The room was very hot upon entering, because the electric does not work without the room key inserted. The air conditioning controls were tricky, but cool once operating. Mrtah (6/5): Not for everyone - TK123 Hanoi Hotel is tucked away in a narrow street in the heart of the city, which might be a bit tricky to find at first. The rooms are clean but dated, with older decor that might not appeal to everyone. There’s only one lift, which can be a bit of a wait during busy hours. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast is included but quite limited in variety, so don’t expect a large buffet spread. The hotel’s location is fairly central — just a 10 to 15-minute walk to Hanoi’s popular Old Quarter and the famous Train Street. 869AndrewJ869 (2/5): Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend - ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5) Unfortunately, my stay at TK123 Hanoi Hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms felt tired and worn, with no soundproofing, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The TV didn’t work at all, and the in-room safe was broken, and replaced, but the second one was also broken, which raised concerns about security. Breakfast was very limited, with few options and poor variety—not what you'd expect from a hotel trying to position itself above budget level. In reality, this felt more like a basic budget hotel rather than something of higher quality. On the positive side, the road was relatively quiet, and there were a few cafes nearby where you could grab a bite, as you would be hungry after breakfast! Overall, I would not recommend this hotel unless your expectations are very low and you're just looking for a place to crash. There are better options in Hanoi at similar price points.

Harrison (9/5): Perfect location for train travel - We booked it solely because of its location close to the Hanoi railway station as a base for between 3pm and 9pm before we caught the train to Sapa. It was ideal and the facilities were perfect for a shower and a rest. In a nice street surrounded by restaurants. Staff were fantastic. Nothing it was great .

Gaku (10/5): 良いホテルでした - 一人旅でしたが、部屋は十分に広く清潔でした。トイレ、シャワーの水圧も特に問題ありませんでした。スタッフは、どの人もフレンドリーで、対応が非常に良かったです。私に対応してくれた人は、皆さん英語が通じました。朝食付き、無料の水（350ml✕2本）付きでこの価格はリーズナブルだと思います。部屋にセーフティボックスがあるのもよかったです。WiFiも良好に接続できました。なお、TVの映りはあまり良くなかったですが、ベトナム語がわからない自分には問題ではありませんでした。
Danielle (8/5): overall worth it - room was huge - there are 10 floors of rooms and most of them face the back of the hotel which is quieter (noise only comes from inside the hotel eg chairs scraping, guests in the hall). location is good; although it's not really near the old quarter, we stayed here because of proximity to the train station and the hotel itself is situated on a quieter alley, not like mercure around the corner which is on the main road (on which you'll need to rely on their soundproofing). there are a lot of cafes and food places in the alley itself. staff are excellent!!!! they were so nice to accommodate our request to delay checkout by 1 hour and we managed to leave our bags there until our train at 7pm in the safe hands of the reception. if you need anything, you can call down and it'll get sorted within 15 minutes. amenities: room had a kettle and teacups, tea coffee and two small bottles of water were replenished daily; toilet had razor, shower cap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, cotton buds. there was a safe (but we couldn't open it) and hangers in a closet for clothes. towels were refreshed daily even tho we hung ours up and there was a fridge and tv in the room. AC controls were new looking and easy to control. mattress was medium firmness, pillows were of a soft to medium firmness. comforter was warm and the curtains were blackout. toilet had a built in bidet for both men and women as well as a hose and there was a wall mounted hair dryer but the cable was a bit short the bathtub was a bit odd - it didn't feel like there was support at the bottom of the plastic tub where you stand under the shower head and we saw some cracks on the side of that area so it was a bit concerning. the water pressure was also a little bit weak. the tub itself was very high up so getting in and out was an exercise in safety and risk management. the grouting around the tub was also a little bit moldy. the shower head was also a bit oddly positioned- anyone above 169cm would struggle to have a comfortable shower without bending over to get under the water other than the precariousness of the tub and the odd positioning of the shower head - nothing to complain about. no comments on the breakfast bc we did not make it down in time any of the days (it runs from 630 to 9am). the staff, the location and the rest of the hotel are vvvv worthwhile!!!

