- Tyshelle (2/5): Staff is horrible. - Room was decent for a one-night stay, but overall the experience was frustrating. The walls were dirty, which already wasn’t a great first impression.
The biggest issue was the staff. I was repeatedly bothered throughout the day about having visitors, even though the hotel advertises itself as “family and friends friendly.” I was told multiple times there would be extra charges for visitors or additional people staying. Later, when I tried to properly add guests and pay if needed, the manager told me there actually wasn’t a charge and didn’t understand why I was being told that.
The next morning, the same staff member who had been bothering me tried to argue with me and accused me of lying. Even after I showed proof of the call (and mentioned I had it recorded), he continued to be dismissive and said he would charge my card anyway.
For context, No extra guess was staying at first but I only had children (all under 16) and one other adult with me. The inconsistent information and unprofessional behavior made the stay stressful. I wouldn’t return.
- Ashly (1/5): -
- jeff (5/5): I was expecting a mom an pop place…it was far from that. I’ll never return. - not much there were only two customers that night and yet we were placed in the room closest to the road which was very noisy.
The room was ridiculously small. Hard to navigate around and no place to set our suitcase.
- SAID BOUJNAH (5/5): - The price. The location. The staff. Internet connection
- Depoe (9/5): -
- Donald (4/5): I know this is a "budget" motel but doing the least is not good way to run a business. - very nice staff the operator should of made sure the room is ready. The soap provided was so old and dry when it fell on the floor it broke in 5 pieces. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were empty. Please spend $2 for the next guest. Heater so loud when it turns on it wakes you up. No extra blankets
- Edward (10/5): -
- Louise (5/5): Comfortable - Close to where our event venue The floor was dirty
- Mathew (5/5): -
- Georgiana (6/5): Difficult to reach out for any requests - Convenient location, comfortable beds, warm room. The shampoo and shower gel bottles were empty, had to go ask for shampoo for my friend as she only realised that in the shower. Good thing she wasn't by herself.
The communication is very difficult, I messaged the property for the wifi password since the guy at the reception had already gone. I never got it, I think they have like a chatbot that's dealing with requests of any type and keeps opening tickets that never get answered because it happened twice.
- Ingridi (10/5): Muito limpo, bom atendimento, prático - Tudo limpinho e perto de tudo Nada
- Leonard (7/5): - comfortable beds, good lighting outside water did not get hot in the shower. No blinds on the bathroom window, they were frosted, but still need blinds!
- MATTIA (6/5): - Ottima posizione per visitare la contea di Lancaster Camera piccola. Personale assente alla reception (incontrato solo al momento del check-in).
- madison (6/5): Our stay overall was very good, the room was on the smaller side but was clean and updated. The tv was a bit old though. - The property was very quaint and cute. Very close to a busy road.
- vijay (5/5): Probably never going to stay there again. - Near to the Sight and Sound theatre The bathroom sink was next to the bed in the very small room. A/C did not work Ice machine did not work Attendant was abrupt bordering on rude.
- Julie (6/5): Clean, simple lodging & a good value. - We had a modern, clean, simple room. Comfy bed. Appreciated the microwave, mini fridge, and parking near the room. It is on a road that is has a good amount of truck traffic which was noisy throughout the night we were there.

- Breanna (4/5): -
- Terese (10/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Andrea (1/5): - Nothing I felt like we were sleeping in a closet! Do not accept room 10, it is so extremely small and you hear all the traffic as well.
- Phyllis (6/5): - The room was clean. Air conditioning kept going on and off instead of just staying on.Bed was adequate. Staff didn’t seem interested or friendly.
- Nieves (10/5): Cozy and Calm Stay - The area was calm, the rooms were clean and renovated. No smoking smell, nor bed bugs. Small and cozy, perfect for vacation and exploring Lancaster. Gas station and subway near. Parking is small, but there's parking for each room. N/A
- Ross A. (8/5): - I booked a reservation on the reviews I read. It is a back in the day facility but all the units have been upgraded. I think a little work on up grading the beds would make this place exceptional. I will stay here again on our annual trip to the area.
- Doug (10/5): - While this is a small private hotel I was still struck by the neat, clean room, and friendly staff
- Pamela (4/5): - When I booked this room we were traveling with our dog and I saw that they charged a $20 fee for pets. When we got there we were told that they did not allow pets. I see that I got charged a no show fee but we did show and turned away the owner. If they don’t allow pets then they need to update their website or not charge a fee when we show up with our dog
- Robert (1/5): Not a good place to stay. - Room was clean. No one was on duty when I arrived, notice on the door to call the number. Called three times and got disconnected after 6 rings each time. After waiting about 20 minutes someone finally arrived. Checked in and asked for some ice, was instructed to go next door to the truck stop and get ice because the ice maker was no longer working.
