Guest Reviews
- Aivaras (4/5): A stylish and charming place with excellent breakfast, but inconsistent service detracts from the overall experience. - The property has a very nice style, with a beautiful courtyard and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was very good, and overall the environment felt refined and welcoming. While most of the staff were professional, one member of the team provided a very poor welcome and did not assist with luggage. It felt as if guests were expected to manage everything themselves, which is not appropriate for this level of accommodation.
- Ken (10/5): Stellar service made you feel like you were at home - Beautiful and small boutique hotel, which made you feel like you’re staying in a luxury home in a proper neighbourhood
- אורן (10/5): Amazing hotel with amazing stuff - Amazing hotel, amazing stuff- small and located in a great location Nothing
- Ali (9/5): Fab - Beautiful place with great staff Nothing
- Georgina (9/5): Very special stay in this gorgeous home away from home - Stunning property, really does feel like home away from home. Loved the concept! Breakfast was fabulous too! Nothing we didn’t like! It's not the cheapest, but once we arrived and experienced how spatial it is, it felt worth the every penny. We had a fabulous stay!
- bertrand (10/5): Thank you for everything - Perfect location and service Nothing
- Ott (10/5): Unique luxury hotel in the heart of Lima - Atemporal is a luxury boutique hotel that has been converted from a private villa, offering six unique rooms for their guests. It is located in a prestigious neighbourhood, just a short walk away from Miraflores and San Isidro districts.
The hotel offers a well balanced and tasty breakfast (warm + cold options available). The staff is super friendly and helpful both on topics related to your stay at the facility, but also offer insightful recommendations regarding Lima. Sound isolation between some rooms is slightly on the light side.

Nada a reclamar.
- JONATHAN (10/5): -
- Neil (10/5): Fabulous - Beautiful hotel, large spacious bedroom very comfortable bed.
Staff with friendly and helpful, especially Jesus who was a really lovely guy.
The location is good .
Highlight was the garden or courtyard/Garden with lots of colourful foliage and and seating for relaxing coffee or Pisco sour. There is a little room to the side that provides some snacks and homemade baked cakes along with many drinks that are free with the exception of spirits. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lima.
Thank you,
Neil and Letitia. Nothing
- Anastasia (10/5): - Excellent hotel in the heart of Miraflores that feels like home! The staff is super nice and helpful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast served in the beautiful small courtyard.
- Eduardo (9/5): Lima - El desayuno muy bueno.
Muy buen servicio y muy bien ubicado.
- Elżbieta (10/5): - Piekna willa, w której można poczuć klimat podróży.
Do dyspozycji gości cudowny taras, patio, kuchnia z pełnym wyposażeniem.
Bardzo ciekawy wystrój wnętrz, meble antyki.
Pokój ładny , duży. Wygodna łazienka.
Bardzo miły personel,
Wyśmienite śniadania.
Dziękujemy za miłą gościnę.
- Tess (10/5): A beautiful space to stay and relax while in Lima. - Beautiful property in quiet street of good neighbourhood, close to local points of interest. Nothing
- Coastal37125342463 (2/5): Very noisy - not worth the money at all - The hotel is surrounded by two busy roads and there is also a large construction site next door, which causes a lot of noise.
The windows in the room and bathroom are leaky and don't close properly. The noise penetrates into the room and you have no peace and quiet.
If there is a construction site nearby I would expect the hotel manager to let me know in advance.
We left the same afternoon we arrived.
- Claudia (6/5): Not what i expected. - Location, breakfast, atmosphere bathroom, small rooms, thin walls
- adamfG7120OV (8/5): Good option for small city hotel in Lima - Charming and intimate—just as pictured on the website.
We stayed in Room 1, which unfortunately was quite noisy. It’s located on the ground floor with single-pane windows facing the street, and the door opens directly off the reception area with minimal soundproofing. The main window also looks out onto the communal breakfast area, which didn’t help with privacy or noise.
That said, other rooms are likely much quieter and more private—we may have just been unlucky.
There was also construction next door during our stay, which impacted the experience.
On the plus side, the staff were helpful and the location is excellent.
- Alain (10/5): Exceptional -
- SPTraveler18 (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful hotel in Miraflores - This is a small, quiet hotel with a beautiful garden patio and attentive, friendly service. Located in a primarily residential area of Lima, the hotel is a like an oasis amidst noise and traffic. The rooms are spacious and have plentiful amenities. Breakfast was a treat.
