Guest Reviews
- Adrian (10/5): - Very friendly staff like always, always clean rooms
- Steve (7/5): The room was clean and larger than average for this class of facility. I give it a thumbs up. - This facility is on a busy highway with round-the-clock heavy truck traffic. I recommend you request a room on the back side of the building.

- Robert (10/5): Excellent service and stay! -
- Matthew (10/5): Great value hotel - This is a great budget hotel which greatly exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet so I had a good night's sleep. The staff were really friendly and I would definitely return. The only slight negative was the wifi internet connection was not stable enough to use video conferencing apps like Zoom and Teams, but it was OK for sending and receiving messages.
- Ashley (10/5): Perfect - Great room n clean Liked it all
- Jason (10/5): I’ll be staying here again. - Great location, coffee, tv, clean linens Nothing, staff was friendly and showed me exactly where I could park my boat.
- Troy (9/5): - Clean cool and friendly. That they don’t allow pets
- Michael (6/5): -
- Castillo (9/5): great value -

- Gilbert (5/5): Decent clean place to stay. - This is an older property that has been refurbished. Rooms are large - bed was comfortable - coffee maker in room did not work. Goliad is a small town and you don;t have many options. Wouldn't spend a week there, but for the price, one night was good.
- Shatanya (10/5): - Very decent and clean for a smaller end hotel Even though it had smell of either old building or water they have done a good job of doing some upgrades to a old property. Will use again
- hunter (7/5): A place to lay your head while taking in the scenic/historic Goliad area - Older hotel that was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Owner/operator was pleasant to converse with. I will stay again. Coffee maker did not work and room did not get real dark at night.

- Daniel (10/5): - Quick one night stay for fishing tournament. The place met my needs and staff was very friendly.
- Charlotte (10/5): Clean, safe & comfortable. - My husband & I have been staying at the Antler Inn many times a year for over a decade. The management is so very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, the a/c is always cold, the water is always hot, the cable is always working, and the beds are super comfy. I highly recommend this motel.
- JM (8/5): - Staff was friendly and room provided a place to sleep while we were visiting friends.
- Lara (10/5): - If you are going to Goliad, you cannot expect any luxury hotels. This is a very small town, but it is rich in history. The Antlers Inn was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows and bedding were very soft. The staff were nice and efficient and the pricing cannot be beat. We would definitely stay again.
- Richard (8/5): - IIt was very good. The room was clean and didn't have any odors. Everything was orderly and overall, in good condition. The bed was very comfortable. The price was very reasonable.
- Patricia (6/5): - The place was fine but it does need to be updated. It smelled old and like it needed to be aired out.
- Luz (10/5): Safe and relaxing 😌 - Easy access from the freeway when you travel..
Plus Goliath is a very charming friendly small town to stay and we feel safe 😊 ..
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sonja (10/5): 5 Stars - The room was clean and quiet. Not much of a breakfast, so we went to RK Bar B Que and it was amazing!
- Mgar09 (7/5): Short distance from Goliad center and museums - Value and location Then room had a weird smell and the bathroom had rust in the shower also needs improvement such as breakfast.
- Ada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (8/5): - The owners are always nice and helpful. Decent place to stay for the area and I have never had a problem.
- Frank (10/5): - Room was clean. Bed Comfortable. Easy checkin.
- Terri (8/5): - Close to town, clean, breakfast buffet so-so, and reasonably priced.
Only complaint, bathroom fan did not work.
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant - The location was in town near family. Easy to get up and go to head back home. The chairs that were included with the little table were not clean. They need to be cleaned (steamed clean) you could see stains on them.
- Travis (10/5): - It was a perfect fit for me on my work trip as I was passing through the area. The room was clean and well maintained.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (8/5): Nice small town Inn. I will stay again. - The room was much nicer than I expected. The location in towards the edge of town. Town is small so that was not a bad thing. :) There was NO breakfast. The office was closed at 6:30am when I left. No where to leave the key.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Zona (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, clean room. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV