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Chemelli (5/5): - Very convenient to sight and sound theatre. Needs a coffee pot in the rooms
- Vicki (10/5): - The stay was awesome, it was located very close to the event we attended. The shower had great pressure. I would stay there again. It would be my first choice.
- Camacho (10/5): - Todo bien bonito sencillo y limpio Mucha tienda cerca para dónde teníamos que ir también.
- Pamela (10/5): - The hotel is located near the theater and great restaurants. The person at the desk was kind enough to let us enter our room early. Could use a little cleaning, but I'm satisfied for the price.
- deborah (4/5): - Bathroom very small, toilet seat needed tightened down, lot of spider webs in bathroom
- MARÍA (2/5): Sin más - Ubicación La habitación es diminuta
La pared tiembla cuando pasan los camiones
La cama no era especialmente cómoda ni grande

- Nedda (10/5): Restful affordable clean beautiful farmland scenes - Room was super clean. Front reception gentleman was kind, courteous, professional and helpful. The location was wonderful, beautiful scenery of farm land. Easily accessible to all amenities. Much nicer than any hotel downtown in Lancaster. Parking immediately in front of your room, very convenient & no hassles with valet or separate garage. If you are wanting to complain about no chair or clothes hanging area or old paint( paint was fresh) or stupidity like missing bath or shower plug( there was none missing) then go to another motel/ hotel and pay the $200-$300 extra to get the wussified pampering; our room had both, chair, clothes hangers and clean bath/ shower, toiletries, dryer clean bedding and was roomy. Very restful. Sitting areas outside your room. All in all a very nice restful clean accommodation. Very affordable. If you want more, go elsewhere and pay more for a lesser wholesome experience. I would definitely return just for the tranquil rest and lovely setting and clean affordable motel.
- Josh (6/5): - The property is listed as “newly renovated” but the renovations were completed by a DIY person…at least I hope for the owner's sake. The shower head could not rinse the soap off, the floors had holes and made noises, and the outlet above the bed was so loose you could not plug something into it because there wasn’t anything to stop the outlet. The man at the front desk was nice. The motel sits on the main road and it is truck heavy at times which made it a bit noisy. In the end, it was sufficient enough to get a nights sleep away from home.
- nannette (10/5): - The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly I didn't like that booking charged us $45.oo and the hotel didn't know anything about the charge booking said it was a property service charge and the hotel doesn't have a service charge next time I will call the hotel and not use booking anymore
- john (4/5): Look for another place! - The room didn't have a closet, the only place you could put your suitcase as on the bed.
There was two (2) electrical outlets, and the shower head leaked badly.
The parking lot was too small for ten (10) rooms.
- Michelle (2/5): - We were in town from Wisconsin for a funeral. There was nowhere to hang clothes!!!! The bathroom is tiny, not enough room for one person, let alone two. There was no table or any room whatsoever to put your luggage and personal belongings. We dragged in two patio chairs from the "courtyard" to put our stuff on and made a makeshift nightstand for one side of the bed *mine" that had nothing and no outlets to charge my devices or set my water or eyeglasses on. I asked for an iron to touch up clothes for funeral, a usual standard at even a Motel 6 and was told no. Is this what you should expect these days for $110?? Very disappointed and would not recommend!
- smith (5/5): Ok for the price but lot of noise from traffic without ac c - Close to outlets .price was reasonable No.closet or place to hang clothes ,dust under bed
- Bessie (8/5): Would stay there again, always enjoy the area. - Easy to find, near the other places we planned to visit, adequate parking.
- Dr. Irwin (8/5): - The room was ok, but it was hard to figure out the lighting. When you thought you were turning on one light with a switch, it turned on another one. Each light switch was different than what was expected.
- Sabrina (4/5): Would not stay again. - Nice location. Room was not clean. Outside needs some TLC.
- susan (6/5): - It sits too close to rt. 30 at night all you can hear are truckers Jake breaks. got no sleep at all.
- Christina (8/5): - Easy check in and out| clean | quiet | great quality for cost of stay!
- VINGATARAMIN (6/5): - Personnel très agréable. Maulik a été très accueillant et disponible. En revanche, la chambre était vieillissante, les mûrs et portes étaient sales et la literie moyenne.
