• An (8/5): - Comfortable bed and bathroom, nicely decorated. We booked a loft without terrace at the Street side. I am certain the ones with terrace are much nicer and also more quiet. Great restaurant in the Same Street, 2 minute walk. I did not like Castro as it's very noisy with constant traffic. There are much nicer rural areas on the island. But the loft was great!

Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit draußen am Meer zu sitzen.

Además nos permitió hacer check out más tarde y eso siempre se agradece mucho Todo es perfecto!

• Kathryn (9/5): A lovely apartment with a balcony and in a great location - Staying in the palafitos was amazing- we had a balcony with amazing views, the apartment was lovely. Cooking facilities were good. A unique place to stay. Gym nearby does play music but this didn’t bother us too much. Negatives- on the expensive side- they charged us tax which is usually for residents and not visitors from abroad. I did query this but was told it was because it was an apartment and not a hotel? We decided to pay anyway as it was only 2 nights in a great location but would appreciate more transparency about this.

• Juan (9/5): Magical Palafito Experience - Our family had an incredible stay in the Palafito. The views of the bay were breathtaking, and the peace and quiet were absolute. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable beds. It was a magical way to celebrate the New Year! To improve waste management, I recommend implementing separate bins for recycling (plastic, glass, paper, etc.). This would make it easier for guests to recycle and reduce the hotel's environmental footprint.

Viviana vicuña, the administrator is a lovely and very friendly person, ready help us at anytime, even she gave us a taxi driver recommendation And everything went just great. Nice palafito experience The rooms didn’t have proper windows, that was a shame. And the place was expensive enough-from my perspective- to have a washing machine. But I guess it’s a matter of space. Small but cosy anyway. The shower a bit uncomfortable.

• Sydne (10/5): Exceptional - This place is such a vibe - cozy, yet super spacious and comfortable. One of our favorite places we stayed at in Chile. The sea view deck was such a nice place to sip on a beer and relax. Close to yummy restaurants too!

It was tricky toorganise and we ended up ahving to wait quite a long time for the lady to arrive to hand over the keys. there's a gym close by so teh music from it interferes with the lovely tranquil spot this property enjoys. Otherwise everything else is idyllic
• Hedvika (8/5): Looks great and it Is quite comfy - The apartment is spacious, centrally heated (HUGE advantage in the cool weather we had), well and tastefully equipped. I especially appreciated the damask sheets in the bed. It is a 10-minute walk to the town center. We had views towards the road (no sea view), but there was no noise from the street. The infomails we received sounded a bit strict (a lot of rules, dos and don'ts), but in the end the staff was really friendly. A bit difficult to reach, though - the opening hours of the reception desk are limited.

• Chung (10/5): Beautiful view, excellent location~ walkable to all the great locations in Castro. - This is such a beautiful place located in the most exquisite zone of Chiloé. The staff were all so very friendly and eager to share their best insider’s information on places to visit and to eat. Nothing. Everything was superb. I was so happy to stay here, especially because we had so many rainy days and the rentals had ran out of cars!

• Elaine (9/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - The Apartment was well-equipped and in a great location. It was a good size for a couple and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it highly. We were given very good tips on restaurants by our hosts who were very responsive. There was no window that could be opened in the bedroom (just a skylight window with no way to reach it in order to open it) so it was very hot. The room was equipped with a fan which we used to good effect so this is a minor issue. It would have been nice to have some cloths in the kitchen for cleaning dishes more effectively but again, this is a very minor issue.
• Clemente (7/5): The hotel was very nice and very comfortable, the staff very friendly - Very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. There wasn’t so much light in the back of the apartment. The town (Castro) is not nice and gives you a sensation of insecurity. Houses, streets and building are not well preserved, and it’s dirty everywhere. In general, if you go to Castro you should rent a car to visit the island, which is very beautiful. In Castro itself there isn’t so much to do and it’s not nice.

• Lynn (6/5): - The apartment itself is quite lovely. The view is very nice and reasonably located near restaurants. Parking is on the street. The major issue with this hotel is noise. It is adjacent to a gym that plays loud music with a heavy bass from 7 am to 11 pm. Waking up to this on vacation is unavoidable. There is no escaping it. Between 11 am to 9 pm the gym music is drowned out by the loud music from the attached ceviche restaurant just down the hall from the apartment. All of this led to a less relaxing stay such that we didn’t want to spend a lot of time in the apartment. It is unfortunate location but as such the high price is not justified.

• Boom (8/5): Palafito excellance - The location was good. The Palafito was nice, clean with a very nice decor. Street parking was no problem for those with a vehicle. They had a good kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer. We had a unit with a bedroom and a common area pull-out couch. The pull out coach was exposed to a chandelier light that we could not figure out how to turn off as it flooded the living room with light. If that issue is fixed I would suggest this place to any traveler.

• Dorothea (8/5): Lovely apartment on water - Palafito means house on stilts over the water. This is a lovely one. You can walk to several restaurants on the same level. Going into center of Castro entails a very, very steep walk or use a taxi. This apartment was very well equipped and lovely. See if you can get water view but street view ok. Main problem is that owner, manager is only present at certain hours..she speaks only limited English...is pleasant enough but if she is not present, no one is there to assist you. I would still recommend this place
• M (10/5): Nice apartment. Town not charming. - The apartment is in a good location and very nice. It has a beautiful view. Castro has no charm. A lot of traffic in the center and a combination of new restaurants and run down buildings at the edges. People are wonderful.