Room was clean with good size, nice light in the room and there was a bathtub inside the bathroom. Water pressure was good enough. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had varieties. Highly recommended!

We selected this hotel as a second option after the first fell through and it did not disappoint. Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, small downsides would be that we could hear our neighbours in the evening when they returned late from outside, also the breakfast would benefit from more options like yoghurt, cheese, ham and similar. Otherwise a nice place!

Akiko (8/5): - 旧市街までGrabを使用すれば200〜300円程度で移動でき、空港までのバス停までも徒歩圏内でスーツケースを持って移動できます。近所にスーパーがあるので、アイスやフルーツ、乳製品なども購入できます。朝食はおかずの品数は少なめですが、フォーや卵料理はその場で作ってくれるライブ形式です。フルーツも何種類も置いてあり、ホテル代から考えるとすごくお得だと思います。ちょっと難点だったのが、シャワーブース部分です。水はけが悪く、ずっと水が溜まってます。シャワー温度も適応になるまで時間がかかりました。あと、エアコンが安定しておらず、18℃にしても全然冷えなかったり、途中で切れたりもしました。使える日はずっと調子良く動いていたので、なぜ日によって違うのかが分からないです。スタッフの方は親切で、色々相談にのって下さいました。お値段から考えたら、おすすめのホテルです。

At the time of my visit Hanoi was subject to a cold spell of weather and the hotel's heating system could not cope causing the rooms to be uncomfortably cold. The hotels location is very convenient.
957sudhirg (2/5): Avoid hotel TK123 in Hanoi. - This hotel to be avoided. 1) located in so narrow a lane that your bus cannot enter it and so you end up at the hotel entrance with lugging all your luggage yourself. 2) Our Room 601 had a balcony opening to the narrow lane but nothing to see 3) the breakfast served is very low quality in terms of taste and variety 4) the hotel lobby is so small that most times one has to stand waiting for your tour operator to collect you.

192cr (10/5): Near Old Quarter Hanoi and wonderful helpful staff - Very helpful staff near Old Quarter with walking distance to many restaurants and markets. Clean rooms and very good hot breakfast including pho, fried eggs, fruit, etc. Attentive breakfast staff kept everything stocked. Front desk was very helpful choosing and good booking the perfect Ha Long Bay catamaran tour which exceeded all our expectations. It is not a real catamaran so don't think that you have to lie across netting. It is a real boat with inside dining - excellent 5 star food. They had a cash bar. They also put you on a small rowboat with local ex-fisherman to see the caves and help these fisherman make a living with tips. Definitely recommend and would stay again next time!
Adrien (10/5): Great hotel - Everyone working at this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. I stayed 3 nights overall in between short trips to other cities and they kept my luggage safe in between my stays. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect: 5mn walk from the train station/airport bus stop 86. And walking distance from old quarter too while quiet.

Verified traveler (2/5): - My 1st room was too small to open my suitcase even on the floor. I had one request; a room with a window. Second room had a sealed window with metal bars. They said that all their rooms except the suites with balconies have sealed-off windows with metal bars. There is one very narrow stairs, maybe about 2 to 2.5 feet wide. A death trap in an emergency. Also their “hallways” are extremely narrow and room doors are close to one another. You can hear voices from next room or the hallway like they are in your own room. My mattress was worn out and collepsed, felt metal on my back, maybe they keep mattresses for an eternity (see pic).Sheets were dirty and bugs in the room. Inop Safe box with dead battery and other inop stuff. Shower water did not drain. Too many issues to list all. A never of them to charge a penalty to move out, but had to move out. Employees, even the liar frontdesk jerk, seemingly nice, but turned out to be just outwardly. Don’t know how they have good reviews. I hope they post even bad reviews like this.

