Wie vor 50 Jahren in Deutschland. Habe mich an meine verstorbene Mutter erinnert. Armaturen und Spiegel werden kaum gereinigt. Zur Ansicht habe ich ein Video und Foto beigefügt. - Claire (10/5): Take Me Back immediately - Honestly cannot rate this place any higher if we tried. Everything was PERFECT. The beach was stunning. The island is insanely beautiful. The staff were great. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool was wonderful and right on the beach. There is the cutest coffee shop and cocktail bar as part of the resort. The breakfast options were endless!!! Amazing massage place at the entrance of the hotel, as well as a 7/11 right next to the massage place. Just beyond the 7/11 is a wonderful roadside cafe which we highly enjoyed. Only annoyance was drunk Russians playing loud pop music by the pool a couple of times. I think that shouldn't be allowed. (dont mind drunks or Russians btw. I'm, just aversed to loud music in such a paradise location - put on some headphones or party in your room).

- Michael (8/5): Wie in der Karibik - 2 Pools und direkt zum Strand. War sehr angenehm. Zimmer sind groß. Jeden Frühling gab es ein anderes Buffet. Roller gibt es im Hotel zu mieten. Das Zimmer wurde immer sehr sauber geputzt! Es gab kein Schweinefleisch. Das Bad in den Zimmer bräuchte einen Renovierung.

- Miguel (10/5): Beach front stay ina very calm bay. - The best thing about this stay is the location as it is beach front in a small secluded bay. The other thing is that the place is very open and not all rooms are together which makes you feel like you are very isolated. The restaurant is very good and the taste of the food is Excelent.

На пляже достаточное количество кресел и столиков, на которых можно разместиться в тени. У бассейна можно взять пляжные полотенца. Номера просторные с удобными кроватями. Нам понравилось место размещения сушили. Она стояла на балконе, куда выходил блок кондиционера, и поэтому все хорошо высыхало, что для ЮВА большая редкость. Уборка проводится каждый день, также ставится вода и кофе. В телевизоре мы даже нашли 1 канал на русском языке. На завтраке предоставляется большой выбор традиционных и тайских блюд. Персонал очень приветливый. Я отдыхала в этом отеле второй раз и нисколько не пожалела, что вернулась в него снова. Качество предоставления услуг осталось на высоком уровне. Нам на завтраке не хватило сладкой выпечки

- ClaudiavanV (7/5): Leuk hotel maar niet voor langere periode - Vriendelijke en beleefde ontvangst tijdens het inchecken. Ruime kamer met voldoende ruim balkon voorzien van 2 kuipstoelen en een tafeltje. Wij lieten wij niet elke dag onze kamer schoonmaken want als je er bijna nooit bent is dat overbodig. Elke dag hing er een tasje met flesjes water en een toiletrol aan de deurknop. En als er werd schoongemaakt dan liet dat wel wat te wensen over. Fijn dat er supermarkten en eettentjes op loopafstand zijn. Ontbijt is prima, voornamelijk Aziatisch maar er is ook brood en jam verkrijgbaar en er is een eierstation waar je omeletten, gebakken ei, scrambled eggs en gekookte eieren kan krijgen. Wij hebben hier een prima verblijf gehad al was het wat te lang maar dat is onze eigen schuld. Bedden zijn keihard. In de kledingkast zijn geen legplanken en maar 6 kledinghangers dus je bent min of meer genoodzaakt om je kleding in de koffer te laten. Geen dekjes op de harde ligbedden bij het zwembad. Handdoekenservice top! De klapstoelen op het strand zitten best comfortabel maar er mogen best ligstoelen met dekjes worden geplaatst. Geen parasols bij zwembad en op het strand. Op het strand kan je nog schuilen voor de zon onder bomen maar bij het zwembad is het niet uit te houden in die hitte zonder parasol. Geen prullenbakken op het strand en helaas zijn de meeste mensen te bedonderd om hun afval zelf mee te nemen. Weinig levendigheid op Koh Chang vergeleken met bijvoorbeeld Koh Samui. Nightmarkets zijn hier nagenoeg niet aanwezig, slechts 2. Het aanbod is voldoende maar niet heel ruim. Wat ik persoonlijk storend vond waren de verkopers van diverse artikelen op het strand. Elke dag weer en meerdere keren lopen ze langs.

