Guest Reviews
- Martha (2/5): -
- Malcolm (9/5): - The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable. I chose the hotel based on location. It was a bit noisy being so close to the main road
- Gregory (10/5): - Nice value
- Minyoung (7/5): -
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): It was fine -
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Richard (10/5): - Older building but the room was clean.
- Donald (8/5): - Satisfactory room everything needed for a one night stay fir a family event.
- Trevor (6/5): - The room was clean but basic, no bad smells or stains. This is a no frills lodge. No food, no pool, you need money for the ice machine (quarters). The bed was good enough. We slept fine. The window AC worked a little too good. I had it on “low cool” and it froze us but doing just the fan was too warm. Shower had good pressure and got as hot as you wanted. With taxes and such we were $100 for the night. No charge for parking. If you just need a place to sleep, this place fits the bill. There’s a Costco across the street for food/drinks and gas.
- Joan (8/5): Great value for a very basic motel stay. - The location was convenient for where I needed to be and it was clean. The road is very noisy, but the manager was kind enough to put me towards the back and I ran the fan all night.
- Danny (6/5): - My pillows had woman hair on them
- Arlene (10/5): Love my Trip - I enjoyed it hated to leave feel at home there the staff are very nice looking forward to coming back soon
- Arturo Soto, (10/5): - Conveniently located down the street from Downtown Fullerton. Plenty of dining options. Quiet area.
- Kimberly J (8/5): - Man was a little creepy, but that happenes a lot to me but the wife was amazing
- Nicolas (8/5): -
- Jeremy (10/5): - Great place for a night stay!

- Jennifer (8/5): - I thought the man at the front desk was nice and prompt. Check-in was quick and easy. The property is older and small, but well-kept and clean. There is ample parking if you include the back parking behind the building. The room I booked was a queen bed and quite small, but I knew that going into it. The bathroom was also nice and clean - and there was also a full closet, which I was surprised by. The area outside had some seating and plants and was really cute. The only issue we had was that there was a man upstairs who kept walking around outside and staring at us. It was a little creepy. Not sure if he's there often or just there right now. All in all, for a smaller, older hotel, it was very well-kept and very clean. I would stay there again.
- Tim (6/5): - NA
- Santiago (10/5): - Good 10/10
- Danny (6/5): - The room and bed had a bad smell like smoke and decayed food.
- Jonah (10/5): - Nice calm location with lots of places for fastfood.
- Ana (8/5): - My sister-in-law and I were going for two nights to stay there for a trip to Disneyland.
We got two queen beds, mini refrigerator, microwave, and hot water, and a very clean room
The room it’s not fancy, but the beds are very comfortable, and had a great night sleep.
The only con is that there is no coffee pot.
But knowing that in advance, I brought my own small mini coffee pot.
But our check in, and our checkout was perfect.
Just so you know, they ask for a $50 cash deposit, and you get it back when you check out.
Overall, this is my second time staying here, and I will be coming back. I recommend it if you’re just staying for a night or two on traveling or business.
- Anne (8/5): Clean basic room - Veey clean but basic hotel room.. location was anshort drive to Fullerton restaurant and bar social center
- Ana (10/5): - Recomendado
- Rushelle (10/5): - Great as always! Friendly staff. Easy check-in. A lot of food options nearby. I'm sure I'll be back soon.
- Robert (4/5): - There was roaches
- Arlene (10/5): - It was nice
- Ross (8/5): Great for the price. - This is small older hotel that is kept very clean and in a great location. Near downtown Fullerton. Only problem is that you can hear cars and motorcycles on the busy street at times. No Breakfast, no pool, and Ice will cost you .25 for a small bucket. The doughnut shop next door is a plus and Starbucks is a short walk. I like the price as I am always looking for hotels around $100. I have stayed there three times and have had no safety issues. Great friendly service also.
- Rushelle (10/5): - We stay here every month or so when we go to Disneyland. Staff is always friendly. Bed is comfortable and shower has nice water pressure. Costco, Amazon Fresh, and a place with delicious bánh mi are conveniently right across the street.
