- Michelle (10/5): We love our stay in the villa and we hope to come bac - It is peaceful and the view is superb. The way going to the villa is a bit tricky.
- Robert (10/5): - Location & views!
- Robert (10/5): - Location & views!
- Katie (8/5): It’s a very nice resort and we enjoyed our stay. - The area is lovely and quiet and peaceful. Staff were very nice and friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious We stayed in the master suites and in the mornings and night we could hear people walking across the patio above us very clearly. Heating in the room isn’t very well set up to heat the room evenly so it was cold. A smart tv in the room would be perfect so guests could log into their Netflix etc if they wanted to chill and watch a movie. The restaurant closes at 8pm so there’s no where else to get food in the area after 8pm.
- Brian (9/5): Lovely destination spot with a great restaurant. - Nice room, although configuration was a little unorthodox with a pillar in the middle and no lights at one end. The view is terrific. The dinning in restaurant was superb. Wait or was perfect. Attentive but subtle. Eventually this place will need some Reno’s and an upgrade.
- john (10/5): We’ll be back! 🏴🏴 - Location to Victoria and where we wanted to be! Absolutely nothing!
- Natalie (8/5): Nice out of the way stay - Location

- Paul (10/5): - We chose the Eyrie as our hotel destination after our wedding at a nearby location. Being that I’ve been to the location several times as a guest at events held there and have experienced the friendly, professional and accommodating staff on many occasions the choice was an easy one. We had been gifted a certificate to The Eyrie which we utilized in Alpina restaurant on site (although the price for items considering it’s a Michelin star trained chef were VERY reasonable)! Plus the views!!!!! There’s little to not like about this place however one very minor thing we noted was a creaking noise we heard throughout the night which wasn’t from our room but we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.
- Chris (10/5): Peaceful stay, exceptional staff, delicious food. - Dog friendly, clean, gorgeous views. NA
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Gary (9/5): Lovely. Just wish there were elevators - Everything but especially the beautiful rooms and views The stairs are BRUTAL. We couldn’t stay in the room reserved because there were too many stairs for my broken hip but the staff found me another room that only had two staircases!
- Kurt (9/5): -
- Nordia (10/5): Exceptional, my new favourite hide away - Loved how friendly and accommodating everyone was. From our surprise room upgrade to the having the shuttle. It was my and my maid of honour bday so we wanted a little get away. We decided that we will be coming back every year. Beyond happy. Thank you Mike and everyone for making our stay so enjoyable It was perfect
- Neil (9/5): - Booked last minute and loved it
Great view of the surrounding area
Staff was super and room was beyond our expectations
- minghui (9/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Fantastic! - Loved it N/A
- Debra (10/5): Birthday getaway - View & cleanliness & staff includes restaurant
- Emmie (9/5): - This resort was in a very calming relaxing environment. It was very clean. The restaurant was excellent and the view was amazing, Location. We understood it was 25 min drive from airport. It was actually a 45 to 60 min drive.
- Firouzabadi (9/5): -
- Jessie (10/5): - Friendly staff, well maintained property, stunning view of the inlet from the balcony, made my birthday stay extra special by having a birthday card and chocolate for me in the room
- Isabel (10/5): -
- Liby (10/5): Amazing property, high standard spacious rooms, lovely staff, highly recommend! - The setting of Villa Eyrie was absolutely gorgeous; it wasn't too far from Victoria, which made it easy to drive to. We stayed in one of the master suites with a large jacuzzi bath. It was the perfect feature to relax in after a long day! They've got a spa and restaurant, which looked lovely, but we didn't get a chance to try them out. 100% would recommend! The entrance was a little confusing, we ended up going in the service entrance, but it didn't change the overall experience
- Simone (10/5): -
- Steve (10/5): -
- Filipe (6/5): Good side: large room with jacuzzi. Not so good: no acoustic isolation in rooms, no pool, no restaurant or room service - Room was really spacious and clean, BUT (and that’s a HUGE BUT) there is NO ACOUSTIC ISOLATION between rooms. We could hear all the noises coming from room above (from simple walking steps, to bathroom, cleaning staff, etc.). It was extremely frustrating for someone who was looking to relaxing spa-like place for the weekend. We got no satisfactory sleeping time, which is first concern for someone who is trying to relax!
Having a hot tub in the room was nice too! But guess what?! Upstairs hot tub woke us up by 8 AM in some days! Ow….and there is no pool in the property. They said there was a pool, but it was removed for some reason. So don’t trust any ads showing pools.
Finally, restaurant closes before 9 PM. And you gonna be in an isolated area. So, if you prefer dining late, prepare to drive some km’s till you find an good opened restaurant, cause this resort does not offers any option (not even room service) after 8 something PM. No acoustic isolation for rooms. No pool. No restaurant after 8-9PM.
- Jenny Shu-I (10/5): - Magical and Serene!! Surrounded by beautiful BC nature and wildlife!
Master suite is gorgeous, bright, spacious with beautiful view. Amazing Amenities, especially with the jet jacuzzi in the middle of the room! Feel So Blessed and Grateful to Stay there!
At Alpina restaurant, you got to enjoy delicious food while watching eagles soar above the water! Sensory overload! 🤩
The BEST Part about Villa Eyrie are the People Who work there! I told them that we are there to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, so they made the stay extra special with rose petals all over the bed and jacuzzi, made a beautiful swan and gifted us with chocolate!
Thank you Baylee for your loving thoughts & your uplifting energy
Alpina, Graham blessed us with his fun energy and generosity, and special celebration 🍨
Also shout out Sebastian and Noah at Alpina for your smile and amazing service!
Thank you so much! I am very touched and will definitely return again and again! ♥️♥️♥️ Nothing
- john (8/5): - Helpful staff, good location, lovely views from room, excellent food. The layout of the adjoining room meant that the shower in that room was immediately adjacent to the bed head in our room. We were woken on two days by very 6 am showers; disappointing.
- MARCUS (10/5): -
- Alajmi (9/5): Great view and great staff. Good getaway. - Nice place and view Small bathrooms. Changing beddings not done every day.
- Butler (9/5): Refreshing and relaxing - Beautiful location
- Brian (10/5): -
- Stephanie (9/5): Room with a view, massive tub to relax and of my favourite restaurants - We stayed for the restaurant. This is my favourite place for a date night and this time we decided to stay the night. Room had a beautiful ocean view
- Gail (10/5): Great place for a relaxing stay. - Everything was wonderful, location, views, room amenities and staff. The restaurant served excellent food .

