to store your cases and pram. The air con in the room is excellent and easy to set with simple controls. The bathroom was MASSIVE. With double sinks, huge mirror, hairdryer, toilet, bidet, bath with shower and also a separate shower too!! Plus there was room to spare. Spotlessly clean. The balcony is magnificent. Once again huge, with glorious views of the pool and sea. 4 chairs and a small table are there too. As others have pointed out the room was looking tired with aging decor( didn’t bother us, just telling the truth). But the hotel is in the process of revamping the rooms for next year. Again, the room was spotlessly clean. The Hotel: It consists of two huge blocks, 5 storeys each with plenty of FAST lifts accessible. The interiors of these blocks are open plan with views down to an indoor tropical garden in one and a magnificent yacht in the other. These are connected by the lobby area. Very modern and spotless again. Buffet restaurant: It’s BIG! Loads of seating. However, if you turn up at peak times you may have to wait to be seated. We never did and ate there 3 times a day. Huge selection of choice. Fresh salad bars, live cooking areas, paellas, desserts bar. They also did theme nights. My son loved the Asian night as he loves sushi. Again I don’t understand the negative reviews saying the food was cold. The plates you collect under the counters are hot to start with and the food is replaced constantly. Everything we had was hot and delicious. The drinks are self service, with juices, cold water and branded soft drinks readily available. Cruzcampo beer and wines are available lunch and dinner. Loads of staff cleaning constantly. They work hard. The pool area: Wow! It’s massive, great for young kids with a gradual depth progression from the two main ends. Even though we were there at peak holiday time the pool never felt over crowded. There is a small round toddler pool which they use for toddler activities. My 3 year old loved it. Loads of sun lounges available poolside. Loads get reserved at stupid o’clock but we always managed to find some whenever we went to the pool. We are not sunbathers so we looked for shade. There is a small kids play area with climbing frame/slides. This got VERY hot in the sun so be wary of that. There is fabulous pool bar which is between the main pool and entertainment stage. This place is great with fresh ice for your drinks and self service for beer, branded soft drinks, juices and water. There are bar staff there for other drinks orders too. MEGA TIP! Invest in pool shoes for the little ones. The ground around the pool gets extremely hot even the astroturf. It will burn your feet! Definitely take sandals/flip flops for besides the pool. Entertainment: DOWNLOAD THE HOLIDAY VILLAGE APP! It’s great and keeps you updated on the activities that go on throughout the day. There are fun activities both in and around the pool all day. Quizzes, aqua aerobic, floating assault courses, etc On the main stage there are plenty of shows to keeps the kids entertained till 11pm. There is a live singer every evening at the Colonial Bar for a bit more grown up entertainment. The Beach Club: Accessed from a gate near the main stage you take a short walk over a bridge(wheel chair accessible) over the road to the Beach Club. This place is great my 13 year old loved it. If you want to use the water slides you have to hire an inflatable ring. These cost 10Euro each with a returnable deposit of 10Euro. The wave pool is loads of fun both with a ring or without. Be wary it is deep. The other pools are good sizes. We did find the kids pool with the Pirate ship to be cold. TOP TIP. The ground gets extremely hot and both me and my son burnt our feet getting back to the start of the waterslides to retrieve our sandals. Invest in pool shoes, trust me. There is a bar near poolside which is included in the All inclusive. With self service for soft drinks, juices, water, etc. Colonial Bar: Lovely area with live singers from about 9pm. I found the staff here not particularly friendly which lets the place down a bit. I know they work hard but at least be pleasant. Other bits: In the block with the yacht there is a handy shop that sells toys, snacks, drinks, alcohol, gifts. The Arcade only opens at 5pm which is weird and you cannot use the pool tables until this opens. Disappointing as sometimes I like to have a game of pool in the afternoon. Overall: This hotel is fantastic it caters brilliantly for families with kids up to 12 years old. The entertainment for the various age groups is brilliant. For teens not so much. However the WiFi is good so my son liked that fact. We will definitely be back!
• JamesWBA (10/5): Great Family Holiday - Recently returned from an 11 night stay at this hotel with my wife and child. The holiday overall was fantastic and one that all of us enjoyed and would go again! The journey to and from the airport is around 35-40mins and is straightforward going down the main motorway. The check in process was quick and easy, although this was made quicker by checking in on the holiday village app. The room key is in your wristband which is a great idea and saves any faffing about looking for it in your pocket/wallet. Rooms are dated, but spotless and ours was in good working order. The air con is very good. The rooms and balcony are big so no complaints from me, the beds were fairly comfy and the sofa bed was alright. Food was your standard all inclusive type of food. It was warm but not piping hot, but cooked thoroughly may I add! Perhaps more variation would be better but it was fine. Drinks are your standard type too, with basic branded alcohol served at the bars. You want premium you will have to pay for it. Pool(s): The pool is big and has a gradual decline which is good for accessibility, they have restrictions on inflatables which is a good idea personally, the beach club opposite is a decently sized water park with more pools and slides. It is part of your all inclusive package. The pools open at 10am which I didn’t mind as much as what I thought I would have. For early risers this could be troublesome but I felt it curbed the ‘dash’ for sunbeds. Entertainment: On the stage it is based purely for children with the odd show for adults. We thought it was brilliant and the entertainment team were fantastic and work very hard to make it worthwhile for most. The entertainment around the pool during the day is decent too with the same team running foam parties, pool parties, bing bong bingo, quizzes etc. They also host a later show down in the Irish bar which is either a quiz or singing or that type of thing. Staff: Staff are always happy and helpful whenever it was needed. They’re very keen on the task at hand which is nice to see. Also I saw people with allergies to some foods, go up to the chef and they would cook something that is required for them which was good. Main areas/ Shops: Shop is big and sells literally everything, but you’ll pay a pretty penny for it. Not too expensive but a markup on standard shops. All of the lobby area, outside area, pool, restaurants are very clean. Some areas need a bit of updating it would seem but it doesn’t affect the holiday. Location: Around 15mins taxi ride away from both Benalmadena Marina or Fuengirola beachfront. Costs around €12-15 one way. Would recommend visiting those if you can. I would also advise going to see Mijas Pueblo! What a stunning little place that is! The hotel isn’t near anything of note, the walk to a shop seems a good distance to be fair so if you like walking around looking in shops bars etc then the location would be a problem. Overall the hotel in itself is very clean for such a big hotel, it needs a bit of updating and maybe areas of maintenance being done, the pools are clean and big, the staff are attentive to their jobs which is great, the entertainment team work hard for their money and deserve credit for making our holiday that bit more special. It’s not the best hotel I have ever been to, but it provided enough for what we wanted out of our holiday and would recommend this place highly to any who ask. It is a complex more suited to families than couples I would personally say, with children being focused on for their enjoyment.

