FrasierC (6/5): Look Elsewhere. - This hotel is like stepping into the year 1993. The rooms are in drastic need of renovation. The tv system is all right (DirecTV from 20 years ago). The bathroom is also workable, just completely outdated and not well maintained. The heating/air system was loud, old and the thermostat thought it was 80 degrees when it was only around 68, which means the heat can’t come on long enough to heat the room very well. In the restaurant, you can’t charge to your room, which may be intentional rather than just the result of old systems. Dishonest college students may be the reason. The staff is friendly. The lobby looks nice, but the hotel is way behind in nearly every way.
clarksdale (8/5): A tired, uninspiring hotel, but good value - Monumental hotel on the campus. Reception staff were brisk and efficient. The lobby is big, but lacks any warmth or character. The rugs are so worn and old, they should have been replaced years ago. The suite we had was comfortable, quiet, but dated. Like the rest of the hotel, it was tired and needing an upgrade. The lighting was appalling ; if you like to read bring a torch. We were there on a Tuesday night and the bar was closed. There are better options in Oxford, although it is good value for money

Candace (10/5): Great Place to Stay right on Campus - One of our granddaughters was recently accepted to Ole Miss and we wanted to see what the campus was like. (We live in South Carolina). We really enjoyed the beautiful campus and the clean cut students. The Ole Miss Inn was perfect since it was right on campus and we enjoyed the shuttle service.

Tyler (8/5): - The only negative i have to say is that our key cards didn’t work. i had to go get new ones and then one of the new ones didn’t work either. so that was annoying. but other than that it was great. right on campus, with a restaurant and a shuttle that goes downtown too.

Verified traveler (4/5): Great location, not a great room. - Hotel is located in a great location, right on campus. Our room was very small and had only 1 towel which was damp and hanging on the back of th bathroom door (probably from the previous guest). TV was not working and one of the beds had an awful mattress that you could feel each spring on your back. Our room was in the original part of the building (3rd floor) so maybe the rooms in the tower are nicer/cleaner.

There were several hooks on the wall without any sort of art attached. The carpet was damp and stained, and my sheets had a stale smell to them. They need a major renovation!!!
Kelli (10/5): - The lobby, restaurant and location of this hotel cannot be beat. EXTREMELY convenient, and can only imagine it's amazing during Ole Miss sporting events! Our room was modest - a bit dated but fine for our taste. The room's move-in condition was clean (we don't do daily maid service), however the walls are fairly thin. I could hear our neighbors (and am sure they could hear us, since we talk at a fairly high volume normally!). This didn't bother us but if you are sensitive to that, ask the front desk if there is a quieter option.
JAMIE (10/5): Great location, superior staff. - I’ve been staying here for 57 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. One of a kind staff. It’s on campus and walking distance to the Square; if you don’t want to walk, they’ll shuttle you. I’ve had them drive me to pick up takeout and back to avoid having to find parking. Highly recommend! Thank you, Inn at Ole Miss. You never disappoint.

I was in 340 and the shower directions were backwards - the hot water was where it says “C.” Finally, I gave up on the elevator showing the morning of June 21 and bumped my luggage down the stairs. I’m 80 and did not appreciate this physical challenge.

Brenda (8/5): - We stayed in the “on campus” hotels at 4 SEC schools this week, and this hotel’s amenities were at the bottom of the list. Despite the amazing location, the bathrooms are dated and the flimsy “shower curtain” wasn’t enough to keep water off the floor. The in-room coffee-maker could use an upgrade also. The staff were wonderful though, and the shuttle to the square is great.
Robert (4/5): Management needs attention. - Room was not up to normal standards. Stayed there several times and this time was unlike our other “quality” stays. There were people working in offices on our floor, the room was extremely dusty, air conditioning was sub-par.

Richard (6/5): - The exterior is not very impressive but serviceable. The lobby was nice, and getting off the levator, the hallway to my rrom was nice. I was encouraged. Until I opened the door to the room. It was very basic and old with no character related to the University or southern style. One piece of furniture had a chinese motif. The bathroom vanity was cultured marble and was very low. Perfect for a child, but bot for an adult. The tile floor was just old and had dirt accumulation in the grout with what looked lke rust on the floor behind the bathroom door. I was surprised the hotel was in this condition and is the face of the University for guests. I didn't eat or even walk into the restaraunt, so I can't comment on that.

Helpful and accommodating at every turn. Rooms are a bit outdated but manageable and comfortable for what we needed. Location was perfect for our Ole Miss visit.

Michael (10/5): - It was really convenient to where I had a meeting, and being on campus was a nice touch. Everything was impeccably clean. My only very minor complaint was that there wasn't any vanity space in the bathroom - I had to put my shaving kit on the edge of the tub. A simple wall-mounted shelf would do.

The second night we booked due to storming in the area, and stayed in a king standard room and it was very dated and the furniture definitely needs attention. The bathroom was not clean as there was hair in the tub/showerand on the floor still. We did not report as it was getting late when we got in. The staff was attentive and cautious with tornadoes in the area.