- 697beverleyk (10/5): Outstanding in every way - I love staying at atemporal ... it truly is like being at home away from home. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed . The service is friendly helpful and truly makes one feel like they at home. The breakfast is outstanding. Atemporal has become my home when visiting lima
- 245hught (10/5): Atemporal tops the list of hotels in Peru for relaxed charm - There's an old platitude about how some hotels feel more like a home for travellers then a business - but when it comes to Atemporal, it's all true.
Ignacio Macias has significant and impressive form when it comes to creating hotels. His Titilaka up on Lake Titicaca, established before this one, was an early marker to show he has great style and finesse.
Because here's the thing. It's not that difficult to create a luxury hotel - you can just throw money at it. But as you can see all too easily in a place like New York, where they spend the money but never have the style to create a relaxed ambiance - indeed if anything create a hovering anxiety - it takes real creativity and confidence to make a welcoming place.
Having stayed in many hotels in Peru over the last 40 years - and written a great deal about Peru in my books - I would say Atemporal tops the list for relaxed charm.
A couple of honeymooners were very happily having breakfast on the terrace this morning in their dressing gowns – while blackbirds and cheeky blue-eyed doves were keeping us company under the hanging datura lilies. (A very good breakfast by the way, served up by the capable Daniela, with particularly good fresh fruits.)
The fact that the hotel is a couple of blocks away from some of Lima's finest Nikkei restaurants – Osaka and the less known but excellent Shizen - the charming bookshop cafe of Libreria Sur - and the beautiful old olive trees of the Olivar park, with saffron-coloured finches dotted around, just makes it all the more appealing.
You won’t want to leave.
- Jacek (10/5): - Charming hotel that feels like a house. Wonderful staff, great breakfast served in the green back patio. A quiet oasis in the middle of the city.
- Ilo (10/5): Exceptional -
- shroppers (8/5): Little gem - Warmest welcome. They can’t do enough for you. They are always there day and night.
Highlight. Stunning outside seating area with honesty bar and complimentary kitchen goods. Tea. Coffee. Beer. Wine. Snacks. Eclectic decor that really works.
Beds comfy and huge!
Great location. Easy walking distance to nice restaurants.
You must walk to the Huaca Pucllana. Pre Inca pyramid. And definitely stay for dinner. Spectacular view.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal to explore the city, great breakfast. Pantry a plus. We worked one morning and WiFi/lay-out of the property was perfect for that (started in their garden/terrace, then moved upstairs to the common lounge). It felt like home.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Incredibly friendly staff. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated. After 2.5 months of the travel, Atemporal was our favorite accommodations! Nothing!
- Peterb2012London (10/5): A very nice hotel in a good quiet location - This is a very nice hotel in a good quiet location but within walking distance of many places of interest.
It has only six rooms.
There is a good welcome from the staff on arrival and a very relaxing check in.
The staff remain attentive but discrete.
There are complimentary snacks and drinks in the lovely seating area at the back of the hotel where a delightful breakfast is also served.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed with a good bathroom.
A lovely place to stay when in Lima.
- RAdamsCowley (10/5): Perfect Stay - Amazing experience that we will share with all of our friends and family traveling to Lima.
We had the fortunate of staying at both Fausto and Atemporal. You simply cannot go wrong. The location of both affords close proximity to many great restaurants (Huaca Pullanca, Osaka), activities (surfing, walking on miraflores boardwalk, shopping at Locamar, and seeing cats at Kennedy Park!), as well as many cultural experiences.
While not out and about, the respite Atemporal provides allows for recuperation and relaxation after a day out with many amazing amenities including free snacks, sodas, water, wine and beer.
However, what makes this place truly special are the staff including Antonio and Fabrizio. They made us feel at home and made it even more difficult to leave. It was as if we were visiting the homes of our long time friends. We can't recommend enough.
- BillB_10 (10/5): Excellent. - Excellent.
Top rate meet and greet from Sergio, thank you very much.
Lovely room, good food, great service.
Really nice secluded garden area to eat in.
Nice walk to the sea.
We did an organised guided bike ride which was good fun.
Long drive from the airport in the horrible Lima traffic.
Can’t think of a nicer hotel ever!
- deevLuvMyLifeDee (10/5): The only place I’ll stay in Lima (Miraflores) - Wow 🤩! This Casa en Lima was my favorite on my trek through South America! It is only 6 rooms and I booked the “Grand” room with the huge bathroom and claw foot tub. I felt like I was home and the staff was absolutely incredible. This stay had me coming back to the states to start planning a trip solely through Peru to visit every single property the Andean group offers throughout Peru.
