I'm suggest to fit at least a Air conditioning unit in the room for the rates being paid daily.

• Alma (10/5): Lovely studio apartment - Stunning ground floor studio apartment. Enjoyed the patio with garden view. The underfloor heating was a welcome surprise. Bed comfortable and loved the electric blanket. Very neat and clean studio. Will stay here again.

Fresh towels daily would have been appreciated. Bath water was lukewarm on Friday night, cold on Saturday, two of us couldn't even shower. Cleaner took our house keys by accident but then tried to blame me saying I left them in the restaurant, we never even went to the restaurant. Lights in the unit are really dim. Check out should have been explained to us, instead of me phoning to see where keys needed to be left.

Then Gerrit made our stay so homely, that even after my check out. He still gave me the time to use his premises/restaurant with wifi for a very important online meeting i had. • Raymond (10/5): Overall we had a wondeful time and will definitely book again. - Great location, we booked a table at the restaurant and massages at another place and were pleasantly surprised all these are next to Clarens Retreat and saved us a lot time. Also other shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The guests next door came back early hours drunk and mistaken our unit for theirs so they were loudly knocking (more like banging the door) trying to open the door which was uncomfortable but overall very happy with the place.