- hassett (8/5): Pleasant - The food was very good the bed was very comfortable Our stay was pleasant but we were very disappointed that it was advertised with pool facilities but had no pool and the staff said they hadn't had one for two years if we had our grandchildren with us we would have left
- Parker (10/5): Great experience. - Amazing view from room. Fantastic onsite restaurant.
- Nathalie (10/5): Exceptionnel - Tout est merveilleux Rien
- marika (10/5): Exceptional stay!! Highly recommend - The room was amazing especially the bathtub in the middle of it!! The views of the mountains and ocean were stunning. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the dinner we had was outstanding! The could have some throw blankets in the room. The fireplace didn’t work very well.
- Lena (10/5): - Absolutely amazing place. People , food is the best .
- Greg (10/5): -
- Anan (10/5): -
- Wayne (7/5): - Room was very cold and windows were open when we arrived, took a while to warm up
- Amanda (8/5): - Beautiful view, beautiful location smelt very nice when I walked into the lobby. Would definitely come again. Hopefully to experience other facilities in the Villa. As my stay was just short due to my daughter's volleyball tournament
- Chris (10/5): -
- Hannah Lynn (10/5): Amazing resort with very accommodating staff. Must stay! - The views and the room were amazing. The restaurant was very pricey.

- Edith (7/5): - The breakfast was absolutely delicious and lots of it. Our room was clean and views amazing. However the bed was on the small side for a couple (my husband is 6’2” and a little on the hard side, thus not the best sleep. The food and services provided by the staff were great, including location were perfect for us.
- Vyacheslav (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent
- Gloria (9/5): a Very relaxed time. We will be back. - The room, view and staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. The dinner was mixed. The kale salad was very good, but the mussels dish was rather insipid and no bread was served with it to sop up the sauce. After we asked for bread they kindly brought us a pumpernickel type of bread that was not appropriate.