There is a kitchen that is stocked with wine, beer, drinks, homemade bites, and snacks that is included as part of your stay. An honor bar of distilled spirits is available on the patio if you’re needing something a wee stronger, where the staff will curate a cocktail if you desire or make your own G&T and hang out on the exquisite natural foliage patio! I did not want to leave and explore! I wanted to stay there my whole stay! But alas I did explore and was so stoked to be able to go back to the casa at the end of the day. The breakfast that is also included with your stay was stupendous! Food in Lima is amazing overall but at the Casa it was my favorite part of the day. My bathroom was divine. All of the products they used were exactly what I wanted. I’m a sucker for a clawfoot tub.
The seating area outside of my room had a window seat and that’s where I had my tea in the afternoon. All of the sitting areas in the house were wonderful.
My bed and bedding ? An absolute dream 😴
I can not say enough about this property and how special it truly is. Every single detail attended to, in every way. Thank you to everyone on the staff for making me feel at home.
- Nicky (8/5): Very good -
- Farshad (10/5): If you are looking for as special place to stay, this hotel is a perfect place for you - They provide a unique experience from arrival till departure
Hotel , rooms , breakfast, staff .., all very welcoming… even breakfast! NA
- Diana (10/5): Very homely, lovely hotel -
- Derek (10/5): Superb! Well worth it - Love the homely feel. There is a communal kitchen and honesty bar where you can help yourself to food and beverages. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! Room on the ground floor faced the breakfast area so was a little noisy in the morning.
- rachelkT9318OI (10/5): A Perfect Stay in Miraflores: Beautiful Hotel with Exceptional Service - Amazing location in Miraflores - easy walks to beautiful parks, the ocean, and wonderful restaurants. The hotel is beautiful with a peaceful backyard with the most fragrant and beautiful flowers I have ever seen. They serve a delicious breakfast and have wine and coffee available anytime you desire. Service is top notch. The rooms are also beautiful - with very luxurious bathrooms!
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was small and quiet. The garden was beautiful as were the rooms. The staff was kind and attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Overall an excellent option for anyone looking for a top end place to stay that isn't a large hotel. Nothing. It was all wonderful.
- Clayton (10/5): The attention to detail at Atemporal is unparalleled in Peru. Every little detail is carefully thought out. From the dec - Every little detail is carefully thought out. From the decor to the background music in the lobby and the courtyard. The little wrapped gift on the bed. The honesty bar, the courtyard and the magnificent breakfast. The staff are incredible, kind and attentive. An absolute gem that I cannot recommend highly enough.
- Jeremy (10/5): - What a tastefully done property that echos styles, intimacy and comfort. I highly recommend staying here - it is a great location, and the staff is highly attentive to your needs.
- Ivana (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (10/5): Would come back again - The staff was amazing. The room was clean. The breakfast was lovely. Cute quaint and perfect for a quick stay.
- ismaelw619 (2/5): Do not trust - unreliable - Cancelled the day of the reservation and tried to move the booking to their sister hotel. Unable to be contacted by phone and booking service (hotels.com) could not get hold of them either. No warning given. Unreliable, do not trust this hotel.
- samdY7339UM (10/5): Atemporal - This is a unique hotel. It is a converted mansion. It is located in the MiraFlores district of Lima. Our Room was very large. The bathroom had two showers and a chandelier. One unique feature is that except for alcohol the drinks and snack in the kitchen are free of charge. The breakfast they serve for free is outstanding.
- Ella (9/5): A beautiful retreat in Lima - Amazing staff, beautiful rooms and decorations, comfortable beds. Unique building and a complimentary cakes and snacks and drinks for guests. Amazing breakfast and beautiful crockery. Hot water wasn’t hot at peak times when all rooms were showering simultaneously. It was fine at non peak times.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (10/5): BEST HOTEL EVER - THE most amazing hotel- its as if you have the whole house to yourself. We loved it, would recommend to everyone, its worth it.
- Micaela (10/5): Don’t miss out on a chance to stay here - This was one of my favorite accommodations anywhere, ever. The property is stunning, the rooms wonderfully decorated. The staff are warm and receptive. The breakfast was decadent. And the bed - I wish I could transport it home with me! My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. Don’t miss out!
