- Oleg (9/5): - В номере было чисто, запах хороший,мне понравилось. Персонал дружелюбный. Спасибо за гостеприимство.
- Carol (4/5): Dangerous phone outage and electrical outage while showering with no communication from staff. - Halls had vinyl, not smelly carpet. Bed was comfortable. Towels were substantial. Housekeeper was delightful. Nice amenities - tub very nice but peeling paint above the tub surround. Power went off while showering. No phone service during outage(s). Using my cell, I called the office- no answer. Called Choice- got reservations only - no property assistance available AND answered by a robot. I requested a refund and was told by a bossy young woman they couldn’t help the weather. There was rain but it was inconsequential. I was also told it was a planned city outage. I asked for her manager and was told she was unavailable but her supervisor was called. I requested a refund and was told I could get a 50% refund because I had stayed the night and used the room. Then I was told I would have to request a refund from Booking. Before all of these things occurred, I wiped up water from the flooring which needed a deep clean as reflected by the dirt on the toilet paper. Couldn’t open soap for the shower.

- David (8/5): Good value for money. - Very good value for money. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Big fridge in room. Very lose to interstate highway. Gas right across the street. A few restaurants in town with reasonable prices. Cheerful staff. Breakfast was limited. Few or no hot options. But given the price, hard to complain. Only overhead lighting over the bed. One side of bed had no nightstand. No lamps by the bed, so lighting was all or nothing. If one person wants to sleep but the other doesn't the only option is a sleep mask, if you have one.
- G (4/5): - Unkept, dirty outdoor entryway. Several people loitering outside. Clerk was exasperated and basically announced I should be prepared to not have the two rooms I had reserved, even though they were reserved a week in advance.
My elderly parents are I had to wait until rooms could be "found"?
We were so glad to leave the next morning, we didn't even glance at the " free breakfast".
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was quite.
- ABH Paleorider (8/5): Excellent multi-night option - One could stay for a while in these rooms—basically a kitchenette in the two-queen beds. It is easy to get to off the interstate, with a gas station across the street. Rooms were clean and spacious, west side has epic sunset views. I was towing a trailer, and the parking was a bit jammed up. The breakfast was also pretty sparse, even though I think the ownership group was partaking of it as well. You're definitely driving to the awesome restaurant (Dish Room) on the other side of the interstate.
- Melani (9/5): Recommended for 2-4 night stay - Great location, clean room and pet friendly! Beds are softer than what we are used to. Ask for a firm mattress.
- Steven (8/5): -
- Cora (6/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very old and outdated rooms. Clean. AC did not work and very noisy
- Tammy (10/5): -
- Mary Ann (2/5): - Expedia overbooked room according to checkout staff. They did not have my reservation on file. 1 room was available. Room AC unit had loud whining noise that staff said was normal. Room was dusty and had previous occupant’s items in fridge and freezer. Evening staff did provide us with a fan and I helped her remove items from fridge and freezer. Do not recommend.
- Brooke (6/5): - It’s an okay place to stay.
- William (6/5): - Heavily used and mostly dirty.
- Hnutmiri (5/5): Glad it was only for 1 night. - Easy booking, easy to find, spacious room, nice kitchenette. Comfortable bed. The staff talked too much about their personal life.
The elevator was a little shaky. Our room had chair scrapes no the wall in the corner. The bathroom had laminate trim hanging off in a few places. No courtesy soap or shampoo .No doggy bags in the dog area... A bird nest inside the doggy bag holder.
The so called breakfast consisted of only cereal, a few bread selections. Not 1 guest stayed for breakfast. Very noisy air conditioner
- Dante (4/5): - Was told that my reservation was cancelled but I never cancelled the night front desk guy was very helpful but it was annoying that their was problems with our reservation and also the roo was good except for the AC wasn't working to well and was making a very loud and annoying noise
- Ellis (9/5): Superb -
- Corrinna (2/5): - Bugs, stains and smoke pipe for drugs found in our “clean” room
- Jill (1/5): Bad - Nothing, there was nothing to like. We couldn't wait to leave. We wish we hadn't made a reservation at all. If we wouldn't have been fined for a cancelation fee, we would have never stayed. There were people loitering in front of the hotel, smoking, drinking beer, and smoking pot at the entrance. There was only one entrance to the hotel and the parking lot was not good. The room had no lamps and no black out curtains. We were on the 3rd floor even though we had reserved a pet friendly room on the 1st floor. It was noisy and not pleasant at all. We would never stay there again.
