- Dayang (8/5): Very good - The hotel is located around 300metres from dataran merdeka. Just a walking distance for me as I booked it to join KL half marathon. So if you are looking for the nearest hotel to dataran merdeka, this is it. You can find a lot of halal eatery place around and its just opposite the viral klcg cafe :). The staff is very warm and kind and responses to your enquiry very fast! Kudos team! Nothing much to feedback except for the toilet door which doesnt have a lock on them and doesnt close properly.

- Ambreena (5/5): as good as you pay. - the location and the staffs are excellent! easy to find foods, near mrt station & pasar seni. small room, clogged sink, small shower area. very basic facilities. no iron, no hairdryer in the room. you have to go to level M and take turn to iron your clothes. very time consuming and it is very hard to manage if you have small kids.

I stayed in three different rooms. They all had dirty sheets. The rooms are dusty, for someone who suffers from allergy like it’s, it’s big deal.

- Chung (8/5): This hotel excellent experience during my stay of 12 days in Malaysia - from KL to Johor and Meleka - room with window values for money. staff shows caring and very pleasant attitude. location excellent: walking distance from Metro and China Town - people can have night life and lots of choice of food courts, stalls, restaurants, close to the city centre.

Hotel is very centrally located within Kuala Lumpur. Short walk to Chinatown, where most restaurants are open till at least midnight. A very safe city and neighbourhood. A few homeless people in the area, but that is all over Kuala Lumpur. I would stay here again!
- Shafi (3/5): Decent experience but keep the sheets clean and check up on the cleaning staffs work - The front desk staff was nice. The bathrooms are really run down and doors dont open properly. The wifi sometimes is slow and spotty. But the main issue was the cleaning the sheets the cleaners were really lazy so its not a serious issue there should be no hair and change your linens for new travellers to the hotel. The only reason why they got a good review is the staff at the front is incredibly respectful nice and kind and the bed is comfortable in the hotel i give it 3.5/5 respectfully.

- Jes-alif (8/5): Comfortable stay at Ave J Hotel - Location is wonderful! Super close to major attractions and area is quite walkable but maybe proceed with some caution at night. My room had a view of the river and city landmarks which I liked. There are buses in front but I didn't figure out where they went. Rail stations a short walk away. There are affordable places to eat around Central Market which is just behind the hotel. There are also money changers and banks around. 24h convenience store and 711 on adjacent street. Staff are really friendly. Very responsive to my requests and inquiries. Room may be a bit modest, nothing fancy, but comfortable for me especially the soft pillows and comforter. One towel I was given had a little bit of a weird smell after getting wet. Not a lot of body wash and shampoo in the room but you can request this from the front desk. No hand soap, but this is also minor.