- HONEY ROSE (10/5): 10 out of 10… service, food, facilities, staff kudos for a job well done! 😍🙏🏻 - Our overall experience was wonderful. At first, I was a bit off when we entered our room because the whole room stinks. The toilet is unbearable. Even after few attempts of cleaning and deodorizing, the smell never go away. And it makes me a bit upset. But thankfully, the reception moved us to another room which is so amazing that they upgraded our room type. Thank you for the fast resolution. I’m very happy after we moved to another room. The staffs, the facilities, and the breakfast is superb. I will recommend this resort to my friends and will definitely come back soon. 😊 Please unclogged the bathrooms drainage and clean the hair and molds in it to prevent it from clogging. I noticed that the drainage of the rooms are clogged so water in the bathroom cannot flow easily. Chances are during bath time, the toilet is flooding. Which makes us uncomfortable to shower. Also, the waste drainage in the economy rooms stinks. I think there’s a leak in the piping. Cleaning and deodorizing won’t fix the problem. Please check the piping to prevent further complaints in the future and to minimize further upgrading of rooms. Other than that, my stay is still memorable and I will still come back soon for my future vacation. 😉

- Petar (7/5): Overall happy - Location has almost everything someone would need in a walking distance. Staff are great. Rooms are clean! This was my second stay in the hotel and I would stay again when I’m back to Koh Chang Bed a bit too hard but that’s Thailand so I guess that’s something there is hardly running away from. Breakfast is a bit boring.

- Igor (8/5): Great - Great old hotel Right in the middle of the beach, there's a sewer pipe in the sand. It smells of hydrogen sulfide. At low tide, the wastewater is visible after it filters through the sand cushion.

- Izabela (3/5): Schlimmste Unterkunft auf Koh Chang - Direkt am schönen Strand. Allerdings leider gibt es dort Sandfliegen. Sehr sehr in die Jahre gekommene Anlage, nicht vernünftig gewartet Word. Ungepflegtes Gelände mit Stolperfallen und alten Lappen als Bodenmatte. Am ersten Tag hatten wir kein Wasser in der Dusche, es wurde dann repariert. Am nächsten Tag gab es wieder kein Wasser in der Dusche, uns wurde gesagt dass leider der ganze Block kein Wasser hat. Mit Hilfe von Booking.com haben wir ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Allerdings wurde uns zuerst ein Zimmer angeboten, dass sehr nach Schimmel roch, erst das zweite Zimmer im „superior“ Gebäude war ok und hatte sogar Blick aufs Wasser. Das Frühstück war schlecht und um 10:00 waren die Speisen bereits kalt und die meisten leer obwohl offiziell Frühstück bis 10:30 ging. Das Personal war nicht freundlich, Lächeln schien „verboten“ . Es schien Gäste unterschiedlicher Kategorie zu geben, während das Gepäck von manchen in Wägelchen ins Zimmer transportiert wurde, wurde uns keine Hilfe angeboten. Bei Ankunft mussten wir erst 500 Bath Kaution hinterlegen. Im Zimmer gab dann es eine zwei Seiten Information über die Gebühr für beschädigte Gegenstände. Man fühlte sich in der Anlage eher wie ein Eindringling als ein willkommener Gast.

- Monika (9/5): - I had a very positive experience at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room met my expectations. Overall, the place felt well-maintained and nicely organized. The location is excellent, and the beach is absolutely beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only area that needs improvement is the bathroom. It clearly requires some renovation, and there was an unpleasant odor, which slightly affected the overall comfort of the stay. Despite this minor issue, my overall impression of the hotel is very good.

- James (5/5): - The bed was comfortable. The Air con was freezing cold. Was quite on a night. The staff at desk was nice and helped you but only so much. The place is overrated. The breakfast is poor for a English person. No bacon No beans No scrambled egg No fried sausage. It is mainly and mostly thai food. The lady cooking eggs does not speak English, She cooks a dozen eggs at a time (un cooked slimey) and leaves to go cold. Omelette have a thai kind of mixture in them. I asked and she would not cook me a plane Omelette. Answer No No and shaking her head, doesn't speak or understand English but can say no no lol,, So I walked out and didn't return. I went out every morning to different places for breakfast which was nice. And i paid for this breakfast service on top of the room. I completed to desk staff and all i got was Sorry me sorry sir, was no offer of a refund! The bar at the pool was closed and looks like it as not been in use for a long time. The pool water was also dirty in colour and way way too much chemical and chlorine in it! The beach bar and food is triple and more in price to other places. And food is very small portions. You can not fetch beers from out side or buy from 7shop and drink on the beach but you can on your balcony!.. There dont like it and tell you to leave. There did with me!. Due to that there want you to pay 120 or 150bht for a bottle of beer of them. Also no draft pump beer. The fire show and after the show There come around with a bucket pestering you for a tip. And if you dont book a seat You will be lucky to get a seat. I was not told this and I worked this out myself! Then when i asked Sorry sir we fully booked! I noticed the same faces sitting in the same seats a few times, Not enough chairs on the beach. If you smoke you have to walk away out of site because there dont like it. But I saw staff smoking around the corner and its ok for them to do it. If you sit and watch the sea etc and dont want a drink, there come every 5 minutes with menu pestering you over buying a drink.