• lisawebb73 (4/5): Dated and dangerous building, - The whole hotel is very dated. Each level feels very uninviting, and looks like a jail. The playground was dangerous, so many people complained. This took 2 days to be fixed. Our room was extremally dated, with a filthy fridge, broken safe, huge crack though shower tray, and the door to our room, was damaged, therefore not closing properly. We contacted Tui. We saw them the next day. We offered a 2nd room, with air con, which was blowing out dust, another dirty fridge, broken and exposed electrical cables, and the toilet, was not fixed to the floor. The safe had a huge hole, so unable to use! We had to complain again, and had to wait for the problems to be fixed. We were only there for 4 nights, and would have left, if we had a 7 night stay. Around the hotel are exposed electrical cables and a collapsed ceiling!. Be careful when walking around the hotel...lots of trip hazards, where the flooring is broken. We returned home and I made an official complaint. Apparently they had so many more serious complaints, so they could only offer £170 in compensation. !! This is NOT a 3 or 4 star hotel.....do not waste your money!! On the plus side, the staff our all very welcoming and friendly.

• ClaireyB72 (8/5): Good family fun. Lots for kids to do. - Holiday Village Costa Del Sol Belamadena Hotel Is part of Hotel World with a sister Hotel next door. Guests at both hotels can use facilities at both- we didn't. It is a massive hotel and you can easily get lost with the number of different lifts/areas. Staff are happy to help though. Rooms Room we stayed in was a fair size for a family of 4. Separate twin room and large twin sofa bed in living area. We just kept this down but you could convert back to sofa daily if you wanted to. Air con is very good. My 2 kids said they were cold so we got them extra blankets! Rooms, it is fair to say are very dated but clean. Housekeeping is daily if you want it. We had balcony with mountain and sea view which was a nice, quiet change from the noise of the day. Some rooms overlook the pool and bar so no respite from the noise. 2 showers and 2 wash basins in the bathroom was handy. Food Breakfast Starts at 7.30-10.30. Plenty of space to sit and plenty to choose from. Traditional English fayre and continental options. The kids really liked the pancakes and churros. They do run out occasionally but are quick to make a new batch. You can help yourself to juices, fresh and from machine and also different coffee. Lunch Salads, burgers, hot dogs, jacket potatoes with various fillings, cakes, fruit... the list is endless. Cardboard plates and plastic cutlery- just chuck it in the bin when finished. Also, further hot selection in the main restaurant. Snack bar As lunch but limited to the fast food- chips, burgers etc. All well presented and plentiful. You can eat at your sun beds as long as not too near the pool. Beach bar As lunch as the snack bar is more like another huge restaurant. Lots of seating mainly inside as you are not allowed to take food out. Al la carte For every 7 days you are here you can book 1 meal each in the American and Italian restaurants. The pizza and vege lasagne in the Italian were very good- you can take away any left overs if you don't finish. The vege lasagne was probably the best meal I had all holiday. We had ribs and burgers and wings in the American restaurant. Vege burger was not good. Ribs ok for free. Chicken wings better (so i was told). All in all it's a change from the buffet style offering. I personally wouldn't bother with the American place. I would say that vegetarians are catered for in that you can put together sides to make a meal. Only occasionally is there an offering that I would class as a main vege dish eg vege lasagne, vegetable rice. Some examples I had: curried chick peas with rice, roasted veg with chips. The pasta dishes made in front of you were usually good. Pools The hotel itself has 1 large pool and an infant paddling pool. The pool opens at 10am. There are plenty of sun beds. Over at the beach bar there are 5 pools and a splash park. There are 2 slides going into 2 of the pools-one of which is very deep- for these you need to hire giant inflatable rings (double/ single). Cost for this is €40 per day but you get €20 back on return of the rings (so €20 for the day). You can use the slides as much as you like. Be aware if you like to use large inflatables of your own, they do not allow any larger than 60cm in the main hotel pool. In the beach bar pools they only allow inflatables that are purchased in their shop. Again, the beach bar area open at 10.30. Some guests queue at the gate of the hotel to get across the bridge first! There really is no need though. Beach There is a beach fairly close by however access is down steep steps. The further you walk away from the hotel the easier the access becomes. Daytime ents Bing bong bingo, water polo, quizzes, swim school, paddle boarding, foam party, football academy etc. Some you need to pay for. Evening ents Quizzes, live music, mini disco, shows put on by the ents team, shows from external artists. The ents team do a good job. For kids Mini disco, Trampoline, Bungee trampoline Small high ropes, paddle board lessons, Swim lessons, archery, games room etc. Staff Are mostly positive and engaging. Always very busy. Ryanair Not flown with Ryanair before- prob would not book again but this was a holiday booked through Tui- didn't expect to fly with anyone else other than Tui. Arrive at airport and no bag drop til 2 hours before flight so sitting around with cases for a while. Admittedly you could just arrive at airport 2 hours before! We took a trip to Marbella and Puerto Banus via taxi and public bus- it is very, very far away! Glad we saw PB as it is very nice. However, it is very, very far away! I wouldn't do it again! We also took a trip on public bus to the Harbour in Benalmadena- a nice couple of hours. Public transport is resonsonably priced. We took the Tui trip to Gibralter. Totally recommend this. The apes and St. Michael's cave was amazing. We also did the Tui dolphin spotting trip- we saw a pod of 5. Was excellent and relaxing despite choppy water! If you have any questions please ask.
