Christina (9/5): The staff were very helpful - The two windows to the two apartments rented had a lot of light coming through the windows because of the outside light. The staff covered the windows for us in order to be able to sleep. I really appreciate that. The light outside of the windows. The bathrooms did not have a lot of light so we had to improvise.

The ocean is a little walk or drive but it is easily accessible. The pools are great and the staff is friendly.

Spacious and Well-appointed throughout with the best views to be had in Puerto Penasco. Amenities galore and near all of the 'must do's' of the area. Would HIGHLY recommend and will be returning soon!

Karen (5/5): Passable - The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was upon arrival. The cleanliness made me feel immediately comfortable and at home. Another great feature was its proximity to the beach; it was just a short walk away, which made daily beach trips incredibly convenient. Additionally, the condo was very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy my stay. I recently stayed at this condominium and, unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. One major issue was that the elevators were not working throughout my stay. Being placed on the fifth floor, I had to climb up and down the stairs five to six times a day, which was quite exhausting. Additionally, on the last day of my stay, the electricity went out, and there was no water for several hours. To make matters worse, the check-in process was very difficult. The phone number provided for check-in was not working, and I had to find alternative ways to contact someone for assistance. This resulted in me waiting outside the condominium for 45 minutes in the heat before I could finally check in. These inconveniences significantly impacted my overall enjoyment of the stay.

It is a bit of a hike to the beach but overall it was a great place to stay. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach. It was a bit of a trick. If you were going to haul a lot of stuff I’d bring a wagon.

They charged us almost 800 dollars for 3 night and the hotel was under construction the hotel wasn’t safety horrible customer service no body seems to know what they were doing We arrive around 4:30 and we couldn’t find the room key till 7:00 they made us to go back and forth at Esmeralda hotel for about 5 times and finally someone was able to give us the keys The room was dirty the fridge didn’t work the sink was liking we have to go downstairs to notify for all those damage and after 2 hours couple employees came and try to fix it but the fridge still didn’t work because they say we are under construction and the Watter can’t go that high and didn’t even provide us with a bag of ice but we have to pay for ice. The worse think they charged us 111.11 for using the towels and pillow case. They didn’t do walk through when we got the room or before we left the reason is because they charge you extra with no explanation The place wasn’t good at all no umbrella no chair for the beach no bathroom on the first floor but they told us to go to Esmeralda 1 mile away to use the bathroom I will never go again to this property Horrible customer service no one came to clean the room during the time that we stayed we pay for cleaning a fee 260 dollar and in the end they charge us for using their towels please check your bank account because they charged me extra 30 dollars without notification I have to call them to refund my 30 dollars Nothing we will never go again to this property

Trek83586 (10/5): Unique, Spacious Resort with a Beautiful Open Courtyard with Minigolf next to the beach! - I came here for the Rocky Point Rally back in Nov. It was a nice and peaceful stay. This property is lovely it has a home, family feel and their buildings are spread across the property with a beautiful center courtyard with mini-golf, pools, and grill areas vs a typical resort where everything is crammed into a complex and how high the floors can go. It wasn’t packed and I like how spacious the property felt. You have a full kitchen, 2 bedroom, laundry on-site in your room, and complimentary toiletries and coffee/tea. I enjoy the room and the price, when I was there the property was being worked on and upgraded as I saw work on the pool (they have 3 pools on-site now) , cafe, bar, and upgrades to the lobby being done. It’s walking distance from some nice restaurants and bars such as Banditos and retail stores next to the Sonoran resorts. I would definitely stay here again and with the progress I’ve seen I like how different and unique this resort is compared to the popular Sonoran and Las Paloma’s resorts in Rocky Point.
FrankCordova (4/5): - The room had a great view. Updated appliances and tvs that disn’t work though. Didn’t like the fact that the hotel doesn’t have a lobby. To check in and out you have to drive like ten minutes downtown to get you keys. My wife and I stayed in the master room and we where bitten by bed bugs I have over 10 bites on me alone. Pools are usually cool but these pools felt like hot tubs. First time we stay at a hotel where we have to take off all the linnen from the beds and put then in the laundry room. Start the washer with a load of towels. Start a load of dishes in the dishwasher. My family and I didn’t mind doing this but usually when we go on vacation and stay at a hotel all of this is done with room service. Overall really didn’t enjoy our stay and won’t go back to this location.
Cheap Chrissy (8/5): Well Appointed and Clean Condo (306D) - The two-room suite (D306) really exceeded our expectations. The beds were super comfortable, there were TV's in the bedrooms, a full-sized fridge, microwave, and stove, and all the cooking utensils you would need. Even had two coffee makers and a blender. Also full sized washer/dryer and enough soap for one load. Travertine shower enclosures, quartz countertops and a great view from the large patio made it feel deluxe. No worries about running out of hot water with the huge water heater. There were more than enough towels and linens. Comfy leather couch and loveseat. We were told by reservation takers there would only be sheets but the beds did have clean bedspreads that worked as blankets. There were a couple of putters for the mini-golf course and even a few board games. Everything was remarkably clean. The complex is gated and the guards only let residents in so it felt safe. That said, the resort itself had a few rough edges, as expected. One of the pools was only half completed, one was heated but there was no hot tub. The elevator didn't work, good thing we weren't in a wheelchair. The huge smart TV in the master bedroom wasn't hooked up to the satellite but it had netflix that only played movies dubbed in Spanish. The remote batteries were dead so we had to buy more. The ice maker was inoperable - maybe on purpose. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if we get the same bargain rates we paid this time.

The unit, at Casa Blanca, was beautiful but having to go across town to pick up the keys and the long, hard fight with the realty company to get proper maintenance of this unit was enough for me to never want to go back. Things didn't work around the condo and for over $1000 for four nights, we should have received tip top treatment. I feel sorry for the owners because this property is so mismanaged. And to add insult to injury, I asked one of the Castaways Realty Company if there was a restaurant in Casa Blanca. He said there was and even gave me the name of a restaurant - he needs to get his facts straight - there is NO restaurant in Casa Blanca. He lied to me.
Verified traveler (2/5): Not what it cracked out to be - Specifically wanted a 2 bedroom with a king bed, 2 single beds and a pull out sofa like there advertising ad stated for our 3 night family vacation. When we got there, the rooms had 1 king and 1 queen with no pull out sofa. Went back to Office to resolve issue which was of sight a 10 min drive with no lock. We were informed that there is nothing they can do and have no other rooms available. So basically we paid $450 for very uncomfortable 3 night stay that we Did Not enjoy thanks to Castaway vacation/ Casa Blanca Golf Condos.