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Roger (7/5): Very loud neighbors in 2nd night. - No one was at or reachable from the Front desk for 44 minutes when we arrived.
- Trevor (5/5): Dirty, Smells, Cheap, You get what you pay for - It was cheap Room was not clean. Bottles, bowl, wrappers under beds. Kind of dirty. Smelled horrible in both rooms I had. Shower heads spray sporadically soaking the floor while showering, and has bad pressure and no direction so good luck washing your hair. There is no one at front desk, you have to call them on phone and then they come. It’s a cheap motel and I got what I paid for. I did not expect much better, but cleanliness is a MUST!
- Lisa (8/5): Practical & Budget Friendly - This was a bargain property. I was attending a concert and just needed somewhere to stay before and after and this suited and toot can’t beat the price. The only negative was that there is no closet or space to hang clothing. But it’s relatively clean and updated. It was no frills and the room was small and walls have some scuffs so they were a bit dingy BUT…the bed was super comfortable and overall, the while the stay wasn’t luxurious, it was certainly worth the price. I’d definitely recommend and stay again if I needed an affordable spot.
- Karen (6/5): Not the greatest stay - I had an 8 night reservation and my room was only cleaned the first night. I placed the card for the room to be cleaned 2 other days, but the gentleman at the desk told me he was too busy to get to it. There are only 10 rooms. I actually needed trash taken out and clean towels, instead i took my trash to a dumpster on site to get it out of my room. Also, you have to call them on your cell phone to get abyone to come to the office. I encountered 3 different times waiting for someone to recharge my key card. Its ok for one night stays, but not for extended stays. As a woman traveling alone I felt they didnt value me or my time.
- Carl (1/5): Bad -
- Khalid (1/5): Extremely RUDE staff - This place was a disaster from the start. I arrived and waited 15 minutes before I had to call, and the Indian guy finally showed up clearly just rolled out of bed with a terrible attitude. He was loud, rude, shouting, and refused my valid ID, demanding a passport for no reason. No other hotel has ever done that.
Then, hours after checkout, he had the nerve to text me accusing me of breaking a bathroom door in Room 5 even though I stayed in Rooms 4 and 7.
The Indian guy was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line.
- Herington (8/5): Very good - Person at front counter was polite and friendly
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (9/5): Eye mask required; great sleep, perfect staff! - Very pretty intentional design, to me. Some places don’t look as nicely taken care of as in photos. This place does. Super clean looking and feeling to me. Nice firm mattress comfy pillows, can get the room pretty darn dark, and nice soft color lamp for winding down. The outdoor outlet was likely 15A (vs 20A,) so no charging my vehicle overnight. (Not a big deal, outdoor outlet access is rare anyway, more of a way to wow when I return!)
The facilities list says desk and although there may be rooms with a desk already in it, I advise guests make sure to put in special instruction if needing one bc my room didn’t have one. but I didn’t end up needing one this visit, even though I would have I had got here earlier. (Maybe there’s a public space with one? Maybe they bring to your room if you ask….)
Finally, was a room I can make pitch black. I bring masking tape for led lights but the curtains did let 1% or so light through the edges. The phone lit up in the night, and stayed lit often. So eye Maks required!
- Donna (10/5): - Very clean, great rate and close to all. Staff is very nice,,one person is all I’ve seen but he’s on top of everything
- Bill (10/5): Wonderful stay, great value! - Five stars! Loved everything
- Iris (8/5): Very good - It was super clean, love that, bed & pillows a little hard but ok, near main strip of stores & tanger outlet. Comfortable overall. Thank you.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Very polite and helpful staff. Property is well maintained
- Stephanie (1/5): Do not reccomend. Will never stay here again. - One of the worst rooms and experience. Poor costumer service and poor overall cleanliness.
- Nick (6/5): Pleasant one night stay in Lancaster - Nice place for a one night stay. Easy to check in and beds were good. Had lots of ants in my room and there were so many surveillance cameras on each of the buildings, almost like they have double-ups of each zone.
- Fred (10/5): - Quiet and safe
- Audrey (9/5): Superb -
- Bev (10/5): - LIKE HOW CLOSE IT WAS TO WHAT I WAS DOING, STAFF NICE. ROOM CLEAN. NEEDS TO HAVE A COFFEE MAKER
- Stephanie (10/5): - This motel has been updated. Pleasant rooms, clean and helpful manager.
