• Yusuke (10/5): Cozy and clean hideout in outskirt of Chiang Rai, I would like to thank the owner - Baan Pordeedin is located about 1.5 km away from the center of Chiang Rai (Bus terminal 1), the environment is very calm and quiet in return. The owner is so gentle and kind that I was able to stay very comfortably. The breakfast is nice, several local dishes are served and I really enjoyed them. Recommended. Nothing negative to mention. Though Baan Pordeedin is not located at the exact heart of Chiang Rai, guests can find many shops and restaurants within a walking distance.

Le petit déjeuner est très bon et le personnel est très accueillant et disponible. Notre linge déposé au service de nettoyage sentait super bon et les instructions demandées ont été suivi (lavage mais pas de séchage pour certains vêtements). Humidité dans la chambre et toilettes qui ont tendance à se boucher mais le personnel reste très disponible pour régler tout problème.

Es bräuchte Wärmeplatten für die heissen Speisen. Man konnte aber eine Mikrowelle zum erhitzen benutzen

Das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls gut geschmeckt, es gab sowohl warme thailändische Gerichte als auch typisch westliches Frühstück. Das Hotel ist einfach eingerichtet, aber man hat alles was man benötigt zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen. Das Stadtzentrum ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar (15 min).

The space is far more beautiful than in the pictures, also is spotlessly clean. Their breakfast is soo tasty and had a great variety of dishes. It also features a charming little pond with small fish. Will be happy to come back!!

• Gabor (9/5): - The apartment / hotel was great. 20 minutes walk from Chiang Rai bus station, quiet location. Air conditioning and fridge, real hot water, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good: fairly continental, with some hot dishes (Thai + eggs, sausage) and standard dishes. I would recommend the place and book again. Nothing to complain 😊

• Thomas (10/5): Wonderful stay, felt like home. - The room is spotless, the bed is incredibly comfy. The staff is so wonderful, anything you need they are happy to try to assist. Breakfast was wonderful. We appreciated having local food options for breakfast, and assorted fresh fruits and a coffee/espresso machine. The hotel sits in a walkable neighborhood. It took us seniors 20 minutes to walk to the night markets. A car can get you there in 7-10 minutes. We can't wait to return again next year. This will be a place we will repeatedly return to. No complaints at all, Great place.

We liked the feeling of privacy, The room was spacious with a relatively new renovation. The hotel staff was very responsive. Even if you didn't ask to clean the room, the service staff leaves water on the bench by the door every day. Small, but pleasant detail. The breakfast was good and tasty. If you want to walk to the city center every day, you might choose a hotel that is closer to the city center.

• Henry (10/5): Rather good find in a nice area of Chiang Rai. - It is a nice traditional large family house that has been transformed into a hotel. The area is quiet and tree lined and the vibe in the hotel is boutique easy going. The owner, Khun Um, greets you on arrival with a big smile. She also supervises a good breakfast with a mix of Thai and western items. Rather good to say it is included in the very reasonable room rate. Aircon is good in the rooms and the beds are comfortable. I was on a driving tour of Thailand and there was plenty of free parking space for my car. All is very good at this price point.

Je v ní zažraná špína, na vaně mrtví brouci, zatuchlá, ale to je problém ve většině asijských zemí. Tím, že v koupelnách není okno, nelze ani vyvětrat.

Bright, fresh feel to the place with tiled floors and open corridors. The staff are friendly and helpful. Really good value for money. It is a bit dated which is fine by us but might not suit everyone.

Bathroom was spacoius, although the water was never really hot and it could have been a bit cleaner. The property is in a quiet location and is a bit out. It’s around a 20 min walk to the main busy area of Chiang Mai, we didn’t mind it too much but might be an issue for some people.
• Martina (10/5): Estancia perfecta! - Me ha encantado hospedarme aqui!! Las habitaciones estan super limpias, son amplias y cuentan con todo lo que necesitas e incluso mas. Tiene jabones, toallas, smart TV de pantalla plana con Netflix, wifi de alta velocidad, agua, productos de aseo como palitos para las orejas, etc. El desayuno incluido tiene de todo, huevos, salteado con carne, frankfurt, toastadas con mermeladas, ensalada, zumo, cafe, super completo y muy bueno. En cuanto a la localización también es muy buena, a 7 min de un 7/11 y a 20 del mercado nocturno, esta situado en un lugar tranquilo donde prácticamente no hay coches. La mujer que nos atendió es muy amable, un encanto! Tuvimos “problemas” para ir a Doi Mae Salong y ella nos solucionó como ir, como volver, tiene información de alquiler de motos, de todo vaya! Recomiendo al 100% escoger este sitio para pasar la estancia en Chiang rai ya que la relación calidad/precio es inmejorable.