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sebastian (10/5): super! - Super cool! La decoración es linda, la ubicación muy conveniente y el staff muy atento. Regresaremos!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super unique and cute Boutique Hotel. We had a single queen bed room it was very small but it was comfortable, clean and had a big bathroom and a little terrace. Staff was friendly and the house has a security guard 24/7. Atemporal is located in a good area with lots of shops and restaurants near by!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff was extremely courteous
- Ben (10/5): - Beautiful finishes and design, lovely amenities and charming staff
- Timothy (10/5): Highly recommend a stay here - Perfect choice for a short stay in Lima. The hotel itself has a great ambience - beautifully decorated and designed. Comfortable common areas. The room was of ample space, comfortable bed. Healthy breakfast spread, evening happy hour - guests are well taken care of by a 24/7 host. Wifi fast and reliable. The neighbourhood felt upmarket and safe. Very short walking distance to the impressive Huaca Pucllana, numerous restaurants and a large supermarket (Wongs).
- Z (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Atemporal. The team was amazing making my stay comfortable and I felt right at home. The room was clean and comfortable and was a nice retreat from the city. I also really loved the chauffer service offered by the hotel and the hot spot was very convenient when traveling in the city. I highly recommend staying here if in Lima and you want a quiet, comfortable hotel to stay in.
- Valeria (10/5): - This hotel is unbelievable! Beautiful bedrooms, the extras are magic. Tea, water, fruit whenever you want. Delicious breakfast and 5pm cookies. 100% recommended!
- Courtenay K. (8/5): Quaint boutique hotel with some lapses in service - Small rooms, great included breakfast
Service was very variable- some of the front desk personal were very helpful others not at all - there were several mistakes with arranging transportation- not ideal @ 530am when you need a vehicle for 8 people and they confused the pick up time despite multiple confirmations
- Wendy (10/5): Beautiful little oasis in Lima - We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Atemporal after a tiring and fast-paced week in the Sacred Valley. From the moment we stepped inside the gate we felt relaxed and grateful to have found this little gem. Ricardo, Mercedes and Arenna were so helpful and kind - always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed, including ordering pollo a la brasa from a local restaurant and ensuring our pisco sours were made fresh and ready when the food was delivered. We barely left the hotel, preferring to enjoy the beautiful garden, the honesty bar stocked with lovely wines, and the hummingbirds who visited throughout the day. There's plenty within in walking distance if you choose to go out, and it's a quick and cheap Uber ride in any direction. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you're ever in Lima. You will not be dsappointed.
- Eberhard (10/5): Unique and Quiet Gem in the Heart of Lima - Atemporal is a wonderful and intimate mini-hotel in the heart of Miraflores, one of Lima's most beautiful districts. Every detail is executed to perfection, from the made-from-scratch breakfast offerings, free bikes, free upstairs minibar and wifi hotspot they provide guests to the building's impeccable design. Service is a stand-out; the driver, concierge and even the chef were personable, warm spirits and helpful with everything we needed. I would recommend Atemporal to anyone looking for a unique experience in Lima.
- Kar Ming (8/5): Great impression - Nice boutique hotel and friendly staff service
- coleman (10/5): - This was my second stay here and I may be returning for another night before returning to the United States.........I found the hotel to be very comfortable and the staff very attentive.
- Lian Choo (10/5): A great find of a hotel - Amazing place. Loved the boutique hotel . Great personal service from all the staff, free flow of coffee n tea with cookies which is a real bonus and the place is well located near eateries.
- patzy (10/5): Feels like home - Wonderful set up, only nine rooms all charming with common space and garden. Amenities include bikes to tour area and a house shuttle to close by restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming and unusual - The Atemporal is very unique - it is like entering a home rather than a hotel. In the US, we would consider this a bed and breakfast. The building was a lovely home converted to a hotel. The hosts are very warm and incredibly helpful and the amenities are quite fun. I would highly recommend it but it is important to know that it is definitely not a typical hotel.
- Shiyi (10/5): - Fantastic small hotel with great services. The shower and bed are so comfy, even better than home. The hotel staff are all so helpful and well trained, helped us arrange many things and even made reservation for restaurants for us. A truly great stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hotel - convenient, well-located, friendly staff, upscale amenities, comfortable accommodations.
- Edgar (10/5): This hotel is so nice!! - Well, the hotel is very comfortable, nice, clean, pretty, calm, and the people that works there, are so kind. During the day, they offered little delicious and fresh snaks.