• Sheebird (10/5): Great hotel - We arrived around 11ish. Room was ready. We had paid fir the sea/pool view and it did not disappoint. Excellent idea having the chips in your wrist band to access your room. The whole place was spotless. Staff worked really hard. Can't fault the place. Rooms were lush and spacious. Maybe a little dated but perfectly formed. Air con was great. Was lovely having the little kitchen area to keep drinks cool. Balcony was big and can access out of both rooms. Food was good. Pretty much bog standard all inclusive but the burger place and italians you get included one visit of each during your stay were phenomenal. We didn't really watch the entertainment but the singer by the quiet end was great. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The pools were busy but to be expected in a massive hotel. The beach club was nice and the lunch there was great. We used it mire as a base but really enjoyed our stay. 100% recommend.

Just soft drinks and beers or red/white wine from the tap. The cleaning lady was top. She was very polite. We won't come again!
• Levtweeney (8/5): Amazing hotel and pool with some issues - Where to start? Firstly the positives. I can not stress how fantastic the pool areas in both the hotel and the attached free water park are. They are some of the best we have ever been to. The hotel pool is large and great for kids up to around 12-13 years. There are activities every day around the pool from inflatable assault courses, foam parties and competitions. The hotel pool area is perfect for toddlers and those not that great at swimming. However the absolute star of the show was the attached water park. This was free to all inclusive guests of the hotel and was the most amazing place. The pools (there were many) were huge, well laid out and suitable from young toddlers right up to adults. The staff at the water park were honestly the best we have seen. They were organising activities, dancing in the pool, water polo etc and most people were keen to take part. The water park was only 3 minutes to get to from the hotel. The food for lunch at the water park was also free to all inclusive guests and was plentiful . A large selection of snacks, desserts, and meals were available for free. I have looked and I can not see any hotel that comes close to the pool facilities this hotel has and on this basis alone I would give it 6 out of 5 stars. Areas for improvement include… The food. It is repetitive, no doubt about it. However this does not mean the food was bad. It was not but after 10 days we were desperate for a change. This might be the same in most all-inclusive hotels but it was a definite area we struggled with. Oh and on Mexican night there was no Chilli Con Carne, what’s that about 😆 Rooms were a mixed bag. They are very big. The balconies are really huge. The bathrooms are easily the largest in a hotel I’ve stayed in. The bath was a waste for us as we prefer a shower but the shower was a little too small. The kitchen was a waste of space. No one is cooking in these rooms not with the all-inclusive food available. The fridge in our room was dirty on the outside and stained and in our opinion needed replacing. The pull out bed was broken and was a real struggle to make up each night as it was on the floor and would not rise up. The rooms were tired and in need of updating. I would say a mixed bag of 3/5. The hotel public areas in general were very very clean. Honestly the place is huge so we’ll done on keeping it mostly immaculate. One area for improvement would be the lifts (there are loads) these are one of the main areas used by customers multiple times a day and you can really see the dirt and grime in the glass windows both in the lifts but also just outside them including dust and dirt build up, These really need a good clean and should be a priority for the management especially in the summer season. This hotel is never going to have as many people staying in it as in the height of summer so cleanliness of lifts, glass, and lifts areas must be perfect so all these customers leave with a great impression. A very good 4/5 for the public areas with some obvious let downs. Entertainment. This was a real let down for us. It was pretty amateurish to be honest. Lots of effort to be sure but the quality was just not there especially at night times. For us we preferred the quieter singers by the snack bar who were hired in and were obviously more professional. There were loads of staff however both during the day and night and they really did try 100% to make everything fun but it just did not work for us and many others from what we could see. A average 2.5/5 So would we come back again? Yes we would but I would want the rooms to have an upgrade first. We would possibly only stay for 7 nights and not the 10 next time so the food did not become so repetitive. But my god the pool areas were AMAZING 🤩
• michaelbhoy1888 (10/5): Great hotel and loads of fun! - Stayed for a week, 2 adults and 2 kids, one 8 the other almost 2.. whilst we'd read some comments about buffet not being great amongst other things we couldn't fault it. They had Mexican and Asian nights the weekend we arrived and they were great.. buffet and snack bar open most of the day so you definitely won't go hungry! We did find it slightly noisy on our first night but you don't even notice it by day two. Kids clubs were great, our 8 year old did them every day, sometimes the only one doing it but loved every minute. Pools are great, they have activities on every day as well to cure the boredom, foam party rave was a particular highlight, 8 year old loved it as did I! Evening entertainment was very good also, geared at families and kept everyone busy. You help yourself to pints and soft drinks which is very handy so no queuing at the bar unless you're after spirits.. Having to walk across the bridge to other pools wasn't ideal but minimal annoyance. Beach is a 10 min walk (20/25 if pushing a pram as you can't go down steps then) and is great but be wary of strong riptides as we found out very quickly. Overall, just a great hotel, great staff who were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back again!
