Guest Reviews
- Freddy (2/5): - They didn't even let me get the room because they didn't have internet and cable so i simply didn't stay on the hotel
- Janet (4/5): - I liked a room was available. Staff however treated me as an inconvenience! 1st room reaked of smoke. I am handicapped and she expected me to walk, with suitcase, etc., to the front desk for new room key. Waited in lobby good 15 minutes as she said she didnt have her phone. She stormed down the stairs which is dangerous for her and others. I felt extremely unwelcomed and for a hotel that phad not more than 4-5 rooms occupied, there may be a definite reason.
- Tom (2/5): - Old and run down, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby when you check in. Needs to be closed down. Guy checking you in is nice, beds were surprisingly comfortable.
- Sarah (10/5): - Staff were super friendly, and the room was very clean and spacious. Shower was huge!
- Xiao Jian (10/5): - Easy check in
- james (10/5): No curb appeal but functional place. - Dated place. Clean and functional.
- ling (10/5): - The property is old but a huge room .
- Molly (4/5): - Keep driving, find another place.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay here - They didn’t have my guaranteed (according to hotels.com) I paid more than the rate I was shown on my reservation! to use the hot water in the sink u had to turn on the hot water in the shower ! The outside looked like it was falling apart! The only good thing about the place was the gentleman at the desk he was very friendly
- KEVIN B (8/5): Good old school motel. - Very friendly management. Comfortable room.
- Dolores (10/5): - We were late checking in but he stayed and was so nice. Room was great kids were happy to have there own beds. Very peaceful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - NA
- Elizabeth (4/5): Dissatisfied - Very dirty. Very outdated, couldn’t even see out the windows. Bathroom floor was so sticky and dirty. Coffee pot area was covered in a thick dust. Room smelled like a yucky cleaner. No blankets on bed. Only sheets and a light bedspread..
- Teri (6/5): - It was fine. I was a little disappointed with no Internet. It was so spotty we never could sign in or stay signed in. The shower didn't drain until way after I got out of it after taking a 10 minute shower. The water and soap/shampoo filled up around my feet, so I ended up washing them from the sink so all was clean. But other than that, all was ok.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The beds were very uncomfortable and the towels are dingy, the blankets were dirty and old. We took our service dogs with us and there is no place for them close to use the bathroom..
- Richard (10/5): - Nice check in and confortable room. Tom was a great desk manager.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The man who checked us in was friendly and accommodating. I wasn’t expecting much. I booked through Orbitz and knew the price was less than $50. It was one of two motels to stay in Connell which is close to the Coyote Ridge Correctional Facilities. We visited someone there. The bed was hard. This motel had better reviews than the other one. There was plenty off coffee in our room. The attendant did ask us if everything was okay. We did not complain. The motel served it’s purpose. It’s just outdated.
- Katherine (2/5): - This place is gross. I would not stay here again for any reason. Heed the advise from this review and the others like it--do not stay here. There were bugs in the room, hair in the shower, stains on the sheets, one pillow per person, and the
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This place is a dump. Smelled weird. Everything was old and falling apart. The bed was awful - I'd have gotten better sleep on the floor. I booked a king size bed and Iand only got a queen with two of the worst excuses for a pillow ever. The only good thing about this place is they allow pets.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Was kept awake off and on from 12 pm until about 4:30 am by the guy in the room next door, loudly speaking a different language. Finally called front desk at 2 am to let them know, the guy said he would go talk to the guy right away.. disturbance never stopped not sure if he even ever went to talk to the guy. Wore flip flops in the shower due to the look of shower. Wouldn’t recommend.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Needs a remodel of the remodel - Room was not very clean, sink had hair on it, flies in room, smelled of stale smoke. The tv with dish worked as did the air conditioner. Apparently the remodel is going on indefinitely based on the signs and older reviews I read from last year.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean. The staff I encountered were very courteous. Only issue I had was that the wifi was not working for me but i feel like that was more of an issue with the area itself. Just not a good signal anywhere. No complaints from me! I had a great stay.
- SK (8/5): - I really enjoyed my stay, and with only 2 motel options in the area, this is definitely the better one! The room and bathroom were large, the AC worked great and the cable/fridge/microwave/coffee maker fit my needs extremely well. There was some noise from the people next door because they were yelling at the World Cup game on TV at 730a, but the friendliness of the staff and the sheer convenience of the location made up for it! I also have a 120 lb dog that travels with me, and he was welcomed without question, or any extra charges as it is a very pet friendly property. There's not much in Connell, but this motel is a good go-to if you are looking to visit small town Eastern Washington.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I called to let them know we were coming in late due to driving 4 hours after work. We had a 2 year old & a 6 year old with us. when we got there no one answered the bell I tried to call, we could hear the phone ring but, no one answered that either. We had to go find another hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room 37 needs a new mattress. It had a BIG dip on the right side!
