• Matthew (7/5): Great location. Great rooms. Just needs some attention to detail in the room - Great looking rooms with lots of space Wallpaper was coming of in one of the corners. Bathroom door was very heavily worn and scratched. The bathtub in the room had a broken drain plug meaning we had to hold the drain plug so it didn’t drain. Some areas could’ve been cleaned a bit better. The fridge in the room was marginally colder than the room

• Agbeme (1/5): No hot water, no night staff, and no proper follow-up. Very disappointing experience. - Absolument rien Very disappointing experience for a so-called 4-star hotel. During the night, there was absolutely no hot water in our Deluxe room. We could not use the bathtub we paid for and could not even take a simple shower. What is even more concerning is that there was no night assistance at all. Reception only starts at 10:00 AM, and despite calling all available numbers during the night, no one answered. For a hotel claiming to be 4 stars, having zero night staff or reachable emergency assistance is unacceptable. When we reported the issue the next morning, the receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of showing understanding, we were told they would “check with the manager,” with no concrete solution offered. We were not taken seriously. More than one month later, we are still waiting for a response to our email and for the promised refund. The lack of professionalism and follow-up is shocking. This experience happened on my birthday, which made it even more disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel if you expect proper service, basic facilities, or professional customer care.

• van de nieuwenhuijzen (6/5): Goeie kamer alleen tegenvaller van de herrie in de avond - Nette kamer en schoon Wij hebben hier op zaterdag geslapen en hadden niet verwacht dat het een ‘feest’ centrum is. We konden niet slapen totdat de kroegen dicht gingen omdat de bas zo erg naar binnen drong. Toen we na een dag Amsterdam terug kwamen en wilde douchen hadden we water dat net van koud af is.
• René (6/5): Leuke ligging , goed personeel helaas niet suite waardig - De ligging is goed , ontvangst en personeel was zeer vriendelijk Ik had de suite , er zijn teveel mankementen , zoals een loszittende douche paal, niet afsluitbare bad en wasbak, tv die met twee afstand bedieningen bediend dienen te worden , erg omslagtig , grote gleuven tussen laminaat , raam kon niet open , wel badslippers , geen badjas , geen safe , en zo nog wel een paar dingen die echt beter moeten .
• lisa (7/5): Bien mais trop cher pour ce que c’est - Nous avons adoré la suite, les lumières tamisées pour créer une ambiance chaleureuse. Le lit est très confortable et le jacuzzi est top. La douche est très grande mais l’espace n’est pas assez chauffé et on ne peut pas régler la température de l’eau. Nous avons retrouvé un cafard le lendemain devant la douche. Le déjeuné n’est pas compris dans le prix de la chambre. De plus, les pancakes étaient surgelés. Le personnel est assez froid.

Heerlijk overal dichtbij om heerlijk te kunnen eten of in de stad te vertoeven. Kamer was keurig schoon. Ik kom hier zeker ook terug! Bubbelbad deed het helaas niet. Heb ik wel aangegeven zodat dit hopelijk snel gemaakt word.

• Belén (7/5): nice but a bit too expensive for what it is - the hotel itself is very pretty and modern, it has the restaurant and cafe downstairs which is nice. zaandam on weekdays is a bit empty and don’t expect to be able to eat out late. we got to our suite (even after our supposed arrival hour) and it wasn’t cleaned at all. the employee working on the reception told us she would clean it herself and that it would be ready in 20 minutes. it was okay but it’s not what i would expect with the price we payed. also, we didn’t get any bathrobes and the place itself, outside the room, was a sauna!!! our “jacuzzi” was just a big bathtub with lights.

