• K (8/5): Nice hotel with good restaurant - Overall I quite liked this hotel! The interior is nice and the rooms spacious. The staff at the front desk were a little odd, but perhaps there was a language issue. The pool was nice, and the restaurant was good. One thing to note, while the room itself (and the pool) were very nice, the top level of the hotel was unfinished when we stayed... as in, the stairway led up to an uncovered roof with wires and planks, and at the top of the stairs was just a hole where a door should have been (as in, you could walk right off of the building!). The unfinished story should not affect most people's stay; just something to be aware of when traveling with kids..

• Richard (8/5): Ceylan Lodge - We were given a standard rather than deluxe room which they must have known. When we found out the cost was reduced to a satisfactory level.
• Mark (8/5): Friendly staff - When checking in they tried to give us double rooms only, rather than the triples that had been booked. We are a family of 5 so needed two rooms, especially as we have 3 children with us. We've had this issue at all the hotels in Sri Lanka that we have stayed in. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was nice.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - I've booked a room with balcony but initially received a room with not even a window. Asking for another room I was told they have no free rooms with balcony. I insisted and finally received such a room (with no curtains at the windows). Cleanliness and breakfast ok.

• ＮＩＮ名古屋 (8/5): バスターミナルから５分。美しい玄関とプール付き - バスターミナルから5分。中心地の時計台からも８分程度の新市街地にある。ホテル付近が湖に近いので小さなホテルやレストランが多くある。ホテル玄関前にも大きな美しいレストランがある。時折大音響で結局深夜0時まで続いた。ホテル玄関は平屋だが、ホテルは4階建て、現在それに５階を増築している。料金が安価な割には、朝食もしっかりしており、宿泊者が多いと、バイキング、少ないと個別にコンチネンタル朝食を準備してくれる。部屋からは中庭が見え、プールが見える。
• Wouter (6/5): Missed booking leading to poor room. - Although we booked 2 rooms only 1 was available. As a result we got 1 'other' room which likely is normally not rented out. No chairs/table, no tea-making, poor bathroom condition, Balcony with a view on a tree (coming in the balcony) and a trash area. Although they told they would add chairs and table, they never did.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - The service was exceptional, and the room was excellent. The bathroom was very clean, as were the linens. Our room had 2 balconies, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant had great food and at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend it. Even if you don't stay there, I would suggest trying the restaurant. It appears that they are still constructing the top floor though this did not cause any disturbance for us. I don't think any work was done on it during our stay.
