- stevebR859UW (4/5): Tight slot machines, mediocre food court, soft and lumpy mattresses and pillows. - Slot machines have low rate of pay, mediocre food court, soft mattresses and soft pillows. Expensive food. Cigars are not sold. Not a great experience. Felt ripped off. Slot machines do not give bonus rounds. Put several hundred dollars in slot and hardly any payout. I know you don’t got here to expect to win but Jesus this place isn’t worth it. Takes the fun away.
- Jimmy (10/5): - It’s a great place to have in Sonoma county
- Rosa (10/5): - Casino, pool and we didn't do spa this First-Time visit. BUT the place is amazing and employees ate friendly and welcoming and nice. The foods are amazing too. We definitely are coming back as there is shuttle bus convenience if you live in the city 😉 we were pleased with the overall. Now smoking that quite bit but you can wear mask. Which i might do next time. But we had fun we lost and won money but that is expected. There are expending the casino doing more construction. We are looking forward for our next trip...🥰🤗 the room are nice and spacious and comfortable ✨️ 🥰👍we love the casino.👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
- Monique (10/5): - Are room locked us out 3's we eat are dinner on the floor in front of are room they had to put a new lock then everything else was so awesome the front deck asst. Was the best ever
- KnickerbockerJones (10/5): I will keep coming back to Graton for this. - This is a fabulous Casino and Resort but let’s talk about the spa and salon because it is such a hidden gem at Graton. I do not know how long it has been around and I saw it on my last trip to Graton so I decided to try it out. I do not know how busy it normally gets so I decided to book a hydra facial and keratin treatment 3 weeks in advance and I am glad I did because they ended up closing early for an event.
Hostess/front desk: First impression: So warm, inviting and I wish I had gotten her name. The spa is well lit, smells amazing and I love the turquoise color scheme. She took me to the women’s locker room.
Locker room: There I was provided with a locker, robe, sandals. You can put the robe over your clothes if you want to. The toilet seats have automatic seat covers that I have not seen in a long time. There is a sauna and pool. I did not use these facilities but am planning to. Towels are provided and you can even get mouth wash.
I started out with the hydrafacial by Alexis. She is friendly, beautiful and skin looks amazing, which is what I look for in an esthetician. My face looks amazing. I wish I had added the eye treatment but maybe next time. I really should have just added all of the add ons. I did not look at my face until I sat for my hair appt and WOW, my skin looks amazing.
Tranquility Room: I waiting in this room my keratin appointment. There I met a wonderful, kind worker named Marta. She took wonderful care of me while I waited. This room has turquoise seats, water and coffee. You can also wait in here for your facial, hair appointment, and massages.
Keratin treatment: Chiharu was fabulous. A beautiful Japanese woman who was very knowledgeable about my hair treatment. She was also fantastic conversation. She always made sure I was well hydrated. My hair looks great. Dyson hairdryer, YES!
Everything here was quality from the products to the tools to the treatment. The prices for services are comparable to San Francisco but with a humble and warm staff at all times. The spa is free to use for resort guests but I wish the treatment counted towards reward points. I will be coming back soon because this spa is worth it. Yes, I have will keep posting it everywhere that is how much I love this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Graton Resort & Casino - Pool time was amazing, great casino/ gambling experience!
- Jill (2/5): - We are extremely disappointed with Graton. We were subjected to VERY loud music starting at 9:30 am. When I called the front desk they advised they are warming up for a pool party and there is nothing they can do about it. We will never visit Graton again if this is how they treat their guests.
- Crisalie (10/5): - The room is spacious, staff were friendly and easy check in.
- Frank (10/5): - Property is clean and well kept.Staff is friendly and courteous.Food is good and pool area is nice.
- Cindy (10/5): - Graton is the nicest all around Casino Resort in the Bay Area!
- Roque (10/5): - Great service. Maybe more breakfast options
- monica (10/5): - I like that casino is right there!
- Nagesh (8/5): - Nice property with on site amenities. Spacious rooms
- Mark (10/5): - Like a Vegas resort
- Taffy (10/5): - Perfect stay!
- Leni (10/5): - Super clean, spacious
- amelia (10/5): - Love the everything
- Gene (8/5): - Great resort to go gambling with friends. Great side games for playing black jack too.
