• Elena (10/5): B&B Cairoli davvero carino - Esperienza ottima, mi son trovata benissimo, camera carinissima, pulizia impeccabile, i gestori molto carini, cordiali,cortesi educatissimi,privacy da 10& lode buono per la colazione nel bar sotto perfetto,ma la struttura era cmq dotata della macchina da caffè,con relative cialde e tutto l'occorrente per farsi un buon caffè ,in camera era presente un mini frigo dove trovavo l' acqua che i gestori rimettevamo tutte le volte che finiva. L’accoglienza è stata con la Rosa e professionale con host sempre disponibile attenti ad ogni dettaglio. La camera era pulitissima, confortevole ben arredata con un letto molto comodo che ha reso il soggiorno è ancora più piacevole la posizione ideale per visitare le zone comoda ben collegata.

• Christoph (9/5): Toplage in Messina plus Balkon. - Das Appartement liegt direkt im Herzen von Messina und entsprechend sehr belebt, wobei es nicht laut war. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist der Balkon, zudem ist das Personal überaus freundlich. Hier gab es nichts zu kritisieren: für den Preis passt das total.

So che non sono tenuti a farlo ma sarebbe stato apprezzato. Ascensore non utilizzabile. Cattivo odore dalle tubature.

Il palazzo un pó vecchiotto, ma ben tenuto, la pulizia all’interno del B&B buona, peccato per i balconi (soprattutto per quelli che affacciano all’interno) che con tutti i piccioni che “soggiornano” sul tetto del palazzo, lasciano dei ricordi i poco piacevoli da vedere…

Problem with check in was that I was expected to do it remotely, sending a copy of my passport by WhatsApp, which I declined to do. The person I had been speaking to then contacted his boss who then came round, checked me in properly and was friendly and helpful.

Aspetti negativi: stanza piccola, bagno piccolissimo, ruggine nel box-doccia, rubinetto del lavandino da azionare con due mani perché è quasi divelto, puzza in bagno, colazione ridicola in un bar convenzionato (cornetto freddo e caffelatte in un bicchiere piccolo).

Problème de tuyauterie et évacuation d'eau. "petit déjeuner" au café voisin consistant en un café et un croissant loin d'être du jour. Dommage car la chambre est confortable

Very good location, also very close to Messina Central Station / Coach Station, and walking distance to old town area. Check in was fine, rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very basic though, and includes only coffee and a croissant - so that could be improved. Overall, recommended for budget travel.

Una stanza con bagno non allacciato alla fognatura con wc sanitrit che durante la notte si ricarica ed emana odori di fogna nella stanza non penso sia il massimo... Pagamento della tassa di soggiorno di ben 3 euro a notte mentre ho poi scoperto nel viaggio antecedente che era di 2 euro per quanto riguarda i tre stelle mi lascia un po interdetto tutto qui

Francesca is brilliant and good at welcoming guests - she even brought a friend who spoke English so we didn't miss out on any information. Prompt when she said she would meet us to let us in to the room. There were even snacks & drinks for our stay - so welcomed and not expected There was a guide book in English for the whole of Sicily and I used it as my 'bible' for planning the rest of the Sicily trip. It is a pity that other guests have abused this gift and tore pages out of the book. Bad manners on their part. I would definitely come back to stay. Can I score it 6/5 ?
• piana06 (10/5): Perfect location and very patient - We spent one night in Messina on our way to Stromboli, with our 2 kids. The room was just perfect, and kitchen very clean and convenient. The host has been very nice and patient with us. I highly recommend for a stopover in Messina.
• Decamoto (10/5): Excellent - 1 night stopover in Messina and we were very satisfied with our accommodation. Room was spacious, very clean and shower was excellent. Accommodation is a 5 min walk to the train station so also very central. We would stay here again if in Messina

Coming by car we managed to find parking closeby but required assistance to locate exact entrance. The owner had arranged secure parking nearby E10.. per 24 hours best option. Close to transport and easy walk to astronomical clock using map provided by our host. Breakfast was provided at the Cairoli Cafe Bar downstairs which was great. We would recommend this establishment but also note it is on the first floor, which could present a difficulty for some.

• rgrant182 (10/5): Beautiful room and lovely host. - Great room, lovely bathroom, comfy bed and water bottles provided in the kitchen along with tea and coffee facilities. Wasn't able to find the place on arrival but the owner came and found me to show me where to go. Short walk from the train and bus station (5-10minutes) an easy walk to the square near the astronomical clock. Positioned very close to lots of shops and cafes. Only thing was no map available and would have liked to know that to take a trip on a boat to the islands you must go to Milazzo first. Would highly recommend this place.
