It had every amenity you could possibly need. The breakfast was delicious with homemade quiche and cranberry, butternut squash bread. It was worth every penny - actually felt underpriced. We will definitely stay there again and will absolutely recommend it to anyone who asks. Thank you to David, the owner, who was extremely professional, courteous and welcoming.

We got the Pear tree room this time, and it was so cozy and perfect for our weekend stay. Breakfast is included, and made on site by the staff. It's like a home away from home, and I highly recommend it. The gift shop also offers holiday items and handmade decor. There's something in the shop for everyone , and it is such a wonderful atmosphere overall.

Internet /wifi in the room is weak and spotty; cell phone connection was poor, and the tv signal was lost and could not be restored. Light sleepers will not appreciate the sound of weekday road traffic that begins around 4:30 am. CPAP users should avoid the Vine Room because there is no convenient outlet near the bed. Nearest restaurants are in Newburgh, about 20-30 minutes’ drive.

The location was close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Even though it is a bed and breakfast, Tin Brook doesn't feel like you are living in someone's house since it has private entrance and private bath. No bed and pillow combo is as comfortable as my one at home.

I also liked the little gift shop there…this isn’t a fancy place - just one that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.

Our host David reached out to me via text to confirm our arrival time, was able to easily send us links to many local restaurants as well as the wi-fi information. Breakfast was french toast with fresh fruit for me and a quiche for my wife. Both were delicious. Overall a wonderful experience and a great value.

The towels were so soft and thick. The AC unit cooled down the room nicely. I’m not typically a fan of bed and breakfasts but this one was so great. The morning breakfast was incredible - and private/isolated if you want it to be. Overall, we loved our stay. Nothing to think of

• Tom (10/5): - I stumbled on a hidden gem while visiting the Hudson Valley. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I was in the Strawberry room and it was decorated with new furniture and appliances. You entered into a living and full kitchen area then went into a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king bed. David the owner and manager was more than hospitable staying up late to accommodate my late arrival. I had to leave early before breakfast and David fixed up a “care package” so I would have something to eat in the morning. There was a coffee maker in the room so I had coffee too! If you are in the area of Walden/ Newburg NY and are tired of cookie cutter motels, give the Tin Brook Bed and Breakfast a call and enjoy the hidden gem I found.

The road noise didn’t bother me (I ran the air conditioner) but be aware that the Inn is on a state highway and traffic can get a bit loud at times. Still, I would definitely stay here again.

My room (the Vineyard room) was spacious enough for a couple, with seating areas and amenities like coffee/tea and a small refrigerator. Everything was spotlessly clean. The ensuite was surprisingly large! Communication was excellent before check-in and in preparation for check-out. The process was simple and convenient. The host was exceptionally pleasant and provided excellent dinner recommendations for local restaurants. The location of the property is easy to find and convenient to the quaint downtown area of Walden and also nearby towns. I highly recommend!

• Arthur (8/5): David is a great innkeeper, friendly, conversant, but not intrusive, as some B&B innkeepers are. - The innkeeper was most accommodating, even to the point of coming and letting us in when we accidently locked the key in the room. Breakfast choices were good and tasty. Room was immaculately clean. Provided good advice on restaurants. Seemed concerned for our comfort. We were comfortable and slept well. B& B is on fairly busy state highway. On the somewhat expensive side for what was offered, but it seems that that particular weekend was overbooked in the whole region. Room was simply, but adequate.