I usually don’t write reviews but after reaching the hotel that too around 3am, if I am writing a review then you can understand how disappointed I might be. LOCATION: 1- Pathetic and cheap looking hotel which isn’t easy to find and the roads to reach the hotel are blocked due to some major construction since long. Can you imagine, we were sitting on the road, driving haywire for 2 hours with the cab driver who couldn’t figure out the way cos of this mess. AMENITIES and AMBIENCE; Equally poor, cheap looking dingy rooms, cleanliness below average. Mouldy bathroom ceiling, no iron or ironing board. It was suffocating to stay indoors. Truly disappointed in myself for trusting the good online reviews and booking the hotel last minute. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Yet to figure that out fully. However, so far it’s been below average- no remorse, didn’t even understand how annoyed we were with the inconvenience faced and gave us a pathetic suffocating room. If this is customer service then I have no hopes. Overall: don’t go if you want to spend quality time, you’ll spoil your experience of visiting Hanoi. I would never ever visit or stay here.

Hinako (10/5): - 初めての女一人旅でしたが、スタッフの方も丁寧でとても安心して宿泊出来ました。建物が少し古くて壁が薄いと感じるかもしれませんが、掃除が丁寧にされていて清潔感があって良かったです。お風呂も使いやすかったです。またハノイに来ることがあればまた利用したいです。
B8668IQdarrenc (8/5): Good Hotel, Excellent staff but I still had a few issues!!! - I arrived on November 1st to a very warm welcome outside hotel by 2 female staff. I had pre organised taxi with hotel, went smoothly. I was escorted to first room which was a standard one, I had paid for a suite. Refused. I was then asked to go to the family room on top floor. Not particularly nice. Dodgy air con, shabby curtains, blinds and unappealing fridge. I could not also get a safety deposit box to work, 3rd one worked! So I obviously complained and demanded a move. I was informed 'my suite' not available and 'fully booked'. After 3 or 4 days of my relentless complaining I got my suite, very nice, see photos. The beds are harder which I prefer but may not suite everyone. Suite electric toilet and double air con were great extras. 2 TVs which I didn't use. A good living space for a longer stay. Apart from this pretty major room issue, I cannot fault the attention and service of staff. A very high standard. The location very good down traditional, safe Hanoi side street. I found it very quiet in rooms. Breakfast excellent. Nice man serving the Eggs and traditional pho soup. Eggs to order, hot small buffet with additional fruit and veg. I liked how they changed the buffet each day as I was staying for almost 2 weeks! The Hotel also manages tours. I choose a 2 night stay in Sapa and a few days out in both Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. Value pretty good but the overnight's in Halong Bay were expensive. I enjoyed all these tours, remember they can be a fair distance on bus! I'm leaving tomorrow the 14th of November again on pre booked taxi to airport, around 21 dollars. Good value as it takes an hour! I will be back in Hanoi and yes I'd use this hotel again I've also been in touch with my travel operator Travel Republic 're the suite issue'. They have little customer service. Anyway, off to Ho Chi Minh next on March 20th, 2024. Go to Vietnam, a great place with very nice people!!!

HIROSHI (4/5): - 経営が変わったのか温泉サウナが閉鎖されていた。朝食はいつも同じで飽きが出てくる。スタッフは咳をしながら調理し、客が退席しても片付けもせずスマホを見ている始末でした。客室設備は古いが掃除はしっかりやっていてよかったです。コスパ重視の人向け。

Ｗｅｅ (8/5): Decent and strategic place to stay the night - Strategic location. Comfortable bed. Clean and tidy room. Some weird vibrations and noises during the morning time disturbed my sleep, probably because of construction nearby (but I stayed on the 11th floor). The facilities/building is a bit old but still very decent though. For some reason, the refrigerator was not turned on...

Kevin (7/5): Breakfast needs improvement. - The staff are welcoming and understand English. The rooms are well maitained and the vetilation is effective. The breakfast variety is poor and there is no waitress to assist in a busy brakfast area. The upmarket steak restaurant no longer exists. This hotel correctly rates as 3 stars, no more.
tegan2812 (8/5): A good hotel - The staff were helpful, there was option for luggage storage. The bed was quite hard but once I got in it was actually easy to sleep in. It was great to have breakfast included - it was a limited selection.

Servis (8/5): Walking distance to train station and a nice restaurant. - Good location, close to train station and walking distance to the ICE. Breakfast was tasty (a small buffet, including hot meal and a soup as well.) Cleanliness and equipment of the room corresponds to the price.