- Mascilli (9/5): Great value for an overnight stay - Updated. Convenient. Clean. Comfy. Great price for a quick overnight stay.
Right near the road but the traffic didn’t bother us at all. Outdoor tables. Microwave and mini fridge. No bathtub, shower only. And no coffee makers 😞. Right off highway.
- Keith (7/5): Good - Good price. Small room.
- Ashley (4/5): Disappointing -
- Leslie (5/5): Not terrible but definitely room for improvement with amenities. - The price; rooms were decent just for a single nights stay Rooms were very small; floor had several soft spots and beds/pillows were not the most comfortable.
- Bill (8/5): Very good - This motel isn't fancy but it was comfortable, clean, and a good value.
- Laborde (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (7/5): Good - Proximity to shopping great. Room clean, just a bit older. Ok place to stay for an overnight.
- Filiz (6/5): - Convenient, close to town, good price.
Non of the plugs were working in the room. I had to charge the phone in the bathroom.
- Nauzika (8/5): Very good -
- Irina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): A nice place to stay in a good location. - Nice and clean room. Good location. Everything was great. No complaints
- Gardner (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, quiet, friendly. Will definitely stay there again.
- Ann (10/5): - The young man who looked after us went beyond duty to make our stay so nice. Very personable and tried to meet all our needs. Can’t spell his name?
- Carlo (9/5): For the price you can’t beat it. The rooms have been upgraded. The guy running the place was very helpful. - For the price you can’t beat it. The rooms have been upgraded. The guy running the place was very helpful.
- Wendt (9/5): Superb -
- Martha (2/5): - Horrible not best condition at all
The bed is held up with 2x4 wood legs both beds , pictures included.
Mattress was hard on one and other I sunk in middle.
Extremely loud constant travel. Tractor trailers all night. No sleep.
- Kelley (10/5): - Great place to stay for a night. Bed was uncomfortable but very clean. Nice walk-in shower. Would stay again. Owner was pleasant to deal with. Close to shopping and restaurants.
- Norma (10/5): - Quite place friendly staff
- Dana (7/5): Good value for the night - Bed was comfy and fridge, microwave no extra charge The unit lacked hot water, never really got hot.
- Nithin (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): - Location
- Jeff (10/5): We had a wonderful time and would stay there again. - I love that the rooms were hard wood floors and very convenient location. There were no dislikes.
- Pert (1/5): Don't be fooled by the low price, unless you don't mind the truck stop like atmosphere. - The location in reference to where I needed to be. The front desk person was kind. The building is very close to the highway so the traffic sounds are heard throughout the night. The thread bare towels; the sliver of soap that was handed out; the non-working telephone; the lack of a desk; the only place to sit was on the very soft bed or on the single banquet hall style chair that was in the room near the bathroom; the individual cup coffee maker that was in the room, but not plugged into an outlet and there was no coffee. There was no ice bucket, but ice was delivered by the front desk person in a plastic bag when requested. This place is SERIOUSLY over-priced!!!
- Thomas (9/5): very good - nice gentleman at the check-in.
- LEONILA (10/5): - Property is small but clean. It’s worth the price. Staff is very nice and friendly.
I have a little issue with the room and he’s very nice to move us to another room which is more bigger and better than the one we had.
We will come back again for sure.
- Dianne (3/5): I won’t recommend not for a vacation - Location Very very very small room king size
No desk
No shampoo/ conditioner
Soap was so small I throw away bigger pieces of soap that what they had
Saw a bug in the sheet
Unfriendly host
- Lisa (3/5): It was very disappointing and not as advertised. - There was no breakfast at this site- The hotel was rated a 4 star on booking.com and 2 stars on the personal website of the hotel. The bedding had hairs on the sheets and undetermined fluid on the bed. We didn't stay the night due to feeling uncomfortable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Room good/check in unique - Room was good for just one night stay, clean and comfortable. Check in little unusual had to call phone number for someone to come to desk. Booked two rooms and had to register and pay separately for each room wouldn’t allow pay for both at one time.
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yvonne (6/5): - We had read previous reviews and expected a nicer place. Oi. No one was there to greet us at all. When they showed up they told us that check out was at 10 am. The board on the wall said 11. I asked if he was sure. He read the board and says, "ojay, fine. It's 11"
I've never seen a smaller room. The bathroom door didn't open all the way, there wasn't room. 2 small full size beds took up all the room.
Tiny bathroom with something running down the side of the vanity. I don't want to know what that was.
We won't be returning