- Marion (9/5): We enjoyed our stay despite the room being disappointing and we would return. - Beautiful setting, excellent staff, outstanding food! Clean. Christmas decor was lovely! Our room was narrow and is needing upgrading . Bureau with drawers is worn. Pictures don’t fit the room. Balcony chairs tired.
- Francis (10/5): Pleasant and peaceful with mountain scenery - Cute bedside treats, fantastic coffee. Helpful friendly staff, beautiful views Noisy AC
- Holly (10/5): A rejuvenating and relaxing couple’s experience at a hidden oasis with amazing views & great people - Firstly, we loved the staff. Everyone we talked to there was incredibly personable and fun to talk or laugh with, and they were so thoughtful and accommodating. I had mentioned before our stay that our trip was a surprise for my husband’s birthday and we arrived to a “Happy birthday” note with a couple small boxes of cookies, and we were given complimentary birthday champagne with a small treat after dinner at the restaurant, courtesy of the resort. Our room had amazing views and was extremely comfortable, relaxing and clean, and our (quiet) dog stayed with us and spent most his time laying on the wrap-around patio “surveying his kingdom.” We had dinner and lunch at the restaurant while there, and both were exceptional. I’d say the dinner ranks as one of the top five meals I’ve ever had; the roasted beet salad was so good I ordered it for lunch the following day. The servers were amazing and we enjoyed our time talking with them. We are thinking of making this an annual tradition, but with a longer stay in the future. I highly recommend a two night stay; that’s what we’ll be doing next time anyways! That we didn’t stay longer
- Scott (9/5): - Amazing views, lovely accommodations. Greek columns around the jetted tub make the space appear dated. Otherwise it is fantastic.
- Kathryn (6/5): Good but missing a lot of updated facilities.very lacking in fundamentals - Very scenic. Good dining Excellent spa No elevator no check in services such as a dolly for luggage no covered area for drop offs. No handicap ramps. No pool
- Kristina (10/5): Worth the money, we will stay again :) - Everything was wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff. We loved the size of our room, fjord view, jetted tub in the room, nice to relax and watch a movie. Modern bathroom. Nice welcome gift box with Christmas treats.
We also had a pleasant dinner at the restaurant and our server Bella was lovely! Bed too soft for my liking.
- Herrmann (9/5): Very enjoyable - Excellent dinner and breakfast Would be nice to have gowns in rooms
Restaurant was quite cold
- BEVERLEY (10/5): Can hardly wait to go back - Our "anniversary" dinner was superb with special little desert treats at the end. The waiter was delightful! My husbands mussels were good but he felt they could have been fresher...
- Allan (9/5): Excellent experience. Would stay here again. - Room, restaurant, location. Very pet friendly. Views obscured by clouds… obviously no fault of the resort, but something to consider if booking in winter.
- Adam (10/5): -
- Island (8/5): Great getaway for me and my partner - The staff were very kind and the beds were very comfortable. I don't like the coffee maker in the room.
- Anthony Roy (9/5): -
- Lindsay (9/5): Very relaxing and romantic - Very elegant and staff was extremely pleasant. Room was huge and comfortable. The big soaker tub didn’t hold water for very long, has a slow leak. The price of wine at the restaurant was outrageously expensive. $16 for 6oz glass but $30 for a 10 oz ( and that was the least expensive.)
- Nathalie (10/5): Parfait - Tout Rien
- Valeriia (8/5): -
- Harold (9/5): Stunning - Great room, large bathroom, very clean, amazing view. Nothing
- Abdoul (10/5): - La grandeur de la chambre
- Ovid (10/5): - The room the incredible view ease of check in v enjoyable stay. Only the slightly slow process having to register for breakfast and dinner and having to wait each time for someone to show up when there were many empty tables.
- Pat (10/5): - Helpful friendly staff, very comfortable room with exceptional view, excellent food. Arriving in rain with luggage at reception only to find out we needed to take our luggage back to the car and go to a different building. However staff was most helpful and pleasant - offerred to help take our luggage back and directed us to our room.. it is also not convenient to go to the dining room in the rain - but it was great to have parking right by our room and right by the dining room. Your good setup and wonderful staff makes things much easier during the rainy season.

- Megan (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, delicious! - The Alpina Restsurant in particular was outstanding!
We also really liked the tub in our room. And the sun deck was fantastic! We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance of our building due to lack of signage.
- Alan (9/5): -
- Alina (8/5): - Our room had a beautiful view — we could see the city lights right from the window! The room itself was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, with great presentation and friendly service. Overall, it was a perfect experience — highly recommend! 🌟 The hotel itself was nice, but the location was a big issue. You definitely need a car — there are absolutely no taxis available in the area, and the hotel doesn’t offer any car service or transportation options. It was really inconvenient and made getting anywhere very difficult. Wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have your own vehicle.
- harold (10/5): - Four of us went up the hill for a wonderful night away and loved every minute. Dinner was excellent, our room had a beautiful view, and breakfast was fantastic. Taylor in the restaurant and Conrad at the bar and as host were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The whole team made us feel right at home. The property’s setting and views along the inlet are stunning. We’ll definitely be back!
- Kim (10/5): -
- Brian (10/5): - The Villa Eyrie is a wonderful retreat with great staff and fine rooms with great views. We were disappointed to find that there was no longer a swimming pool.at the resort. I understand this was removed to allow for and expansion of the conference facilities. Unfortunately this does limit your resort facilities to attract non-business guests such as ourselves and friends who recently visited. Hopefully, there may be new facility additions in the near future.
