Two rooms, two beds but no door between, somewhat odd but not an issue for myself as i was travelling by myself. Unfortunately the state of the silicone in the shower if far from acceptable, this needs to be dug out, mould treated and redone. Location is great with the beach walk just across the street and the penguin habitat only a few hundred metres away

The lady on Reception was lovely; the apartment was large with a very comfortable and large bed, spacious living/dining and a full kitchen. A little concerned that the room was above the bar but the music quietened down around 10.30 and didn't hear customers after 10.45. Staff at reception and lounge were friendly and helpful. We opted to have our continental breakfast in the room - very good selection including gluten free bread and cereal. Evening meal at the lounge bar was exceptional, especially the chicken parmigiana with gluten free pasta.

• David (8/5): Modern, comfortable and well located - Room was excellent, very modern comfortable with continental breakfast provided. Having a balcony overlooking the ocean was wonderful. An appreciated extra was an EV charger enabling me to wake up to a fully charged car in the morning. We were extremely happy but around 10.30 pm we suddenly were bombarded with loud music with thumping drums and bass. This continued until 1am which made it very difficult to sleep. I went downstairs to find the hotel was almost empty and couldn’t find a staff member, nor the source of the music. I assume it was coming from another room but there was no one to report it to. This prevented us to give five stars to the Hotel which otherwise was excellent and well equipped and comfortable.
• Kylie (8/5): Surprising! - Don't judge a book by its cover is very true - I wasn't sure when I pulled up, but the rooms were fantastic. Recently renovated and had everything you could expect and then some. Bathroom was amazing. Room rate ncluded a continental breakfast delivered the night before to my room. This was ideal for me as I had to leave before breakfast started in the restaurant. Only negative - no lift so if you have mobility challenges not the most suitable as all rooms up one full flight of stairs. The pub offers a great meal as well.

• Paul (8/5): - We had a huge room with a balcony. The staff were really friendly and the place was clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and the cafes with a beautiful board walk to go along. Breakfast continental was complimentary and if you want anything else it was paying, simple and nice breaky. One downside was the pub underneath the stay which did create a little noise,, but we were tired enough that it didnt bother us on our 3 night stay. Overall l would recommend this property and we will be going back

Only complaint is that the restaurant can get quite loud sometimes and be heard through the floor. But not a big deal, and you can hear the ocean waves when it’s quiet.