• Q5100OXkathrynl (8/5): 10day all inclusive stay as a family of mixed age kids - Great hotel, facility’s are great. Pools are good. Activities all over the complex throughout the day. We used the crèche for our 2year old , couldn’t fault them and the peace of mind knowing he enjoyed it. Kids was entertained evening times with the different activities from the entertainments team who work around the clock to keep you and the kids entertained. Foot at the Buffett had plenty to choose from, all cooked fresh and was nice, the 2 restaurants what you can book in try them but we preferred the burger place out of the two ,only did 1 visit to each one. Overall we had a good experience. The splash park you can use and walk across to ,not far at all. You can eat in the restaurant there for lunch as it’s the same as Buffett selection, No charge for this if your staying at the hotels all inclusive. Rooms was a good size, pull out sofa beds ok in living area , ok for kids to sleep on not adults, beds was comfortable for a few days and then I could feel my back playing up, I have a bad back anyway and need a certain mattress type, it was ok for a holiday mattress. Rooms cleaned daily and towels replaced, and a clean. I like this, it helped the rooms feel fresher. The shop on the complex is good, sells most things but at a premium as to be expected. It wasn’t overly priced though. If you forget anything that shop will sell it. Thanks to all the staff at this resort you all work very hard to maintain it, thanks for making it a nice experience. There is a Facebook group you can join and ppl share things to do, if they are leaving they leave items what could be of use to you. It’s good to join to get advice etc. Overall was a good holiday & a good experience.
• 38ldb (8/5): Good family holiday and great for small kids - Great hotel for families with young kids. Staff friendly, rooms spacious and clean and food decent. Added advantages are your room key is a chip in your wristband. A little tricky to get the technique but easy once you get the hang of it! Also the beach club has a good selection of other pools and you can access a full buffet dining room for lunch and self serve soft drinks . Downside is the rooms are a little dated and the size of the main pool seems small for the size of the complex so can feel quite crowded. My kids are older so did not attend the clubs but the staff certainly go the extra mile to entertain the kids. Also the arcade games room is decent with all pool tables and games in working order. Special mention to George in the health spa who was so welcoming. There’s not a huge amount right next to the hotel but you can access the beach in 5 minutes and 10-15 minute walk towards Fuengerola you come across some lovely beach bars and restaurants. It’s downhill so be prepared for the climb back up! Overall we had a great week. Some of the negative reviews are very harsh and the staff do a great job running such a massive complex. It was very busy at the time we stayed but I’d go back at a less busy time.

Day & night entertainment/activities were amazing. Pools/toilets/bars all very clean. Food was really nice, so much to pick from even for the fussiest of eaters. We alternated between the main pool and water park each day - loved both. Loved having room key on a wristband. Tips: take euros, little added expenses here and there (kids trampolines/arcades etc) not too pricey though. I’d recommend a sea view room. One suggestion I would give to improve this hotel would be the rooms having an update, they were very clean but could do with a bit of TLC - that would make this a 10/10 perfect family hotel.
• Paradise59003414826 (10/5): Fantastic Holiday memories made. - We have just returned from a 10 night holiday at the holiday village my husband and two children 7 & 9 and grandparents and all of us had a fantastic time! After reading mixed reviews I went in unsure how it would be but all I can say the people who have negative reviews must of gone to a different hotel to us. Everything is fabulous! The staff are all friendly and helpful, The entertainment staff work so hard to make sure your having the best time! The rep Sean was very helpful we done three tui trips and they were all brilliant, the dolphin boat trip was amazing.. the market & bio parc and the water park. The food and drink at the hotel are great! My children loved pancakes and Nutella every morning! Great themed restaurants too and themed nights in the buffet restaurant. Weather was lovely. The beach club across the road is also great! We went to the beach which was a short ride in a taxi for 6 euros. My daughter cried when we had to leave because she loved it so much! Leaving with fantastic holiday memories made. Thank you Holiday Village.
