• Leire (10/5): - Una experiencia de 10. Tuvimos una estancia de 3 noches en Villa Paradise y todo fue perfecto. La habitación era una maravilla, grande, moderna, con buenos acabados y una cama muy cómoda. El personal muy agradable y dispuesto a ayudar siempre. El desayuno se sirve en el bar que tienen en la playa lo cual nos encantó, primera linea de playa y vistas insuperables.

• Imbulana (8/5): - The location and staff were excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, making the stay very pleasant. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, which we appreciated. The nearby beach offered a wonderful sea experience, allowing us to fully enjoy the coastal setting. I booked two Superior Double Rooms with “Sea View” for my family and a friend’s family. On arrival, I was initially given a smaller, lower-category room that was less spacious than the one I had booked. Only after I raised the issue did the proprietor quietly change it to the correct room, but without any explanation or apology. More importantly, none of the rooms actually had a sea view, despite being advertised as “sea view rooms” on the platform. The main reason I chose this property was specifically for the sea view, so this was quite disappointing and felt misleading. Although the staff was generally friendly and supportive, the professional attire of staff could be improved, and providing a simple uniform would help maintain a more standard atmosphere for a property with such a high rating. A separate concern was that in the morning, I observed an older staff member having tea in the guest area without wearing a top. Such behavior is inappropriate in a hospitality setting and does not reflect the standards expected of a highly rated property.

Hned při check in welcome drink, ubytování ve skvělé lokalitě, kolem spousta zábavy, velmi přátelský personál, pokoje extra čisté a velké a vkusně zařízené a na závěr dárek od pana managera. Toto ubytování mohu maximálně doporučit v Hicce, bravo 👏 I was surprised during my trip to Sri Lanka with this accommodation, welcome drink right at check in, accommodation in a great location, lots of entertainment around, very friendly staff, rooms extra clean and spacious and very nice decorated, at the end of my stay I was given by a gift from the manager. I can highly recommend this accommodation in Hikka, bravo guys 👏 see you again Nemám co vytknout. Everything was great.

Дружелюбный и полезный персонал. Также при отеле есть кафе с лежаками на пляже. Расположение между популярным пляжем с черепахами и лучшим пляжем городка - Наригама. Понравилось все. Большое спасибо!

• Sharon (9/5): We stayed in the property for 2 nights but sadly it rained the whole time we were there however it was still enjoyable. - Located on the beach. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable 4 poster bed. Lovely touch. The only issue was that you were overlooked by the apartments across the way a little too much so we could not open our curtains. However it was a last minute booking so had to make do with the only availability they had.

Уборка номера по требованию, полотенца меняйте хоть каждый день , по мере загрязнения. В номере есть сейф , чайный уголок , вода 1 литр в день бесплатно. На пляже выдают полотенца. Вкусная кухня, обедали только там . Оплата наличными или картой + 3 %. Рядом супермаркет, алкомаркет и прочие заведения с разным меню , на ваш вкус . Нет такого

• Nina (9/5): Hotellet, personalen, maten och känslan överträffade alla våra förväntningar! Vi kommer tillbaka! - Bilderna på webben gör inte stället rättvisa - i verkligheten är det SÅ FINT! Ett litet familjehotell som känns helt nyrenoverat. Lyxiga rum i kolonialstil med sköna sängar och massa olika kuddar. A/C låter såklart en del men gav skön svalka. Och sviten var FANTASTISK!! Servicen exceptionell på alla sätt och maten superb! När vi bad om att få testa srilankesisk frukost istället för den "vanliga" engelska frukosten (enorm tallrik med färsk frukt av olika sorter, kaffe/the, smoothie, yoghurt, ägg i form av kokt, stekt, scrambled eller omelett samt korv) så dukade de upp en helt enorm upplevelse som vi ALDRIG kommer glömma, helt galet gott och portioner som hade räckt för hela dagen. Personalen urtrevlig varenda dag, allihop, och gjorde allt de kunde för att optimera vår upplevelse, inte bara på hotellet utan även med tips och råd, hjälp att organisera utflykter och allt möjligt. Fräscht och snyggt och en härlig stämning. Här kan man inte vara annat än nöjd!! Visst hade en pool varit trevligt att hoppa i när man bara vill flyta runt utan att ha koll på vågor, men med fem meter till havet var det inga problem att hålla sig lagom varm iallafall :-) . Som svensk med en uppfostran att äta upp allt på tallriken blev det lite jobbigt med alla jätteportioner mat - men det är ju verkligen ett i-landsproblem. Är man en storätare är detta ett drömställe, då kanske du får plats med en efterrätt också! Som förbättringspotential är det baren som kan lyftas lite - att servera vita vinet riktigt kallt, servera ölflaskorna i neoprenskydd så den håller sig kall längre och jobba på att få till drinkarna, här finns förbättringspotential. Kanske engelskan hos serveringspersonalen skulle kunna trimmas lite, men samtidigt är det rätt charmigt att inte riktigt veta vad som kommer hända härnäst... bra blir det iallafall, på Villa Paradise!

