Guest Reviews
- Jai (10/5): - 5 star
- Russell (10/5): Thumbs up all round. - We had a great 2 nights there, the 3 musketeers (staff) were friendly, helpful and very good company. The food was very fresh and tasty.
If you are looking for a tour guide we would highly recommend Kim Dumulag, who was good company, knowledgeable and passionate about his people.
- Robert (10/5): Glad to visit again - A very different place to stay with superb views and ultra-friendly service from owners and staff alike.
Where I have given less than top ratings it is only in recognition of the reality; the accommodation is not in a purpose built modern structure, it is actually in native thatched huts where every effort is made to retain authenticity - so it's simply not possible to achieve five star comforts. That said, every effort is made to maintain comfort and cleanliness.
- Mark (10/5): - Amazing gem of a property. will be back!
- Merlito (2/5): - THE SITE IS CLOSED. I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT FOR DAMAGES
- Priscilla (10/5): A Wonderful Experience - We wish we could stay longer. Monina and her staff were friendly and accommodating. The place took me back to an earlier time, visiting the provinces, smelling the fresh air, and eating fresh food. We enjoyed the view of the cordillera mountains and mini rice terraces from their lookout. We even got to see fireflies the night of our stay. It was one of those places where a guest can pick up a guitar and sing; one did. I am taking my kids back to experience this.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is THE place to stay. Peaceful and beautiful views. Unique and comfortable lodgings and everything is so clean and spotless. The staff are so kind and helpful and the dining lodge with fireplace was the perfect place to relax.
- Peter (10/5): My favourite hotel in Luzon - I left the best to last. My final stop on a 3 week tour to Luzon was at the Native Village Inn in Banaue. By far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip. Very helpful owner and super friendly staff. Views to die for and a restaurant with ‘real’ bread. What more could you ask for. I wish I had discovered this place early, would have stayed for a week. Highly recommended
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great staff and service, I will recommend to others.
- andrew (10/5): I did not want to leave, I will be back!!! - This is one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. Very remote and quiet. Graham, mamma and the staff are perfect. The place is rustic and very rural and yet the toilets, huts and restaurant are 5* considering their position.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed 1 night at Native Village Inn in Banaue on our way to Batad. I was worried initially about the shared bathroom but I was happily surprised of how clean it was. There’s a disignated girl that’s always cleaning the bathrooms. We were happy with our stay and definitely would be back again.
- Emelita (10/5): Best Place in Banaue - This is my second visit in the property.
The place is quiet, clean and spacious.
The restaurant serve nice meals. The view is magnificent. The best place to stay in Banaue.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very beautiful
- Camilla (10/5): - If you want a beautiful mountain escape, this is your place. The pictures do not do the inn justice. The huts were rustic but very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous and the food was delicious and very affordable. We ate all of our meals at the inn. The views are incredible. Be prepared to share bathroom facilities with other guests because they are not part of your hut. Despite having shared facilities, they are numerous so we never had to wait for the shower or toilet. This is definitely the best place to stay while visiting the rice terraces.
- Kim (10/5): What a special and peaceful place - We had a great stay at the Native Village Inn. Everyone was very friendly, everything was super clean and the food was great. The experience was worth it and the views are breathtaking! Highly recommended!
- carol (10/5): Making an incredible experience even better - Everything about my stay was perfect! To be in this verdant historical place and fall asleep to the sound of frogs and insects singing was moving. If only mother nature had cooperated with a clear sky for star-hazing. The place is more like "glamping" than an inn. The individual houses are separate from the communal comfort station and dining room. The food is individually and carefully prepared. The guides are wonderful. One caution - if you have any mobility restrictions this may not be for you as the access to the rooms is a steep stairway and the separate comfort station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): =D - It was perfect ! The place is amazing with a majestic view ! The staff is so friendly, very polite and caring. Special thanks to Elvis who helped us with everything from transportation to organization of our precious time there. Also to his little brother Marvin who took us to Batad rice terraces and karaoking with the locals! It was just perfect !
- Donald (10/5): Best hotel in manilla - Everything was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. The location is amazing to hide away from the busy hustle and bustle of daily life in manilla. The staff were the most accommodating I have ever encountered. Will deff stay here again.
- Jon (10/5): Mindblowing location. - We turned up late and it was getting dark so couldn't really take in exactly where we were staying. We were met by lovely friendly staff who helped us to our accommodation. The traditional huts were just fantastic and when we woke in the morning we were just blown away with the beauty of this location, it's hard to put into words just how amazing this spot is. We were only supposed to stay for one night then head of to Vigan but just couldn't leave that soon and were luckily able to spend one more night here. Fantastic food, great staff, beautiful location, brilliant accommodation, loved every minute there. And the best bit of all, no TV, no Internet, no barking dogs or noisy vehicles, just silence and an incredible view.
- Kinneret (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Banaue - Great place to stay, the best view! Special huts, although the bathroom is communal it is spotless... great food and friendly staff