• PoePickle (10/5): Amazing Family Holiday!!! - This was our first family holiday abroad so we were super excited and didn't know what to expect. The reviews on here were very mixed so was a little worried. We truly had the best time, all four of us. We took a 5 and 12 year old. Firstly the staff, every single one of them, no issues, happy to help not rude in the slightest. Even the staff in the restaurants running around crazy, did not once feel unwelcomed! The hotel was very clean, everywhere. Our rooms were cleaned every day, towels changed every day. The entertainment was second to none. I give such high ratings to all the reps and the staff at the Holiday Village... They were incredible. The kids never run out of things to get involved in. The kids clubs are safe - I'd never left my boy in the hands of anyone I didn't know, so I was a little apprehensive but once you registered them, they had a photo, signature and contact details to sign them in and out and also the doors were locked once in there for a couple of hours (depending on the activities). Everything is free to take part, apart from the "academies" they have swimming academy, football and stage academy and you have to pay for those as they are a few sessions long. We never had chance to get into the American or Italian restaurants that are on site... You get to eat in these once if you stay longer than 5 days ( I recommend book in advance as they were super busy) they are closed Saturday and Sunday too. The normal buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was brilliant. We aren't fussy eaters, some people were complaining of cold food... Not being funny but the later you go, naturally the longer the food is left out on the hot plates, not much you can do about that. The food was lovely, had plenty of options. If you hav allergies or specific dietary needs you can ask the staff and they will sort you out a meal fresh. There is a shop on site that's reasonably priced, sells most things you can think of. If you want to do laundry, you have to collect tokens from reception, it's €7 per wash and dry though. We never left the site unless it was the TUI trips we went on which were brilliant btw. I highly recommend going to the market in Fuengirola that's on a Tuesday. It's huge!! We came back with loads of deals on football kits etc. Mini golf is free you ask them at reception for the golf clubs and you have them for an hour at a time. The evening entertainment is amazing if you ask me. I was on the dance floor more than my kids. They have trampolines and go karts open during evening entertainment for kids, you do have to pay. There is an arcade and plenty of pool tables around. Sun loungers are always reserved early, so make sure you get down there early in the morning if you plan on staying poolside most of the day. We had an amazing time. Some of the reviews on here are a little over the top of just petty in my opinion. Such as the decor of the rooms, it was a standard decor of a hotel to em, our room was massive, the bathroom is bigger than our bathroom at home and that's good enough for us, as long as it's clean (which it was) I don't see the issue but they are renovating rooms ready for next summer. I admit we paid a lot for this holiday but we aren't the type to expect everything dripping in diamonds so everything we experienced was brilliant especially for my children, I didn't want to come home yesterday - I cried!

I noticed some previous reviews complaining about the location of the hotel, maybe check the location of the hotel before you book?! For us the hotel was perfect, we spent most of our time there by the pool, we also went across to the water park across the road. There is a beach near by (10/15 min walk). There was various kids activities held ay the hotel/pool throughout the day. The food was fabulous, great selection and if you can’t find something you like, then there really will be no pleasing you. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you giving us a wonderful holiday! Would highly recommend for a family!

The food was your standard all inclusive food (not the best you’ve ever had but something for everyone definitely) I saw someone else say the staff were rude, we didn’t find this at all, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were having a lovely time and we were always well attended to. (Shout out to Faith at the bar who always had a dance and a laugh with us) the rooms were always clean and we didn’t find the hotel tired looking at all, it’s just a hotel with character, :)
• GemmaStew (8/5): Family holiday - We have just returned from a family holiday and had a great time. Our son went into the crèche twice and loved his time there. The team in crèche are wonderful and welcomed my son with open arms. He tried to get back in when it was closed! The pools were great - nice a warm and a big size. The down side is that they don’t open until 10am and the sunbeds are fenced off until then too which is quite late when you are with a toddler that gets up at 7am! The park beside the pool was great as well. We used this more in the evening as the slides were too warm from the sun - to use in the day. The food as usual all inclusive standard and I was a bit tired of it after a week. We did go out for dinner a few times. The beach club is great also - just a 5 minute walk over the bridge and it is all inclusive for your food and drink there too. The location is a bit far out but we didn’t mind getting a taxi around. The entertainment team were good. Bedroom was big and had a separate lounge and bedroom area. The bathroom does get very very slippery so I’d be careful of that. The floor could also have been clear but the rest of the room was very clean. Shop in hotel is so reasonable compared to other hotel shops. Our only criticism is that when we were there, there was a football camp staying. ‘Profutcamps’ and they actually impacted our time. In the afternoon of our last two days, the kids were in the pool with no consideration of other guests. I have no issue with children playing around but these kids were so rough, wrestling and kicking in the pool - I had to move my son after he was kicked in the back. Splashing people and jumping on each other. Running around the pool, arguing with staff at the bar because they couldn’t have slush drink, skipping infront of people. All whilst their chaperons were sat on loungers on their phones and one was at the cocktail making activity. Another guest actually asked one of the chaperones to speak to them. One chaperone came later and was very angry at their behaviour but the others didn’t care. I would absolutely return as we had a great time but I would check if these camps were on first as this would change my decision.
• D8886OKmattm (8/5): Good holiday for family - Stayed for 8 nights June 22-30 as a family of 3 which included a 4 year old. We had a good time but weirdly we weren't too sad to come home like some places, I feel like this is probably due to the fact the location is pretty remote and not near anything, requires a 10 minute taxi return ride but don't want to be paying taxi everyday. Entertainment - cant fault the team as they put a lot of hard work in, but we have been some places where they make more effort to talk to new arrivals/kids and get everyone involved. They seemed happy with the same faces volunteering or playing games. My daughter is a shy 4 year old so would not naturally go up to them, but they did not approach her or encourage her so she did not get involved with anything which was disappointing baring in mind its a family entertainment hotel, and we spoke to a few single kid families who felt the same. Restaurant- Hit & miss but always something to eat. Drinks - Usual AI drinks and anything more expensive have to pay for. I think there should be another free lager option rather than just cruzcampo. Shop - onsite and not too expensive as some reviews have said, although I am from London! Waterpark - really good and good to get out hotel a little 5/10 minute walk over bridge. All in all a good holiday and lots of fun in swimming pool, but have been to the Ibiza holiday village which was a lot better.