One weird thing is that in the hotel room the outlet power kept turning off in the middle of the night. Not good if you need to use a CPAP. I spoke to a manager and he conceeded that it’s because of the city’s green initiative. The power outlets turn off after 30 minutes if the ceiling mounted motion detectors do. It detect any movement.
Not ideal.
- David (10/5): - We came for a concert, which was great. It was nice to stay where the venue was and to be a 3 minute walk away. We also enjoyed running into other people who attended before and after the show and had a good time sharing the experience with them.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Being a handicap. Parking in the garage and walking is a hardship
- Mark (10/5): - Fun
- George (6/5): - Spent two nights at the Graton Resort! The property lacks a ‘concierge’ …no one could assist me in gettting a ride to the airport!
The service at the pool was horrible! After waiting for over 30 minis for a drink, I walked up the bar and they said they would send someone over to me…..btw, that NEVER happened! Again, I went up to the bar and ordered drinks but, they were NEVER delivered to me! So …AGAIN I walked up the bar….got a drink and return to my seat! Amazing!!!
- Maylani (6/5): - For the amount you pay - it’s not worth it.
Front staff are not friendly.
- Roxane (10/5): - Excellent
- Norman (10/5): - Best hotel and casino we have been to in awhile
- Jared (10/5): - Good
- Diane (8/5): - Room was nice. Just wished our view wasn’t a rooftop,
- Mark (10/5): - Food was exceptional as was the gami g
- Claudia (10/5): - The security guard was very rude to my husband when he was coming the hotel questioning if he was going to stay at the hotel and his luggage. I found that very disrespectful. The entire staff was great except that one security guards
- Daniel (10/5): - Clean and pleasant atmosphere..!! And the staff was pleasant.. a little shy..!!
- Liya (8/5): - Simple
- dinab983 (6/5): Not worth the price - It was a nice room and the rooms are large, and the decor was gorgeous, but at their price point there should be room service. A complimentary bottle of wine or something extra…valet parking and charging our EV was a plus ….But, there was nothing that stood out about the resort. It was very clean. I would rather go to the Peppermill in Reno. The commercials lured me and I wanted to experience it. But for $700 a night I expected much more. The Asian restaurant Boathouse was good, except the fried oysters had no flavor. Watching the robots bring the food was fun…I do appreciate that we were able to check in early, so that is worthy of at least 1 star. We got there at 11:00 am and check in is 4:00. They had a room ready so we were able to check in at 11:00 am so early. I don’t gamble so I go for the restaurants and the Spa. I didn’t experience their spa, but it didn’t capture me when I went to the front desk to inquire about the hours and treatments. I probably won’t go ever again. The smoke smells were almost intolerable. I know all casinos are filled with smokers but gosh it seemed like everyone was chain smoking. Overall maybe going to the casino and staying up the street in a nice hotel seemed like a better way to go.
- KnickerbockerJones (8/5): A Great Way to Runaway To - The last time I visited Graton it had just opened up. It was just a casino. I must say that I enjoyed every second of it. I live an hour away and still choose to spend a night there. It has come such a long way. I go there because my husband enjoys casino and I love to go to restaurants. The Slots machines is not why I go there, trust me. The food that I had was amazing. There are also plenty of options outside. I love the rooms and I like that I do not have to go to Tahoe nor Vegas for this entertainment. The rooms are huge, with high ceilings, shower and separate bath. They have a spa. I did not try it but I will be adding it to my next trip there. They offer a lot of services that I enjoy.
Yes I highly recommend it. The 4/5 does relate the slots and I must say the atmosphere is wonderful and I could have rated the slots alone the rating would have been 1/5.
- David (4/5): - We stayed for two nights and they didn’t make up our room for the second night. When we finally called housekeeping , they said we had to ask for it. But no one told us about this rediiculous rule for an $800 per night hotel. My last visit.
- MARK (10/5): - Awesome and amazing 👏
- Nicole (10/5): - Everyone was wonderful,
- Andrea (10/5): - hotel grounds are clean, rooms are nice and all the facilities are nice.