• Thomas (9/5): Fantastischer Aufenthalt mit unvergesslichen Erlebnissen. Ich komme wieder - Die Lage direkt am Strand ist super. Die Zimmer sind, abgesehen von Kleinigkeiten sauber. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Der Chef des Hauses ist vermutlich der am besten vernetzte Mann der Gegend. Er kann nahezu alles organisieren und tut dies auch mit sehr viel Freude. Wer nicht nur zum hinfährt, sollte sich unbedingt mit Ausflügen an ihn wenden. The location right on the beach is great. Apart from a few minor details, the rooms are clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. The manager is probably the best-connected man in the area. He can organise almost anything and does so with great enthusiasm. Many thanks once more. Kleine Dinge wurden versucht umgehend zu beheben. Also nicht der Rede wert.
• Genevieve (9/5): Great spot! - Villa Paradise was a great place to stay in Hikkaduwa! It was in an excellent location with everything close by on the Main Street. Backs right onto the beach and has a wonderful deck for sunset viewing! The hotel provides sun loungers as well. The restaurant has a great range of food and was tasty. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nice & big. Mattress was quite hard for us but personal preference

• Prior (8/5): - Traumhafte Lage mit eigenem Strandbereich und Sonnenliegen, bester Welcome-Drink, freundlicher Gastgeber + Personal, Frühstück international und gut portioniert, Indika hat uns auch als wir in einem anderen Hotel waren eingeladen die Strandliegen zu benutzen. Flecken auf dem Bett, aber in sri lanka wird generell vermutlich nur kalt gewaschen. Wenn man duscht steht man vor dem waschbecken und im anschluss ist das gesamte bad nass.

The sea is beautiful and beach is very clean. The owner was super hands on and friendly, so was the staff. Substantial breakfast and easy access into town or for a walk down the long beach which is beautiful. The atmosphere is lively and lots of people around so very sociable. easy access for surfing lessons and lots of people tried it. Very close to other shops, bars and restaurants too. The property next door unfortunately is in disrepair which was a shame but that has nothing to do with the accommodation we stayed in.

• Raphaela (10/5): Most welcoming property I have stayed at in Sri Lanka - Villa Paradise is situated in a Perfect location right in front of the surf and close to town and eateries. High attention to detail and super clean accommodation. The owner was quick to respond to any issues/concerns via booking.com But what made my stay memorable was the team at Villa Paradise . Big thanks to Sunil, Jahny and team for looking after me and becoming my Sri Lankan family for my last 6 days in Sri Lanka. They deserve a pay rise as they went above and beyond. I’m going to miss them dearly. Thank you everyone My first room had a bad moldy smell but after bringing it to the owners attention they upgraded me to a bigger/better room for free. Thank you! To eat at the restaurant is quite pricy compared to other beach front restaurants which is a shame because I would have loved to eat there

Located in the nice part of Hikkaduwa, a lot of cafes and shops right outside of the property. Nice owner who helps guests and overseas property personally. Some of the staff struggle with English. Rough see with underwater current in front of the property. Be careful when you swim there.