- James (4/5): - Costco cross street
- jose (6/5): - Need of renew forniture
- Stephen (10/5): - We were not happy with our last place and changed to Fullerton. Much better.
- Camille (4/5): - The bed was old and very uncomfortable. I feel like they tried to make the room nice but it just felt dirty and cheap.
- Chad (10/5): - It was a good, clean place to stay. TV was small and never did connect to wifi, but i was too busy to woory about it.
- Arlene (10/5): - It was very nice I enjoyed my stay as always , hated to leave but, will be back soon ..
- patrickdavidtr2024 (10/5): Fullerton Motor Lodge - There are a lot of bad, negative reviews from the past in 2018, etc. I started staying here on an almost weekly basis from 2022-current. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in a 1-2 mile radius of the Fullerton Motor Lodge. A lot bigger places with free breakfast and room service and swimming pool. Pool? No there is no pool here. However what you do get is a family owned business that cares. The room is always clean, smelling good, with complimentary soaps and shampoos. The TV and the WiFi are always working. This is not a party hotel/motel. The staff take the guests security very serious and monitor the property 24/7. The guests are usually couples, families, vacationers, and business professionals. The staff are very caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you are in town for business/work, Disney or Knotts, or just need to get away, I recommend Fullerton Motor Lodge.
- Arlene (10/5): - It was nice will come again very soon
- Araceli (10/5): - I like it
- James (10/5): - The area is very nice, and the staff are great!!
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Austin (8/5): - Right next to a comic book shop, very clean.
- Francisco (8/5): My stay - It was clean and comfortable. TV was small but good nights rest
- Arlene (10/5): Quad - Really liked it been there before 2 other times
- Cynthia (2/5): - We were on the second floor, but the people right below was loud until 2 am in the morning. Then woke up at 5:30 am to be belligerent again. The cops and fire department were called for the rooms across the way. It was a nightmare. The clerk was super sweet. But I will never stay there again.
- Daniela (10/5): - They were very nice and clean well kept property.
- Ross (10/5): Nice place, great price, great location. - It is an older well maintained hotel with a great rate. Wonderful location with a donut shop next door that has great service and coffee. Walking distance from downtown Fullerton. The donut shop is popular so the earlier you get there the better.
- Marisol (10/5): - Beds were confortable, very clean bathrooms, hotel just needs floors cleaned every day I would come out the shower and walk without shoes my feet would get very black
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Room, Excellent Location - The room was perfect for what I needed, a clean, quiet, well-cared-for place to stay. And the location was excellent: close to the city bus stop and not far from the transportation center. It was also close to a grocery store, many other stores, and restaurants.
- Brian (10/5): - Quiet
- Denise (8/5): - Room was definitely outdated but clean. Right across grocery and lots of other stores and walking distance to downtown Fullerton
- Guadalupe (10/5): - It is quiet clean and very convenient
- Jamison (10/5): - Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Working AC
- Garrett (10/5): - They do have some competition and challenges The staff who work here try to keep it up and looking fresh.
- Rushelle (10/5): - Nice place to stay when going to Disneyland. There are a lot of good places nearby and Costco is right across the street.
Room and bathroom were clean. Great water pressure in shower. Room was spacious. Friendly staff.
- Wayne (10/5): - Nothing special. Just OK for 2 star price
- Jody (8/5): - Its an older motel, but the room was big and the staff was nice. The mattress did need an upgrade
- Jeremy (6/5): - I could have used a couple more sheets. It got a little cold at night.
- Dominic (6/5): - The wood flooring was so dirty I had to throw away two pairs of socks because it tracked so much dirty on them after only a single day of being in here. When I entered the room, there were two dead crickets on the tile floor in the bathroom, and on my second morning three more crickets had somehow found their way into the room.
No bed bugs though and it had solid AC so I guess it was okay. A bit overpriced for how dinky it felt.
- Patrick (10/5): Two Thumbs Up. - It was great for the price that I paid. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. It was surrounded by good restaurants and across the street from Costco. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton. It's a motel, so manage your expectations with that in mind. I had a great overall experience.