We were woken up at 4:30 am from cars honking in the parking lot, and then at least 4 more times before 6 am. It was a horrible experience all around.
Also, we didn't feel safe in the room and worried about our car in the parking lot.
- Irena (7/5): Not a hotel I would consider on the way back - Room availability Facilities were incredibly dated the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. There was trash under the bed. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.
- Cheryl (8/5): - The property was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but not inspired.
- SHAWN (10/5): - Restored my faith in econolodges after a terrible experience.
- Mary (10/5): - We've hit 13 states in 11 days and this was the best hotel we've stayed in. Clean, very spacious and everything actually worked!
- Kyle (6/5): - Room was clean, sheets had a light stain on them, reserved double queen checked in and room was a single queen. Lady at front desk was great and was able to find us a room with 2 beds, overall decent place to stay
- S (10/5): Great Trip - Great Value - The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean. Will definitely stay there again when I'm up that way.
- Lynn (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Charlotte (8/5): - The property was clean and safe, and even had a fridge to give a nice small kitchen. The one problem was there were high winds outside and it caused the bathroom vent fan to make noise all night. The hotel was otherwise quiet.
- Raymond (10/5): - Very clean and friendly
- Amber (9/5): Friendly staff, prompt to fix issue - Guy at front desk promptly took care of our fridge issue The blind in 312 was broke so hard to get up and down. Fridge tripped breaker. Just needs new fuse the guy says
- Debra (8/5): - Ok stay for interstate hotel and pet friendly. Good for the price for sure.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cullen (8/5): - My wife and I were here for a night. Dog barking during the night in the hotel made it a little difficult to sleep.
- Erika (10/5): - Clean
- Vicki (10/5): - Convenient, clean, stayed before so knew to stay again
- Williams (8/5): Very good - It was friendly, relaxed, clean and accessible.
I enjoyed our night there. I especially liked the breakfast & coffee area lounge. It was homey. A good value. The room was a little cramped, we were a family of 4 so we filled it up. The beds were comfortable and things were simple, but clean.
- Issa (10/5): Exceptional - Good experience
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- KE (8/5): - We arrived late at night. The front desk staff is very caring and friendly.
- Tiffany (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was friendly
- Cyndi (6/5): - Clean, friendly service
- Isaiah (10/5): Always happy staying here - Comfortable
- cindy (6/5): - It was very convenient and clean when we had to stop unexpectedly. Got a good rate through Expedia. Front desk worker was nice and helpful
- GARY (8/5): - It was a place to stay when the highways were closed due to weather.
- Miranda (10/5): - The staff at check in was amazing! Friendly and super helpful!
- Debbie (10/5): Pleasant check-in during a crisis - My arrival here was due to a sudden closure of I-70 which resulted in many travelers to be immediately diverted from the interstate and seeking a place to stay. The check-in process was pleasant in what had the potential for being quite chaotic.
- Levi (4/5): - Bed was hard, blankets were extremely thin and room was cold. Heater made noise all night keeping us up.
- Julius (10/5): - Everything was great
- Billy (8/5): - The room was well used. Needs updated. It was clean but the heater was terribly noisy. They offered us a different room but its heater was worse. Overall not bad but not good either.
- Ford (5/5): Passable - They had a room in a snow storm with roads shut down Very noisy inside the room
- Parth (9/5): Superb -
- Thao (5/5): Passable -
- Kathy (10/5): - Very clean, breakfast was pretty slim. We were on the first floor, noise from the second floor was loud. I would stay again.
- Daisy (1/5): Room was not clean. The sheets were dirty and so was the comforter. Please look elsewhere. - Staff was nice. Only good thing about place.
- James (9/5): Great one night stay! - Easy to find and close to the interstate. All OK
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - We chose this cause of the price. And got it the same day. Didn't pay attention that it had a small kitchen in it when we got it. So we were surprised when she told us about it. It was very clean. Also had more tv channels then other places I have stayed at.So we will definitely be back. The breakfast was stuff that you can get from Sam's club or Costco. So really not that impressed. The bagels were a little hard but the toaster made them better.
- Martin (4/5): - The TV in my room didn't work and the internet wouldn't stay connected for more than 15 minutes at a time and that was super annoying as I wanted to catch a football game. I was only there one night and really just needed a place to rest, so it did the job.