• patriciawU4241VG (8/5): Ignore the negative reviews - great family holiday - I don't normally write a review after a holiday, however, after reading some of the negative comments on here, I just had to state our opinion and how we found the Village Hotel. Please note, I am usually a right moaner! We were a family of 5 (Aunt, Uncle, Niece and Great Nieces) for first week of stay, increasing to 7 people for second week as our daughter and son-in-law joined us. Stayed 15-29 June, 3 rooms with pool views and balconies on 5th Floor. Pro: All the rooms were found to be very spacious and generally clean. Con: Floors were not swept or mopped and our feet were always dirty. Two sinks in bathroom and two showers, one over bath and the other one a power shower cubicle. All Inclusive was great and included entrance to Water Park, across the bridge. Food was a bit repetitive but you'd have to be a right fusspot to not be able to find something you liked. The choice was huge. We had one vegetarian in our party and she never went hungry. We enjoyed two visits to American Restaurant, however, only went once to Italian as we did not enjoy it at all. Staff in bars and restaurant were not overly friendly, however, they are working very hard and don't have time to stop and chat. Reception and spa staff were lovely and I have no words to describe how much our kids loved the Animation team. These young people should get medals, the amount of effort they put into entertaining the children from morning until bed time is absolutely amazing. In 30+ degree heat as well. To summarise, I would recommend the Village Hotel to anyone looking for a family holiday. You won't be disappointed.

The entertainment teams were fun and full of energy even in 30 degree heat. Night time entertainment was great and my 4 year old loved it. Everywhere was clean and tidy and people were cleaning the area around d the pool all through the day. Anyone that caused issues were dealt with quickly. Shout out to Shannon from the purples. She was so nice to my little boy playing the summer games with him and that was really appreciated. Will be going again!

• leam583 (8/5): Great family holiday - Priviouse reviews saying the rooms are outdated however we didn't mind this at all there were two big sinks in the massive bathroom a bath with a shower and also a separate shower there was a little kitchen with a fridge freezer and a big bedroom with two double beds that slept both me my husband andmy toddler. Great balcony with sea view. The evening bar staff by the entertainment were very efficient but not overly friendly. However all other staff experiences were great. Especially the restaurants staff they work really really hard to keep the restaurant clean cleaning up after us all for breakfast lunch and dinner and the snack bar in between making sure the food was replenishd and all was tydy food was plenty full loads to chose from however a vegan might struggle but the snack bar has the biggest jacket potatos iv seen 😊. Hotel and pool side staff always cleaning up( even though there are bins provided)bind emptied frequently and pool water tested regularly. Plenty of sun beds . Water park over the bridge was good you can use your all-inclusive to get food. It was a bit busy with local children but I think it was Spanish half term. The beach is 10 mins walk but is down some steep steps Entertaimnent team were brilliant with the kids plenty of activities and our daughter loved the kids disco and the stay and play in the crèche 1145 1245 Mon to sat. Didnt manage to see the later entertainment as our daughter was asleep by 930pm The Spanish team also let our daughter play in their room with the soft play our room was above the central outside part where the Spanish entertainment do their evening entertainment it was a bit loud trying to sleep but we did manage it was also quite nice to be serenaded to sleep and also finished at 1030. There is a bus stop outside hotel we got into benalmadena but it's a bit confusing where to get off so we used our sat nav to put in the sealife centre and got of the closet stop to that. Overall great holiday 😊
• Nichola2002 (6/5): Average - Just come back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. You get a wrist band on arrival which is your key to your room. This is a good idea if it worked but every time we wanted to access the room we would spend at least 5 mins trying to get in. Beach towels are available. Reception didn't tell us this when we arrived. Next day we went back to reception where they give you a voucher for each person. Then you go down to the spa to get the towels. If you want them changed its a £1. When you give them back, you go back to the Spa, where they then give you the voucher back which you then have to go back to Reception to give back to them. Why the Spa can't just have sole responsibility for this, i don't know. The rooms where clean but very outdated. Entertainment was ok, some of it was questionable but that made us laugh so did have a good time. We didn't use any clubs so we can't comment on them. Went to the Beach Club when we arrived. It was very busy but managed to find some lounges and enjoyed an afternoon there. We did notice there was a lot of local people there so I assume they offer day passes. Went back there the next day and settled in for the day and suddenly at least 200 local children over ran the place. They took over the slides, every pool, the spa pool, wave pool, they were everywhere. Did a quick google & turns out Spanish schools were on holiday and looks liked they ran holiday camps at the Beach Club. Decided to spend the next day at the hotel pool which was quieter. But, sunbeds are crowded in so hopefully, you will get nice neighbours, unfortunately we didn't. The pool was closed down in the afternoon and out of use for the rest of the day. Not sure why but rumour was that someone had mistaken the pool for a toilet. Self-service for good beer, wine and soft drinks were available throughout the day and the cocktail bar was open all day for anything else you wanted. Only had 4 cocktails available which were all pre-made and not particular nice. Food was average. Two of us are vegetarian and found the choice quite limited. Some days we couldn't even relay on there being a pizza we could eat. They did have a good range of meat and fish dishes though. After our 4 night stay we definitely had had enough. Breakfast was nice, good range of drinks and food. I do have to agree with some other reviews about the staff being rude though. The staff in the restaurants were pleasant. But there was one manager in the restaurant who came across quite angry all the time. The cocktail bar staff at night were very rude, they literally filled your glass up a quarter of the way and basically chucked it at you. If they spent their time given you a normal size drink then perhaps if wouldn't be so busy. They looked like they hated their job and it's only June. Not sure what they will be like in August. The bar staff in the hotel were mildly better but did often feel like we were an inconvenience. I have to say, I wished my Spanish was better then I would be able to understand what the staff were saying. We did have a good time though, but we wouldn't come back. We got a very good deal on this holiday. If we paid the prices that Tui are wanting now and for the summer holidays I would be very disappointed.
