• GM (10/5): - This is a spacious, super clean apartment in a great location. The host was very responsive and helpful, especially with parking (a challenge in Ortigia.) The apartment was very well appointed and in a quiet location just one street from the main areas.

Si trova nel pieno centro di Ortigia, a cinque minuti a piedi dal Duomo. Nei pressi, c'è un caro ma comodo parcheggio con tariffa giornaliera.

• Church (10/5): Excellent apartment and location in the heart of Ortigia - Good size, and very comfortable yet cosy apartment a few minutes walk from the heart of Ortigia. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and cooking basics. The host very kindly left us a bottle of wine, comprehensive instructions and helped with parking recommendations. The host did originally try to get us to pay extra for having the sofa bed made up which wasn’t advertised before booking but did waive this fee when this was pointed out. The hot water tank isn’t huge so we did have to space out showers.

• Livia (9/5): Comfortable staying in Ortigia centro - Perfect location, few steps from the duomo, apartment well equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Bed is comfortable ( slightly soft for our taste). Shower good (door could be repaired). Easy check-in and good communication from owner. Kitchen well equipped even for longer stay. Air conditioners, also useful for a bit of heating in January evenings. The entrance hall and staircase to reach the apartment. Apartment is a bit dark at least during winter season, it may be an advantage during summer.
• Colin (10/5): Excellent apartment. Excellent location. Brilliant! - The apartment has everything you could need. They seem to have thought of everything and then supplied it. The location is superb, right in the heart of the wonderful old town of Ortigia. The air conditioning was a God-send and worked wonderfully. We would have liked an outside balcony to sit at, and with a nice view, but it is a modernised apartment in an old building in a great location, and we couldn't have everything [although Gianluca tried!].
• Paul (10/5): Talia Ortegia was a fantastic accommodation for our week in Ortegia. Everything met our needs. - The location was the best feature of this flat. Secondly, for a long stay, this was a perfect unit. Everything was provided in great condition and as expected. The host was communicated well and promptly. The entryway is a little less than awesome, but don't let that bother you, because the location is the best.

• Rod (10/5): The perfect apartment for a short stay in Ortigia. - Great location with easy access to transport (taxi dropped us right at the appartments) and all activities; even walking! Quiet area on a busy island. Very well presented and appointed apartment; spacious and comfortable. Good information provided by owner who has considered the guests every need. Nothing except we would have liked to stay longer!!

Isolé des bruits de la ville Les hôtes ont étés très gentils et très réactifs à nos demandes et questions. Nous les remercions pour leur aide précieuse. Seul petit bémol, il n'y a pas de vue de l'appartement, mais quand on passe la journée à visiter, ce n'est pas un problème. Mais c'est un petit cocon très agréable et tranquille.

• Trent (10/5): Amazing apartment- location, cleanliness and host 10/10 - Could not rate our stay any higher. Location was amazing, apartment was modern, clean and had all the amenities you could need. The owners were very responsive to messages and super accommodating with check in and out times. We stayed with a baby and they provided a cot and high chair. We had all the utensils and condiments needed to cook meals for our baby. Bed was really comfortable. No complaints at all

Gianluca poi è davvero gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissima! Purtroppo la carta igienica non può essere gettata nel water ma è un problema che riguarda quasi tutta Ortigia
• Zinnia (10/5): Talia Ortigia Apartment is a home away from home. - Communication with Gianluca before check in and during our stay was quick and responsive. We were met by Gianluca and able to drop off our luggages before check in. The house itself had everything we needed during our stay. The location was just inside Ortigia so it was close to all the food places, historical sites and amenities as well as being quiet and away from the busyness of the centre. It is equipped for long stays.

No noise, the bed was so comfortable I could have taken it home. The owner is great and gives information about places, restaurants... On the first night arriving in the dark with his perfect directions for parking the car. The location is perfect for exploring Ortigia. There are spectacular places and restaurants on the doorstep without having to take the car. We were delighted. Nothing

The location near the the Marina Port and the historical center of Ortigia is adorable. The rooms are bright and spacious. The equipment is flawless. During the night you may relax on very comfortable beds. And the hosts are perfect. Gianluca answered to every question within some minutes. Very helpful. I think we will come back someday to enjoy this sublime accomodation once again. -