• László (10/5): A real Paradise. - We felt like we were in paradise! :) The BAR is at the end of the garden, we had breakfast every day while the Indian Ocean washed our feet. All our requests were fulfilled immediately. It's good to know that room cleaning, water supply, and new towels are done on request, but willingly and promptly :) They provided useful information about the services available in the area. The road in front of the hotel is busy. There are many TUK TUKs and old buses that cause smog. Inside we didn't realize anything about this, so it's OK.

We arrived in middle of the evening with 2 sleepy kids, they were waiting for us, pushed our bags to the room, in 4min we were all in bed sleeping. Nothing that I would consider unexpected. This is not a 5 star luxury resort, so don't expect facilities like that, but in terms of atitute and attention to guest it was like luxury hotel.

Availability of sunbeds and dining tables on the beach. The offered room (junior suite) mentions sea views but doesn't have one. Only from the bathroom via the heigh window and very small side partial sea view from the balcony. Extra 10% credit costs charged on top of the 10% already service costs included via booking.

We would definitely like to come back and stay again. There was nothing we didn't like, every was perfect.

Airport transfers were handled perfectly, and staff are really nice guys, and were extremely accomodating with any requests I had. Rooms were large, clean, comfortable and very quiet at night. The hotel bar/dining area is right on the sea, with lovely views morning and night. I totally recommend this hotel for your stay! Thanks again Indika! Wifi is a little patchy, but that is only a slight issue!

• 9866666 (7/5): It's a good place near beach. - The personel is very kind. Wifi was working well in the room. There is straight way to the beach with a shower outside - after swimming in the ocean. There are available sunbeds with umbrellas and house roofs for guests free of charge. The wifi doesn't work near the restaurant. Once we asked for a towel change - but didn't got them. There should be some standing clothes dryer in the room, paper rolls and towel changes. We didn't like that they are adding +10% tax and +3% for card payment - so in total something like +15% of the price in in the menu.

• Chloe (6/5): Disappointing stat… - The property was on the beach and room was very clean The description was of a sea view, there wasn’t! No pool so very expensive for what it was. Can get much better for much less.
• Timo (9/5): Superb - Beach was nice and comfortable, breakfast was enough for us (in Menu Paradise breakfast). Room was clean and enough space (Junior Suite). Restaurant menu selection was great with different choices. Hotel manager and staff was very friendly and assisted me with all my requests. Hotel location was close to shops and other services. Bed was a little bit "hard" for me.

• Minyin (10/5): Wonderful - Wonderful located. In front of the beach. Rooms are beautiful. Well decorated and very clean! The owner is super friendly. The only thing is Hikkaduwa is a party place in Sri Lanka, lucky we went off season so we were literally almost alone every night.

• Nadine (10/5): Perfect - Very good, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun and definitely come back to stay here on our trip.
• Matt (10/5): A perfect finish after an amazing month in Sri Lanka - Hikkaduwa in the low season is quiet and can feel quite closed up. The Villa Paradise is the perfect base however and lives up to the high reviews it gets for amazing value, incredible food and breakfasts but above all super friendly staff! We finished our month long visit here and as a family felt very looked after by Inaki and his team.

• Yohan (5/5): There were other luxuty hotels nearby with pools etc that may have been a better option. - Great location on the beach. The size of the Suite and the friendly staff. Great WiFi. Not a place to visit in off season. The sheets and pillowcases needed proper laundering as they smelled soiled, a definite no no. The bathroom needed grout removed from around the sink and the taps needed replacing as they were old and this would have improved the comfort. The bedroom windows and TV stand were covered in dust and had not been cleaned in months and the fly screen was torn. A 24" TV for a large room with only 3 News channels and despite repeated requests, the cricket channel was not subscribed which was needed due to bad weather. Fridge needs updating badly. Excessive pricing for off season, no other guests and therefore limited services and no atmosphere. Could have made an effort to compensate in some way but only added a 3% charge to the cc payt.