• Bezrukova (5/5): - Die Nutzung des Whirlpool war nicht möglich da dieser defekt war und leider konnten wir es dann nur als Badewanne mit lauwarmen Wasser nutzen, als wir das Personal darauf hingewiesen haben wurde uns gesagt das der Fehler bei booking liegt und wir die Funktionen an der Wanne nicht beachten sollen … Das Bett also das Kopfteil war auch Mega schmutzig, die Heizung funktionierte auch erst ab 3. Tag im Zimmer…
• Edward (4/5): While there were some positives about our stay, most aspects were largely disappointing and made the booking not worth i - The room itself was aesthetic and looks good at first glance. The receptionist and cleaning staff were kind and generally helpful. The main issue was being charged for roses and towel swans that we did not request. We were told a refund would be processed, however over three weeks later there has still been no update or refund received. Several facilities were also not as advertised or not functioning properly. Two out of three hot-tub features did not work, and part of the tub was broken on the side. The toilet was not clean upon arrival, with toilet paper left inside and a mostly used toilet roll on the holder. The TV did not support SharePlay, an issue the hotel is already aware of and that other guests have mentioned in previous reviews. Despite raising this on our first day, we only received a response on our last evening. This rendered the TV useless as the free to air TV was all in Dutch, and my partner and i only speak english. We also went most of the stay without certain amenities listed on Booking.com, such as bathrobes. When they were finally provided, they were poor quality (holes/falling apart) and barely fit. Other, smaller issues include the quality of the room itself - nails sticking out of walls, big dip in the middle of the bed. And despite the room having convenient black out blinds, there was a router right above the bed which was very bright and disturbing when trying to sleep.

• Kameron (6/5): Beautiful room but not what we were anticipating. - The room was absolutely stunning. The location was good. Easy to get into Amsterdam Centraal. One of the receptionists waited for us to arrive past the check in time. We were unaware there was a check in time so that was lovely. The room was set up beautifully for my birthday. We were also given late check out free of charge as we were unaware of the hot tub not working. The light switches are so confusing to use. We were never told about any maintenance issues but when we stayed there we were unable to use the hot tub as a hot tub. We had to use it as a bath instead.

• Cecilia (1/5): Totaal niet te vreden - Ik had me erg verheugd op mijn verblijf bij manzo’s suite, maar helaas zal ik hier nooit meer terug komen. Iets wat een fijn verblijf had moeten zijn bleek totaal niet waar te zijn. Ik had een deluxe suite geboekt en bij aankomt bleek deze perongeluk weg gegeven te zijn aan een ander persoon. Ze hadden helaas geen soort gelijke kamer meer alleen een normale. Ik kreeg 3 opties, 1. Volledige restitutie en naar huis gaan ( wat geen optie was aangezien ik 2 uur daar vandaan woon en het al 11 uur savonds was ) of een voucher voor een ontbijt krijgen ( wat naar mijn mening ook niet een passende oplossing was , of als laatste het prijsverschil terug krijgen wat op dat moment ongvr €24 eur was. Als je het mij vraagt waren alle 3 de oplossingen niet erg passend. Maar ik ben voor de laatste gegaan omdat ik dacht de dag erna een mail te sturen en te kijken naar een passende oplossing. Toen ik dit de volgende dag gedaan had werd ik op gebeld en werd mij gevraagd uit te leggen wat er precies aan de hand was. Dit had ik gedaan en ze begrepen mijn klacht volledig. En deze werd in behandeling genomen. Ik zou binnen 1 week reactie terug krijgen. Vervolgens waren we een week verder en had ik nog geen reactie nog had ik het prijsverschil terug gekregen. Ik heb hierover gebeld en kreeg de jonge man aan de telefoon die mij die avond had geholpen, ik vond hem die avond erg aardig. Maar toen hij eenmaal begreep waarvoor ik belde begreep hij niet waarom ik hier nog een “ probleem “ van maakte. Wat ik erg vervelend vond, want hoe kon hij niet begrijpen dat ik me hierop verheugd had vooral omdat het mijn eerste keer alleen naar een hotel was en dit niet liep zoals gepland. Hij gaf aan dat alle klachten die dag behandeld zouden worden en dat ik gebeld zou worden. Dit was 22 augustus. Vandaag 18 oktober heb ik nog steeds mijn verschil niet terug gekregen en willen ze ook geen passende oplossing aanbieden. Ik vind dit echt belachelijk en ben zo teleurgesteld in deze ervaring.
• Jessica (4/5): Very disappointing - Zandaam town is lovely The smell in the building is so so bad! The Saturday night was so loud and busy with clubs around, some warning would have been nice as could not sleep from noise at 3am. The lighting in the room is so bad can’t see anything. The restaurant below had rude staff who wouldn’t serve a bottle of water because they had closed only 2 mins prior, and vending machine was empty. Overall I would not stay here again.
