The hotel offers a fantastic experience with great ambiance, well-maintained rooms, and superb facilities. The staff (except at check-in) were polite and helpful, and the location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. Our check-in experience was disappointing. We had requested early check-in, and the hotel initially informed us that it would be subject to room availability. Upon arrival, we were told that no rooms were available and had to wait until 10 AM. After waiting for 1-2 hours, I checked again when the shift changed, and this time, they suddenly said rooms were available but only with an extra charge of 1,650 THB. This was frustrating and felt unfair. Despite this inconvenience, the rest of our stay was pleasant. If the check-in process were smoother and more transparent, it would have been a perfect experience.

The location is perfect for shopping and night life. Breakfast is good. There is a good restaurant just downstairs overlooking the sea.

Garry (3/5): Not good. Nowhere to relax in the sun by the pool and toxic fumes in the room. - The bed and the balcony and the gym No sun beds or umbrellas by the pool at ALL. Only dining tables for the coco restaurant so that was a HUGE disappointment. In the morning the smell from the toilet and sink drains were toxic to the point I was concerned for our health.

Vasu (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast is just fair enough other than that is the best Room is comfy m staff is good hospitality , especially Pool , Kids club are build for kids !!! Kids never want to go out. In the Kids club , there are a lot of staff to takiing care of kids so parent can be just rest in resting area and wait for the kids to explore by themselves. IMO It s a good decision for this big renovation. Breakfast, egg and grill station is not enough for all guest.
Brent (4/5): - Property has terrible paths to go anywhere. There is terrible, winding pathways just to get to the beach road. The same goes for pool access. Just not a good place to stay. Some front desk personnel were excellent. Others were no help at help. Outside bellhops particularly not helpful and actually aiding crooked business practices with the local transportation providers. I cannot warn foreign guests enough: do not stay here!

Excellent location near the more peaceful end of the beach. Very nice staff on reception and at the play area. Best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten at the breakfast buffet! It was all good.

Mahmood (1/5): Never again! - Apart from the location and some welcoming staff, there is nothing. I booked this property because I’ve stayed in it couple of times before. I was shocked with the quality of this hotel at this time . ‏moreover, the communication and the level of understanding to simple requests is very challenging this time. The first thing I noticed in this hotel is that when we arrived by two van as a 12 guests with kids and toddlers, no one came to assist us in the luggage. we had to go and ask for someone to come and do this job. And this ended up was 15 minutes of our time. The check in desk, the concierge gave us the rooms and mixed up in the special request regarding the baby crib this was sent to the wrong room. When we called asking about the baby coat, it took more than one hour to get it to the right room and it is very difficult to explain such a simple thing to them. The rooms that we checked in are not properly cleaned. There are some stains on the bed sheets, and I can feel the sand on my bed. The bath towels or too old and it is tearing you can see strains of the fabric falling from the edges of the towel. Although one of the rooms is a family suite , they did not give us breakfast vouchers for more than two and the room is for 3+ guests! One of the other shocking things is that I booked on March 2024 , and almost 2 weeks before my check-in date I got a no-reply message The pool of the hotel is closed for maintenance and if I want to use a pool, I have to get out of this property and walk to other two properties around which is shocking to me and if I knew this before I would’ve not made this booking.

The room did not have enough facilities. Even the toilets did not have basics like conditioners.the quality of bottle waters and the tea provided is so low class. Will never ever recommend this place to stay to anyone.

PAUL (2/5): stay away not a 4star building site - main feature of hotel closed pool, sunbeds, bar all closed for renovations we were not notified about this, only on arrival into the room a note had been left on a table no member of staff told us about any renovation, we would of cancelled if we would of been told when hotels.com took the booking definitely not a 4 star I expect some sort of refund

Ahsan (4/5): The Front Desk was completely unprofessional and even the senior manager in the morning was same. - The new kids play area was very good. Their swimming pool was closed for renovation and they sent us to the nearby Mood Htel swimming pool. But the pool water was contaminated and not properly maintained. My daughter got rota virus in her stomach and vomitted 11 time at night and we had to move her to the nearby International Hospital. We spent the night at the hospital and the doctors suggested to move our daughter to Bangkok for better treatment. We straight rented a taxi and readmitted her at Bumrungrad Hospital for the next 3 days. I left one day before (on May 30) but the hotel even did not refund me the one days rental payment. It cost me TB 25000 in Pataya Hospital and it will surely cost me at least BHT 200,000 in the 3 day stay in Bangkok Bumrungrad Hospital. The A-1 Hotel should have checked the quality of pool water before sending guests to the MOODE Hotel. They did not do their due diligence. The Front desk also initially did not want to help us with finding a Taxi for taking us to the Hospital. Once I started shouting and screaming at midnight, they sent a security guard to drive us to the Hospital using the Hotel car which was always there. I was shocked that they told me that the hotel was not responsible for the illness and even calling a taxi to help us go to the Hospital. The quality of service was unacceptable and management was not even bothered to refund me for the day I could not stay at the hotel for their irresponsibility.

The rooms are very old, have not been renovated, and are dirty, and all the belongings are used up, and there was a leak from the ceiling on our bags. On the 22 of May, there was no electricity from 11am until 15pm. The breakfast was very bad, Indian food section only There is no variety in food, and there is no cheese. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