- Marilyn (8/5): - Decent value and clean
- Patrick (10/5): - Very clean, convenient, and quiet.
- Patrick (10/5): - Always have a nice time here.
- Olivia (10/5): - We've stayed at this facility many times. We just like the service.
- James (10/5): - The owners are very nice!!!!
- Ann (6/5): - Super friendly staff, seemed clean, but skimpy on bedding, pillows, no coffee maker, have to put quarters in for ice which was across the street, who carries quarters anymore?
- Janet Lyon (10/5): - Very convenient location and very clean room.
- Sandra (10/5): - Good stay
- Daniel (4/5): Itchy mattress - Okay, it is a cheap hotel for LA so I wasn’t expecting high end, but I was in dire need of just a good sleep. Unfortunate I am pretttty sure the bed had some sort of bed bugs in it, I was incredible itchy all night. Very uncomfortable. Maybe they’re in the carpet? Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
- Robert (8/5): - U get what u pay for so don't expect a lot.
- William (10/5): - For the price , we were very happy .
- Louis (10/5): - The hotel was perfect for what we needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank you 😊
- Martin (8/5): - Good
- David (6/5): - It is okay. Close to downtown Fullerton. There was no breakfast, the vending machines were not well supplied and the ice was not free.
- Brenda (10/5): Very nice for one night - We only needed to stay one night so we didn't need anything fancy. Needed a place to sleep and shower and this was just fine. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our quick stay.
- Oliva (8/5): - It was just a get away
- Robert (10/5): Good clean value - Very nice Indian host operates a clean well renovated motel
- Larry (8/5): - I looked for an reasonable priced facility close to an event i was attending. This motel fit my expectations,
- David (8/5): A Nice Place to Stay - The Fullerton Lodge is a perfectly nice place to stay and is conveniently located to many amenities and nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and fairly quiet. Nothing fancy and nothing extra, but a good economical choice in the Anaheim/Fullerton area.
- Isidoro (8/5): - For the price excellent value
- Debra (8/5): - It was close to shopping and decent for the price
- Mario (6/5): Overnight stay - A little traffic noise. Bed not very comfortable. TV really small for the room size. Refrigerator did not work.
- Bette Jo (6/5): - I paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night. The area is very noisy and made it difficult to sleep. Decor is outdated but it was very clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a good stay only problem was the tv didn't work.
- Paul (10/5): - I enjoyed Amazing sleep and Battery Recharge (mental health and Maintenance).
Covid-19 protocols in place.
Thank you.
Thee Counselor 😎
- Miguel (8/5): Roof, bed, toilet for the night was all I needed - Just needed a bed for the night that was close to the morning’s location I needed to be at and was cheap. It’s definitely a motel so if you are looking for more than a bed and a toilet for the night, this will not be satisfactory, but it was perfect for what I needed and I found the beds confortable (but I like extra firm beds).
- Robert (8/5): - Place is very dated. Room was clean but bed was not very comfortable. There were no extra pillows or blankets. Wall sconce did not work. Towels were the roughest I’ve ever used.
- Paul (10/5): Thee Counselor - I used rewards points and it was very clean and quiet,it was free.
- Leroy (6/5): One night in Fullerton - The room was aged but clean .Was furnished with TV, microwave and small fridge. The bed was comfortable . Only issue I had was the noise from the street but overall for the price pleased with my stay.
- Artem (10/5): - I will come back again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The stay was great. Checking in the man was mean but not socialable but check out the lady wad very friendly. The room was nice
- James (8/5): - There's so many things in the area that you can walk to
- Keith (8/5): - Comfortable and clean. Just what I was expecting for an overnight stay. And also centrally located to many restaurants and stores. Will be back.
- Joel (8/5): - Near Costco, restaurants and shopping various sorts minutes away
- John (10/5): - I wa pleasantly surprised how good the room was for the price. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty hot water and pressure.
- Raylene (10/5): - Really clean
- Goldie C (10/5): - It was close to where my class reunion was
- William (6/5): - Simple, regular hotel/motel.