They had two small pillows for the bed - I'm used to good pillows when I stay at a hotel.
They did have a microwave and a fridge and also a two burner stove, so that's nice when needed.
The room wasn't spectacularly clean - there were some hairs left behind. If I could do it again I'd go for the extra few bucks and stay somewhere nicer.
- Sarah (10/5): - Free breakfast (muffins, cereal, bread, is what I noticed. I just wanted the coffee) perfect for what it is, an Econolodge. Staff was nice. It was clean. The heater was a little loud but worked great. Could walk to restaurants in maybe 7 minutes. Large gas station across the street.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is amazing!
There has been a lot of detail added to the lobby and the place is always so clean. Pillows and beds are awful!
- Sergio (7/5): Good -
- Chuck (10/5): - No hot breakfast, but room was nice. Staff were excellent.
- rollingstoneman (10/5): A pleasant surprise - a VERY nice facility ! - We were VERY pleasantly surprised at the quality of this place. EconoLodges are the most basic of all the ChoiceHotels properties, and aren't always in top shape.
This place in Burlington right off I-70 is newly-refurbished, spic-and-span, and with every convenience. Even a stove and full fridge in the room ! Beds very comfortable, bathroom modern and well-equipped. The price was also VERY right.
Okay, so the free breakfast is a typical hit-and-run continental breakfast - but that's what many of us eat at home anyway, and also when on a cross-country trip.
We gave this place 5 stars, and are surprised that it doesn't get more 5's.
(A related note - the Casey's gas station across the road was pretty pricey for gas, so shop around.)
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional - Nice hotel!! Would stay here again!
- JOE (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Marina (4/5): Disappointing - It says full kitchen but the kitchen is not equipped. No pans, utensils etc…
- Cindy (8/5): - Easy, great
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Clean & comfortable Breakfast offering was pretty skimpy
- Amanda (7/5): Good -
- Jian (10/5): - The hotel is only 5 year old, It has all laminate flooring through out the unit. The room we booked was with a kitchen. It has a very big fridge which is just the regular apartment sized fridge. Location wise it is not far from highway but we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all. It was a great stay!
- Rhonda (4/5): Disappointing - It was quite It was not clean. There were dead bugs on the window seals and the room stunk of chemicals
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place!! Convenient and clean and lots of room space!!!
- Peggy (9/5): Great Owner and Front Desk Staff - The Owner of this hotel was so helpful and friendly! After a very long day on the road these people brought a smile to my face.
Will stop again on the next trip out west!
The lady from Champaign
- Rick (9/5): Superb -
- Randolph (10/5): - You get what you pay for.
Beds are a bit hard.
Room was clean but bathroom could use for care.
- Rachael (10/5): - Great place to stay. Easy to find.
- mike50401 (8/5): Basic and dated, but clean. - Nice place and the staff were friendly. Room was dated, but clean. It felt pretty basic for the price. Bed was rock hard, and only 2 pillows that were thin. Other than a little overpriced for the quality, it wasn’t bad. I would look around, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I can’t find a better price or more up to date/comfortable option. Clean is a huge plus.
- Tamra (10/5): - Exceptionally clean!!
- Neslen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Charles (8/5): It was just ok - Very clean and comfortable Advertised a hot buffet breakfast. No hot buffet or fruit, not happy!
- Thomas (10/5): - The hotel staff were amazing
- deonarine (10/5): - Best Econo lodge I’ve ever seen. Top notch
- Judy (8/5): Very good -
- Dixie (7/5): Good place to hop off the interstate and spend the night - The furnishings were a little plain and outdated but well maintained and clean The town must be close to a feedlot cause the whole town smells
- Jeff (10/5): - For the $ I was pleasantly surprised. Furniture and room in very good condition.
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing stay!! - The gal at the front desk made my stay amazing! she is super sweet, and I loved chatting with her. The hotel is nice, clean and comfy!
- Mario (10/5): - Very good
- Tom H (8/5): - I liked the small kitchen in the rooms we liked the room it seems like a Motel rather than a Hotel the mattress underneath was dirty and the window blinds someone could look in the room we were on the first floor but it’s an older hotel but it was quiet and the price was reasonable
- Nancy A. (10/5): - Clean convenient.
- Tamara (10/5): - Nice
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Kirill (8/5): - My only complaint is that Continental breakfast only included bagels and such with coffee, no hot food. Otherwise it's been great, the room was very clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