- Sean (6/5): - You need to completely retrain your staff, from the people at the various doors to the property who are aggressive and rude, to check in staff who are clueless, to bartenders who are not able to make even the simplest cocktails. You should hire a hospitality consultant to revamp evetyyhing. I paid almost $750 a night for the equivalent of 3 star service. I will call out that the spa was excellent, as was The Boathouse Restaurant.
- Celia (10/5): - I had a great time with my spouse on my birthday!
- Vincent (10/5): 💯% Graton! - Had a Wonderful time at Graton; outstanding food (630park) and Food court was wonderful…Great service ; friendly staff; courteous chivalry …Excellent and experienced bartending 👏👏 Highly recommend for Stay !
- Amy (8/5): - good amenities for a resort
- Richard (10/5): - Very clean casino and hotel. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a fun getaway
- Leslie (10/5): - I would like them to update the food options and maybe have something they can send to your room to eat
- Kevin (10/5): - Looking forward to doing it again.
- Suzanne (10/5): - It’s a beautiful Resort and Spa!!
- Meca1950 (10/5): A Mini Las Vegas experience in Sonoma - If you are in The Bay Area. Visit this Venue.
It has Hotel, SPA, Steak House, Italian restaurant( three kinds of pizza), wood cooked Barbecue, Oriental Food, 45 minutes north of Golden Gate. Three thousand gaming machines. Smoking and non smoking. What can go wrong
- Robert (10/5): - Graton hotel and casino is very nice; however, I a microwave in the hotel room would have been helpful and the movies on demand were too expensive.
- Garry A. (10/5): - Very fancy very clean loved it
- karolyn (10/5): - Valet parking and 630 Park Steakhouse
- Lorenzo (10/5): - My wife had a wonderful Biethday visit to Graton Reaport and casino.
We werw completely satisfied with our stay.
Service was wonderful.
- Zdenek (6/5): - Overall nice place but rooms more expensive than Vegas strip, no room service, bar closes at 1am, no free drink service at the tables.
- Meca1950 (10/5): A Shocking discovery - A shocking discovery.
When going out of a Home Depot and some spare time I noticed that right in the middle of a cattle ranch 30 right across the street there was a modern building and 4 or 5 levels parking lot. Picked by curiosity entered and discovered a huge gaming place with three thousand. Gaming Machines, one very modern and elegant Steakhouse, an oriental food restaurant, one Italian Restaurant offering three types of pizza types( Neapolitan, NYC, California) a nice looking Hotel, with all kind of amenities such as nice, clean well appointed SPA, outdoor swimming pool etc etc. it has become one of our favorite places in Sonoma. Conveniently situated at less than 40 minutes from San Francisco. ( shuttle service to the city every half an hour) in sum. A place to visit if you are in the area.
- lisa (10/5): - The staff is always so nice and accommodating!! The property is very clean and safe!! The restaurants are very good! They also have a wonderful concert series!!
- John (10/5): weekend get away - it was nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): Engagement trip - Had such an amazing experience for our stay at Graton for our engagement trip. The staff was extremely friendly, nice rooms, and the restaurants were great. Highly recommend eating at the Daily Grill, Sergio was awesome!
- Gregory (6/5): Beautiful but not - Beautiful facility but taken back by them taking a 100.00 deposit when you check in. With a 700.00 room and then take a 100.00 deposit is insulting. They are clearly impacted with the state of labor, since service is slow and bartenders not have name liquor and not knowing how to make drinks. Its a casino drinking counts
- James (10/5): - Everything from the room, to the staff, to the restaurants, and the atmosphere of fun was simply perfect. Thank you!
- Arleen (8/5): - Fun! Felt very well cared for. Friendly and super clean place.
- 55rockym (6/5): Day date - This place is easy to find. Our first visit and it
seemed like there was very little help if you wanted information. Smells like smoke except in non-smoking area. Your required to wear masks but people are smoking. They check your temp when you enter. The food in the market place is like mall food.
- Maxime (10/5): Very good accomodation. - Very good accomodation. Clean and spacious.
- NorthStar19918410414 (2/5): Very disappointed - graton casino would not honor my winnings as i had hit a jackpot. How convenient it is for Graton to be able to keep my losses but they also keep my winnings too. Such bad business these guys. It makes me absolutely sick and it will be very hard to forget such a terrible experience. Take your money elsewhere these guys are crooks.