At nighttime when everyone was showering the shower would not drain. The toilet would gurgle air mostly at night. The beds were hard and old they were actually indented.

- Heidi und Heinz (6/5): Hotel abgewohnt und nicht zu empfehlen! - Ich habe im September 2025 ein Buchung für 2 Delux Zimmer mit Poolblick gebucht. Dabei habe ich explizit darauf hingewiesen dass beide Zimmer ohne Treppen sein müssen da unsere Partner starke Einschränkungen beim gehen haben (1xRollstuhl) Wir bekamen zur Antwort dass dies KEIN PROBLEM SEI!!! Was sich allerdings bei der Ankunft als Faustdicke Lüge herausstellte!!!! Bei der sofortigen Nachfrage hiess es man sei komplett ausgebucht!!! Die ganze Anlage ist in den 80 Jahren stehen geblieben und insbesondere das Badezimmer ziemlich abgewohnt!!! Uns hat ausser der Lage NICHTS gefallen!!! Ein billig Hotel das die besten Jahre schon lange hinter sich hat!!! Wir waren durchwegs enttäuscht und können das Hotel insbesondere älteren Gästen NICHT weiter empfehlen.

Nydelig rom Alle de ansatte er så hyggelige med unntak av ham som ansvarlig for håndklene. Han er så sur hver eneste dag, småkjefter litt på gjestene, og smiler IKKE.

Beliggenheden ved stranden er super og samtidig er der et udvalg af spisesteder langs vejen. At spise god mad fra restauranten på stranden om aftenen er super. Generelt virker alt en lille smule slidt.

Le buffet du petit déjeuner avec du choix autant en sucré que salé Hôtel vieillissant qui mériterait un rafraîchissement. Les allées ont des dalles qui ne sont pas plates, ce qui peut être dangereux. La décoration de la chambre et le mobilier sont vraiment dépassés. La salle de bains est en mauvais état : des joints refaits à la va vite, de la rouille, des odeurs d'égout dans l'évier, pas de place pour les produits de toilette.

- Vanessa (7/5): Zum ankommen in Ordnung - Personal super freundlich und wirklich bemüht. Lage zum ankommen auf Koh Chang gut geeignet. Schöne Atmosphäre am Beach zum Sundowner. Uns wurde bei unserer Ankunft ein Zimmer zugewiesen, was leider gar nicht den Bildern entsprach, abgewohnt, veraltet und gar nicht sauber ( Zimmer mit Poolblick ). Wir reklamierten umgehend und wurden sofort auf ein anderes Zimmer verlegt, mit Upgrade :). Man sollte beim buchen außerdem wissen, dass hier gerne Osteuropäische Gäste verweilen mit all ihren Vorzügen…( extrem laute Gespräche, Liegen reservieren 24 Std etc.) dementsprechend ist auch das Frühstück teilweise angepasst…

- Nadine und Daniel (9/5): Wunderbares Resort in toller Lage - Tolle Lage, schöner sauberer Strandabschnitt mit ausreichend Liegestühlen (Klappstühle). Zimmer geräumig, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten (selten in Thailand), tolle Terrasse zum Pool hin. Alles sauber und gepflegt! Wir haben wegen kurzem Aufenthalt von 2 Nächten auf Auffrischung des Zimmers verzichtet- trotzdem waren sie so lieb und haben Wasserflaschen und Kaffeesticks/Teebeutel an die Tür gehängt. Frühstück war super Abwechslungsreich, für jeden was dabei. Vor allem hat uns gefallen, dass es endlich mal Joghurt gab! Die warmen Gerichte waren ein Traum! Bett leider sehr hart, wie in Thailand üblich. Auf Grund der Sandfliegen soll man am Strand nicht direkt im Sand liegen. Die Liegestühle sind super, aber man kann sich leider nicht auf den Bauch legen zum sonnen. Richtige Sonnenliegen wären besser.

- Schönherr (9/5): Schöne Lage, sauber, entspanntes Resort, freundliches Personal. 🌴 - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Coconut Beach Resort auf Koh Chang. Die Anlage ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die tolle Lage direkt am Strand, das freundliche Personal und das gute Frühstück. Insgesamt ein entspanntes Resort mit sehr schöner Atmosphäre und gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