• S1955ERcharlotted (2/5): GREAT entertainment team - can’t fault them. HOWEVER everything else is RUBBISH !!! - Would never visit here again unfortunately. Foods absolutely rubbish, no options and always running out. Rooms are very dated and ‘broken’ - things fixed with tape and wallpaper, wonky mirrors. Maids just felt not to clean our rooms , and when they did not properly. Have to pay for CLEAN swimming pool towels, £1 a towel so for our family it’s £6 a day… Half the staff are extremely rude Entertainment team are fantastic !!! Hence the 2 star review.
• grsu (8/5): Fun in the sun - Firstly, if you have booked to go here later in the summer ignore any negative reviews. We are only marking as 4 out of 5 simply on the rooms. They are beyond dated and if you are a certain vintage like us you will love the bathrooms as they are a throwback to the 80,s. The power shower was awesome and I wish I had the same at home. The rooms were clean mind and you are rarely in them anyway on holiday. Spacious and large balcony with superb sea view, however there is no way this had been cleaned in years as the drains had a mini forest of weeds growing out of them. The entertainment team work tirelessly and do not bother you if you do not want to join in, we must give a shout out to Jade and Reece, so. Genuinely friendly and always made a fuss of our young granddaughter. You must also go to the mini disco, good timing at 715 pm and then plenty of shows etc for other ages till around 11pm. There is loads to do here and the main pool is the place to be for kids entrainment through the day. If you are on All Inclusive you will not be disappointed. The food was plentiful, fresh, hot and a large selection and variety. If anyone complains about this then NOTHING will please these people. You can help yourself to coffee and tea and all soft drinks and draught beer and red and white wine and sangria. Any dietary requirements just ask the chef. They were all super helpful to my daughter who had fresh food made on the spot specific to her dietary needs. Brilliant. If your little ones like slush then you pay once for their choice and it is then FREE for all of your stay. If on All Inclusive this also gives you access to the Beach club across the road. Utterly brilliant and loads for the little ones to do. All your drinks and food are included so you do not need to back over the bridge for drinks and food. Should not be charged for room safe this should be in with your AI price. Hotel should ban ALL smoking. The smell is disgusting while trying to relax in the sun. Would not hesitate to book again. The value for money we felt was excellent. Thank you HVW for our wonderful holiday.
• cherylwN4131LF (2/5): On tour again - Arrived here and could not believe our eyes it was over run with teenagers,there was a sport academy on tour here.I do not mean 11 kids for a team there was at least 200.The hotel is just like a prison,where were there were 5 floors,but theres lifts.So great got in the rooms.These kids were running about up & down the corridors,in the lifts,banging on the doors after 11pm.We did speak to the teachers the next morning who just said"how do you know they my kids "I then went to find a TUI rep who said its only till thursday,the day we arrived was sunday !!!!! I asked if we could move hotels,bearing in mind we had paid £1000 each.to be told you can but you will have to pay more money.So we went for breakfast & it was like a mess hall,kids throwing food,food on the floor,I walk with a stick & if I fall or slip some one has to pick me up.So we left & went back once the kids had left for the day.What made me mad was when we were looking for a holiday,we choose TUI as its family friendly,never at any time was there any mention of these sport academys.We would never of booked.It was great until they all came bacck in the afternoon & everything started again. The staff were run of their feet trying to keep every where clean & tidy. We were not the only ones complaining in the hotel. We caught the bus which stops across the road from the hotel & went to Torremolinos for the day just to have a break from it all,which is wrong as we had booked all inclusive.So all in all we felt it was a waste of money & will not be returning to this hotel.