- JETBOYCA (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here - This was an impromptu stay. I was working out of a cabin in Cazadero, and after a power failure, the property lost internet access even after the power came back.
I'd played at Graton a few times, but never stayed there. Just day trips from SF. Since I was working, I decided to try out their hotel for a week rather than returning home.
Nice rooms. Nice pool. Nice staff. Fast internet access in the room (though you may have to scout a bit for good connectivity at the pool). Overall, very pleased.
They're still doing the "not servicing rooms during your stay" thing, which isn't a big deal for a one week stay, but that's getting tired.
Food was also surprisingly good.
- Y9769LTwendys (10/5): Great couple day getaway! - As a Graton Rewards Member, we love coming up here for a close by getaway. We appreciate their COVID policies and enforcement which allow us to feel safe while we're on the casino floor. As far as their mask policy on the floor, it's pretty straight forward (and repeatedly announced overhead). If you're not actively drinking, eating, or smoking, your masks needs to be on.
Based on our playing, we get a 2-night comp stay (plus free play). We love the rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable with very soft sheets. The bathroom has a large soak tub, plus huge shower.
We also love sitting out by the pool. It's a beautiful area and a great place to just chill. There are also plenty of good dining options, from fancy to casual.
On this trip I also visited their spa for a pedi and eyebrow wax. My technician for both was Dao, who I give 5 stars! She's the real deal; she is professional, does meticulous work, and is a kick to chat with. My eyebrows turned out perfectly. My feet are sooo soft! She really took her time. She also did an excellent job on prepping and polishing my toenails. The spa facility is very nice as well. The pedicure stations look out on the pool area.
I look forward to visiting the spa again on our next trip here.
- fabiolam965 (6/5): Weekend gateway - We stay the weekend here, we wanted to do some hiking and gambling. I was very disappointed, no Wifi not even tech support could help me. No room service, so we came back from our long hike to shower with dirty towels.
Room is nice, clean and spacious but definitely not worth $300+ per night
- cosetter64 (2/5): Upset - the lady manager at the hotel that she’s said that she’s the one handle the whole resort not a professional she kick us like animal. They mistake our reservation that we book 2 weeks ago we drove all the way here and we encounter like this no exception at all.
- 599chareel (10/5): Graton Greater Then Expected - Everyone from the cleaning staff to the bar tenders are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large, clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Have visited several times and can't say enough nice things
- Barry (10/5): - Clean quiet great staff easy to navigate through the hotel and casino and restaurants.
- kathrynh992 (4/5): Can't enjoy it because non-smokers are not welcome - Though I'm not a gambler, I did play the slot machines for a few minutes. There was someone there to help me - to get me drinks, ask if I needed anything, etc. Since I rarely gamble, I don't know the etiquette of gambling. After a few minutes, I stopped and went to the Asian restaurant there.
The food was delicious! Unfortunately, as with most gambling establishments, the casino is very smoky. They try to separate the casino itself from the restaurants by using wide walking areas and positioning the dining area a bit away from the door to the restaurant. That really doesn't keep all the smoke from getting into the dining area, though. I am very sensitive to smoke. I have asthma that is triggered by smoke. Although the food was good, due to the smoke, I won't be able to return.
- jonathanhI9811KZ (2/5): Non-smokers have no rights at Graton - Visited Graton Casino yesterday and was playing at the Ultimate Poker table and one person on our table was smoking and everyone else was so disgusted. I asked the pit boss whether we could have this table non-smoking and his answer was NO. I asked why and his answer was, there was a table near by (a different game) which was non-smoking and thus he would not permit our table to be non-smoking.
Later, the smoker left our table and we all requested to have our table to be non-smoking and once again he said NO. I asked him again why and he gave me the same answer. I asked to talk to his manager but never got a chance to talk to him/her.
What kind of public place would not promote clean air and a healthy environment to their customers? Somehow they forgot that they are located IN California and California does not allow indoor cigarette smoking.
To add to this, the dealer was telling us that he really hates the smoke and there was no individual fans on tables to blow away the smoke like many other casinos do.
Hey Graton, we have the right to breathe clean air. You know very well that second hand smoke causes cancer and not to mention many people including myself are allergic to cigarette smoke. AND, you forgot that you are IN California.