• Lesley (10/5): Perfect location & spacious apartment - Beautifully appointed and sparkling clean apartment, many thoughtful touches. Fridge, freezer, washer, beach umbrellas, smart TVs w Netflix in bedroom and lounge. Capsule coffee, kettle, moka, toaster. I think I even saw a waffle maker! Spacious and comfortable and in a perfect location to explore Ortigia. Comfortable memory foam bed with choice of pillows for folks who like flat or fluffy ones. Located just along the west side of the island along the water where you can take a short stroll and watch the sunset having an aperitivo in one of the many restaurants nearby. I’d happily stay here again. For those with mobility issues there are some stairs but it’s only on the first floor (one up from ground floor) and not too difficult. There are some requirements to take recycle and separate the different types of trash to the curb outside the front door in the evening and collect the small bins and bring them back to the apartment in the morning- this is common in many places here.

Very well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment right in the centre of Ortigia close to all the shops, restaurants and happenings but as just off the main streets was quiet and private. The apartment was tidy and had all amenities; The host( E-Host) was very helpful and had answers to all our questions! Everything was super great! But i advise you not to Come by car as you wont be needing it and you will end up paying 20€ per fay for the nearest parking... No free spaces available thats for sure!

Gianluca met us and showed us the nearest parking, and when we had a small problem with the shower, he sorted it out very quickly. We had a very enjoyable few days.
• Anne-sophie (10/5): Well-equipped apartment in a stunning location - Excellent location! Despite being very popular with tourists, Ortigia has somehow managed to keep an authentic, tasteful vibe. The apartment had everything we needed as a family including a washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of (good) coffee! There is a little corner shop nearby for necessities and the standard of food was very high everywhere we went. We would love to go back in summer. Once on Saturday night there was loud music on the street that woke us up (we had left the bathroom window open) but this didn't happen on the other nights. A few more hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom would be nice, but that's nitpicking...

An extensive guidebook on all areas of interest in Ortigia on the table. Talia Ortigia is located in historical centre which is perfect, but finding parking was rather time consuming and complicated. However Gianluca was very helpful in solving this issue.
• Poghosyan (10/5): Great place to stqy in Ortigia - Everything. The best in Sicily to stay. Nice location to stay in Ortigia island. Gianluca was great and heloed us with everything we needed even we had a chance to leave our luggages ealrier and go for lunch.
• Mikko__ (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was the most clean, well thought/designed and simply beautiful. Everything works and is in very good condition. The hosts really made an effort to make sure we had the perfect stay and we did! Also the location was very good. Lots of cafes and restaurants and a supermarket just around the corner. We could park the rental car not too far away (~100 m) at the nice seaside parking at the port and it's just a slight uphill to the apartment from there which was no problem at all. Grazie mille!

The location was excellent, as it enabled us to see the sights of Ortigia but also to walk the 2 kms to Siracusa Neapolis. The gelato up the street is great. The location couldn’t be better. It is at the center of everything in Ortigia but a quiet oasis that is truly relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at Talia Ortigia apartments. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was very covenant to have a washing machine and clothes drying rack. Every detail was thought of and taken care of for us.

• Anica (10/5): Fabulous time in Ortigia - Spacious and renovated apartment in the very heart of old Siracusa - Ortigia island. Excellent amenities for short or longer stay: queen size bed - very comfortable, enough pillows, washing machine and dishwasher, iron, large tv screen and three! kinds of coffee makers (Italians take their coffee very seriously :)) Communication with owner Gianluca was smooth and easy, he greeted us on arrival and even left a bottle of local wine as a compliment. Everything very clean, and the place was quiet at night although it's two steps from the main restaurant strip of Ortigia. The town itself is a treat, very beautiful with the narrow streets and the grand baroque square of Minerva. The entrance of the building is not looking good but don't let this discourage you. Once you step through the door Gianluca's apartment is immaculate.

The apartment was spacious, perfect for 3 of us, very clean and communication with the owner was excellent. All appliances, including washing machine were available. Highly recommend.

One thing I do love about Italy is the welcome gift, which in this case was a bottle of Sicilian wine. just a nice touch. Our host gave us heaps of advice on what to visit and was so accommodating. we had a fabulous stay here. there was nothing to dislike

It was useful to have a washing machine along with the usual appliances. Very happy with all the extra information provided by the host. We went to the recommended bars and restaurants which were also excellent value and quality. Nothing at all...
