Guest Reviews
- Kathryn (4/5): - We had a large room and room was fairly clean. Sheets had cat hair. Owners very pleasant.
- Shauna (2/5): ont do it keep clicking find a better place - This place is not the place to stay! Very dirty the husband is rude and the WiFi sucks.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was the absolute worst room I have ever stayed in, and the gal at the registration desk said that it had recently been remodeled.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was soooooo run down, the office guys was not friendly. Our key didn’t open the door had to go ring the bell and he had to give us another key because he had to use a screwdriver to open the door omg really. Garbage still in trash cans, towels had stains, stuff still in the fridge. It was horrible
- Creig (6/5): - I was delighted by the new amenities and upgraded facilities.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This property is obviously pretty old, we thought a little high for what we saw. You can tell they don't bleach the towels and if they do it isn't like other hotels. But overall it was clean and cute.
We booked on line for a 2 bed queen the same day and when we got there someone else had done the same and got there first. They gave us the King room for the same price (good thing) but there was 3 of us adults. Good thing we are family! Lol That could have gotten awkward.
Location we thought was good.
We would consider it again. Price was $85 a night, last minute on a holiday weekend.....you can't complain abouy that!
- Charles (6/5): A place to spend the night - Convenient location just off the highway. Disorganized check-in, but was upgraded to a bigger room. Hotel is old and is a bit strange in the mismatched furnishings. The beds were clean and comfortable and the shower worked. I could not get the wi-fi to work and the TV would only allow going up the channels but not down.
- Linda (6/5): - Parking was not easy. Nice size room. Owner was helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The bathroom was filthy, and some one else's pube hairs were decorating the tub. Towels and sheets were worn, stained and also had other peoples hairs on and in them. Found a spider in the bed as well as a part of a Xanax. The photo shown of the inside of the room on the site does not reflect the reality of the inside of the room at all. Very, very disappointed. I get it was cheap but you should be able to have a clean bathroom and linens and not have to wear your flip flops in the shower.
- Bill (2/5): - This is the worst hotel i have ever been to. I could not stay there. The room had been heavily smoked in. Nothing like the pictures. Scamers
- Lenny (4/5): - Dirty. No drinking glasses. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. One bedside lamp didn't work. Just very disappointing for the price.
- Beth (2/5): Didn’t even go in - After calling, again, to confirm reservation to be told they couldn’t find reservation and would have to have a bigger room, we pulled up and it looked like the sketchiest hotel I’ve ever seen. As we parked and stared up we saw at least one drug deal, the place looked falling apart, there was garbage everywhere, overflowing litter boxes outside of 2 doors and a ton of people watching us. We didn’t even go in, scared our car would be broken into or stolen. Called up the super 8 in nampa and went there. $20 more and the place looked like a 5 Star after that.
- RobinC1240 (2/5): Terrible experience - The power outlets didn’t work, so they had an extension cord ran in the room for power. Large cracks in the walls. The audio on the TV didn’t work. The bed was made with dirty stained linens. We had to body slam the door to get it open and shut. The bathroom ceiling was filthy. The smell of insecticide was overpowering. After posting review on google, the manager came knocking on our door at midnight to discuss, scaring us too death! They rudely informed us that no refunds could be given.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not the greatest - Very "budget" place to stay, for a not so budget price. Tiny little pillows, no hand towels, towels were a mismatched set, the tile floor was sticky, the power outlet in the bathroom is inaccessible because the plug itself is upside down and the light switch is directly above it so my blow dryer cord would not plug in. And there were hardly any other outlets in the room to use. And the ultimate deal breaker, NO COFFEE either in the room or in the lobby. We paid $81 for what should have been $50, in my opinion.
- Vina (2/5): - I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Sorry but just being honest.
- Creig (6/5): Adequate - Cheapest motel in the area. I wouldn't stay there except the location is perfect for visiting my family.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Changed hotels right away - When we pulled up, it was so noisy because it's literally right next to the I-84 freeway. The freeway is on the same level as the motel making things even worse. Exhaust fumes are bad. In the check in office was a kind woman sitting in a tank top holding her infant on her lap and another young child close by. Clearly no air conditioning and they all looked hot. When I booked on Expedia, I was not aware the booking was non-refundable (motel policy, not Expedia). I didn't even need to see the room to know I didn't want to stay there. The best part about the experience was that the woman agreed to refund my money. I'd rather camp in a tent someplace quiet than stay here. It's OK if you have no other options.
- Randal (4/5): Inexpensive but we would never stay there again. - OK, pros and cons leaning to the cons. TV remote did not work the TV, only the cable so you had to get up to turn on and off and set the volume. Ours was on HDMI2 so no cable to we reset it to HDMI1 and you have to know what you are doing. No face towels or wash cloths because she said they get stolen. Door was jammed and looked like it had been busted in and refit. No phone in room. Lamp by bed, but not outlet so it could not be used, making room dark. Bed sheets were itchy. Undesirable location, lots of people milling in the parking lot. No, Kleenex, had to use TP. Room was attired ok, but old. PROs-Toilet seat cover and mat matched shower curtain. Never had a cover and mat in any hotel. Room was inexpensive, and had refer and microwave. The manager was very nice.
- Marley (8/5): Great place to stay - This is an older hotel right next to I-84 but the rooms are still quiet. The staff was awesome and met all of our needs and very friendly! We stayed for 3 days and i will definitely stay there every time I go to Caldwell! Our stay with them was the best one we've had! Thank you so much to the management and staff for making us comfortable and feeling welcome!