• marcz544 (10/5): Great staff at this Hotel - This is the second time we have visited this hotel an ne & my family absolutely love the place. This is an interim review but I'll post a final one once we leave on Wednesday as we've been here almost two weeks. But the food, entertainment fir the children, the water park attached to the hotel are all top notch an the variety of things to do, eat an engage in a brilliant. Albeit this in an interim review I just wanted to me tikn how welcoming & accomodating the staff are. Alex, Francisco, Jesus & Esther have all made us feel a part of the family here. Alex has been a brilliant host at dinner times an such a warm man to our children. Top guy. I feel I have made a friend in Francisco too who I met last year an he is a brilliant engaging staff member....again a top guy. I'll post a final review when we get home on Thursday but the staff here are brilliant an have made us feel very welcoming 🙏 😊
• O8982WDdebbiet (10/5): Familymoon fun! - First time staying at a holiday village and it was genuinely fantastic! Fab view of the pool & sea from our room. Maids always cleaned it each day. Had asked for couple extra towels from reception and this was done almost immediately. Reps so helpful for local info & can book excursions with them too! Arrived around 2 one afternoon after being delayed leaving Glasgow. Room was ready, went for lunch & managed to find sun beds at the big pool no bother. Spent most of our time over the bridge so kids could play at the splash park and go down the slides. Lazy river was fun, had to pay a deposit for double ring but got some cash back on return. Had saw reviews saying u couldn’t eat over here even if u are all inclusive. This is incorrect u can have food between 12:30-3 from the snack bar. Entertainment team pop over to kids pool at splash park about 2:30 for kids mini disco & games which my 6 & 3 year old loved. U can get a half yard cup for slushes for 4.50 if ur kids like these, unlimited refills for the week. Snack bar here has a good selection in my opinion & ice creams here and at bar for kids. At the main restaurant we felt there was a lot of choice even for my fussy daughter. Some bars are self service which I prefer! We booked the a la carte restaurants which were both amazing but I loved the Italian so much more. These seemed to book up quickly as first couple days we were there it was close to 9 for food. We booked later in week at 6 which suited us better so be aware these can fill up fast! Always seems to be something on entertainment wise, stuff on at main pool. Kids club which my kids didn’t want to go to unfortunately. There is an app which shows u what’s on and what u may need to book for kids. My youngest went on an inflatable thing in the pool with her dad and loved it! They do swimming lessons & football and tons of other activities. Entertainment team always seem to have tons of energy and try to get kids and some the adults involved. We had couple days out one to playa de Bil Bil beach in benalmadena which was gorgeous. Comfy sunbeds, not very dear. Near to McDonald’s which my oldest had asked us to find. Lots of shops nearby too. Looky looky men a plenty selling goods as well as people with drinks, fruit & offering massages. Also went to selwo marina which I think enjoyed more than the kids. Dolphin chat/show was amazing. Used bolt or uber app to get around. There are few beaches near the hotel as well so u really don’t need to go anywhere. Hotel shop pretty reasonable too price wise. Kids loved the machine in arcade that u got a small toy for a euro, kept them entertained. Would perhaps go back if we got a good deal as it’s honestly beautiful and plenty for kids to do.
• K2096AArachell (10/5): Very good experience - Having read very mixed reviews we were a bit anxious before our trip but honestly we don’t have anything negative to say! Me and my husband travelled with our 3yo son. We spent pretty much all day every day at the beach club water park, the shallower kids pools were absolutely perfect for him, and the splash pad! And he enjoyed going in the deeper pools with us. The children all made friends and we met lots of lovely families as well. Never a problem getting sunbeds, all the facilities were clean both at the water park and the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the buffets breakfast, lunch and some dinners and really enjoyed the food! Something different to try each night along with regular features which was great for the kids! I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits, salads, fresh pizza, bbq meats and desserts! Rooms are basic but with so much to do you aren’t in them much, kept clean and tidy daily. We used uber to travel to some local towns some evenings, including old town Marbella which was lovely! Overall a lovely holiday, wish we went for longer!
• paulwH719AQ (6/5): Hit and Miss, go if it's cheap would be my advise - We visited this hotel due to being moved by tui from the holiday to Almeria we had booked. The holiday to America was 5* and although this was only 4* we decided to give it a chance as we where told it was similar standard. That wasn't true We did have a good time at the hotel, the food was good for an all inclusive as there was plenty of choice especially for the kids who can be quite fussy eaters. The entertainment of an evening was good too, probably some of the best I've seen in Spain if I'm honest. The beach club over the road that's included is also good. There was somethings that let the hotel down though. Firstly the rooms need modernizing,they are clean but the decor is dated. There are hidden costs around the hotel that isn't mentioned beforehand for example if you want to use a rubber ring at the beach club to go on a slide it's around €20. Also some of the staff in the hotel are rude. The reception staff are quite obnoxious and check you in, give you your wrist bands but then tell you your room won't be ready for another 2 hours. This is the first time I've ever had to wait for a room to be ready in any hotel and it's disappointing especially when you have young children. Also the bar staff at the pool bar are disgustingly rude and I wasn't the only person who said that. If you do go to the hotel and the bald man with the beard is at the bar just go to another bar, don't waste your time on him. On the flip side the staff at the beach club where very pleasant so maybe the other staff could learn a thing or two from them. Overall we ended up having a good holiday as we didn't let the negatives ruin are time there. Would I recommend the hotel? Im unsure on that. If you got it cheap then yes but if not there are plenty better hotels available
• danielsonwil (2/5): Garbage service at a la carte - Do not eat at the a la carte you will be waiting all other for your food my children finished there deserts be for our food even came oit making our dinner even more stressful than necessary essentially ruining our night from dinner onwards! Ridiculous
• Charlie_Rotherham1 (8/5): Nice 7 day escape from the UK. - The rooms where nice, beds where quite comfy, skyline from the room was amazing. The live music outside got annoying after a bit. Normally finishes at 11PM. The all you could eat buffet was nice but most food gave some mebers of the family ill. TVs where only in Spanish, would be nice to be able to change the language. Pool tables near the amusments whern't cleaned. I was nNOT worth the value, £4,459.99! Got crouded in the holidays, kids screaming, childern running around. I was bringing a drink back to my tables than a kid about 4 or 5 y/o ran into me, parnent on their phone, kids dropping plates. There was an "Irish Pub" on -2 which had no one in it, no workers, no mkeamber of the public, no one. Laundrey room left to rot, 2 wasing machines and a dryer with a single chair. Please make -2 more usable.

• Heidi (8/5): Great family holiday - We had a fantastic family holiday. The pools were perfect for our small children. Thank you! The old part of the hotel is a bit oldfashioned but we knew this when we did the booking (and the rest of the rooms will be renovated next year). The minigolf and playarea were also our kids favourite.