Cannot believe you would side with the smokers than promoting a healthy lifestyle!
- 60rene (2/5): Owners of Graton are Greedy - Don’t go there and it’s not worth of your time. Machines don’t pay out well. They will kill your free play if you don’t pay much! When you get free games, they pay a little $$. I suggest to go to different casinos.
- smokefreeplease (2/5): Casino and food court extremely smoky - Casino is extremely smoky and connected to food court. Reminded me of the 70's and going into a restraint and having the table next to you smoking. They did create a small non-smoking room but not sure why they didn't make that the smoking room instead. Since only 15% of the adult US population smokes I just don't understand why the management wants the rest of other 85% to have to breath that crap.
- John (10/5): - Excellent property!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I am very impress with this hotel. The staff and hospitality was on point! Everything about the decor and ambience was amazing and elegant. The beds were also very comfy!! It was like sleeping on clouds
- juliecapito7 (8/5): Great Quick and Close Getaway - Room overlooking pool is best - they are floor to ceiling windows (but guests can see out and others can't see in). Very good customer service. There are several choices for meals. Nice touch is they open the door for you upon exiting hotel, going to casino area. We enjoyed the pool area way too much, although could not visit long enough to enjoy all amenities. It's a nice place to get away. I lost in the casino and it's a bit smoky, but they do designate non-smoking areas (helps a tiny bit).
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing is all I can say. I just really enjoy this place and find it extremely relaxing.
- Julie (10/5): - Impeccable and friendly service!accommodations are beautiful
- Verified traveler (10/5): Freaking Awesome - What a nice hotel with a beautiful pool and bar next to the pool. Casino on the inside, spa and fitness facilities which I don’t ever use when I stay. This is a very nice place to get away and gamble if your into that and I hope they continue to stay on top of there game. Nothing but a positive experience for me.
- stevemE4636UA (6/5): Casino not as smoky as it used to be - We went to Graton casino again after several years. It seemed much bigger, but not better. Lots of slots but not the slots my wife likes to play. I prefer to play cards but on a Sunday there was a 25 dollar limit on Pai Gow and the tables were full.
All in all a ok time not much to complain about but no real reason to go back.
- Rebelliot (8/5): Fun place for a day trip - My girlfriends and I head to Graton for a day of slot play every so often. This trip we decided to stay overnight but staying at Graton's new hotel is way too pricey. They need to offer special deals like the other casinos offer, such as free nights, reduced rates, etc. It's a fun place to "play", lots of good food choices and not too far from the Bay Area. Wish they had a closed off room for Non Smokers, though, because the smell of smoke can be overwhelming.
- travmcgee (10/5): A Great Hotel Experience - I read hotel reviews, and I must say I've never seen such anger as some of these reviews. Obviously a case of people who just have a grudge against the Graton Casino/Hotel? I stayed here with a friend for a week day, had a great experience at the hotel and at the restaurants, delicious reasonably priced dinner and breakfast. Had a west facing room with a big-fat full moon staring back at us and beautiful ground fog in the early morning. I had a great massage at the spa given to me by Lindsay, and used the steam and a shower for the entire day I was there at no extra charge. So...the Graton Hotel is as nice/nicer as any Lake Tahoe hotel without a 3 or 4 hours drive. The only thing I don't like is how ungenerous the slots are!
- 308sandyt (2/5): Poor customer service by management woken up by window cleaners on Saturday morning - We have stayed three times here and had problems with hotel each time.
Dec2017: they cleaned the outside windows starting at 8am on Saturday and when we called to complain we only got "we left you a note in your room" and "close your curtains"
That made us mad so we told them we would be coming downstairs which they took as a threat and met me with two security guards. We asked to be comped and they refused because my husband got mad at them. Also had to call about a loud live music party in suites at 11pm at other end of hallway
Dec 2016 We had a room with a loose seal in the window over the pool and we got all the noise from the pool bar- vacuuming etc. Maintenance came up and said they would add it to their warranty list and told us not to lean against the window
Other: Lobby bar doesn't serve coffee until 10am. If you don't want to wait an hour for room service you have to walk all the way through the smoky casino to get coffee at Starbucks. No in room coffee machines.
4. Steakhouse is great. Excellent management and service