- Melissa (10/5): - Nice, quaint place to stay in Goliad at a reasonable price. Very clean room with extremely comfortable bed! Staff was pleasant and friendly.
- Brian (9/5): Even though the internet was down I was allowed to check in early and I appreciated that. - Good value and plenty of parking
- Melissa (8/5): Very good -
- Alethia (10/5): - Very quaint and quiet stay
- Christie (1/5): The personnel are deplorable. - The beds were comfortable and clean. The female staff member was not friendly AT ALL upon arrival/check in. Later I went back to front desk to get WiFi, she was again not only unfriendly and incredibly difficult to understand. When I asked kindly for to repeat something (because of the window as well as her thick accent) she was ugly and just walked off rudely without saying anything when I thanked her. Even worse - I woke up in the middle of the night having very significant and frightening chest pains, we walked to the front desk to see if they had a First Aid Kit because I needed an aspirin, which i would have been more than happy to pay for. All businesses should have a FAK. The man that came out was extremely rude and threw his hand/arm up at me brushing me off. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone BASED SOLEY ON THE SERVICE.
- Braden (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larry (9/5): Superb -
- Kevin (10/5): - Reasonably priced for 1 nite stay. Property is older & room noisy next to highway.
- Marlene (8/5): - Highway noise was a bit loud
- Rafael (5/5): Passable -
- John (10/5): - Friendly management, clean & quiet room. Great parking. Convenient location.
- Kenneth (9/5): nice little town, the museum was great - all that we did breakfast
- Antonio (9/5): Superb - Room was very clean and cold ac
- Hector (10/5): - It was quiet and the room was nice
- Vergil (10/5): - Great place to stay !
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Good value . Very friendly staff at the desk.
- Paul (5/5): Clean safe no frills stay. - Clean place. No frills. Bit expensive for what it was in a country town. Need a car to get to any services.
- William (10/5): - Wonderful place stay!
- Christy (10/5): Nice room and ac. Great price! - Cold ac and nice room! Some of the other guests were very loud but I know that isn’t the hotel staffs fault but I think they should let them know to keep quiet they aren’t the only people in the rooms.
- Sonja (10/5): - Very friendly staff and room was very clean
- Bernadette (8/5): Very good - Open during hurricane A little outdated but clean
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good -
- Christy (10/5): Great place for great price - Very comfortable bed, clean, great water pressure in shower and nice owners. That when the place isn’t as busy they place another guest right beside you instead of spreading them out. I always get the odd people next to me :/
- Christy (9/5): Great hotel! - Nice room. Very comfortable beds and great shower pressure. The price was different from what i originally booked
- Christy (8/5): Comfy and cool but prices are insane for an old hotel - They always try to charge more for their rooms, it’s older and there is a way nicer hotel In town with a pool for not much more than they wanna charge. Price went up! It was supposed to be $55 as stated on my ticket. It said one adult /one child . 2 double beds and she tried to put me in a king bed and charge me $20 more.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Ample parking
- Noble (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): - Washer outside
- Homero (6/5): Some improvements will help. - We had a few concerns One, there were 2 large roaches in the room near the dresser and TV. Two, the vent in the shower was ineffective as the room got steamy and wet and I had to open the door so that the AC would dissipate the steam. The floor temained wet for awhile. Fumigate the room and replace the vent and that would go a long way to improving the experience.
- Elsa (10/5): Graduation party - Great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. The owners to the hotel greater you with a smile.
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Really Nice - We enjoyed our stay.
- James (4/5): - This is an older motel, reasonably well kept. First, the positives: The room was clean, bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, bathtub stopper worked. Now the negatives:
Upon checking in at 5:00 pm, there was a sign on the door that said "working outside". So I looked around outside and saw no one. I rang the buzzer on the counter, and after a good while, an elderly lady came from the back. She hardly spoke English at all, but I gathered that her daughter had gone somewhere and she would phone her. Then she disappeared to the back. So me and another customer waited approx ten minutes till the younger woman appeared. Finally I was able to check in. This was very aggravating, since we wanted to check in, then quickly head to a granddaughters graduation. The second problem was the big one. The room smelled very musty, like the carpet had been wet. We thought with the a/c turned on, the room would smell better when we returned hours later. Nope - still musty. Now we were too tired to complain, so we just tolerated it. If I had it to do over, I would have certainly requested a different room.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): I will be back - Always clean and comfortable. The staff are hands down the friendliest people I’ve met. Nothing
- Dewey (9/5): Clean grounds, good price, quiet, peaceful. - 1. Price. Very Affordable
2. Cleanliness of the grounds.
3. The room was nice
4. The AC worked well
5. The continental breakfast was basic. But I was not expecting much there anyhow. Nothing
- Dagoberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lilian (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Parking outside, very friendly, never had so many tv channels and of course free wifi nothing
- Francesco.coi (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, quite close to the main square (a few minutes drive). The staff was kind and the bed was comfortable. It may need some review of the cleaning process, unsure why a portion of the carpet was soaked wet. I would probably add more options for breakfast
- Stanley (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rhonda (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): The lady at the front desk was very helpful - Did not try No issues
- Marissa (10/5): - It was a great stay
- Paradise (10/5): I’ll be back again! - Friendly staff and it’s clean & comfy
- Akif (1/5): Very frustrating - Absolutely awful, if you book there is not guarantee you are going to get the room you pay for. Booked a room with a king size bed and apparently there were none available when we arrived but we still had to pay the same price. If a customer is booking a room they should be getting the room they booked, not something completely different. This inn has so much potential and it’s going downhill.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean, good condition. - Very clean, close to the road, check in is 'old fashion'.
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dennis (10/5): A great value and I will definitely stay there again. - The comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms rival any of the high-dollar chains that I have stayed in. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the area which is regularly.
- Benjamin (1/5): Bad. - Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Odd smell coming from the bathroom. Made my wife sick. We left early.