- Visitor (4/5): - My car was broken into and were not able to get clean towels during our three night stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We weren't expecting anything fancy since we were only staying a night, basically a place to crash in our trip. But this property can seriously use some improvements.
My biggest complaint is the cleanliness. Our pillow cases have dark stains on them, the bathroom shower floor have left over hair from previous guests and also what appears to be "nostril debris".
Also as an annoyance, there are no hair dryers, I asked reception and they don't have any on hand either. So my wife ended up not washing her hair because it would take hours for them to dry naturally.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The hotel is very old, not very clean, wi-fi doesn't work but the service is very good. If I need to go there again, I won't go there.
- leilani (10/5): - the staff are amazing. the looks are not so grear but upon further review the place is clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I paid to stay here when i showed up i couldnt belive this was even available as a hotel online. Complete dive. Looks like homeless people live there. Needless to say i left and of course they took my $55... I support small towns and trywith small owners but someone needs to burn it shut it down and redo it!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The pictures were very misleading of the overall state of the building which was old and seedy. The area around the motel left us wondering if it would be safe to leave anything in our car. We took one look at the room and decided not to stay there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Upon arrival this place does not look like much. There is construction going on do to room upgrades. However the lady in the office darci, is amazing. We had a late check in, she had the heater on for us, an extra blanket on the bed, a hot plate I asked for all ready for us. She always goes out of her way to accommodate you. The price is reasonable. It's the only place we stay at now. It's quite and peaceful with comfortable rooms and beds.
- Kristina (10/5): - For the price a better hotel than I have paid far more for. Great service, quiet, friendly. Will stay there again.
- Ralph (10/5): - Room comfort was excellent. Spacious room and large shower.
- Bud (6/5): - Hotel room was not prepared for our arrival. Beds not made, powder still needed vacuuming and cleaning supplies were still in room. We left to attend football game and when we returned, all was finished and room was good to go. The Inn is in the middle of remodeling.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Effective - Location was perfect for what I needed. They had to vacum room before I could enter the room. Lid on toilet was off and one time I had to fix the flush hook. They have dish TV which was great and Wi-fi did not require password. Towels were like my home towels. Shower was big and roomy but shower head was hand held format. Windows need safety upgrading. Great not to hear traffic.
- Mark (6/5): Work - Better that the other choise.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Gave us the wrong room. We needed two beds and got one
- Dallas (4/5): Basic motel without attention to detail - First, I booked a King non smoking but got a queen that had been smoked in, that got changed. The motel is under construction and I expected some dust. I did not expect the lack of general cleanliness - bathroom floor had hair and dirt, shower had used shampoo packet and soap bar, shower floor not clean, ring around the waterline in the toilet, grimy surface on fridge, left over coffee in coffee maker, greasy head/hair spot on headboard. The sheets were thin but clean, the dark hand towels had bleach stains. I had a different perception for the motel name.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Not great to look at from outside but the room was clean and the price was right.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Comfortable bed.
- Heather (2/5): Worst stay ever - It was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The carpets had huge stains. The sheets were gross with stains also. The towels were dirty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We were cleaning a local estate. Just needed a good night of rest. Bed was welcome and clean. Not enough towels. No bathroom wastebasket.
- J (4/5): - We stayed at this hotel on our way to silverwood , room was dirty, for towels for a shower, no bar soap. No toilet paper holder or trash can. The shower head would not stay on the wall. The carpet was filthy as well as the bathroom. I get it was only $75 a night hotel but we thought we least get the basics .We won’t be back.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Clean but old and worn.
- Heather (10/5): Great location - Much better of a room then the last one. But they need new bedding
- Leilani (10/5): - The employees are very nice people. We got there early and they let us use a room until ours was ready. They took a stain out of my white shirt. Please do not let the out side appearance scare you because the inside is very nice, roomy and has a great big bathroom and shower
- Leilani (10/5): - Check in is not until 3 but I had an appointment to be at but by 12 . The front desk lady let me use the room to change in and get ready even though it was not ready yet. I went to my apt came back and she put me in another room that was done and ready. She also washed my white shirt and
Removed a stain I had gotten on it. The room was clean, comfortable, the bathroom is huge and the water pressure was great.
- Savannah (4/5): Overpriced and unfriendly staff - $70 for a room with dirty towels, and an unfriendly staff was very disappointing.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not what they promote or advertise - the photos they use are not of the rooms you rent, which are shabby, old, rundown, dirty, worn out and downright disgusting.
Their name is a total un-truth, as this is not an "Inn" nor are there any "Suites" anywhere.
It is simply and only a very old, rundown, dirty little motel that looks like it was built 40 or 50 years ago, and has had no major upgrades since then.
